NPD Events

This review is specifically for floral design from NPD Events. My goal is to share my experience with NPD, especially since they are our venue's “Preferred Vendor.” Go with another florist for your special day. Nayra from NPD discussed my vision in July 2021. Our wedding colors were burgundy, blush and specifically orange/pink roses. I showed her an image of my dream bouquet and asked for blush roses to be added. She said she would order the roses as soon as I paid my first deposit. Nayra said she would update me if unable to obtain orange roses. I told her I understood and was aware of supply chain issues. Orangey-pink roses were an integral part of my entire vision. Ceremony start time was 5pm. I received a text from Nayra at 3:08pm “Happy wedding Day! I wanted to let you know that unfortunately, we were not able to get the orange roses. We really tried but they aren't available right now. You still have a beautiful bouquet ” I did not see the text message as I was in the middle of wedding pictures at our hotel and getting ready to leave for the venue. This was the FIRST time hearing that orangey-pink roses flowers were not obtained. I arrived at the venue at 4pm on the day of my wedding, I was excited to see my florals. My heart sank when I saw my bouquet, bridesmaids’ bouquets, boutonnière, corsages and flower girl petals. To my disappointment my bouquet was small and roses were already turning brown and it definitely not worth $185. Also, all arrangements had WHITE flowers in them, we NEVER discussed white flowers in any of the arrangements. I immediately spoke with Nayra asking her to please remove all the white flowers from all the arrangements. White flowers in Chinese culture is used for funerals. After explaining, Nayra pushed back to say she texted me about not being able to get my orange roses. I asked her why she didn’t try to call me? No answer. I asked again to remove all the white flowers. Also, before they “corrected” the flowers, they substituted burgundy roses for red carnations. Instead of relaxing 1 hour prior the start of my ceremony, I was scrambling to have white flowers removed from flower arrangements! Nayra remained unapologetic. I am very disappointed and saddened at the lack of communication. I feel it was unprofessional to not call and only notify me via text less than two hours before my ceremony start time. She did not make an effort to reach out to my coordinators either at my venue or my Day of Coordinator. In addition, the quality of the flowers that we did have for the ceremony were already turning brown, not part of my wedding color scheme and unimpressive. After our wedding, I had my Day of Coordinator call Nayra to see what she could do to turn me into a satisfied customer. We were looking for some compensation or possibly even a redo of my bouquet for a photo shoot with missing family members at a later time. Nayra was firm in the final product she gave us, and was again unapologetic and no attempt was made to make it right. As a bride, I hope no one else will go through this. My florals made up such a huge part of the day and it set the tone and theme of my wedding day. I wanted a Summer into Fall theme (orangey-pink, blush, burgundy) and got a Spring theme (blush, white and burgundy.) I am deeply saddened by the constant reminder that my theme for my wedding was not what I envisioned. I hope my review will help future couples make the right decision to go with another vendor.

I can’t express how much I enjoyed working with Carlos with NPD events. He was AMAZING and made all my dreams come true. I can’t imagine any other florist going as above and beyond as he did and for the price he offers. He is so patient and offered so much great advice. He is a saint! He not only offers flowers but rentals as well which was perfect to only have to go through one company. I wish I could attach photos of how how beautiful my ceremony and reception was. All my family and friends can’t stop talking about how beautiful he made our day.

NPD Events were terrific to work with from start to finish. When looking for a planner, I wanted someone professional and someone who could help me plan a day that I had been looking forward to for a long time. Unfortunately, because of COVID, our plans changed. However, Carlos always made me feel like everything was going to be okay and that my day would still be fantastic regardless of the circumstances. When we told Carlos we were thinking of having our ceremony in front of our house, he was excited and helped turn my home into dreamland for our small intimate ceremony. Carlos was there for me at every step of the planning process with recommendations and how to go about planning certain aspects of the day and even helped me think of how we should lay out our backyard. People have still kept messaging me about how GORGEOUS the florals were. All I told Carlos was to make it colorful, and it was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Everything was gorgeous, and Carlos was always one step ahead of what I needed. My favorite part of planning my event was meeting Carlos, who I would now consider a friend! There is nothing like having someone who understands the process and can help you every step of the way. Thank you, Carlos, for your support, planning, and creativity that went into making my day so special for my now husband and me! I could go on and on, but what are you still doing reading this post, go on and give them a call already! I promise you will not regret it!

I have nothing but good things to say about Carlos and Nayra at NPD Events. They did the flowers for my wedding, and I could not have been more impressed/obsessed with the bouquets. I got soo many compliments on the flowers throughout the night and for weeks after, including anyone who sees the wedding video. Check Yelp for photos of the bouquets. The photos speak for themselves. Very well priced, as well. So happy with this choice!

My now husband and I found out about NPD Events at a wedding show. We learned that they offer both wedding coordination and floral and decors. We loved the work they displayed at the wedding show and were also really amazed by their decors shown on their Instagram. Carlos and Nayra were very caring and generous of their time. They always made us feel comfortable and gave great ideas. Knowing how amazing their work was displayed on Instagram, we had no doubt they’d do an amazing job with our wedding. We just gave them the colors and some requests, but we pretty much trusted them with all the other details. It’s apparent that Carlos and Nayra go above and beyond behind the scenes and it shows in their work ethic. Carlos called me the day before the wedding letting me know that a certain flower I had requested had been quarantined so he was unable to get it from his usual floral provider. He said he wanted to make sure I got the flowers so he woke up extra early the next morning to drive to Los Angeles from Orange County just to see if he could find it. I was amazed by the extent of his commitment! The wedding ended up so beautiful. The guests kept telling us how beautiful the decors and flowers were! In summary, Carlos and Nayra exceeded our expectations. We loved working with them. I highly recommend NPD Events for both wedding coordination and florals/decors. There aren't enough words in the entire world to adequately describe how much love I have for NPD!!!! My husband and I got married at Coyote Hills Golf Course where they are a preferred vendor. We went to the wedding show and I INSTANTLY fell in love with their style! I walked away telling my husband "I WANT THAT ONE"! From there, it was an absolutely amazing experience. I was on a pretty tight budget because I'm cheap, but they were so amazing with working with it!!! Carlos also became my go to for any wedding questions especially with suggestions for the venue and I'm SO GLAD I listened to him!!! I felt so comfortable with him that I left him with all creative liberties for the wedding! BEST DECISION I EVER MADE!!!! Our wedding was above and beyond anything and everything we could have ever imagined. The space is beautiful, but the way the flowers were done made it so elegant and unique. My photographer who has shot the space before, was in tears because she'd never seen it look so beautiful and to this day my entire family is still in disbelief at how beautiful it all was! More than just making my wedding amazing, without a doubt, the best part was working with NPD. It felt like I was talking to a good friend the entire time, filled with laughs, joy, and an honest opinion. Carlos made me feel soooo at ease about getting everything ready for the wedding, and made the whole process extremely fun - which was really hard to do a lot of the time lol. Basically, my husband and I recommend them to everyone and we promise no one will regret booking them for any event in your life!!!

Working with NPD Events for the floral arrangements at my wedding was wonderful, start to finish! Carlos and Nayra were always responsive and made sure everything was perfect. Between my vision of an English garden and my now-husband's goal of tropical, Carlos put together the most beautiful, brightly colored arch, bouquet and centerpieces. Every single piece was stunning, and magically combined our very different visions, making the most beautiful setting for our wedding day. We had some tight time constraints for set up at the venue, but Carlos made it happen, and I could not be more grateful!! Highly, highly recommend NPD Events!

Wedding 2/23/2019 Carlos and Nayra are a wonderful team to work with. They were our florists and day of coordinators. I would highly recommend working with them for your big day! Everything turned out beyond beautiful.....and more importantly they made sure everything ran smoothly which was a huge stress reliever. Nayra and Carlos are AMAZING! They did all the coordinations for my wedding and they were hands down the best! I wouldn’t recommend anyone else besides this amazing duo! They truly are amazing at what they do! My whole day was flawless because of them!

Not only are Carlos and Nayra two of the most talented people in this industry, they are the kindest and most authentic people you will ever meet. I've had the honor of working with them and they blow me away with their masterpieces EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. My favorite thing to witness is the bride's reaction when they see their vision come to life. Not only are the florals absolutely stunning but they environment they create has you forgetting where you are. I appreciate their level of detail and their desire to make a couple's day the most perfect and magical day ever. If you don't hire them for your wedding or event, you're missing out!!

NPD Events were absolutely amazing! They exceeded our expectations by far and we were 100% happy with the way our flowers turned out! We were recommended to them by other friends who had them as their florist at their own weddings and we were so blessed to be able to use them as well! Absolutely would recommend them to anyone! Five Star all the way. NPD Events are professional florists from beginning to end. They absolutely delivered on my concept. They highlighted the venue and focused on what was important to me. They listened. I would recommend this company to anyone and will absolutely use them again as I work in the non-profit world and throw events all the time. They made my special day amazing.

Carlos and Nayra were everything I could have wanted in a coordinator/planner/florist and SO MUCH MORE! They did an absolutely gorgeous job with my wedding in June 2018. They were passionate, detail oriented, extremely friendly, and truly cared that my wedding turned out the way I had dreamed. NPD Events did our floral arrangements for our wedding on June 20. They were phenomenal! Carlos went above and beyond to make our wedding so beautiful. He is so fun and easy to talk to. He listened to all of my hopes and dreams for the floral and made it a million times better. His eye for floral design is amazing! He even added personal touches to my bouquet that meant so much to me! NPD Events went above and beyond expectations. Do not sell yourself short! NPD Events will not let you down!

NPD did our flowers for our wedding, and they went above and beyond. We just asked them to help with flowers (unfortunately, our venue didn't allow for a planner) but that didn't stop them from helping anywhere they could! If we had a question, they were happy to answer it for us! Day of the wedding, I had a few last-minute things come up, where we needed help but weren't able to be there at the venue when they came up, I called Carlos and Nayra and without hesitation, they stepped up and handled everything. They were strictly dedicated to making sure our day was perfect! We thought we had a very naturally beautiful location for our wedding before, but they transformed it! Our wedding would not have been as amazing as it was without them!

Where do I even start. We just got married at the end of last month. Carlos and Nayra did both the florals and the coordinating for our wedding. They did such an AMAZING job with our flowers, we had so many compliments from so many of our guests during and after our wedding. Many took centerpieces home and continued to get compliments about them. They completely surpassed our expectations. Not only that, they were amazing to work with, very responsive to e-mails, very accommodating, and what I loved MOST is that they didn't nickel and dime us at every turn like many other vendors we talked to during our shopping process. They were on time, organized, and really had artistic talent in arranging the aesthetics and placement of things. They also added candles, votives, and other small decor on their own accord, which they didn't tell us about and didn't charge us extra for. You can tell that they truly love their jobs and are passionate about just doing a great job and making things look beautiful. I think that's what separates the good from the best. As coordinators, I felt well taken care of and either Carlos or Nayra were always nearby to see if I needed water or my bouquet or shoes, etc etc etc. We had 172 guests and a wedding has many moving pieces and I'm sure they took care of many things behind the scenes that I wasn't even aware of, but they really took care of us. I would say definitely definitely go with them to make your wedding more beautiful than you can imagine. These guys have the vision!

This review is long over due. Carlos and Nayra are truly amazing. What they brought to our wedding NO one else could have done. This was due to their wonderful personalities, artistic eye, on-point organization and Carlos & I both loving the original Jurassic Park. We found them on Yelp and Carlos mentioned they offer flower services with their day of coordinating. He was extremely flexible with the flower demo- even driving all the way to my mom's house and set up the entire demo on her dining room table. He was fast and calculated my mom was so impressed with how organized and beautiful the table layout turned out. He incorporated my love for dinosaurs in the center pieces by making his own gold-covered mini dinosaurs to put through out the gorgeous succulents. We hired them for the day of coordination, but they did so much more. When I needed help or advice on anything Carlos was always so kind and helpful. He also made me feel very welcomed with all my questions- I had a lot lol. I was not sure how to decide some things like balancing how much foliage vs. roses/flowers to be in the decorations but they made EVERYTHING look beautiful while keeping our budget in mind. They built our flower archway too, video is on their Instagram! We had an outdoor wedding at a regional park in August 2017 and they made it look so elegant and beautiful. There were a few other details we were not sure of like where the wedding poster should stand but I knew I could trust Carlos and Nayra to take care of it. They even had the idea of putting up little fabric barriers to make our outdoor event more private- it turned out great they even put one between the restrooms so we could not see them during the reception. The day of the wedding was PERFECT. They had contacted all of our merchants for us ahead of time and assured everyone was on time- and Carlos even took care of a couple merchants we were having issues with. They really ensured no one would mess up our special day! Oh and did I mention they only had 2 hours to set everything up from chairs/tables/ building flower arch/everything? The park had strict guidelines and It was incredible they set the whole wedding up that fast while coordinating everything. Family and friends still tell us how nice/elegant our wedding was and they have never been to a wedding like that! This is a perfect team I would recommend NPD Events to anyone and encourage them to do flower services- they will make your wedding one of a kind.

The design and vision is what truly brings life to an event, and that was what I was looking for in our wedding. We explained the key elements of our initial ideas, but we needed someone to execute the vision and make it their own. Throughout the discussions with Carlos and Nayra, they listened to our ideas, built an incredible strategy, and put all these pieces of our wedding together seamlessly. When I entered our wedding, I was speechless! It was incredible to witness everything we had imagined come to life. Carlos and Nayra exceeded every expectation! To say that they went above and beyond, is a complete understatement. Throughout our time working together, they were always super responsive (communication is a huge thing for me and the very definition of professionalism), helped build and expand our vision, brought so many unique elements to our wedding we never even imagined, and have been such amazing people to work with! Today, I don’t look at Carlos and Nayra as just a wedding vendor; we have built an amazing friendship that I am so grateful for.
