She has tried on some dresses when Michael Nolte came in and assessed the situation and said “I know just the right dress for you!” She tried it on and it was the perfect “bride” moment! Later when I was at the Nolte’s Briarcliff location feeling clueless, Michael just happened to be there and helped me find the perfect dress and accessories that both my daughter and I loved. Now eight years later I found myself as the bride and had let my busy job as administrator and teacher and the events and concerts I had to plan take precedent over my own wedding plans. I was panicking about my procrastination, and time was running out. I walked into Nolte’s late on a Friday very apologetic about my last-minute situation. I was treated very graciously by Emily who offered immediate help, but to my extreme good fortune, Michael Nolte was there and immediately assisted. As just as he had magically done eight years previously for my daughter, he assessed the situation and knew the perfect dress! It was exactly what I had pictured: age-appropriate, flattering and elegant! Just as I can listen to a singer or choir and know just the right repertoire for them, Michael has that unique instinct for instantly evaluating and selecting exactly what perfectly suits the individual. Very magical! And then he stood there and helped me pick exactly the venue, accessories, flowers, etc. — everything that I had delayed in making decisions on. I left the store with the weight of the world off my shoulders and the event turned out even more perfectly than I could have pictured. We even decided I could wear the shoes he had picked out eight years previously. The additional magic was that he arranged with the wonderful lady who had done alterations for my daughter to have this dress ready for me to wear in less than two weeks! Michale Nolte was such a rescue to me— his expertise in style and all things wedding- related are incomparable. I am forever grateful and would recommend Nolte’s to everyone!

Michael Nolte took the time before putting me in any dresses to really get to know me, my family, my fiancé and wedding dreams. He has such a vision and eye for all things wedding that puts you at ease. Emily Nolte was so inviting and fabulous to work with as well! They were there to help me find the perfect dress to fit me and my personality. So much so I ended up picking out the first dress I tried on!!! Michael even helped me with florals and accessories that would highlight the dress!! All of the dresses are exquisite and stand out from other dresses I've seen. I would highly recommend this place to any bride wanting a fairytale experience.

ls you services and gowns that he simply does not provide. He sold me a custom designer gown, veil and earrings for more than $7,500 and when it arrived did not allow me to have my wedding dress. He strung me along for 11 months making me believe that he would honor his word. Then, just over a month before my wedding he refused to give me the gown, of which I paid the deposit and brought the rest of the dollars to pay him in total. He had me come try on the dress, told me it was perfect and refused to allow me to have the dress without signing a non-disparagement clause over his wedding coordination services that he fraudulently sold me. At the time we purchased the dress, he sold me a full service wedding coordination package for $12,000 and did not plan the wedding. He was a horrific wedding planner, of which we terminated 90 days after hiring him because he performed no work and only pointed his finger at the bride and groom to blame them. His email communication is telling when he told the bride “if you wanted an order taker, you should hire an assistant. I do not and will not work off lists created by the bride.” We requested a refund of the money multiple times since he collected our money and did not deliver my gown and did not plan the wedding. Nolte refused to give us our money back. He even told me to my face “I am not a crook”, when in reality that is exactly what he is. We even took him to court over the issue and we were informed that he did not have the dollars to pay us so do not proceed with the case. He ripped away the wedding gown of my dreams only 41 days before the wedding, leaving me with no dress and an emotional wreck. From a bride to another bride, do not hire him or purchase a gown from him under any circumstances!

spent an hour talking to Michael, enjoying champagne, and connecting through mutual friends and family. It was such a great time that I wish we could have spent the whole day there! He was genuinely interested in our story and we even shared our engagement video and pictures. After talking Michael said, "I know THE dress for you." It was perfect. I tried on ONE dress and knew it was the one. It was incredible that Michael could talk to me and know exactly what I needed. He offered tips and tricks to wedding planning that we will definitely use in our wedding. His incredible talent and love for weddings is so special and every bride deserves the experience that Michael and his team can give. I will forever recommend this man and his impeccable taste and talent.

I couldn’t be more excited to wear it on my wedding day! Mr. Nolte not only has expertise in bridal gowns but also in the wedding planning process. I found his book to be very helpful for planning and wedding etiquette tips. You will not be disappointed in your experience at Nolte’s! Highly recommended!

Although there were some very pretty gowns none of them compared to the "experience" we had and the gowns that we saw at Nolte's Bridal. I called down to Nolte's and spoke to Mr. Nolte himself. I explained what my daughter was looking for and from my description he selected three gowns that were in the dressing room when we arrived for our appointment. The gowns were exactly what my daughter was looking for. These gowns were gorgeous and a step above anything she had tried on at any other bridal salon (and there were many). We were assisted at our appointment by both Mr. Nolte and his daughter. My daughter ended up choosing the first gown she tried on at Nolte's. Mr. Nolte also does wedding planning and gave us tips on what my daughter might choose for her bouquet that would best compliment her dress. Mr. Nolte was generous enough to sign a copy of this newly published book on event planning for us. The whole experience at Nolte's was truly amazing. Every bride deserves to have the "Say Yes to the Dress" experience that my daughter had at Nolte's Bridal. We are thankful we decided to go to Nolte's Bridal and were able to find my daughter's dream gown along with an experience she will remember for a lifetime.

What I really loved about my experience was that Mr. Nolte didn't try to upsell me, upstage me, or upgrade me. I actually had been interested in the more expensive section of the store, but was encouraged by him to check the bargains first just in case there was one I might like more! Once the dress was on, I didn’t see him again, but the assistant was very attentive to my needs, finding me veils, necklaces, and sashes, then allowed me and my party time to ourselves to talk things over. Overall, I was very impressed by my experience and would definitely recommend to a friend! I do not think this store is very friendly to a small budget, though, unless you happen to wander in for a sample sale! 😉 So if you are looking to stay on the cheap, like I was, make sure you go on the right day!

I was greeted immediately by the staff and as we were walking through some options, Mr. Nolte came out and also greeted me and my mothers. After talking with him for less than 5 minutes, he told me he had something in mind. I was whisked away to the beautiful back room to try on the exquisite gown (mind you, and others, but this one was fabulous) and sure enough, it was stunning. It was perfect for my body type and made me feel like a million bucks. I tried on others "just to be sure" and nothing else compared. I was offered vendor recommendations at the end and one of the consultants (Jennifer) was so kind to even text me vendor recommendations personally. I definitely got the VIP experience! Would recommend x1000 to my friends and future brides!
