Nova helped me achieve the wedding of my dreams. April, the coordinator, was amazing. We met with her several times over the year to go over what we wanted our wedding to look like. She was also there the day of the wedding, from the time I was getting ready to after we left. She made sure to stay in contact with all the vendors to make sure everything was done on time. She and her staff did an amazing job setting up the ceremony and reception area, it was my dream come true. Nova’s in house DJ Jaey was the best dj ever. All my guests stayed on the dance floor the whole time and told me how great the music selection was. Nova provides a lot of decor, chairs, linen, tables, etc so you don’t have to worry about it. I highly recommend them to anyone getting married. The outside area was perfect for the ceremony and later for food trucks and a Photo Booth. The reception area was big enough for guests of 150. Parking was free and across the street. Thank you Nova and all your great staff.

My husband and I were married at NOVA back in May and it is truly a dream venue. The venue itself is beautiful, any decoration is just an added bonus! We worked with Ruby throughout our planning process and April during the month/day of our wedding. Both of these ladies are professional, highly responsive, and take the time to work with you to make sure your day is perfect. They take the time to walk you through the process and make it as easy as possible! We also used NOVA’s house DJ for our wedding ceremony music and reception. DJ Jaey was fantastic!! Our guests loved the music and dancing portion of the night. He listened to our music preferences and made sure to play all of our requests. Our music during our ceremony went perfectly as well, he even took the time to make a mix of one of our songs that was on the short side to make sure it was long enough. We didn’t even have to ask. I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our day! Our wedding day went so smooth, if there was a hiccup, I didn’t know it. April and the Nova team made our vision come to life, our decorations were perfect and exactly how I pictured. They handled everything when it came to the arrival and set up of other vendors so we didn’t have to worry about a thing! We could not have picked a better venue for our special day!!

I officiated at this beautiful venue last weekend. I cannot say enough superlatives about the space the ambience the professionalism of the staff, especially April, Michael, and dj_jaey! They all work together like a well-oiled machine, and they are delightful people as well. Rev. Judi Davis I am eager to share my enthusiasm about this space with my future couples and look forward to returning soon. HIGHLY recommend!

I am OBSESSED with this venue. I wanted a very industrial feel to our wedding and the brick throughout the building helped me achieve that. The room really spoke for itself so I did not have to do too much decorating which I’m sure saved me some money. It has so much character in the building itself. Not to mention, the bamboo garden is STUNNING. Our ceremony was outside so we could incorporate some nature into the wedding and then moved inside for the remainder of the night and reception so everyone was comfortable and not sweaty. Everyone I dealt with from the start was so accommodating and kind. Massive props to April!! I am not much of a planner and was very mellow about a lot of the details which made me nervous of how it would really come together. When I say I didn’t have to think or worry about anything the day of, I truly did not have to think or worry once. She killed it. We went over the timeline and my vendors prior to the day of the wedding and had everything in order. April and the rest of the staff set everything up so perfectly. They hustled all day long. After the ceremony was over, you would have never known anything happened because those chairs were packed up and put away instantly which allowed for our photos to happen through the bamboo garden seamlessly. They were the most attentive and kind people I have ever worked with for anything. I wish I could get married all over again just to work with them again. I am from out of state and I never felt stressed that I wasn’t able to get something done from afar because they were there to help every step. I was even able to send a text if I thought of anything in between our calls and emails that I wanted to get out of my head right away so I didn’t forget it. Also, if you are using a DJ, please don’t even look anywhere else. Their house DJ is PHENOMENAL. He seamlessly coordinated songs that were part of our bridal parties’ speeches and cared to know what we liked or didn’t like. Everyone was on the dance floor all night thanks to him!! DJ Jaey is the best. Although you can use other vendors, I mostly went with their “preferred” vendors. I was assured through my calls with NOVA and April that if we have a bad experience to let them know because they WILL take the vendor off the preferred list if they don’t live up to their expectations of quality. I had no issues. Every vendor I had knew the space well and was kind and attentive. I never had to even walk up to the bar once because the staff made sure I always had a drink and made sure I was ready to eat and ready for the next course when dinner started. I hope I am able to convince my family that lives in Florida or their friends to get married or host other events at NOVA 535 because I want to shout their praises from the rooftops!! Best venue you could ever find in the area. I can’t thank them enough for making my wedding day one of the best days of our lives.

NOVA 535 was the first venue we toured when we began our search in St Pete and we were so impressed with the initial meeting and what seemed like would make for such an easy/stress free wedding day, we decided to book NOVA without seeing anywhere else. Our instincts were correct because we are BEYOND happy we choose Nova for our wedding day. Ruby was so great to work with during the planning period and very responsive. She understood our vision, made suggestions based on industry expertise, and assured us our big day would be perfect. April was our day-of coordinator and she was amazing. DJ Jaey (Nova's house DJ) was great, Chris (tech) was great, bartenders and wait staff was great and even the doorman was great!! The clearly wedding-seasoned doorman was so cute and told me to take a big deep breath right before walking down the aisle, it was just so sweet. Anyways, NOVA is a well-oiled machine. Our guests raved about the venue for days after and we could not have been happier with choosing NOVA and their top-tier team for our wedding!

My husband and I had our delayed wedding reception at Nova 535 in May of 2022 (after getting married in a private ceremony in November 2021), and we could not have been happier with how it turned out. Our coordinator April and the whole team brought our vision to life and allowed the evening to flow seamlessly and beautifully. I really cannot overstate how incredible April and the whole Nova team was. First of all, the venue is gorgeous and so versatile. It has the industrial chic vibe that I love and is beautiful to start, so any decorations are just a bonus. It's really the perfect spot in that it includes dressing rooms and both indoor and outdoor spaces, so you can make your day however you want it. We got so many compliments on the space and how beautiful everything looked. The decor and set up was so easy thanks to April and the team. Everything looked exactly how I imagined it, but better. The Nova team and their preferred vendors are outstanding. April made me feel at ease from the moment we first spoke, but especially the afternoon and night of our reception. She was an absolute rockstar and I'll never be able to thank her enough for taking care of us and executing the whole night flawlessly. I was so nervous about how everything would turn out because we were doing things so unconventionally (and showing several videos including video of our wedding ceremony and a video of the speech given by my husband's parents' who live outside the country) but April, our tech whiz Chris, and our DJ Jaey pulled it all off perfectly and on time. Because of Nova's great system of using preferred vendors, there was very little I had to do - essentially after I hired them they all coordinated amongst themselves and required very little from me. The process really was so easy, and the result so amazing. I planned it all without a wedding planner and from a distance (I'm originally from St. Pete but live in North Carolina now) and the online portal and google drive system made everything so unbelievably easy and low stress. I honestly never thought I could plan and execute a wedding, but thanks to April and the Nova team, I was able to, and it turned out even better than I envisioned it. If you want a beautiful, low stress wedding with outstanding staff and vendors. do yourself a favor and have it at Nova 535.

I photographed a wedding at this venue and can't speak highly enough about the experience. The venue as a whole is stunning inside and out. The exterior is unique and colorful while also being spacious whether your event is small or large. The interior is wide open with high ceilings and two floors. And I especially loved the lighting in the outdoor space that added an extra touch for the couple exiting. The venue team was also great at communicating with us throughout the event. We highly recommend them!

We held our reception at Nova and it was incredible! We worked with Ruby throughout our planning process and April the day of, and they were both extremely sweet and attentive to us and our questions/needs. I was very particular with my vision of how I wanted our tables and decorations to look, and they were super willing to work with it. We also loved that it included things like tables, chairs, DJ, bar, sparkler exit. Took some of that work out for us. Speaking of DJ- DJ jaey is Nova’s house DJ and he is awesome!!!! Definitely include him in your event! I would say the only thing we didn’t particularly love is that we couldn’t bring anything prior to 3 hours before the day of our event, which was difficult bc our ceremony was at a different venue, and we also had to take everything with us that night. There were also a lot of additional charges if we wanted anything taken off the walls or removed ect. But honestly, it was a great experience and the entire night went so smooth, and every one of our guests came up to us and raved about how much fun they had!!! We would highly recommend Nova.

Nova is a very unique and charming place. We booked our wedding here, so we could have our ceremony and reception all in one place. All our guests loved it and had a great time. The ambience, sound and lighting were fantastic. We did have several complaints about April being somewhat insolent, but she had a 100 plus people to attend to. The 1hour drink package we paid 1500$ extra for was slow and light. Guests said they were unaware of the upstairs bar at first, so they crowded around downstairs. The bar staff was friendly but quicker to serve when it was a cash bar. This was the feedback I got from guests when I asked about their experience. I was doing wedding stuff and didn't get to the bar, as we were served at our table. Other than this we had a great experience and would recommend Nova 535 for your wedding or event.

seriously the decision we made in the entire process. April and the whole staff are absolutely amazing. They pointed us in the right direction for pretty much every single vendor we chose and all of them were amazing. Best day of our lives and wouldn't have been possible without them. Nova 535 was such a dream to work with, not to mention how beautiful the space is! From our first tour to the day of our wedding, Nova was so helpful and easy to work with. Ruby is amazing and extremely quick to respond to any and all questions. She was always readily available to help with anything that we needed. Ruby was not able to be there on the day of our wedding and we had Maria instead. Maria had been given all of the information for our wedding and she was on top of it! She kept everyone on schedule and made sure that we had no issues the whole day. I did not have a day of planner and was a little worried, but the Nova team went above and beyond to ensure everything that day was perfect. All of our guests loved this venue too. We had plenty of space for our 130 guests and they loved the unique look which includes a great courtyard. If you are looking for a venue that requires minimal decorations, is easy to work with, and provides a memorable space for your wedding Nova is your spot!

This was one of the best deviations about our wedding! It was affordable, but most of all the staff was INCREDIBLY helpful and flexible through the whole process. The only challenge was parking but that also had a lot to do with the date we picked. I would highly recommend this venue!

We just had our wedding at Nova this past weekend, 11/15/19. I can't say enough about Nova and their staff as they helped us have the night we dreamed of! We moved our ceremony at the last minute to Nova due to weather and they went above and beyond setting up chairs, lanterns, adding in the music.... without being asked! It was wonderful. The bar staff was great, they were very attentive to us as well as all of our guest and very polite. The manager Chris was great the night of... checking in constantly to make sure we didn't need or want anything. We would definitely recommend Nova for any event!

At first I fell in love with Nova but they nickel and dime you as time progresses, even with the terrible painting that "must" kept up on the wall. They ask for you to provide photos of what you would like your ceremony to be set up as, and did not follow it, nor did they mention that they couldn't follow through with it prior to my wedding day. You MUST use their vendors like selection of chairs and tables and bartenders, which was unfortunate. My guest were treated TERRIBLY during my by the bartenders they were giving an attitude to my guest(very embarrassing)! The level of communication between I and Nova was very short no explanation and was constantly told to look at the contract, rather than make me the bride "feel comfortable" in this wedding planning process, and assist in describing changes! I HIGHLY suggest you get the details 1st before ever signing a contract with them or else you are stuck with paying additional for sparklers and ugly wall decor that you could have included in the contract and not paying extra for!

Nova 535 was an amazing event space for our wedding. It was beautiful inside and out, and everyone was so friendly and accommodating. From our first walk through to our walk down the aisle, they were able to help us with everything we needed. Our coordinator, Ruby, was top-notch, even walking us through how our ceremony and timeline should go and suggesting chairs in a circle for our ceremony (which we loved!!). She was calm and collected the whole time, not at all tense or demanding, and that really helped with my nervousness on wedding day. The getting ready rooms in the back were great, and our guests were wowed with the whole beauty of the place. Prices went up while we were under contract, and they allowed us to keep our contract prices. It was well worth the money we spent. Our night was perfect. Thank you, Nova team!

NOVA 535 was the perfect space for our March wedding. The venue itself is beautiful inside and out. The bamboo courtyard was perfect for pictures after the ceremony so we had a chance to have some time alone and see our family before the reception. Ruby was AMAZING! She really knows how to coordinate and run the day smoothly. We can't say enough THANK YOU's to all the staff from NOVA. Our wedding was more perfect than we could have imagined and we highly recommend using NOVA 535!

We used Nova 535 for our wedding this past weekend and we couldn't have picked a better venue. Nova was actually the first venue that we considered and we picked it immediately after seeing it. We were both very glad that we did! It's a very unique space with an amazing atmosphere. We had our ceremony in the bamboo courtyard which was beautiful and had the reception inside. We received compliments all night about the venue which everyone seemed to love. Most importantly we were very appreciative of the staff that came along with Nova. The bartenders and barback staff were very friendly and professional. DJ Jaey was fantastic and played exactly what we were looking for, blending mixes of rock, dance, and latin music perfectly throughout the night. Chris was very supportive and helpful from the very beginning of the afternoon until the end. Of course, the person who was the highlight for us was Ruby, the event coordinator. From the moment we sat down with her, we felt very confident that she had everything under control, which she did! Absolutely everything from start to finish went perfectly. If there were any problems along the way, we didn't know about them because Ruby was on top of everything. She responded very quickly to any questions that we had and was flexible and supportive of all of our ideas, even the more "non-traditional" ones. After the wedding, my Wife and I talked for about an hour in the hotel about how perfect everything was. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would recommend Nova to anybody who is getting married in the area. We can't thank you enough!

This place is such a great venue! It features a lush bamboo garden with lights strung overhead, perfect for the ceremony or cocktail hour and pictures. The interior is two stories, high ceilings, gorgeous exposed brick. Choose your own lighting to set the mood you desire! They also have a brilliant in-house DJ (DJ Jaey) who is organized and is willing to take suggestions from the wedding party and incorporate them beautifully into your reception. But the best part? THE STAFF. You may or may not know this yet, but your wedding day will be hectic and you'll be pulled in a million directions and you WILL forget to eat (or you just won't be able to make it to the food!). The Nova staff checked in with us many times asking us if we needed drinks or food or anything else. Guys, this is SO IMPORTANT. Trust me when I tell you that very venue doesn't do this. The bottom line is that Nova is fantastic and I if I had it to do over, I would choose Nova again.

Pros: • Ceremony and reception in one place • Amazing staff, including an outstanding DJ (DJ JAEY) and event planner (Ruby) • Beautiful bamboo surrounded courtyard • Allow outside catering and food trucks • Minimal decorations needed • Ideal downtown St. Pete location • Parking was no problem • Excellent bathrooms and changing rooms • Great for a set it and forget it wedding Cons: • Our rehearsal reservation got booked by another event • Must use their bars/drink packages which are not cheap Nova 535 was absolutely perfect the day of our wedding. We started our day getting ready in the upstairs changing rooms drinking mimosas. We then took pictures in the courtyard and in front of the murals across the street. We had a very simple ceremony in the courtyard with 115 guests and afterward we all moved inside to where our outside catering served appetizers during a cocktail hour. Everyone then moved downstairs to the main area which Nova had set up for brunch and dancing. We were able to bring in a food truck for desert which was awesome. In total we had 5 hours at the venue, with a 3 hour drink package that worked out well. The unexpected highlight was DJ JAEY. He was kind, professional and played a perfect blend of our music and music that got the crowd up and dancing. Our only problem with the entire experience was the rehearsal. We were thrilled when a month out we were able to book the venue for an hour to do our rehearsal. A week before the wedding we got a request to move the rehearsal back an hour because Nova wanted to book another event that night during our reservation. We said no but Nova booked the other event anyway and we did our rehearsal in the courtyard as the other event was setting up and guests were arriving. Fortunately for us we had as simple of a ceremony as it gets and the rain stayed away so we didn’t need the inside area for rehearsal.

The staff at Nova 535 went above and beyond for our wedding to be the most magical day of our lives! Everything was seamless with Nova's help, and family raved over the uniqueness of the venue! I brought bins of props and decorations to be used and the wedding coordinator Melissa took everything off my hands and made the event just as I imagined! Even more amazing was her packing things up and everyone helping at the end of the night. My husband is a musician and Nova was very accommodating with their sound system and lights as he sang a song for me. They were also very accommodating with the few handicap family members who needed use of the elevator with an escort. It truly was a dream come true to be married at Nova. As soon as we saw the place we fell in love with the atmosphere and Nova really helped make it happen for us!

The venue space was beautiful and spacious. I could not have asked for a better space to have my wedding, and at a great price too! But, for the price I still had a few issues that really made my wedding planning quite difficult and stressful. The original wedding coordinator that we had expressed to us that she would be 100% available to us on our wedding day... that was not the case. The coordinator was pregnant and gave birth about a month before our wedding. I asked to confirm that she would be there a few times and we were assured that she would be there. I didn't trust it so I went out of my way to hire another coordinator. Thank goodness I did because the week before our wedding we found out that she would not actually be at the wedding because she was on maternity leave. Of course Nova still provided another day of coordinator and she was awesome. Melissa was very organized and she seemed to have it all together! I give her a million thumbs up! Luckily I was able to meet with Melissa twice before the wedding to go over things with her. Between her an my outside coordinator, they both got the job done. Another Issue I had (pre-Melissa) was that when we put our deposit down for the event space, we were told that we could bring our own things to the wedding (of course) and we would have to bring them back home with us when all was said and done. That is great, except for the fact that the vendors are not allowed in until just three hours before the event. That makes things pretty difficult when your wedding is off-site in a church about 30-minutes away. Knowing this a year ahead of time, I asked the owner of there was any way that we could bring our things any sooner. The answer when we placed our deposit was yes (of course). He even said that if there wasn't an event the day before we could start bringing things and looking around the day before. A few weeks before the wedding the answer was much different. NO ONE was willing to take my personal items from me to set them up at my wedding. I was willing to do it all myself, especially being that there was not an event the night before. No one was willing to let me do that either. This is where my other coordinator came in handy. She was able to bring my items for me and set them up the way I wanted it to be. I just think it is sad that I legitimately had to spend almost $500 on another coordinator just for peace of mind (and then ultimately to bring and set up my personal items). Honestly, If I could do it over again, I would have just hired a wedding planner to plan my whole wedding from top to bottom. I worked with so many people that it ultimately became a huge, confusing mess.

Probably one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. The inside is Gorgeous and the outside is absolutely STUNNING! The Staff is incredible and just the ambiance of the whole place is astounding! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 If I wasn't already married, I would get married here FOR SURE! I recommend it to all of my friends!

Nova is a beautiful and unique venue for a wedding. Having been born in Florida I always assumed I was going to have a beach wedding, but as we started looking at venues I started to lean toward a 20's/Gatsby theme. I couldn't be happier with the way everything turned out. The bamboo garden is beautiful and was perfect for the ceremony. The inside, with its exposed brick and old hardwood floors definitely lends itself to the 20's. The venue really is a photographer's dream and because of the way it is decorated, it really doesn't need much in the way of decor. Ruby, our original planner, was quick to respond when we had questions and is very sweet, but because of unforeseen circumstances was unable to attend the wedding itself. She passed all of my information on to Melissa who took over seamlessly. My guests all raved about how wonderful and professional Melissa was. Nova'S DJ, Jaey, was wonderful!! We procrastinated a little when it came down to choosing some of the music and Jaey walked us through everything and made wonderful suggestions. He was awesome to work with! We couldn't be happier that we chose Nova!

Nova 535 is a gorgeous venue for all occasions. Unfortunately, due to personal issues I was not able to use the venue on my originally planned date. I was greatly upset when I had to inform the venue of this as I was ecstatic to use this amazing venue. It was the perfect venue for our wedding day. Sadly, due to the contract obligations we were unable to change the date. Nova 535 fulfilled all contractual obligations to a tee, BUT to work with our extenuating circumstances Mr. Novilla went beyond the contract to help us. I appreciated his willingness to do so... Ruby, the coordinator we had was amazing to work with and I would highly recommend her. She was in constant contact with us and was quick to respond when we had a question or issues. She was even willing to do last minute changes if we wanted to use the venue anyways on the originally planned day for different occasion. I'm sure everything would have been wonderfully perfect and ran super smoothly if we were able to use the venue on the originally planned.

We recently had our wedding here and I can honestly say NOVA is the best place to get married in the Tampa Bay area. The venue is amazing; tall ceilings, exposed brick, bamboo garden, theatre lightening. It’s a breathtaking space and Michael has paid attention to all of the details! Melissa the event coordinator and Jaey the DJ are a great team and played a huge part in the success of our wedding. If you get the opportunity to work with them you will not be disappointed. This team is passionate about what they do and it makes a difference. We wanted to use a smaller catering company, this was one of the few spaces that allowed outside catering. Also, the venue provided a lot of decorations that we were able to use. I LOVED their “stay local” vibe and tried to use vendors that were in the area. The whole experience was fantastic. I would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you Team NOVA for making our wedding day so special.

It may not look like much from the outside but do not pass this place! I knew the second we walked in that this is where I was getting married! It is such a unique atmosphere that you will not find anywhere else. All of the art is left on display so there is no need for decorating. We got the package that included a dj which was really nice. I can't say enough good things about the staff. We were always in constant contact and had an answer for every question I could possibly ask. Our day of coordinator, Ruby, was fabulous! She was everywhere! She kept things running smooth and kept people in line so I didn't have to! If I had to get married all over again I would pick Nova 100 times over!

I loved the unique space that NOVA offers and was very pleased with the final outcome of the wedding. The drapery and lighting they offered added a lovely ambiance. The only issue I was not completely please with was that not everything was set up when we arrived by our on site coordinator and I, as the bride, had to run around a bit and change some things and help. ALso,we had 3 hours of open bar and two hours of cash and there seemed to be several mix ups with charging people at wrong times and only opeing one small end of the large bar downstairs. But other than that, I loved every minute of our wedding and it was beautiful, fun, eclectic and so unique. This space is perfect if you want something not completely traditional and with modern and artistic flair. We loved the staircases, the bamboo garden, the loft bar area for the coctail hour and the cleanliness of everything. And the house DJ, DJ Jaey, is such a pleasure to work with and seems as excited about your event as you are and does exactly what you ask. Thank you again for helping make our wedding a success.

What a beautiful and eclectic venue! We only had our reception here. This place is definitely for a couple that does not want the "ballroom at a hotel" or "country club" type venue. Don't let the outside fool you, this place is a diamond in the rough. The staff are professional and on top of it! Along with the staff, the owner also goes WELL out of his way during the planning process and the day of to ensure everyone, especially the bride and groom, are happy and well taken care of. Our glasses were never empty! Another major plus is that the DJ booth is up on the 2nd floor overlooking the dance floor and main room. It definitely helps (especially when you have an awesome DJ) when he can see the mood and what everyone is doing to keep the party moving all night! We have been getting rave reviews about what a unique venue it is and about the entire experience! The only gripe would be that this venue is a bit pricey; however, for the most part you get what you pay for. We are SOOOO happy we chose the Nova for our reception venue! It surpassed all of our wildest wedding dreams!!!

One of the most picturesque locations to hold a wedding in the Tampa area. Communication with NOVA was difficult due to high turn over of staff. Growing pains did impair customer service and communication but in the end they pulled of one amazing wedding. Out Event Coordinator Ruby was truly a gem. Ruby was always organized and professional and she single-handedly kept our event moving. Everyone who had a chance to meet her complemented how well she operated the entire event. Ruby came into the picture only a short time before our wedding but she implemented our plans with grace. I can honestly say that if we were ever to need an event coordinator down the road, Ruby would be my first call. I could never thank her enough for her part in making out day special. All of the staff from set up to tear down were very nice and very helpful with anything we requested or needed. The bartenders were amazing. They were on the ball the entire night. No one had to wait for any drinks and they were very friendly. We heard great things from all of our guests who were frequent visitors to the bar that they never had to say a word and their drink was waiting and cold.

I would have given them 5 stars but, they were a little pricey on the bar packages. That is what drove the cost way up. My husband's family likes to drink, so an open bar was necessary! The staff is beyond amazing and overly helpful. They really made the day what it was. Melissa and Andrea were the whole entire reason our day came to fruition. I thank them from the bottom of my heart! P.S. all of our guests were commenting on the beauty of the venue.

Nova is one of the most beautiful venues in St. Pete, Fl. We had our ceremony in the gorgeous outdoor bamboo courtyard, and our reception inside this stunning space. The decor was exactly as we had discussed in the planning meetings, the wedding ran on a tight timeline although it felt effortless, and everyone is still talking about what a beautiful and wonderful time they had at our wedding a month later. Nova's courteous and professional staff were amazing, attentive, and kept everything running like a well oiled machine. We had a magical night thanks to all of your at Nova. The team at NOVA made sure my wedding day was not just a night to remember but everything I hoped it would be. With all of my questions, concerns, and neuroses.. they never missed a beat! Everyone in my family was floored by how amazing and on top of everything they were. The venue was stunning in every way and I think I got no less than 50-60 compliments on it! I highly recommend NOVA as a wedding venue - it is such a unique and warm space - world's apart from the impersonal feel of a hotel ballroom. I couldn't have been happier.

The folks at NOVA gave us an unforgettable night. They followed every instruction I gave and were very attentive the day of the wedding. Wish we could have had a bit more interaction prior to the big day, but they handled everything perfectly. My favorite thing was the space. Front top to bottom, this place is great! I loved the bar (they even let my husband be a guest bartender) and the dance floor (along with lights and acoustics) was perfection! I'd also recommend DJ Jaey. He met with us to discuss music selection a few weeks prior and he couldn't have done a better job. I want to get married again and have him as my DJ. I give NOVA 5 stars because they made me feel like the biggest star and most special bride ever.

Originally I was looking to select a venue that was a "castle-like" structure and very elegant. After looking at several sites and searching online, a friend recommended that I check out Nova 535. When my fiancé, mom, and I visited the venue, we were sooo impressed by the cleanliness, willingness to fill requests of the bride/groom, friendliness of the staff... it was a diamond in the rough. The ability to adjust the lighting to my theme, opportunity to use a well-experienced DJ, confidence in a full day wedding coordinator that assisted with anything we needed (even before we asked)... down to the touch free bathroom features -- everything was so well-planned and you can expect the finest quality and commitment by all. Because this venue is so well taken care of, I was able to spend less on decor because it was simply unnecessary. All of our guests RAVED about how awesome, open, and FUN this event was... I have no doubt that it is greatly related to the fact that we chose NOVA 535 as our site. Highly recommend that you visit this venue to see if it's the perfect match for your special day as it was ours.

We recently had our wedding at Nova. From the moment we started planning with our provided wedding coordinator, we felt totally secure with our decision. Melissa was awesome to work with, and made sure everything was taken care of for our big day! Donna initially was the person to show us the beautiful interior and exterior of Nova, and made us feel very comfortable in our choice. Everything is taken care of for you, from floorplan to furniture set up for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Julie was also key in making sure our day ran smoothly (she even aided in helping me to remove my veil!). Jason, David, and Pete.. best bar service! I am extremely happy that we decided to use Nova 535 as our ceremony and reception venue. We've heard nothing but good things from our guests at the wedding. Excellent service and a killer atmosphere ... nothing compares to Nova!!

NOVA 535 was the perfect venue of my Oct wedding, my dream venue in fact!I had found NOVA and knew it was our prefect venue before my husband even purposed. The bamboo garden is beautiful and the indoor reception space is beyond amazing! The whole NOVA team was a pleasure to work with. Donna was great, extremely helpful, was able to get everything within our budget, and was always quick to respond to every email or call. Kristin was professional and did a great job of bringing everything together and making the night go smoothly. I quality of service and all that is included at NOVA made the wedding planning process much easier. I couldn't have been happier.

I had looked a DOZENS of wedding venues and was losing hope - the second I walked into NOVA to check it out, I knew immediately it was THE place. Our wedding at NOVA was on 7.7.12 - I can't even express how perfect everything was, thanks to the help of Donna and especially Melissa, who is amazing. The help in planning was invaluable and I can't thank her enough for fielding my every question (and there were millions, believe me) and helping to make sure everything went perfectly. I am from NJ so that made is especially hard and Melissa was very accommodating to meet with me whenever I was in town and made the whole process seem easy. NOVA is by far the most modern, unique, FUN place to have a wedding and I can't count how many compliments we got on the venue and how it was the most fun and different wedding anyone has ever been to. My husband and I are not the traditional type, so NOVA was perfect for us. Everything from the in-house DJ (who was so personable and willing to play every song I asked for, no problems) to the bathrooms (which are awesome, don't laugh we all know a clean bathroom is a must) is great. Even when I was having issues with our caterer, Melissa was there to help out and make sure I had no worries. I wish I could get married again so I could relive that night, which wouldn't have been the same anywhere else. As any of you married folks now, you will forever compare any wedding you ever go to again to your wedding, and I honestly don't think that any other will ever compare, thanks to NOVA.

I thought Nova 535 was an amazing place. It was beautiful. I had no regrets with choosing Nova 535 for my wedding reception. It was everything I had dreamt of and more. !! All the guest that were there, told me it was the absolute favorite reception. That's everything looked so beautiful ! I would not have change a thing. I'm a very happy bride. We had our wedding reception at NOVA 535 on April 13th. The help that we received from Donna, Melissa, and Jennifer was amazing. The venue provided such a great experience for everyone. The atmosphere that NOVA 535 provides for your wedding guarantees a great night. If you can have your wedding here I would highly recommend it.

I knew Nova was the place we would get married as soon as we walked in the door. It just felt like “us”. We really wanted to celebrate our wedding somewhere that reflected our personalities, reminded us of the type of local place that brought us together as a couple, and could support our vision for a unique, unconventional, modern, and fun yet classy wedding. The building is unassuming from the outside, but inside, the raw quality of the exposed brick, industrial sized fan, hardwood floors, and wrought iron railings perfectly blended with the modern art, posh upstairs suites, award-winning bathrooms, and unobtrusive technology. At Nova, we were able to host our entire event, from ceremony and cocktail hour to reception, flipping the main floor from a ceremony space to a sit-down dinner space. Our guests were able to stay only a few miles away in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg, which gave us the opportunity to introduce them to a part of Florida that has been a big part of our lives.

WOW! WOW! WOW! NOVA 535 and their employees MADE my wedding day! We got married 04/28/12 and had our reception here and it honestly couldn't have been more perfect! Donna and Melissa are AMAZING to work with! Donna made me feel like I was the only bride she was dealing with. She was always there when I had a question or needed something. And Melissa took my decorations and flowers, etc and made the room look even more stunning than I pictured! Everything went smoothly the day of because of her! The bartenders, DJ Jaey - (I HIGHLY recommend him), security, EVERYTHING was worth EVERY penny! If I could do it all over again, I would pick NOVA every time! They made us feel like celebrities at our reception. I can't say enough amazing things about this place. If you're on the fence about using them, push yourself off and sign the contract! I promise you it will be one of the best decisions you ever make!

My daughter and son in law used Nova 535 as their venue. I live in another state and was not too much help. Whenever I had a question, I could count on a call back or a quick email with answers to all my questions. The planner knew how to handle all of the details and worked every minute of the reception to keep things on time and organized. We all sat back and enjoyed a unique setting and a beautiful evening indoors and outdoors.

Couldn't have chosen a better venue. The wedding coordinator was great. Guests still haven't stop talking about the venue saying that it was absolutly beautiful and very unique as most Florida weddings are on the beach.

This was the absolute best venue! They include tables chairs, linens, plates, glasses, bar staff, lighting - everything but food! The coordinators Melissa and Donna worked with me every step of the way to help me get my timeline and schedule perfect. Then Melissa stepped it up even further and had her clipboard in hand day of to tell everyone where to go at what time. I didn't even know that was part of the package! They were so wonderful and kind about the clean up and setting up before hand (making a huge mess with the flowers...) I will recommend this place to anyone who has any sort of party that needs to be planned everyone should experience such a great hosting venue!
