From the ceremony space to the reception area, we could tell the owner puts lots of time and effort to keeping the place clean and looking pretty. The property is gorgeous and well-maintained. It offers a beautiful backdrop for both the ceremony and reception. We also loved the flexibility they offer. With many wonderful décor options available and the freedom to arrange tables and decorations as we envisioned, we were truly able to make the space our own. The staff was kind and attentive throughout the entire experience. You can tell they truly care about the couples who get married there and take pride in making each wedding special. Their professionalism and warmth made such a difference. If you’re looking for a venue that is not only beautiful but also incredibly well run by thoughtful, organized people, we cannot recommend North Star Farms highly enough!

ut. One was the property itself, well taken care of and manicured and so many trees. Probably the biggest draw was the owners, Rebecca and her husband Scott. We felt, from the time we stepped out of our vehicle and Rebecca introduced herself, this was our place. She was so welcoming, and excited to show us around the venue, while giving us the run down on what was included, she also asked about our vision, and had Suggestions as to how that could be incorporated into the venue. We toured a few other places and those just didn't compare, making our decision easy. We loved the fact that they are owner operated, and the owners actually work with and communicated with us through the whole process from beginning to end. They we're very organized, with lists of highly recommended vendors, and time lines for our wedding day. Another thing we liked was they have separate suites for the bridal party, not just 2 small spaces, but a house for my Bride & her bridesmaids and a dairy barn for myself and my guys. Both have air conditioning. 5 stars on guys space itself. Their reception building is so cool, no other place has the lighting they do, which sets the vibe. A reception dance there is a show stopper alone, our guests loved it and never stopped dancing. I must say I'm not sure there is another wedding venue that has anything like they have. You can tell Rebecca and Scott, along with their staff, put their hearts and soul into everything they do there. They have thought of everything. If you are getting married and are looking for a venue, this is a must tour venue. Your search may be over after you visit North Star Farm.

he whole process, she was so much help in answering any questions we had lowering the stress level. Loved that the venue has both a bridal suite(the farmhouse) and a grooms suite(in the dairy barn). I must say from my own experience, the grooms suite is really cool. Our parents kept commenting on how organized everything turned out. Thanks to Rebecca, she didn’t miss a thing. We loved the fact they had decor to use, so we didn’t have to bring any of our own, other than some engagement photos. Oh yeah, I cannot forget about the lighting there, both inside and out. It feels like a different place once the day turns to night, it’s magical. Outside Edison string lights all around. Warm patio lighting and a fire pit. Inside the Uplighting, which is included, that matched our colors too. One of the coolest things that sets this venue apart from all the others we toured was that they have their own dance floor lighting. If you choose one of their recommended DJs, those DJs get full access and control of lighting. Its pretty impressive and I highly recommend going in this direction. Their catering options made it hard to choose just one, but we managed to do so. Their ceremony area is shaded, and all the building on the property have AC including the reception barn! All are musts for a July wedding. Long story short - We cannot say enough about North Star Farm, Rebecca & Scott, and all their staff. If we had to do it again we wouldn’t change a thing about our day or the venue. They were our number one choice! Highly recommend!

Rebecca was worth every penny being our Day Of Coordinator. She helps you plan your whole day, and any problems that arrived are solved quickly. All the prices were upfront with no surprise fees. If you are looking for a place to have an outdoor wedding, look no further!

Everything was set up exactly as we had discussed and again Scott and Rebecca were there every step of the way with a smile on their face. We could not have asked for a better wedding day and Scott & Rebecca were a huge part of this! We Could not recommend North Star more to anyone looking for a wedding venue! North Star had absolutely everything we were looking for - Bridal Suite, Grooms getting ready area, barn reception, gorgeous outdoor ceremony space, a beautiful covered patio for the bar & social hour and close to hotels for our guests.

the true star is the property. You don't even really NEED decorations, because the natural state of the place is breathtaking enough. Even our guests have been gushing about the ambiance. On top of all of that, the owners are also beautifully organized and well prepared to make your day go smoothly! I'm telling you - use this venue and you will NOT be sorry!!!

Being able to rent the farmhouse that is onsite allowed my husband and I to not worry about where we would stay or transportation, we simply strolled over to the lovely farmhouse and stumbled into a very comfortable bed. The farmhouse was available for the bridal party to get ready day of, and the groomsmen used the dairy barn. It was so nice to have everyone get ready onsite, it cut down on so many unpredictable scenarios. The farmhouse was so spacious we had 11+ women in there and there was plenty of room to sit, chat, snack, and have our hair and makeup done. We didn’t even need to worry about weather because the venue owners had so many contingency plans and a large covered area that our ceremony could have gone ahead in a variety of comfortable spaces. I was planning this wedding from a different state and the venue owners, Rebecca and Scott, were so flexible when it came to letting me visit the venue whenever I was in town. They were incredibly responsive communication wise and made the long-distance planning even easier because they offered so many extra décor options. I was able to pick and choose exactly what I wanted for the majority of the décor we needed. Our wedding was stunning because of the location at North Star Farms and we will never forget of easy they made this for us!

I were married on June 4, 2021, at North Star Farm Event Center. We loved this venue so much because of the venue owners, Rebecca and Scott, and their day-of, Taylor. They all stepped in and helped in areas needed and were fantastic and crucial in making our day flow. North Star is a beautiful barn venue located in Le Sueur, MN with tons of open space and gorgeous barns. What made North Star stand out to us was what was offered in our payment. They have a plethora of decor that couples can choose from to borrow, they allow any vendor (even though they do provide a preferred vendor list), they have great options for getting-ready rooms, backup ceremony plans, etc. In fact, I could text Rebecca when I had questions or worries and she would get back to me as soon as she could to help me process and plan. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a rustic, elegant barn wedding, and to anyone looking to have a great venue experience and relationship!

how we wanted our wedding for close to 13 years and I couldn't imagine having it anywhere else! The trees make for a magical outdoor ceremony, the barns are beautiful, the guest house has the perfect "grandmas house" feel and the things they have available to use are amazing. From decor to yard games they will make sure your day and night are smooth and perfect. You will not be disappointed in this venue!!

I tell you that I literally didn’t touch a thing when it came to decor. (Aside from decorations we added to give it our touch.) The lighting is perfect for the adorable rustic wedding photos, they allow you to take photos with sparklers, and there is even use of a fire pit. The bridal suite is flawless, and I spent most of my morning, getting ready with my closest girls there. I am not exaggerating at all when I say that I continue to recommend this place. It really is worth it.

f a winery. We just love the set up of all the buildings. The groom and groomsmen will be getting ready in the milk barn and the ladies get the entire farmhouse for our bridal suite area -- they even have a hair room in the house. When we toured it was later in the day and we got to see the gorgeous sunset and then all the lights that are elegantly strung and then hung on a few buildings (and the new patio area by the reception barn). We cannot wait to have our wedding next year!!

with all the uncertainty with Covid -19, North Star Farm stayed in constant communication with us. They worked with local and state government and fought to get the venue open for our June 13 wedding. THANK YOU NORTH STAR FARM! The great experience started with two outstanding people, Rebecca and Scott. Our daughter lives in Minnesota, but we live out of state. Rebecca patiently walked us through the rental process and gave us a ton of local contacts to make sure we had all that we needed for the big day. On the day of the wedding Rebecca helped coordinate everyone from the bridal party to the florist to the DJ to the bartenders. The entire day she and her team were available and attentive to all our needs with a pleasant and helpful attitude the entire time. She took care of the big things, but every little detail as well. We love you Rebecca! Scott prefers to stay behind the scenes, but was constantly working to make every detail of the farm just right. When we arrived the grounds of the venue were immaculate.(The pictures you see online don't do it justice!) He worked with us throughout the wedding day to make sure every detail from service seating to catering set-up to bar needs to the sparkler send-off went off without a hitch. He made it clear that if we had any need he would do anything in his power to make sure we got what we needed. Scott, you are the best! A few things that really stood out about the venue: Easy access off of Highway 169 Ample parking Classic farm house for bridal party to get ready Rustic Barn for groomsmen to dress and get ready Shaded, tree-covered service area with plenty of seating Comfortable and covered bar and cocktail area Tasteful dining area with special touches and accent lighting Yard games, fire pit and room to take a stroll and watch the sun set Local alcohol and food services save you a TON of money Countless cute places for photo opportunities Helpful and attentive staff working as a team If you want a country wedding with people who make you feel like family in a venue that is both intimate, beautiful and spacious – you want to go to North Star Farm Event Center. We loved them, and we think you will to.
