When I returned back from my engagement moon, I was ready to start to wedding dress shopping experience again. I had gone to several other different stores but my experience at the KOP Nordstrom Suite was the best one yet! My mother, sister, and mother-in-law went to the suite and Sandy was so kind to them and me. Sandy also made the whole process seamless! From easy transitions of one dress to another and even getting to know you during the whole process. She was very honest but also gave you space to sort out your thoughts about the dresses I was trying on. When I found the one, it was honestly an experience I'll never forget. THANK YOU SANDY for being part of my wedding journey and I can't wait to walk down the aisle to marry the man of my answered prayers. When it's your moment to choose your wedding dress I hope you have Sandy on your corner!
I went to Nordstrom wedding suite for the convience on location. they have limit amount of dresses and I was not all to please with my stylist and I was scares from that experience. I believe the word were petite and chunky, regardless the service isn't great. I would look elsewhere.
Cheryl was fantastic! She was so helpful. My daughter and I remembered Nordstrom had a bridal suite and decided to stop by to look because we didn’t have an appointment. I had been to several other shops but found nothing I liked. Cheryl was about to leave for the evening but stayed to help us. We pulled 4 dresses and the 4th one was the dress. There was a 3 month lead time and she made that work as well. Professional, kind, and responsive. I would highly recommend this bridal suite. Cheryl’s advice and suggestions were spot on and the gowns and staff were amazing as well.
After trying the cute little bridal boutiques and finding absolutely nothing, I started calling around to see if I could find someone who had a sample Lazaro dress, #3652 as I felt it could be the one. Since it was from a collection from several years ago, I was so nervous, but the Nordstrom Wedding Suite at King of Prussia found one! After trying it on, that was it, and the amazing people at the Wedding Suite took care of the rest. They then helped me find the perfection hair accessories, and the most gorgeous veil that seemed to have been made just for my dress. They were never pushy, only patient and kind, with a killer fashion sense and eye for creating the perfect look for my wedding day.
And last but not least, I need to talk about LiuBov, the angel of a woman from alterations who made my complicated Chantilly lace dress fit like a glove. She exceeded my expectations... I'm not really sure I can describe how perfect this dress fit. I've never felt more beautiful in my whole life, and LiuBov made that possible. Get your dress at the Nordstrom Wedding Suite at King of Prussia and request LiuBov! Your wedding dress will be absolutely perfect.
After shopping at a ton of bridal boutiques I finally made an appointment at Nordstrom's wedding suite. I got the chance to work with Sandy who was an absolute dream. She let me pick out as many dresses as I wanted (a lot of salons will only let you take 2-3 at a time) and just made me feel wonderful. After getting the dress, the process couldn't be easier. I did all of my fittings in the store, after work hours, so I didn't have to take time off, and just picked up my dress yesterday. I cannot write enough good things about the Nordstrom team, and Sandy especially. She was responsive and made everything so easy!
We have always been a Nordstrom family, so it only seemed fitting to look for a wedding gown at my favorite store! Luckily, the KOP Wedding Suite had a trunk show for my favorite bridal designer, Rosa Clara, and I fell in love with a dress. The process was timely and seamless- if my main consultant was not available for each fitting, another team member took over easily. I love that I was able to get the alterations done there as well. Liuba is very talented and swiftly accommodated some last minute changes to my alterations that I requested. I had a great experience!
I didn't even make it to the appointment- I cancelled several weeks beforehand because it was made clear through the several email exchanges I had with Sandy that I was not welcome at this bridal suite.
I am shopping late for my wedding (my appointment was set for August 2nd, and my wedding day is December 13th) so I knew there would be few options for me to buy and have altered in time. I was still willing to try because of all the glowing reviews I read on this site. I was hoping the Nordstrom Suite would accommodate my time constraints and help me find The Dress.
That was not the experience I was given. I gave my wedding date in my original request for the appointment, in the first email with Sandy, and again in another email and in her final email she was still under the impression my wedding date was December 31st and asking me to clarify if my wedding was in 2019 or 2020. She asked my my budget (between $1500 and $2000) THREE TIMES which felt insulting and insinuated I was not their ideal clientele. And finally, which was the final straw, they moved my appointment date from Augudt 2nd to August 9th. My mother is coming to stay with me August 1st to the 3rd so she can experience wedding dress shopping with me - something every bride can agree is a Big Deal, but apparently is something Nordstrom's doesnt care about.
I will make sure every one of my friends who is getting married in the upcoming years DOES NOT shop here, and will ensure they tell their friends as well.
I had the pleasure of working with Sandy at the Nordstrom Bridal Suite. Definitely ask for her if you go!! Sandy was there for me from start to finish. I walked in to the bridal suite knowing in mind the specific Lazaro gown I wanted but willing to try others on that were more affordable. Sandy did all she could to help me find a gown that was in my desired price range but I ended up getting the Lazaro gown I had been dreaming of. Sandy did not pressure me to get the more expensive gown at all and made sure I knew the exact price before she even helped me put it on. Sandy was in constant contact with me through the ordering process and called me straight away when my gown came in. She could not have been more attentive during all of the fittings and pleasantly answered all of my burning bridal gown questions even when I emailed her at 11 at night. She made sure to give us a price range of what alterations would cost for my dress as well, which was extremely helpful for the budgeting process. In addition, Muoy, the seamstress was phenomenal. My strapless gown did not budge on the wedding day, through photos and all the dancing. Everyone complemented me on how well my dress fit. As for the wedding suite itself, I found the gown selection to be wonderful. The selection of gowns is a bit higher end, so just be prepared for a bit of a higher price point but nothing extravagant. I went in looking for a specific Lazaro gown and Nordstrom had it right there for me. All in all, I would definitely recommend the Nordstrom Wedding Suite. For me, it had a very intimate feel, which was something I was looking for in a bridal shop. And definitely request Sandy as your consultant!
I went to Nordstrom wedding suite in King of Prussia and had nothing but good experiences at my visits! They were attentive and never made me feel rushed. They made sure my dress was perfect and gave me detailed information on storing my wedding dress prior to the wedding since I will be travelling internationally with the dress. I would 100% recommend others here. They have a lovely dress selection and the staff were extremely helpful and caring.
Today Sam helped me find the wedding dress I’ve dreamt of ever since I was a little girl. They were able to order a sample of the Lazaro dress I had my eye on and did my measurements right in the bridal suite. They laid out a timeline of when the dress would come in and when we would start alterations. Sam made me so comfortable and truly created a magical moment for my mother and I. Do yourself a favor and get your dress here! Ask for Sam!!
I am normally a Nordstrom fan girl, but working with the Wedding Suite was next level. I found my dress at the Garden State Plaza location but had all my alterations done at King of Prussia. I was really happy I could reserve certain dresses (even shipping them in) that I wanted to try on. Everyone was so accommodating and gave great suggestions through the whole process. My alterations were somewhat extensive and came out beautifully. All of our guests loved the dress (BLISS Monique Lhullier) and how unique it was. So happy I went to Nordstrom. Just a heads up, the fitting room area is pretty small, so it may be preferable to bring fewer people with you to try on!
Samantha and Sandy at the Nordstrom Wedding Suite KOP were wonderful! I did not expect to get my dress from Nordstrom when I first started looking. They took care of everything for my gown and my bridesmaid dresses. Sandy even ordered two sizes of my bridesmaid dress for one of the girls because she was in between sizes and wanted to make sure she got a dress that fit her. They allowed me to use Nordstrom card alteration credit for my gown alterations even though I had the dress altered at the designer instead of Nordstrom. I cannot say enough good things about them and the experience I had at Nordstrom!
I was SO disappointed with my experience here. I was at an appointment earlier in the day, and the stylist was helpful with getting me in and out of dresses, suggesting shoes and accessories. I could not have had a different experience at Nordstrom, which I had higher expectations. The stylist at Nordstrom gave me dresses, threw me in a dressing roomd otherwise did not give me the time of day. My appointment was for 90 minutes but I left after 15 minutes. My perception was the stylist did not even want me to purchase a dress here.
Ask for Samantha Barth. She runs the department. She is incredibly sweet, genuine, and the least aggressive help you will ever have. Her willingness to understand your needs without pushing anything including a sale on you is refreshing. It was the best experience I could ask for. She has 20 years of experience in this industry and knows how to make it a wonderful experience.
The KOP Wedding Suite was fabulous. I went there for a bridesmaid dress and the staff was fun, professional, and honest. I had an issue with my dress that required a rush order and my stylist was wonderful. She kept me updated on the order status and provided options with alterations in case it didn't come out as I hoped. She kept me calm in what could have been a disaster. I highly recommend going there for any special event and would 100% suggest you go with Vanessa Lopez. She's wonderful and I will absolutely return with future business.
I had an absolutely awful experience at Nordstrom with Sandy. She was the worst consultant I dealt with throughout my entire wedding dress shopping. She was rude and short with us. I asked (beforehand and on the day of my appointment) for a specific style and Sandy immediately shot me down and said such a style was just not really a thing - I had tried on 10 different dresses in that exact style the day before. Sadly I felt unwelcome and pushed out. At the end of the day she was rude, disrespectful and ruined what is a fun time for a bride.
I had a really great experience at the Nordstrom wedding suite. Dina was my consultant, but I also worked closely with Samantha and some of the other consultants. They all seemed so genuine and nice, which isn't the case at a lot of the salons I visited. Nordstrom carried Rosa Clara which was my number one brand I wanted. I fell in love with a Rosa Clara dress that ended up coming in a mediocre quality at best. I was very disappointed but Nordstrom worked directly with the brand to fix everything. They made my dream dress a reality and were amazing through the entire stressful process! I also felt SO comfortable with the two seamstresses I met. Luiba is extremely talented. I would highly recommend buying a dress here!
I made an appointment online and called to confirm because you never know with the interweb. Dinah answered and said, no we dont have it in the system but I can have you come in at 1130am (my original time slot) and we'll work with you. An hour or so later she had one of her lackys call and say, oh no sorry we really can't can you come on Saturday instead. Unfortunately, I'm flying out back to London where I live permanently. I had hoped to check out some gowns locally with my mother so she could have that experience but alas the wedding suite here does not know how to run a professional shop. I'll be heading to a few Paris ateliers where I expect the treatment to be far superior.
Jacqueline at the wedding suite was absolutely wonderful. I visited the wedding suite 3 different times in search of a dress and Jacqueline was so patient throughout the entire process and ended helping me find the perfect dress. I thought I knew what I wanted in a dress, but was getting no where. Jacqueline noticed this and gently guided me in a completely different style direction, which turned out better than I could have ever hoped.
I loved the Nordstrom Wedding Suite from start to finish! Sam is so sweet and kind, and the warmth in her leadership shows with every stylist and staff member. Everyone was helpful and great through the whole process. I had a very specific vision of what I thought I would want in a dress when I had an appointment with Sam, and felt stuck when those dresses weren't working. Sam pulled a silk Caroline DeVillo dress for me that was different than what I said I wanted, and as soon as I put it on, I didn't want to take it off (which I think is a hallmark of The Dress). It flattered me beautifully, and Caroline DeVillo's collection is unique in that you can customize the skirt and bodice of the dress to whatever you would like it to be. Sam was so supportive in styling the dress, and knew exactly which changes to make (making the bodice petite, opening the bust, etc) to make the dress basically ready-to-wear when it arrived (which it was, I needed very limited alterations). Sam felt like my stylish older sister who wanted nothing more for me than to be beautiful on my wedding day, and I am elated to say that I was.
I was in town to go dress shopping with my mom for the weekend and after 6 shops downtown was disappointed that we did not find our dress AND we had a VERY bad experience at Philly Bride, which was very upsetting. On a whim, I called Nordstrom to see if they could fit me in. They said swing by and we'll see what we can do. I am SO happy we did. We were greeted by Adrienne, who was so kind and helpful. She gave me honest opinions and actually heard what I like and don't like. I hadn't thought of going to Nordstrom but am so happy I did. Thank you, Adrienne for all of you amazing help and positive energy.
Nordstrom was my mom and i's first visit for dress shopping. Jackie was very helpful in listening to what I had envisioned. I fell in love with the 4th or 5th dress I tried on, but we had one more appointment at the wedding Shoppe in Wayne (I do not recommend going there unless you live and breathe the main line). We ended up heading back to KOP to purchase the dress. Jackie let us know when the dress arrived so we could come see it. 4 fittings followed which were easy and reassuring. The seamstresses are very knowledgeable. I would say the only reason I am not 5 stars was a result of the day I picked up my dress. Jackie was busy with what seemed like a vendor (not a client). Prior to this, she assured us she would provide the dress and walk out to the car with us but instead we were helped by someone who was frankly a bit patronizing (telling us how to steam the dress since it was bustled and ended up being wrinkled). It kind of left a bad taste in our mouths, but overall, a pleasant experience.
Also, what Jackie did not tell us was that if you sign up for a Nordstrom credit card, the purchase of your dress will obviously bank some great rewards points and I think we were told alterations would basically be free. A woman upstairs in lingerie told us this (too late).
I had a wonderful experience working with Samantha at the KOP Nordstrom bridal suite. She was sweet, patient, easy going and super helpful when shopping for bridesmaids dresses. We even had to make some last minute changes to our dresses only a few months before the wedding and she made the process easy and stress free. All of my girls absolutely love the dresses and enjoyed their communication with her as well. Highly recommend and ask for Samantha! Thanks for your helpfulness and amazing customer support!
for bridal suite.
I've been to many different bridal shops for myself and for friends and I have to say that my friends and I both agree that this was by far the worst bridal shop we went to. The older brunette women sales representative with shoulder length hair was extremely unprofessional. When we walked in she immediately seemed bothered to even have us there even though I made an appointment days in advance. She then checked us out, very obviously, for a long time which made us all very uncomfortable. When she asked what style bridesmaid dresses I would like her to pull I said long beaded or sequin dresses. Her face became instantly disgusted as she responded, "Oh no you do not want any beading or sequin because that would just take away from you as the bride. Plus we do not have any bridesmaid dresses like that." I was shocked she said this! Not only did she make me feel bad for the style I wanted but Nordstrom has a ton of big fashion designers that show numerous sequin and/or beaded bridesmaid dresses online. With some persistnace from my bridesmaids and after I showed her some pictures on the Nordstrom website she broke down and pulled some sequin/beaded dresses for us. This type of banter continued during our entire appointment, where we needed to convince her to pull dresses for us. It was terrible! I've never had a sale representative so hard to work with. The girls and I decided to go with a beaded Adrianna Papell dress that we are ordering from another department store instead of Nordstrom because of this sales representative being so unprofessional.
The consultant here was so rude. This was the first place I went to try on wedding dresses. She completely ruined the experience for me. She was disinterested in the dresses and was very cold during the entire appointment to the point where I ended the appointment early. This place needs better staff. Also it was much smaller than I was expecting given the size of the mall.
I had purchased my gown at the King of Prussia Nordstrom. My wedding gown itself was breathtaking however, my bustle broke before I even left my hotel for my ceremony. After all the money my mother and I had spent I was very disappointed. My mom could sew it back together but it didn't last long at all. By my cocktail hour my bustle was completely undone. Safety pins wouldn't hold it and the sewing kit was useless because the dress was so heavy. My first dance with my husband I was so concerned about having to dance with a long train that I couldn't even enjoy myself. I was very disappointed especially the amount of money we had spent not only for the dress itself but the alterations as well. I am still stunned that this even happened so early in my evening and I had to go through this aggravation on my wedding day. I was forced to hold my train the entire night. We had thought if we got it altered at Nordstrom we wouldn't have any problems so I was a very disappointed customer. I emailed them directly to let them know my concerns but it was just so disappointing with the amount of money we had put in the alterations.
Ok, let me start by saying that I actually really love this Nordstrom. The store is great, and everyone we worked with was very pleasant, and they had a great price on the Jenny Yoo Annabelle dress, which is why I decided to get bridesmaid dresses here.
I'm giving them a 1 star review because almost every one of my bridesmaids had some sort of major issue with them and it ended up being a very stressful thing to deal with. One of my bridesmaids was given a dress bigger than what she was sized for and she had to return and reorder herself (which took a long time!), another bridesmaid apparently wasn't measured on her hips (she has a very pear shaped figure) and didn't fit into the dress they measured her for, so she had to spend a lot to get it altered to fit, and she still didn't feel very comfortable in it the day of. Another bridesmaid's card declined, and she was never informed about it, so she thought her dress was on the way for a couple months before she found out that they never even ordered it. It came just in time thankfully. Another bridesmaid was pregnant at the time of the dress buying, and was told to wait as long as possible and come back at her most pregnant point to be measured ( 2 months before the wedding). When she went back to be measured and order, she was told that the dress was on back order, and hopefully she would get it maybe a couple weeks before the wedding, and when it did come in (she had already had the baby) it was ENORMOUS on her. Since the size was so wrong she went back in store to have it altered there. Keep in mind this is VERY close to the wedding day, and she has a newborn baby to deal with... So she goes back to pick up her dress, and the only thing they did was hem the length... She was having a meltdown, already stressed with being a new mom and bringing her newborn out far from home, this being her second trip doing so for this dress, and they told her she would have to come back a third time two days before the wedding to pick it up correctly altered, without any compensation for the trouble. I ended up feeling pretty bad for my girls after all of it, and I regret going there for their dresses. It was pretty stressful for all but two of them, and it wasn't my intention to stress them out. Paying for a dress is enough of a pain, I'm bummed that it caused them other problems :(
I absolutely loved working with Jacqueline and Ala at the Nordstrom Wedding Suite to get my dress! Each time I came for a fitting Jacqueline greeted me warmly by name, and I could tell she was genuinely excited for me. I came to most fittings alone because the majority of my family and friends are out of state, and Jacqueline and Ala were such a big help through the process. I can be indecisive and worrisome, but they completely put me at ease, and the alterations were absolutely perfect! I was actually a little sad picking up my dress after my last fitting since it had been such a wonderful experience. Overall it was a great experience, and I highly recommend paying them a visit when dress shopping (and request Jacqueline!).
My daughter knew that she liked Haley Paige's wedding dresses and we knew that Nordstrom's carried this designer's dresses. She choose the London Dress and from the minute she tried on the dress knew this was the one!! She said it made her feel like a princess! We ordered the dress and left excited that she found "THE" dress. That was September and in January we received a call that her dress was in. They told us we could come in and try it on yet they would wait for alterations till June since her wedding was the 27th of August. We decided to go in to try her dress on at the end of March. She was so excited, tried the dress on and I could tell from the look on her face that something wasn't right. She said to me "Mom this isn't the dress I ordered!! It looked different, there was virtually no back to the dress and I knew there was on the sample we tried. It was so tight and the workmanship of the stitching and the zipper was terrible. It wasn't an invisible zipper and the material they had to cover the zipper didn't reach across! My daughter and I left making the appts for altering the dress in late May. My daughter was in school and busy and I went away for a few weeks and we both couldn't get it out of our heads how different the dress felt and looked. When I returned I called and asked for the manager to meet with us and try the dress on. We meet with Samantha and she listened to my daughter's concerns and the fact that this was NOT the dress she ordered and it felt different. I shared that the zipper was not up to par for a designer dress. Samantha brought in the sample we tried on and compared the dresses! Yes the sample was different ! There was an invisible zipper and the back was much lower than the sample. Once Samantha contacted the people at Hayley Paige they informed her that they had changed the design of the dress from the time we ordered it to January! They didn't send Nordstrom's a sample of the new design! Samantha knew Brie was very upset. She checked and we couldn't get another dress in time so she went above and beyond to help Brienne with alterations to get the dress she originally fell in love with !!She and OLA from her alteration team were absolutely wonderful to pull this off for us!! I can not say enough wonderful things about Samantha and her team!! Her concern was for my daughter's happiness and we were thrilled with the outcome! I would recommend Nordstrom's and especially Samantha and Ola to anyone who wants to be in the hands of true professionals who care that the customer is absolutely thrilled with their dress!
First of all, the selection of gowns at the Nordstrom Wedding Suite is to die for... I love my gown, and never second guessed my decision-- but by the time my wedding day came, there were about 6 more dresses in there that I was dying to try on! My gown was the first wedding dress that caught my eye. We saved it for last to try on, because I knew it would be the one. My matron of honor and I went to "the mall" just to start the process of wedding dress shopping... not really thinking we would end up finding my perfect gown within 30 seconds of looking. I wanted my mom to be there when I made the decision to say "yes to the dress," so we made an appointment at a traditional bridal salon for the next time she would be in town. Compared to Adrienne at Nordstrom, the person at the other place was not as helpful, personable, or accommodating, and did not make me feel like a truly special bride. I tried on 'Elysia,' to show my mom, but we went back to Nordstrom to purchase because I just felt more taken care of there. From that first day to my last fitting, Adrienne was there, making sure everything was perfect. We had some trouble with the arms of the gown fitting just right, but the seamstress team went out of their way to order additional fabric from Hayley Paige and worked their magic to make sure the gown fit me like a glove. I cannot thank this team enough for not only ensuring my gown was perfect but for making me feel so special. Bonus! When you have to go for fittings, you're at the mall already! So I was able to look for shoes ($300 shoes-- free-- with nordstrom points!), perfume, gifts, etc.without having to take multiple trips-- made things so much easier!
The bridal suite team at Nordstrom made the process easy! They were happy to be there and very willing to help. I would recommend going to look at dresses when they are having a trunk show as the selection is not extensive.
