**update from my previous review on 9/28** After receiving the previous check, a family member reached out and spoke to the owner of the company (Mike). He had no idea that any of this happened and actually went to the venue the same day to speak with the chef that was on duty the night of our wedding. He finally got the full truth that they burnt over half of the pizzas that they brought with to cook for the evening. They also informed us that the breadsticks were prepped and ready to go when the team left for the venue on the day of the wedding, but they forgot to bring them with. The owner did make it right with us and actually sent us a handwritten apology. It sucks that we had to go through the lengths we did to hear the truth, but they did take full accountability for their mistakes in the long run.

We used Noteable Events for my recent wedding because they were a preferred vendor from our venue. All started out great with the tasting and scheduling of everything. Once the final payment came around, I asked the associate that we had been working with to notify me when they received our check in the mail. We never got a call or email, just noticed that the money was taken out of the bank. Communication could have improved. We didn't hear anything from them until the day of the wedding when everything took a drastic turn for the worse. We booked the Chicago Pizza with Greens N' Things buffet, so you would think they wouldn't run out of the main entrée (pizza) right? WRONG. We actually ended up being under our final guest count for the day and they still ran out of pizza. We had at least 17 guests not be able to eat the main entrée, including the mother of the bride. According to the menu that we signed the contract with, there were also supposed to be breadsticks included and there were none to be seen on the day of. Once the pizza ran out and the kitchen realized they had no supplies to make more, our bartender, who is not employed by this company, ordered pizza from a nearby restaurant. The employees made it seem like it was our fault that they ran out saying people were taking too many slices. The "slices" were about half the size you would normally get at a typical pizza chain, so of course people were taking more than a couple. I called and spoke to the same associate I had been communicating with all along and at first they offered to send us dinner for one night. Dinner for 2 people for one night does NOT equal pizza not served for almost 20 people and breadsticks missing for our entire guest count. I mentioned that the bartender ordered the pizza from a nearby restaurant for the rest of the guests to be able to eat and the associate said “well actually we did that” in a rather snarky way. They finally made a comment about getting us a refund, but they seemed resistant to doing it saying they would have to talk to the owner and didn’t think they would approve that. Over a week later, we got a check in the mail, but not for the amount that we had discussed. Instead, they made us pay for the pizza that was ordered after the fact and took that amount off of the total amount they were refunding us. Oh, I almost forgot, nobody answers the "corporate" phone number either... it just keeps ringing and ringing. VERY disappointed in this company and their methods of handling their mistakes. Would NOT recommend!

So we were a little leery when we found our our venue only worked with one caterer--Noteable Events, but let me tell you WOW WOW WOW. Not only were they super easy to work with, but the food was PHENOMENAL--and that's an understatement. During our tasting, we went with the 3 stations (Italian, Carvery & Dessert). It was just me, my fiance and my mom for the tasting, and wow, the amount of food we took home, it lasted us a week! Everything we tried was delicious--and I mean everything. And the presentation of each dish was so beautiful. You could really tell the love and passion that went into creating each course. And they took detailed notes to make sure to have it exactly as we wanted for our wedding day. Tony and his team made sure our wedding day food went perfectly. They brought appetizers to the bridal suite for me and my husband after our ceremony and it was so nice to be able to relax and eat without getting pulled in a million directions. And for dinner, oh man, you could smell the chefs cooking wafting from the tent into the gardens and every single guest told us how wonderful everything was. And they were so accommodating to guests with food sensitivities or making a custom dish for someone if needed. I'll tell you what, they certainly put on a fantastic spread with a ton of options and if I had to do it all again, I would absolutely book with Noteable Events. I might have to order some of what we had at the wedding just because it was so darn good!!

Ann and her team go above and beyond to create the most delicious food ever. We loved the food for our wedding tasting and were so excited to try it again on the wedding day! We received so many compliments about the food from our guests. We were so pleased and blown away by the food!
