Andy and his team at Nor'Easter provided hors d'oeurves for our backyard wedding with 114 guests. We ordered a mezze spread and multiple seafood hors d'oeuvres / raw bar. My wife and I both love to cook and typically have low expectations for wedding food but we were both blown away by the quality and inventiveness of the food served by Nor'Easter catering. The tuna tartare appetizer may be my favorite wedding appetizer I've eaten. We received numerous comments from our guests raving about the food. Andy was very responsive and easy to work with. Overall, I couldn't recommend them enough.
Nor' Eastern Catering was hands down one of our favorite vendors! From the first email exchange, not only was Andy clear and prompt in his communication, responding to every question and concern we had, but he delivered incredible Cocktail Hour appetizers to our guests who RAVED about the food as well as the people serving the food. We had discussed a couple of alternatives but finally landed on a Raw Bar consisting of lobster rolls, octopus (my favorite!) served on crisps and oysters. I (bride) am allergic to lobster and a celiac, and Andy was able to ensure no cross contamination, and sourced gluten free crisps for me! Their setup looked really beautiful, was clean and always presentable, with speedy and efficient service. Additionally, our guests spoke highly of Andy and his team, complimenting us on their service and how pleasant they were. Andy remembered my love of octopus and left a plate for me on our sweetheart table, which was so appreciated cause no one had remembered except for him. We got to catch him at the end of Cocktail Hour as we were taking photos, and even after everyone devoured everything, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the Raw Bar. Another thing we really appreciated is how understanding Andy was about the hectic-ness of the day, and told us not to worry about finalizing our contract then, allowing us to pay him a few days after the wedding once the dust settled. That was so kind, and allowed us to go straight into our reception not worrying about tracking down our checkbooks! All in all, I have nothing but positive reviews to offer, and can guarantee anyone considered Nor' Eastern Catering will be extremely pleased with their service, and the entire experience. Andy, thank you for being a part of our wedding, feeding us and our guests such amazing goods, and being such a pleasure to work with!
