Michael was wonderful. I had spoken to him before on the phone and gave him a price range before coming in. He stayed within our budget, really listened to what I was looking for and helped me find a beautiful dress that both my mom., MOH and I were happy with. It was a very non-stressful process, and he made me feel very comfortable.

I had never been to Nolte's, but had heard about it by friends and neighbors. I was getting married and walked in "just to see", sort of spur of the moment last September. Michael was there and greeted me kindly and graciously. I told him I just came in to take a peek and get a sense of what the shop had to offer. Within one hour, I found my dress! Michael has such a way with color, style, fit, and what's appropriate for one's needs. Once the dress arrived, Emily assisted me with shoes decisions, jewelry, etc. The customer service was above and beyond when there were issues with shipping and timing of arrivals, and following through on details. Thank you!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Michael and his gorgeous shop! I had looked all around the city, at several different stores for my dress with no luck. I came to Michael and he immediately understood my vision and knew exactly what I wanted. I tried on one dress at Nolte's and that is all it took! Michael and Nolte’s bridal was simply a life saver. As my fiancé and I looked over all of the large responsibilities of planning a wedding, going to school and working- it honestly seemed impossible. Nolte’s was one store I knew I had to go to for wedding dress shopping. When I walked in, I knew it was the place that I would find my dress. Michael Nolte personally took time to get to know my family who was with me, and learn more about my wedding. He helped me pick the perfect dress. He was so kind, patient, and gave priceless advice. It was an absolutely wonderful day and I would recommend Nolte’s to any bride I meet.

I loved my experience here! I felt like a bride because it was just me in the salon and not brides all over. I got the pleasure of working with Mr. Nolte and he did a fantastic job by picking dresses to fit me and the theme, so by the second dress that was it! I recommend all brides to go here!

Eight years ago after shopping in NC and even a trip to Chicago and Michigan Ave which included a trunk show with a famous designer, my daughter could not find “the dress.” I researched places in KC and one of the places I wanted to take her to was Nolte’s. She has tried on some dresses when Michael Nolte came in and assessed the situation and said “I know just the right dress for you!” She tried it on and it was the perfect “bride” moment! Later when I was at the Nolte’s Briarcliff location feeling clueless, Michael just happened to be there and helped me find the perfect dress and accessories that both my daughter and I loved. Now eight years later I found myself as the bride and had let my busy job as administrator and teacher and the events and concerts I had to plan take precedent over my own wedding plans. I was panicking about my procrastination, and time was running out. I walked into Nolte’s late on a Friday very apologetic about my last-minute situation. I was treated very graciously by Emily who offered immediate help, but to my extreme good fortune, Michael Nolte was there and immediately assisted. As just as he had magically done eight years previously for my daughter, he assessed the situation and knew the perfect dress! It was exactly what I had pictured: age-appropriate, flattering and elegant! Just as I can listen to a singer or choir and know just the right repertoire for them, Michael has that unique instinct for instantly evaluating and selecting exactly what perfectly suits the individual. Very magical! And then he stood there and helped me pick exactly the venue, accessories, flowers, etc. — everything that I had delayed in making decisions on. I left the store with the weight of the world off my shoulders and the event turned out even more perfectly than I could have pictured. We even decided I could wear the shoes he had picked out eight years previously. The additional magic was that he arranged with the wonderful lady who had done alterations for my daughter to have this dress ready for me to wear in less than two weeks! Michale Nolte was such a rescue to me— his expertise in style and all things wedding- related are incomparable. I am forever grateful and would recommend Nolte’s to everyone!

I have been dreaming of the day of picking out my wedding dress since I was a little girl. With such high expectations in my head it was hard to imagine a dress that would measure up! Fortunately for me, Nolte's Bridal was there to exceed anything I could've imagined! Michael Nolte took the time before putting me in any dresses to really get to know me, my family, my fiancé and wedding dreams. He has such a vision and eye for all things wedding that puts you at ease. Emily Nolte was so inviting and fabulous to work with as well! They were there to help me find the perfect dress to fit me and my personality. So much so I ended up picking out the first dress I tried on!!! Michael even helped me with florals and accessories that would highlight the dress!! All of the dresses are exquisite and stand out from other dresses I've seen. I would highly recommend this place to any bride wanting a fairytale experience.

It is difficult to put into words the level of disappointment and pure deceitfulness we have encountered with Michael Nolte. On first visit, Nolte is overwhelmingly engaged and sells you services and gowns that he simply does not provide. He sold me a custom designer gown, veil and earrings for more than $7,500 and when it arrived did not allow me to have my wedding dress. He strung me along for 11 months making me believe that he would honor his word. Then, just over a month before my wedding he refused to give me the gown, of which I paid the deposit and brought the rest of the dollars to pay him in total. He had me come try on the dress, told me it was perfect and refused to allow me to have the dress without signing a non-disparagement clause over his wedding coordination services that he fraudulently sold me. At the time we purchased the dress, he sold me a full service wedding coordination package for $12,000 and did not plan the wedding. He was a horrific wedding planner, of which we terminated 90 days after hiring him because he performed no work and only pointed his finger at the bride and groom to blame them. His email communication is telling when he told the bride “if you wanted an order taker, you should hire an assistant. I do not and will not work off lists created by the bride.” We requested a refund of the money multiple times since he collected our money and did not deliver my gown and did not plan the wedding. Nolte refused to give us our money back. He even told me to my face “I am not a crook”, when in reality that is exactly what he is. We even took him to court over the issue and we were informed that he did not have the dollars to pay us so do not proceed with the case. He ripped away the wedding gown of my dreams only 41 days before the wedding, leaving me with no dress and an emotional wreck. From a bride to another bride, do not hire him or purchase a gown from him under any circumstances!

Nothing short of exceptional. From the moment you walk in the door of Michael Nolte's BEAUTIFUL boutique, Michael makes you feel like a princess and treats your mom like a queen. I spent an hour talking to Michael, enjoying champagne, and connecting through mutual friends and family. It was such a great time that I wish we could have spent the whole day there! He was genuinely interested in our story and we even shared our engagement video and pictures. After talking Michael said, "I know THE dress for you." It was perfect. I tried on ONE dress and knew it was the one. It was incredible that Michael could talk to me and know exactly what I needed. He offered tips and tricks to wedding planning that we will definitely use in our wedding. His incredible talent and love for weddings is so special and every bride deserves the experience that Michael and his team can give. I will forever recommend this man and his impeccable taste and talent.

As the Mother of the Bride, I was overwhelmed with all the planning. Mike Nolte helped with all of it, he has such an eye and is so attentive to every detail. The ceremony and reception was so lovely, I truly enjoyed it.

I left my dress appointment feeling like a queen! Mr. Nolte had hand selected dresses he thought I would like, match my vision for the day, and flatter my body type, based upon my comments made during our initial wedding planning meeting. Mike then customized my dress to fit my exact vision. He himself also has amazing skill and expertise in designing, so had great suggestions for altering my dress to make it truly one of a kind. He made the experience so simple and I walked out that day with my perfect dress!

As the father of the groom Mike encouraged and engaged me in this journey and helped me make sense of what was happening. His attention to detail coupled with support and guidance as well as a collaborative spirit allowed our families to experience a powerful and elegant celebration. Woven through all of this is Mike's creativity. Just jaw dropping, unexpected, delightful and stunning creativity.

I purchased my dress at Nolte’s Bridal. Michael helped me select my perfect wedding dress and my bridesmaids dress for my sister. We both have very different body types and style but Michael helped us choose dresses that flattered our body types & fit with my wedding vision. Alterations were easy with Candy. My sister was 8 months pregnant at the time of my wedding and Candy helped to make the dress we bought before she was pregnant work for her baby bump. Michael and his assistant Emma-Lea are experienced professionals that provide invaluable help in finding your dress.

What to do first? I suggest the dress & in the KC area I suggest you shop at Nolte’s Bridal. Michael helped both my daughters select their dress. They have very different body types and style-Michael helped them choose flattering silhouettes & made suggestions that made their ensembles beautifully unique. The alterations by Candy are professional & Emma-Lea provides excellent advice on finishing touches. There are thousands of wedding dresses and many shops. Make your life easy-go to Nolte’s Bridal. Michael will help your daughter find the dress that looks lovely, compliments the venue & makes her feel beautiful. Having an experienced professional help your daughter is invaluable-you will leave Nolte’s knowing your child will look amazing.

I shopped for my dress all around KC and even went to Dallas and found my gown at Nolte’s immediately - it was the first one I tried one! Michael helped so much and was happy to customize anything about the gown to make it perfect. I was thrilled with my experience and I can’t wait to wear it on my wedding day!!

Nolte's Bridal helped create the most beautiful and special day for us. Michael Nolte's personal touch was felt from the beginning of planning by helping to pick out a dress to the day of the wedding when he oversaw the full day. He went above and beyond by driving his car back to retrieve our wedding rings after we accidentally forgot them. He is a fantastic wedding planner, has a top notch staff, and most importantly, he is a wonderful person!

I am just ecstatic with how gorgeous my dress and veil turned out. They were truly unique pieces that completely fit my style, and what I was going for. I couldn’t be happier! So many of my guests made a point to comment on my dress! Mike Nolte (the owner) was wonderful to work with, and has a true eye for bridal fashion. I wasn't planning on going to this bridal shop, but I heard they were having a 75% sale. This sale was amazing! I ended up finding my wedding dress here and got an AMAZING deal on it. The lady who helped me was super friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this bridal shop to anyone.

My daughter found her dream dress at Nolte's Bridal. With a little custom tweaking her dress is a one of a kind. Michael Nolte himself, along with Emmalea, took care of us. The service was both personal and intimate. From the high end gown selection, and some at unbelievable discounts, to the atmosphere and service, Nolte's Bridal is a class act.

Mr. Nolte walked us through the process, and was so honest. He didn't just throw dresses at me, he listened to what was important to me, and found dresses to fit! It was such a relaxing experience, no other place compared. I felt like the number one customer!

I had the best experience at Nolte’s Bridal. I had been to many other bridal shops prior and had tried on probably at least 50+ gowns in hopes to find a dress I absolutely loved. He and his daughter, Emily, took the time to make sure I had an excellent experience and that I felt confident in my purchase. My dress is unique, glamorous and high class. I couldn’t be more excited to wear it on my wedding day! Mr. Nolte not only has expertise in bridal gowns but also in the wedding planning process. I found his book to be very helpful for planning and wedding etiquette tips. You will not be disappointed in your experience at Nolte’s! Highly recommended!

My daughter had been looking for her dream gown for a couple of months before we decided to visit Nolte's Bridal. She visited many bridal salons in Nebraska, Kansas, and Missouri. Although there were some very pretty gowns none of them compared to the "experience" we had and the gowns that we saw at Nolte's Bridal. I called down to Nolte's and spoke to Mr. Nolte himself. I explained what my daughter was looking for and from my description he selected three gowns that were in the dressing room when we arrived for our appointment. The gowns were exactly what my daughter was looking for. These gowns were gorgeous and a step above anything she had tried on at any other bridal salon (and there were many). We were assisted at our appointment by both Mr. Nolte and his daughter. My daughter ended up choosing the first gown she tried on at Nolte's. Mr. Nolte also does wedding planning and gave us tips on what my daughter might choose for her bouquet that would best compliment her dress. Mr. Nolte was generous enough to sign a copy of this newly published book on event planning for us. The whole experience at Nolte's was truly amazing. Every bride deserves to have the "Say Yes to the Dress" experience that my daughter had at Nolte's Bridal. We are thankful we decided to go to Nolte's Bridal and were able to find my daughter's dream gown along with an experience she will remember for a lifetime.

I have had the most amazing experience at Nolte’s! I walked in for my appointment not knowing what I would find but when Mr. Nolte looked at me and asked a couple questions he pulled one dress and it was the dress! There were a couple of tweaks he sent to the designer to make sure it would make me look my greatest! He also had suggestions for veils, jewelry and hair, which was way more than I got out of any store before! The staff are nice and are pleasant, even on the phone! Also, no one can hold a candle to their alterations! If you want a one stop shop where you won’t have to try on 50 dresses just go to Nolte’s! They are experienced and can make every bride look amazing!

Nolte's was my first stop with my family on a busy day and I couldn't believe it but I found my dress on the 3rd one I tried on! It was a great experience. I loved the private dressing rooms and the emphasis on experience.

I was at the bra shop next door and saw a sign for a sample sale at Nolte's. I wandered inside just to look and was immediately greeted by the owner and sales associate. When I told them I was just there to look, he smiled and said that was perfectly alright and showed me where the best deal dresses were! Of course, for only $500 I ended up trying one on, and, of course, it was absolutely perfect! What I really loved about my experience was that Mr. Nolte didn't try to upsell me, upstage me, or upgrade me. I actually had been interested in the more expensive section of the store, but was encouraged by him to check the bargains first just in case there was one I might like more! Once the dress was on, I didn’t see him again, but the assistant was very attentive to my needs, finding me veils, necklaces, and sashes, then allowed me and my party time to ourselves to talk things over. Overall, I was very impressed by my experience and would definitely recommend to a friend! I do not think this store is very friendly to a small budget, though, unless you happen to wander in for a sample sale! 😉 So if you are looking to stay on the cheap, like I was, make sure you go on the right day!

Nolte's is top notch in expertise and customer service. Shortly before my wedding, I had undergone a surgery that left me concerned about my body. My spirits were lifted when I visited with the remarkable Michael Nolte at Nolte's Bridal. He was never concerned for a moment, and assured me that I would look amazing on my wedding day. When I went to his shop with my sister, he knew, "just the dress." Seriously - it was the first one I tried on! I used Candy, the seamstress they recommended for alterations, and she practically rebuilt the whole thing so it fit me like a glove. I have never felt more beautiful!

I had a wonderful experience here. I called last minute that day - 45 min before closing because I had an awful experience at another bridal salon. They said absolutely come in and we'd love to work with you. When we arrived they treated me wonderfully and listened to everything I had to say. The first dress I put on I knew was the one. I felt like a queen. It had sparkles from top to bottom. Just what I was looking for. Everyone in the shop was so professional and Mr. Nolte himself came out to congratulate me on finding my dream dress. From now on I will never go to another gown store. If you like sparkles and wonderful customer service this is your place!

Very helpful and kind staff. I went in without an appointment to look at their sale rack. Mr. Nolte happened to be in and attended to me and pulled a dress off the rack I was convinced I would not like. I tried it on though and that's the dress I bought. Great deal, great help. Mr. Nolte and his staff really know what they're doing.

My experience at Nolte's was wonderful. The salon is absolutely gorgeous and my parents and I felt so comfortable while I tried on gowns. Michael was incredibly helpful and made the whole process totally seamless and fun. From the first visit to the salon to my final fitting, total perfection!

I had a great experience at Nolte's Bridal! Mr. Nolte himself assisted me and was able to look at my shape and coloring and identify the perfect dress for me! He spent probably an hour of one-on-one time with me and my mom and sister, which was very special. His staff are very professional and responsive. You must visit Nolte's if you're in the area!

Nolte's was SO GREAT! I cannot express the amount of professionalism, respect, and fun that this bridal salon has. The dresses were of amazing quality and Barbie was fantastic. She worked with me considering the wants and needs that I had and it was just such a great experience. I can see why this business has been around for years and it truly shows. Our daughter was visiting from the East Coast, and we decided to go dress shopping. We were extremely pleased with the dresses that Michael Nolte had, specifically a custom dress he had designed, which was made by Stephen Yearick. The dress was absolutely stunning! Our daughter was a picture perfect princess, thanks to Michael Nolte and Candy Wilkins, the exceptional seamstress who fitted her.

While we are just beginning the process of working with Michael, I can't tell you how fantastic he was in both recommending and customizing an absolutely gorgeous wedding dress. We had some trepidations as we began the process as we had heard that most salons carry small sample sizes and it could be difficult to get an accurate picture of what a dress would actually look like in the end. Michael completely set us at ease, explaining that he carries sample sizes across the spectrum and that he already had some in mind after listening to our thoughts. He assured us that we would most likely find "the dress" within an hour......in fact, it was the second dress we tried on and we fell in love with it in about 30 minutes. His eye for detail and his ability to recommend customization to ensure that the gown was perfect, helped exceed our expectations for our experience! All that and he is personable, fun, and feels like your best friend at the same time! Hiring him to coordinate our wedding ensures that the next few months will be filled with joy and fun with little to no stress. You simply can't go wrong with Michael!!

I recently got in engaged and shopping for wedding dresses seemed very overwhelming. I had made appointments at multiple salons, with Nolte's Bridal being the first. Mike Nolte helped me during my appointment and took the time to sit down with me, my mom and my friend to get to know us on a personal level. After talking with me about my wedding and visions for my dress, he selected a few gowns for me to try on. Amazingly, the first dress he selected for me to try on was PERFECT. He had taken all my ideas and with his detailed eye for fashion, he chose a dress that was best for my style, budget, and body type. I would highly recommend Nolte's Bridal in finding the absolute best dress for a bride's special day.

I had such a lovely experience at Nolte's. I came to Nolte's with no inkling of what I wanted, as I was assured by others Mr. Nolte knows what he's doing and along with his staff, can help you find the dress of your dreams that is perfect for your body type and personality. I brought my future M-I-L, future step daughter and my mother. I was greeted immediately by the staff and as we were walking through some options, Mr. Nolte came out and also greeted me and my mothers. After talking with him for less than 5 minutes, he told me he had something in mind. I was whisked away to the beautiful back room to try on the exquisite gown (mind you, and others, but this one was fabulous) and sure enough, it was stunning. It was perfect for my body type and made me feel like a million bucks. I tried on others "just to be sure" and nothing else compared. I was offered vendor recommendations at the end and one of the consultants (Jennifer) was so kind to even text me vendor recommendations personally. I definitely got the VIP experience! Would recommend x1000 to my friends and future brides!

The experience I had at Nolte's was hands down superior to other stores. The dressing room was intimate, but large enough to have guests. Michael knew exactly what dress was my style and the first dress he had waiting ended up being my dress! He was very patient and had a great selection to help me compare. I also found my veil and other accessories there.

My daughter found the perfect dress for her figure, the venue and our budget. Michael Nolte was so sensitive to all the little nervous fears we had about finding THE dress. We found it within 3 try-ons. Michael went the extra mile to make sure it was customized for her exactly. We cannot recommend Noltes enough.

The moment we walked into Noltes we knew we were in the bridal salon we had envisioned. The service has been wonderful -- not only has Emma has been terrific in communicating the customization we are requesting of the dress my daughter has selected, she has also been very patient with me! We love the whole feel of the salon from the showroom, dressing rooms and sitting area where my daughter in law and I enjoyed a sip of champagne while my daughter was trying on dresses! I had the most amazing experience at Nolte’s. Mr. Nolte was fantastic to work with! This was the second place I looked at and the first dress he picked was the one! He listened to what I wanted and found the perfect dress! He also helped me find bridesmaid dresses too! My mother is going to go back and look at mother of the bride dresses too. We had a private room for my mom, my sister, and I. It was the best service I could ever want. I cannot wait to get my dress, it is going to be incredible! I fell in love with Nolte's before I even stepped foot in the boutique. The gowns are a class above the rest in the metro area. THE dress turned out to be a silk stunner dazzling with Swarovski crystals. I can't wait to walk down the eye to greet the love of my life. I can't thank Mr. Nolte and his team enough for helping me find the perfect dress for what will be the perfect day.

If a bride is looking for a sophisticated and elegant dress and shopping experience, she should go to Nolte’s. Barbie was extremely helpful, listened to my ideas and feedback, and made excellent selections. They have exquisite taste at Nolte’s which makes it easy for them to also match your veil to your dress. Additionally, Emma-Lea was extremely helpful and clear when it comes to all the paperwork. I have only the highest recommendations for Nolte’s.

Nolte's provided me with the dress of my dreams. I was able to explain what I wanted in a dress, and after a few misses, he put me in a beautiful dress that I knew was the one from the moment I put it on. I never had second thoughts about the dress even though I bought it a year in advance. Michael did push wearing a veil (initially I did not want one), but I am so glad he did! The whole look was stunning. Candy of alterations did a fabulous job and I only needed one fitting session in order to get it perfect. I will say that after I bought the dress, veil, and beaded belt I was never greeted by Michael again (even though he was in his office). This wasn't an issue, just slightly disappointing as we did spend quite a large amount of money at the store and at follow-up appointments had significant down time where I was alone due to other customers. Overall, I was very happy with my purchase.

Michael Nolte is a wedding genius! We arrived with a group of 7 and were immediately greeted by Nolte himself and delicious mimosas. Nolte was our bridal consultant for the day, so we were in good hands to say the least. After getting to know my sister and her overall wedding vision, he immediately knew what type of dress she needed to feel like a princess on her special day. She ended up choosing the 3rd dress he put on her. Nolte's expertise made it a painless process as there were 6 other opinionated judges in the room. The private wedding room chamber made for an intimate and memorable experience where we oohed and aahed at the stunning wedding dress that Nolte brilliantly paired with the perfect veil. A couple weeks later we returned to Nolte's for the bridesmaid dresses appointment. We were assisted by Nolte's daughter who had apparent knowledge in the wedding world. We miraculously went with the first dress I tried on. I would recommend Nolte's Bridal to anyone. It seems as though the slimmer inventory of dresses is what makes the dress shopping experience easier. With only the best of the best dresses to choose from, there's no doubt that the bride and bridesmaids will walk away with "the one."

Nolte's was one of the last places I tried on dresses and the service was great! Amber was very helpful and even though I did not find a dress I loved, when I showed them a picture of another dress I loved that they didn't have, it was special ordered for me because they agreed that that was MY dress. Nolte's definitely didn't have to do that!

Barb and Michael were very helpful in designing a dress that is absolutely stunning! Also very helpful in advising bridesmaids dresses, flowers, cake ideas, etc. I was nervous picking THE dress was going to be a stressful, overwhelming process. They made it the perfect experience and one I will never forget!

The service and staff at Nolte's Bridal was exceptional. With Mr. Nolte's expertise, knowledge, and vision of weddings, I was able to find the most beautiful, unique wedding dress that I had always dreamed about with only having to try on four dresses. The experience was very special, as my family who came with me felt we were the only ones in the store with their private bridal dressing room. The quality and prices of their dresses, whether it's bridal, bridesmaid, or mother of the bride and groom do not compare to anywhere else in Kansas City. I would recommend this store and Mr. Nolte's talent for planning weddings to anyone. Wedding planning can be very stressful, but it can be reduced tremendously by choosing Nolte's!

I cannot say enough good things about Nolte's! Looking for my wedding dress there wasn't a shopping trip - it was a full experience. I couldn't stop gushing about it to everyone for months after I got my dress. When my mom and I arrived, the staff was so welcoming and Mr. Nolte was incredible. We talked about the vision for the wedding and he selected a handful of dresses to try on - but I only tried on one! He has a special, one-of-a-kind touch - so many other brides have said they left with the first dress he had them try on! I couldn't have asked for a better experience, and every time I've gone in for other things since, everyone is just as helpful and focused on the bride as before. I highly recommend visiting Nolte's for all things formal!

There is a reason this place has been in business for so long!!! I had already visited every other salon in town and nothing "wowed" me. The minute I arrived at Nolte's, I felt like I had landed in heaven. The store is beautiful and the staff is incredibly friendly. Unlike other stores, Nolte's "bridal suites" gave me and my mom the privacy we wanted... finally didn't have to walk out in my gowns in front of the whole store which made me uncomfortable. Mr. Nolte talked with me first and got an idea of not only what I was looking for, but also the overall setting and feeling of the wedding. The first dress he picked was the one! If you are lucky enough to be able to work with Mr. Nolte, you WILL find your dream dress!!! He can customize anything you want to make it exactly what you were envisioning! Nolte's Bridal is INCREDIBLE... I only wished I had gone there first!! Thank you Mr. Nolte and staff for the amazing experience!!!!!

Nolte's is a one-stop-shop! Not only did they order my wedding gown for me, but Mr. Nolte met personally with my fiancé and I to design our wedding invitations and provided suggestions we never would have thought of. Everyone at this store has always communicated very well, is very responsive, professional, and respectful. I felt comfortable trying on wedding gowns and they were very helpful in finding gowns that were similar to what I was looking for. I would absolutely recommend Nolte's to any bride; whether you need your gown, jewelry, bridesmaid dress, flower girl dress, invitations, veil, or mother of the bride dress, they have it all!

I found my perfect dress at Nolte's. Mr. Nolte listened to what I was looking for and found it with the first dress he had me try on. The service was so personal and intimate. I had my own private room for viewing that allowed enough room for my mom, mother-in-law, grandma, and two bridesmaids. My Rosa Clara gown only took 5 months to come in once ordered and it was almost a perfect fit. Only $100 in alterations required. Candy Wilkins did all my alterations. She is fast and knows what she is doing! I also found my veil at Nolte's they custom ordered it so that it would be long enough for my cathedral length train. I am so glad that I went to Nolte's for my bridal experience! I could not have asked for anything better. If you are looking for an intimate, truly personal bridal experience look no further than Nolte's. He even sent me a thank you note the next week! I love Mr. Nolte!

After a bad experience with a different bridal store, which left me with no dress 5 months out from my wedding, I called Nolte's after doing some research and finding that they were the only store to sell the designer I loved (Rosa Clara). Frantic because I wasn't sure I could find a dress I liked and get it shipped in time for alterations and the wedding, I called Nolte's to make an appointment. They got me in that day, and even had my size in a style that I liked in stock (most stores carry 10-12, which makes it difficult to really know how the dress will fit if you're smaller). Michael and his staff were professional, caring, and clearly know what they're doing. They made what had originally been an extremely stressful and frustrating experience into a positive one, and I would highly recommend them.

I had a WONDERFUL experience from start to finish at Nolte's Bridal. We were greeted with champagne at the door and were taken care of at all times - from the first dress appointment to the final fitting and the invitations - my experience was OUTSTANDING. Nolte's dresses are extremely high quality with lots of different price ranges. The invitations were gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. I got my flower girl dress there and my beautiful veil. I recently went to Nolte's Bridal in Kansas City with my parents to look for a wedding dress. Before I even walked in, I saw "the dress" in the window of the store. It was absolutely perfect; everything I wanted in a wedding dress. During the appointment, I was allowed to try on as many dresses as I wanted, and to my great surprise, Michael Nolte himself came in to help with my appointment. He was fabulous! He walked me through each dress I tried on, giving pointers and advice on how he would alter it to fit my body. Once I put on "the dress"(a Nolte original design), he made me feel like a bride. I was all dolled up(veil, jewelry, tiara) and he pulled in the dress exactly how it would be when it was finished. While I didn't decide that day, I did make a follow-up appointment for the next Monday(only two days later), and they were able to fit me in. Michael even drove back to the store to fit me personally. I bought the dress as well as two veils(one long and one short), and am so excited! I highly recommend Nolte's Bridal for any woman interested in personalized help and not-your-average-wedding dresses. Completely unique in both style and service. I couldn't be happier with my dress and the brilliant people who work at Nolte's.

Overall I had the best experience a bride could ask for!! Allison and Michael were beyond helpful during the entire process. Not only did they help me find my dream dress, but custom designed my dress to my exact likings! Mr. Nolte was quick and willing to give his expert advice while still meeting all of my wants! All of the staff treated us with the utmost respect, thank you so much for such a wonderful opportunity, you have my referral!!

I got my wedding dress, veil, shoes, jewelry, and bridesmaid dresses and shoes from Nolte's. I also ordered the invitations, programs, menus, from their store, because I knew I could count on Michael to have great suggestions for us. They have a fantastic selection of dresses, and they make you feel like you're the only bride while you're there. Although we didn't use Michael as our wedding planner, he proved to be an integral part of our planning process, and I shudder to think what the wedding might have looked like without his guidance. He was also able to give us recommendations for other vendors at the drop of a hat, and we always felt like his recommendations were spot on. The wedding planning process was so overwhelming like me, and it was so nice to know someone like Michael Nolte, who always put me at ease. I'm sad that now the wedding is over I don't have a reason to go back to this store!

I went in about 10 minutes early for my appointment and I was not greeted right away and waited around for a while. When I was finally assisted I was told that I was early as if it was a HUGE inconvenience for them. We waited around some more for Mr. Nolte to get done sitting at his desk. While we were waiting, another customer came in and was asking questions and the attendant started yelling at her! I am not sure what they were talking about, but the attendant certainly should have kept her cool. This further delayed Mr. Nolte as the attendant had to go in to his office to vent. When we FINALLY got service, Mr. Nolte sat down to talk to us about my wedding and me... but mostly about him. I told him exactly what I was looking for and that I have tried on dresses, so I know what I want. He wanted to put me in a dress and wanted it to be a surprise, so I went along with it because I am open minded. The dress was not at all what I had told him I wanted, the exact opposite, in fact. I told him I didn't want a veil, and he just insisted that I have one and made me try one on. He kept saying, "this is what you will see in ALL the bridal magazines." When I told him that I was more of an alternative bride and the I wasn't looking for the magazine look, he seemed downright offended. Looking back on it, I am pretty sure he put me in that dress because it was the only one in the shop I would actually fit in All that being said, the store is very nice and I really liked the dressing room set-up. They also have a pretty good selection of gorgeous gowns. So if you like strong personalities, are stick thin, and are a "typical" bride then maybe this place is for you.

After searching online for a specific dress, I found it was said to be housed at Nolte's Bridal, a shop in Kansas City. Even though I am from St. Louis, I knew I would not be able to get the dress out of my head if I didn't try it on, so I called the shop to confirm they had the dress, which the associate confirmed, and set up my appointment for the following weekend, 6 days after the initial call. Upon arriving, my guest and I were not greeted at the door. We waited ten minutes for a sales associate to appear, all the while watching Mr. Nolte sit at his computer in an office off to the left. After an associate was finally found, she went straight into Mr. Nolte's office to have him come greet us, which is how I know who he is. Mr. Nolte came out to greet us and offer his assistance, only after the associate went into his office and asked him to help. Please keep in mind we were standing less than 15 feet away the entire time before this, and it was easy to see/hear us. When Nolte asked why I made the trip across the state to his store, I explained I was looking for a specific dress. The other associate immediately told me the dress was not at the store, and asked me if I called the store in advance, to be certain it was there. After explaining that I had, there were no apologies or explanations. Mr. Nolte very quickly disappeared, leaving the sales associate to deal with his problem on her own. Another associate then offered to pull dresses of similar qualities and asked what I wanted in a dress. After giving her a few style preferences, she left to pull dresses, returning five minutes later with dresses that did not meet the criteria I had just given her. After that I calmly stated I wouldn't be putting on any dresses and wanted to cancel my appointment. Again, the ladies at Nolte's did not apologize or explain. Mr. Nolte never reappeared. It is entirely inappropriate to tell someone a dress is in the store when it is not. When a mistake is made by the store, an apology should be given. If the owner is present for the mistake, it is their responsibility to rectify the situation. None of this happened. I would never recommend this store, or any of Mr. Nolte's services, to any friends or brides. Between driving there and back, plus the appointment time, I wasted 9 hours on a useless trip that could have easily been prevented if the original sales associate would have done their job and checked the racks. Beyond that, something could have been done by Mr. Nolte and his staff after they realized they'd made a mistake. This didn't happen. Do not go here.

I absolutely LOVED my wedding dress. I ended up finding one dress with a top I loved and another dress with a bottom I loved and I wanted a longer train. Michael Nolte worked with me to create a one-of-a-kind dress based on the two dresses I loved. He is truly talented and created an absolutely gorgeous veil for my big day - that I did not want to take off!

I visited several wedding dress shops prior to finding the dress of my dreams at NOLTE'S BRIDAL. The other dress shops did not listen to what I was looking for in a dress at all. I was very discouraged about the whole process until I went to Nolte's. Michael Nolte himself helped me find the perfect dress. Being 5 foot tall, I wanted a dress with a train, but didn't want to have a traditional bustle. Michael brought out a dress from the back that was absolutely what I wanted! His store is so beautiful and his staff is filled with sweet and helpful girls! When I picked up my dress a few days before the wedding, Michael was there and always happy to share stories! He even carried my dress out to my car for me - I felt like a true princess! The quality of the fabric and craftmanship of my dress is uncomparable. I received so many compliments on my dress on our wedding day! I would recommend Michael Nolte and his staff to anyone! My wedding wouldn't have been complete without him!

Stay far away from Nolte's! Michael Nolte does not care about a brides happiness or satisfaction. He gives brides a discount to write good reviews on wedding websites. Beware of this place!!! I bought my dress here and had a terrible experience with it all!

Notle's bridal was AMAZING to work with! We stopped by one afternoon only planning to look around (we had no appointment), and a consultant was kind enough to let me try a few dresses on. Sure enough - i found THE ONE!! They were great, non-pushy sales. Great experience! I used them for my bridesmaids dresses as well!

Stay away, far, far away!! They are horrible, ridiculously rude people - especially the owner!! They can seriously cause the nicest bride to become the worst bridezilla as they are so heartless and only focused on money money money. I had heard something like this before I went in but they had a designer in which my mom was interested so we decided to hold our breaths and walk in. It was horrible. The lady working there just told us the area for the designer was somewhere in the back. When we asked the general region of where it could be, she shrugged and walked away. We oh-so-wrongly asked to speak to the manager, who happened to be Nolte himself and wow. I was shocked at how rudely he treated my mother and myself. I found out he was only interested in the wealthy of this area and I'm sorry, but if I can pick up on that, I wouldn't give you the time of day even if I was made of money. SO I warn you - DO NOT enter this store unless you have and are willing to spend at least $5,000 on your dress because if not, Nolte will treat you like dirt.

Noltes was my second stop. I went there off of the recommendation of my future sister-in-law who purchased her wedding gown there. I found two wonderful dresses at Noltes and Donna and Mr. Nolte were just so pleasant to work with. I decided it was to early in the day to decide so I continued to shop at other stores. The next weekend I went back to Noltes to try on both of my favorite dresses, which were both better than ANY at the other stores and ended up purchasing my beautiful Casablanca gown. Since then I have purchased the bridesmaid dresses there and found out this is the store my cousin bought her dress at 20 years ago, my future cousin-in-law just bought her dress and her bridesmaid dresses at. The service here is far beyond any one elses. They do not stick you in some tiny room with ten dresses so you can't move, you have a suite with a place for your guests to relax as you try on their many dresses. They make you feel as if you are their only bride. Just wonderful!

My mom and I came in for a fitting last January, they put us in one of their beautiful fitting rooms. I told them the type of style I was looking for and they brought in gowns that matched my description. Finally we found two Stephen Yearick gowns that were absolutely stunning. Mike Nolte the store owner came in and specifically helped me pick out the color of the gown based on my skin tone (I'm pale and blond, so we went for a rose white color). I knew this was my gown, but we decided since this was our first stop to try some of the other stores in town. After looking around, no one else had the quality of dresses like the ones we saw at Nolte's. We did find another Stephen Yearick gown that I loved, but was not quite as special as the one at Nolte's. We decided to create a hybrid of the dress from Notle's and the other Yearick gown. We went back to Nolte's to order it and he said it would be no problem to combine the dress, he helped us even tweak our ideas to create the perfect dress. When it arrived in September, I couldn't have been more happy with the dress. I would go in for my fittings and just stare at the detail and stay way longer than my appointment. Candy, their in house seamstress was also wonderful to work with. She did an excellent job putting it all together perfectly. On my wedding day everyone said I looked like a princess. I know I couldn't have gotten there without the help from Notle's staff! You MUST stop at Nolte's for your dress! They are amazing!

I didn't set up an appointment to try dresses on- I kinda just showed up. They fortunately were able to fit me in and find dresses that were within my budget (which wasn't much). I ended up with a beautiful sample dress that just needed a few alterations.

Nolte's was the second place I went to to find my wedding gown and even though I thought they might be above my price range, my dream gown ended up being half off, which was actually BELOW my budget! Their seamstress took the dress down many sizes, and I was also able to add my own flare to it, adding a belt and changing the top from a princess to sweetheart neckline. Great service and top of the line gowns!

I got my dress at the outlet Nolte's store in KC. I received it at almost $2,000 off and I really like the lady Sunny who helped me at the store. I recommended it to my best friend and she got her dress there too!

I am an out-of-state bride who just happened to be looking around for my bridal dress while visiting my family in Kansas. After looking at a number of other stores with no luck, I decided to try Nolte's Bridal and the first dress I tried on there was "the one!" The staff was so friendly and attentive and picked out the PERFECT dress for me! The shop owner, Michael Nolte, even sat with me for some time while I debated on my gowns color (white/white or white/ivory) and I never felt rushed or uncomfortable. After buying the dress, I had my alterations done by Candy (the seamstress referred to me by Nolte's Bridal) and she did a fabulous job meeting all of my requests in just one fitting! My dress was shipped out to me for my destination wedding in Hawaii and arrived just as scheduled. I couldn't have been happier with the beautiful dress I chose and the service provided to me at Nolte's Bridal was excellent!

I loved my experience with Nolte's Bridal! They have a sale the first Saturday of the month where all their dresses drop down to $200. They even gave me a sale price earlier in the week because I was graduating the day of the sale. All of the sales ladies are so friendly and made me feel SO at home and like a queen! They have plenty of beautiful accessories as well. It was great to have Michael Nolte, the dress designer say hello and comment on the dress I chose. I am so grateful to have been able to work with a small bridal shop instead of a big corporation store.
