Nota Bene was fantastic to work with from making my Save the Dates, my shower invites and then my wedding invites and church programs. Everything was done with such precision and beauty and I loved the look of all these. These ladies were absolutely amazing! I tried my hand at online invites, but threw in the towel when I realized (after showing the samples I had ordered to about 7 other people) I completely forgot to include the actual DATE of my wedding!! All three of these wonderful creators sat with me (and my ~very~ helpful parents) and helped me design exactly what I had in mind! All of their options and styles were just gorgeous too, so it was hard for me to choose! I mostly worked with Anne, who is just lovely! Huge range of invitation suites, with many customizable options. Really took the time to show us all the options - which got a little overwhelming! We thought our invitation suite was beautiful, and the communication was easy and simple.

We worked with Melissa Crimmins for our wedding paper products and she has been phenomenal! Really takes her time getting to know the feel of your wedding and helping you assemble the perfect invitation suite. She also helps with the small details like wording, what dress code to use, and making sure you didn't forget to think about any little piece. We used Nota Bene for our invitation suite, place cards, buffet labels, escort cards, napkins, coasters, tags for favors, programs, thank you cards, and cookie bags. They have EVERYTHING! It is so nice to be able to coordinate every paper product in your wedding. Nota Bene is also fabulous because they can print names on place cards, address all your envelopes, etc. It just adds that beautiful finished touch that handwritten pieces just wouldn't. They are prompt in responding to any questions you may have, they take their time with you at appointments so you don't feel rushed, and the turn-around time for proofs is so short it's almost unbelievable. If you want top-notch, professional paper products from a friendly, small business, this is absolutely the place to go! I even live 2 hours away, well worth the drive. I can't say enough good things about Nota Bene and I am so grateful for all their help with my wedding.

Very pleased with my whole experience here. Got many compliments on my William Arthur wedding invites and cost was not all that much more then the common online sites people use. Definitely added a special touch to our event.

My experience at Nota Bene could not have been better. I came to Nota Bene with a classic style invitation that I had found online. After reviewing the many styles that they offer, I couldn't find one that I liked as much. Amy was able to recreate the invitation that I loved by selecting the fonts that matched. My invitations turned out absolutely beautiful, I couldn't be happier. I can't wait to frame mine and hang it up so that we can continue to enjoy it!

I used Nota Bene for our daughter's wedding in May and couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. The whole process was easier than I had anticipated. Nota Bene made ordering my wedding invitations so easy and fun! They have a ton of books to look through and many options to pick from! The communication is top notch, they will work together with you to customize templates or colors if you would like. They helped with the wording, spacing and phrasing of the invitations (which is something that you don't get by ordering from online websites) and made sure that the wording sounded appropriate and elegant. After selecting the design you like- they send you proofs to review, they make edits and changes promptly if needed, they make sure that you have something that is exactly what you want. When I received my invites the quality was excellent, the paper was thick and luxurious and the color was bold and vivid! I got tons of compliments on them. I will definitely recommend them to everyone I know and use them again in the future.

I can't say enough about the wonderful Nota Bene team, ably led by Melissa. My now wife put me in charge of the invitations for our wedding in February 2018, maybe just to give me a job, but mainly because I'm kind of fussy about things. From start to finish, the team did an excellent job of helping me put it all together, starting with the gorgeous paper in a perfect shade. Many of our friends commented specifically on its elegance. There are several steps to go through in the invitation process, including deciding on the content, because of limited space. Melissa patiently went through every iteration until we figured out what was most essential to include. First off, the store is beautiful.....bright and welcoming with fab merchandise. I especially love their calendars!! There is a separate section where you can peruse hundreds of options for invitations of all kinds and is where the fun begins. Amy and Melissa and their assistants are super knowledgeable and whether you come knowing exactly what you want, sort of what you want, or have no idea and open to suggestions, this is the place. Amy helped me select everything for my daughter's wedding....save the date, invite, menu, programs, place cards and I am undoubtedly forgetting something! It was a process, as my daughter lives in California and I was in Pittsburgh but there were so many options (to satisfy both my taste and my daughter's taste) and along with Amy's patience and a lot of facetime/photos we were able to come up with what we all loved. Bottom line: my daughter really loved that her dog's face was the stamp for the invite and rsvp!!!! Thank you for your tremendous knowedge and help through the whole wedding process. You should know that I visit Note Bene frequently just for their cards: they are unique, some are funny and very beautiful. It is a full service stationary store!!!

My biggest surprise in wedding planning was how much work went into invites and paper products. Nota bene was beyond helpful throughout the entire process and the final products exceeded our expectations. We worked with Alexa from start to finish. She had just gotten married herself so totally understood how overwhelming the process could be. She did everything she could to make sure we were happy with our invites. By the end of our first appointment, she took what we liked from about 6 invitation suites and figured out a way to combine them to make me and the groom happy- she also did it under our budget! The vendor screwed up a few times but Alexa was sure to get exactly what we wanted and communicated any hold ups along the way. We were so happy with note bene that we got matches, napkins, table numbers, charity donation cards, programs, menu cards and our thank you notes through them. The absolute best part (and cherry on top) was Alexa offered to print out our guests addresses on the thank you note envelopes as well. I didn't even realize how much of a time saver that would be- but she really knew her stuff. Highly recommend!

Alexa at Nota Bene was a dream to work with on my wedding invitation suite. When I went into the adorable Nota Bene shop in Aspinwall, I told her about my vision and budget, and she walked me through several different options that would work. She had patience and gave me various ideas for my invitations. She was so accommodating and the invitations that we created were BEAUTIFUL. Because she was so easy to work with, I enlisted her expertise in creating dinner menus, wedding programs, and table numbers so that everything would fit nicely together. Of course, I decided this only a few weeks away from my wedding, and Alexa got it done. She also shared the monogram/fonts that we used so that I could print out a few signs on my own. I would HIGHLY recommend Nota Bene and Alexa for wedding invitations/other paper products. Beautiful work, and a very kind, easy person to work with during a time that can be very stressful.

Melissa at Nota Bene was so great to work with! She was so enthusiastic about our wedding products - Save the Dates, programs, invitations, matchbooks (which people LOVED) cocktail napkins, hand towels - you name it, Melissa was on top of it with mock ups and adjustments basically whenever we needed them. Everything was flawless. I may be biased, but our invitations were the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Like they say, it's all in the details - and Nota Bene is all about making sure the details are perfect!

Nota Bene was the perfect choice to carry out my daughter’s vision of an elegant, understated, yet modern mood from the save-the-dates and invitations through the menus, which adorned the tables, to the cylindrical boxes of matches atop the bar. After all of the planning, the day has come and gone, but the quality product and exceptional service at Nota Bene are part of our terrific memories of the day.

This place is AMAZING!! My experience from the very beginning has just been so fun and positive. Also their product is by far the best!! I've worked with Alexa twice (once before in my best friend's wedding and now my own) and she totally listens to you, gives you so many options, understands price ranges, and just has such a great attitude all around. She gets back to you very quickly also, which making working with her awesome. They are just the best around!! I highly recommend, you will not regret it!

Nota Bene and specifically the women who work there gave us the best experience. They helped us with every last detail. They even stood alongside us as we were nit picky and indecisive. When you're picking gradients of black or grey and neither of them are good enough for you and you end up picking a color called mushroom-- that is what great assistance looks like. So yeah, we were that couple and we were completely taken care of. Detail oriented, professional and fun.

Amy and Alexa were incredibly helpful (and flexible) throughout my entire wedding process!! I highly recommend Nota Bene. I was relatively behind on all of my 'to-do lists', and they were so accommodating with their schedules and timelines. They did my save-the-dates, invitations, programs, and place cards, and all turned out better than I could have expected. I wanted to set the right "tone" with my paper products, and with the help of Nota Bene, I did. The design process was very nice - as they don't push or try to make decisions for you. I had no clue what I wanted for my save-the-dates, and poured through all of their books. I found one I thought I liked. But, after seeing the proof, I wanted to change the entire thing. Alexa was verrry patient through the whole process. For the wedding invitation, I really wanted something beautiful and classic. The brand and style I wanted was pretty expensive, and they offered to show me similar, less expensive options to accommodate my budget.

The staff at Nota Bene was wonderful to work with for our daughter's wedding. Amy showed great patience as we looked through numerous books of invitations looking for exactly what our daughter had in mind. As we proceeded through the process of ordering and providing address lists Amy kept us on track, was always responsive and helpful. The menu card needed a special logo that Amy helped us include without any difficulty. They were all a joy to work with!

Two of my children were married within weeks of each other. These ladies did everything right! Each event was unique to that couple. The suggestions made were well thought out and executed the vision of that couple. The attention to detail is exceptional. When I came in to pick up our products, once approved, they were packed for shipping! The quality of all their products has been exceptional! Even down to the paper straws. I worked with Nota Bene for my October 2015 wedding in Chicago, IL at Fourth Presbyterian Church on Michigan Ave and a reception at The Racquet Club of Chicago. Nota Bene provided all of the stationary/paper work including: save the dates, engagement party invites, formal invitations, place cards, ceremony bulletin, welcome back info cards/map, Thank You stationary, etc. with many price points available for each item. However, Evvy and her team guided us through many other aspects of planning our Big Day aside from the paper goods. This was the first wedding for our family and Evvy provided invaluable advice and insight, from telling us how early to send out our Save the Dates for an out of town wedding, to suggesting we have an edible take-home gift for guests. We wanted an elegant, formal, and traditional affair and the stationary by Nota Bene captured exactly that. All of our guests (many from Fox Chapel, PA and Lake Forest, IL) commented on how stunning the formal invitations were. Our church was especially strict in their guidelines for the ceremony program, and Evvy had no problem accommodate every guideline. We had the a great experience working with Evvy, and Nota Bene and I would 100% recommend them for anyone planning a wedding or event!

Nota Bene is a fantastic stationary source!! One of the best in Pittsburgh. They have thousands of beautiful products to choose from and customize, and incredible customer service! They did all the paper good for my wedding after winning us over with a great experience with the invitations (our invitations were even selected to be featured on the Crane website!). The staff and owner are extremely personable, easy to make appointments with, prompt with communicating back and forth (even on Sundays) and they easily accommodated our often rushed schedule. I could not give them a higher recommendation!!

I worked with Evvy at Nota benefit my wedding & I couldn't be happier! When I first met with Evvy I had no idea what I wanted from a save the date/ invitation etc. Evvy walked me through the process and really helped me visualize what I wanted!! She was so patient & knowledgable.. I knew I was in great hands! In Creating the invitations I was able to picture my wedding , it really helped set the tone for a lot of my decor. We had our invitations, escort cards and cocktail napkins made by Nota Bene. The entire staff was great every time we visited or emailed. They gladly worked through any change I requested and did so in a timely manner. Everything turned out beautifully and we were very happy.

I know most people do their own invitations now, but I didn't want to have to take the time (and ink!), so I went to Nota Bene. They did a very nice job and generally I am pleased. Some of the invitation envelopes had ink smears and they did print one envelope that was from the sample they gave me in an excel sheet, so that wasn't great because I paid for "John Smith's" fictitious envelope. Otherwise I liked what they did. Place Cards were great. Would recommend.

Nota Bene has endless options for wedding invitations. They have a wall full of samples from which to choose to customize. The letterpress invitations are absolutely beautiful! We worked with Amy, who was such a pleasure, very professional, and timely! We presented to her with less than 3 weeks before we needed to mail our invitations. She helped us choose the perfect invitations and e-mailed us numerous samples after we made small changes time and time again. They also printed our escort cards. They were ready for pickup the day after I sent her the guest list! I can't say enough good things about Nota Bene and Amy! I will definitely use them in the future!

Evvy and Amy were great to work with and spent so much time to make sure everything from our Save the Dates to our invitations and programs were perfect! These ladies are very creative and have a great eye for style and composition...I got many compliments on our invitations!

Nota Bena offered the high quality products I was looking for and the flexibility for me to design my own save the date for them to print! Nota Bene is a fabulous little niche card and papier shop nestled in the heart of Aspinwall. The owners are a delight to work with and provide you unparalled service. They are honest, fun and detail oriented. The options they have are endless and they work very closely with you to ensure that you leave happy and with exactly what you've been dreaming of! I had quite the pleasure of working with them very closely for many monthes and if I could get married all over again I wouldn't do it any differently or even consider going anywhere else! Nota Bene is wonderful! Everything from the customer service to the invitation selection is high quality. They have a huge selection of beautiful invitations to choose from and they are easy and fun to work with. Evvy helped me and my mom pick out my invitations and they were amazing. She also helped us match them with the ceremony programs, menu cards and thank you notes. I work in the wedding industry and i must say Nota Bene is one of the best paper boutiques in the area. If you are considering them, don't think twice. You will be thrilled with the results!

Our invitations were beautiful and they were very accommodating with our limited budget. Very prompt service and they were easy to work with.

I worked with Amy for my invitations, escort cards and programs. I was on a limited budget with my invitations, so Amy helped me find ones that I liked within my price range. She set up my programs for $50 and after a lot of tweaking we finally got it right. I also gave her a spreadsheet and she printed my escort cards for pretty cheap. All in all it was 100 percent worth outsourcing all these items. NOTE: I originally was going to use Wedding Paper Divas, but after ordering samples, their paper quality is really low and their prices are high. Not worth it.
