We absolutely LOVED this venue. It was so elegant and reasonably priced. We had the most wonderful experience with the staff throughout the entire time of planning! Great communication and wonderful flexibility. They worked with us on so many things other venues would not. They are amazing and we would absolutely recommend!

We're do I start. We had our wedding here and we are so happy we picked this place. Not only was it budget friendly but the staff were amazing! They were so easy to more with and made our day so special. It rained the day of our wedding but with the big arch way in the entrance our pictures still turned out amazing. We are able to request specific bottles of liquor if we wanted and we had so much flexibility.

The staff at Northern Lights was very accommodating and easy to work with. They were informative and had many different options of food/desserts and floor plans to make it unique to you. This venue is so beautiful on its own, it’s not hard to dress it up and make it special to you. I would recommend this venue to anyone!

Northern Lights Ballroom and Catering made getting married a stress free experience. When ever we had a question they were there to answer in a timely matter. They told us not to worry about anything and they took care of everything. They sure did and we will forever be grateful to them. They were professional, they were helpful, they were all of the above. The wedding turned out to be everything we could have dreamed it could be and more. Thank you so much!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience from day one! I went in there right away telling them about what disappointments I had when touring and speaking with other establishments and how poor they were with their communication and return calls and emails and Northern Lights was the complete opposite. Every time I asked her something she was back with the answer in an email that day or the next day. She always had the information I wanted and valuable information she thought I might want. Their professionalism was excellent and they were very kind, patient and polite with me. One thing that meant a lot to me was when I initially signed I mentioned that wedding planning was not something I was not real excited about doing because both my parents were deceased and I didn't really want a big wedding but my fiancée wanted it so I was going along with it for him. She told me she would help make it fun and she did help a lot and was very sensitive to that along the way which meant so much. They are very detail oriented in the planning and keep checking on items that need to be done without hounding you. The venue is beautiful and well kept for a reasonable price. The food was excellent. We received rave reviews. Our guests told us it was some of the best wedding food they have ever had. Especially the roast beef which is usually dry! The day of wedding planner was very helpful and receptive to our needs. She was very easy to find if we needed her which was very little. She was usually looking for us to ask if we were ok or needed anything. The servers and barstaff were friendly and polite. I have not one complaint about this place. We both said that. Not that we were looking for one but we couldn't find one in the overall experience. Topnotch!

Everyone associated with this vendor was wonderful. Our voices were heard as to what we wanted and needed. As an older bride I did make changes from the original plan and they accommodated them all with some even better suggestions. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The food was delicious, and the wine selections were amazing. My guests seemed to enjoy the informal setup we had, not having to leave the room after the ceremony. The countryside ride out to the venue for a fall wedding was beautiful, with the changing of the leaves on the trees. They can also accommodate country outside ceremonies. I would highly recommend them no matter what time of year.

Loved working with this venue and their employees. They made our Wedding Day run smoothly along with all the questions and meetings leading up to Our Wedding Day. Very accommodating to our needs and wants. We were able to have them do our food, cake, rent centerpieces and other items from them, plus they had a decorator we could hire (very inexpensive) and clean up was quick and easy. Very beautiful venue and the food was excellent. Lots of great feedback from our guests on all of it.

Northern Lights was incredibly professional and overly accommodating! We found this to be true from the beginning planning stages up through our big day, they were SO HELPFUL! The venue is inviting and beautifully decorated, requiring less from the couple to decorate. This was a huge bonus for us! Also a bonus, there are so many areas to take great pictures! Literally, not a single bad spot for pictures at this venue! Through Northern Lights, we were able to find affordable vendors and we got great value for our money, on the food and drinks. Our day of coordinator was fabulous! They made the entire process seamless and honestly, way less stressful than I ever expected. We recommend this team of professionals to all of our family and friends as our experience was so wonderful. Our family and friends continue to talk about what a nice wedding we had and how the food was top notch! I'm excited to share that this was truly the best day ever, and Northern Lights is to thank. Very beautiful venue, catered to our needs. Email communication was good, bryony was very helpful.

We just had our wedding reception there last weekend and the food and the service were outstanding, from the kitchen staff to the bartender, to the on-site coordinator. The staff was very professional and kept us in the loop on everything. When planning our event the owners were on top of it and were prompt in their communications with us and answered any questions we had ahead of time and allowed us to make last minute changes. Very nice venue, I would highly recommend!

We LOVED having our wedding at Northern Lights! They were prompt to answer questions and were so helpful in the planning process. During set up they were very flexible as we changed things around and made set up a breeze! And the food- our wedding was a month ago and people are still raving about the food! I can not recommend Northern Lights enough! :)

We got married during the pandemic and didn't have a reception. We celebrated our two year anniversary at Northern Lights Ballroom and were VERY pleased with the service. Throughout the year they were helpful with any questions we had and were very quick with responding. We only had a third of our guest list show up. The owners honored our down payment by upgrading us to their "Platinum Experience". They were helpful in finding vendors we needed. They even let us come in a day early to decorate. We chose Northern Lights Ballroom because they are a family owned and operated business, and they treated us like family!

Our rehersal dinner went exactly as planned. The food, beverages, decorations, and table arrangements were exactly what we had asked for. The food was very good along with the very polite servers. The location was perfect for our guests. There were no hidden costs or fee's that we did not discuss, everying was professionally spelled out on a contract.

Words cannot do justice for how blown away and how incredibly grateful we are that we had our wedding at Northern Lights!! Wow! It’s hard to even know where to begin! Bryony, Wendy, and all of the Northern Lights team including the event coordinators, chefs, servers, and bartenders are absolutely WONDERFUL to work with!!! Everyone was so nice, caring, and helpful throughout the entire process from booking the venue through the day of our wedding! If you book your wedding at Northern Lights, you are truly supporting such an amazing group of people!! We had so many guests compliment on how incredibly nice everyone was as well!! The venue is absolutely GORGEOUS and spacious, the food is INCREDIBLE (and I mean incredible!!), parking is plentiful, and the venue is so easy to find and see right off Hwy. 169! We have received SO many compliments from our family and friends about the venue and the amazing food!! We had the Italian buffet the night before our wedding, and the Royal Buffet (with carved roast beef and white wine chicken as the main courses) and full dessert bar at our wedding reception, and it was all SO delicious!! We had several guests tell us it was one of the best meals they’ve ever had in their life, and we totally agree!! On top of all that, their prices are incredibly reasonable (especially for the level of service that they provide)! The staff at the Northern Lights Ballroom are phenomenal! They went above and beyond for us and the entire staff are extraordinary to work with and will make you feel extra special on your big day. The food is delicious and the flexibility of their menu is unbeatable, and all for the best prices! Everyone was so great to work with, and so professional. I loved having my wedding here-- it was the perfect day!

Had our 57 class reunion here. From booking the event to the event, can't say enough positive feedback about working with Byrony and her staff. Very helpful and the meal and service the day of our gathering was excellent.

Bryony and her mom were so awesome to work with. From the moment I first inquired, to the last day, Bryony was very communicative and always one step ahead of me. We were able to decorate the day before at a very early time which was so helpful and have our rehearsal at the venue as well. It was clean, decorated beautifully, and our guests are still talking about the food and how overall beautiful the venue was. We couldn’t be happier!

Northern lights was amazing! They provided amazing service and went above and beyond to make sure my guests and I were taken care of. The food is to die for and people are still talking about it. We did Ham, Roast Beef, Cheesy Potatoes, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy and the Tequila Berry Salad and it was all PERFECT. I’d recommend them to anybody!!! So glad we went through them for our wedding!

I highly recommend Northern Lights Banquet and Ballroom. From the first call asking if my date is open, talking to Bryony to the end of the night and the bartender and wonderful show runner telling us good night, everything was a great experience! Bryony has a great check list to run through and has thought of everything. She made the planning process easy and stress free. I would email her and she would answer me back in a day. The place was decorated beautifully, food was AMAZING! The staff working the event were kind and helpful. Big shout out to the bartender and the wonderful show running woman that made us feel comfortable and special, very sweet and friendly to all guests. They also work with all vendors that come to make the day special. I could not have had a better reception.

Excellent, fast communication and wonderful staffing. Could not be happier! Guests loved the food (we did the taco/nacho bar) and the day of coordinator was magical!

The food was excellent, and the service was top notch! Everything was taken care of for us, and it took so much stress off! We had a wedding at Northern Lights Ballroom and it was beautiful. The Ballroom itself was very bright,open,and beautiful, It also had a lot of extra space inside as well as outside that was just as beautiful. The staff was extremely helpful and the food was fantastic .All we heard from our guest was how great everything was.I would recommend this place to anyone who is planning a wedding!

This venue is amazing! Such a beautiful ambiance, they always have it decorated beautifully so you can add to it or if you want your own look they’ll move anything you’d like moved! The food is phenomenal, if they had a restaurant I could order from I’d drive there just for that! They are super easy to coordinate with for your big day and Maggie was our day of coordinator and she was so fantastic to work with! I wouldn’t choose anywhere else!

Bryony was so helpful in making sure I thought of every detail! The day of, we had an incredible event coordinator who continuously checked in with me to see if there was anything I needed. She also made sure to keep me at ease by letting me know how well we were staying on our schedule! We had an amazing day and everything went so smoothly! Would highly recommend Northern Lights!

We just couldn't be happier with how our day turned out in every way! We're an older couple(60's) and we worked with Bryony at Northern Lights in putting it together. Bryony was awesome but the whole staff was amazing in making sure everything went perfect. We had our ceremony and reception there and it is set up perfect for that. The dinner is prepared on site and I can't tell you how many compliments we had on how good it was. I would highly recommend Northern Lights for your wedding or any occasion!

We just had our wedding there June 5th. It was postponed due to Covid one year. Wendy and Bryony were amazing to work with through the pandemic and the months/days leading up our wedding. They are professional, helpful, kind, and they give great advise/idea's. Our day was so easy and stress free in regard to the venue, decorating, food, anything dealing with Northern Lights due to all their help. I could not recommend them enough. They your wedding amazing!

The owners of Northern Lights Ballroom were absolutely fabulous! They were so accommodating when we were only able to have 50 people at our reception. The food was AMAZING and the serving staff were all so kind. We would highly recommend Northern Lights to anyone looking to have a perfect and stress free wedding reception!

Due to the pandemic, my daughter’s wedding had to be postponed for 6 months. The girls at Northern Lights Went above and beyond to make sure that everything was PERFECT for their special day! Our daughter recently got married and we had their reception at Northern Lights Ballroom & Catering. We were also the decorating team for the wedding. It was an absolute pleasure to work with this family owned business. They went out of their way to make sure we had things just the way we wanted. The food was awesome and the service was wonderful. Everything looked beautiful!! We would highly recommend this venue for your event!!!

Amazing experience! The venue is beautiful and so nice to have the food and banquet hall under the same ownership. The staff all was amazing (from the owners all the way to the waitstaff and bartenders)! The process to hire the venue and then leading up to the wedding was so smooth and the staff is very responsive! We had a Buffett and I have seriously not had better roast beef in my life! We are so happy we picked this venue and it was actually the most reasonably priced compared to the others we looked at so that was an added bonus!

We just had my sisters wedding reception at the Northern Lights Ballroom at the end of February in which my mom and I were coordinators and decorators. They were so helpful EVERY step of the way, and accomodating wherever possible. Setting up was a breeze and the venue itself is stunning even before our final touches. The day of was amazing and the staff was polite, efficient and professional. The food was delicious and we heard from a lot of the guests that agreed. We wish we could do it all over again!

Northern lights took special care of the details of our wedding and took all of the stress from us. They had the venue set beautifully for us before we arrived the day of the event, and were available whenever we needed anything. After our ceremony they quickly changed the dining room from the ceremony seating to a gorgeous dining table set in excellent time for us and our guests to finish our social hour. Our dinner and cake was delightful and the overhead music they put on was perfect to set a casual mood over the group. We're so happy with our choice to book with Northern lights and would happily do so again!

Helpful, professional, patient in answering questions, very timely in responding to emails. Food was great. We had the royal buffet with cake in 4 flavors as 1 of our sides. They stress the fact that the cake is unlimited so i thought they would just keep bringing it out until people stopped taking it. However a lot of people didn't get cake including myself and my entire head table. My mother in law said the cake wasn't out for very long either, but I was so busy I just don't know for sure. All that being said, I probably would have chosen a different side and paid for cake separately so everyone would have gotten a piece. I can't stress enough how awesome everything else was though and because of how well they treated us I still say 5 stars. They do a great job and I would highly recommend them. All the vendors they recommend are top notch. I used the DJ and decorator they recommended and both were fabulous. You get a real sense of the quality they require here which to me is important. They did some other really nice things for us that may not be possible in every situation such as: we got to set up and decorate the night before which was super helpful -- if they have another event that won't be possible so you can't expect it. We originally booked for sept 8 but had a family issue so we asked to switch the date to Sept 1 and even though they already turned someone else down for the 8th they were still willing and able to accommodate us which I'm so grateful for. Overall they were agreeable and accommodating and so helpful. We had so many compliments on how good the food was and how nice the venue is. Just perfect. You won't regret using them for your event.

Amazing to work with!

Northern Lights catered my wedding and was the easiest part of planning my wedding. They took care of everything, cooking, set up, planning, take down... if your a bride you know that checking items off your to do list is the best.. with Northern lights I got to sit back and relax. They were the best vendor we got to work with, I highly recommend the food! THE ROAST BEEF WAS AMAAZZZINGGG!! I got so many compliments on our dinner food.

With the exception of a few minor things, our experience was great. They were very willing to answer any questions we had and responded quickly to all of the emails we sent them. The food was wonderful and we received many compliments on everything. There was some confusion on alcohol that we purchased ahead of time versus what was to be purchased that day. Not a major issue, just a bit of an inconvenience for us. Overall, we were very happy and pleased with this venue. It is beautiful and elegant, even without adding a lot of extra decorations. We would recommend them and would use them again in the future.

Northern Lights deserves 5+ stars! They were extremely flexible, responsive, and professional during our wedding planning process, and very affordable. The food was AMAZING and so is their staff. We would recommend them 100x over again - they truly exceeded our expectations and were one of the best vendors we worked with.

We had the most beautiful wedding reception at Northern Lights Ballroom January 6, 2018! The food was amazing and the service great. We loved working with their staff! They were so helpful and great at communicating with us! If you are located north of the cities, but still want a quality reception, then this is the venue for you! ~Brenda

Loved our wedding back in October. The cook was AMAZING, best wedding food I have EVER had. They were willing to help us store decorations before the wedding, which was huge. If I could redueour wedding again, I’d still pick northern lights!

We loved this venue! They did take care of everything. Bryonny really cared about making sure everything was specifically how I needed it on that day. We did have another wedding going on next door and it was no problem at all. If I had to get married all over again I would go this route. Everyone loved the food. We did ribs and roast beef. I highly recommend doing an all inclusive package. It wasn't actually that expensive and everyone was well taken care of. The ballroom was beautiful and best of all we didn't have to clean up. Genny Reynolds decorated for us as well and we were super happy with her.

We received professional service from beginning to the end. Great staff and great food. We received lots of compliments from our guests.
