***DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!!*** When I first booked with Tasneem she knew the venue and we had established a price. A month or two after she called me telling me that we had to increase the price for her to come decorate. Being that the case I asked her to at least add something to compensate the price increase (not like she offered). As to be expected the number of guests invited lowered to number of guests coming therefore, need for decorations also lowered. Not like that was going to lower the price, so I tried to change it for other decorations. What happened: STAGE-The goal was to have two arches and a candle wall plus two flower arrangements I saw at her store. I ended up with JUST the candle wall, NO arches (in our last encounter I had told her what leaves I wanted on the arches) and instead of flower arrangements, two white japanese trees! Huge difference! After talking to her she told me that´s what I ordered as if now somehow my taste suddenly had changed and I like the idea of having japanese trees (not fitting) instead of flowers. STAIRCASE-I wanted a green garland with white flowers starting from the bottom of the stairs. She put a green garland FAIR ENOUGH with white drapes (I hate drapes, never asked for drapes) and placed them badly, not the way I asked for and showed her on pictures. It looked tacky to me, I would have rather gone for nothing than the way she did it. CAKE-Simple: a hoop with green garlands on left bottom side and right upper side. That´s it. Well she placed plenty of pink roses on top destroying the simplicity of what I envisioned and breaking the color scheme. TABLE CENTERPIECES-Not exactly how I wanted it but overall looked good. She did good with the family table on the stage, I will give her that. PERSONAL DECORATIONS-I bought personal decorations: votives and candles and I asked her to add some small flowers in the votives, didn´t happen even though she said she would. I also asked her to add greenery on the welcome sign, she placed pink flowers. After the wedding day, I called to ask for some sort of compensation, she said she would review it and still haven´t heard anything back from her. She didn´t even acknowledge that maybe she had made some mistakes. For her, she did everything perfect and I am the one who apparently ordered things that had never been on my mind. I wouldn´t be surprised if she were to answer this email saying that she put all the effort and did EXACTLY what I asked for. I sent her a Powerpoint of things I asked her for vs what I got. Personally, not worth it at all. The impression I got is that it was all about the money and not about how to truly make it right on the day of or how to compensate you if there are mistakes. Very frustrating considering how expensive it is for what you might get. Now I see the pictures and unfortunately, I see all the decorative errors: the flower additions on the cake I did not want, the stage with no arches and japanese trees that feel out of place, and a very sad staircase with those horrible drapes. Basically, most cool picture spots are ruined because of those decorations. But according to her on the phone: I got exactly what I ordered, doesn´t matter if pictures sent prove otherwise. And too bad I can´t go back in time to point again the flower arrangements I asked for instead of trees. I would strongly recommend you to keep looking for another decorator!

We were so happy with our decision to hire Nu Trend to decorate our wedding event. We met with Ms. Tasneem once a few months before the event and described what we wanted for our wedding day. Since there were not pictures of *exactly* what we were looking for we were a little nervous about the final outcome, but her professionalism, friendliness and flexibility with options gave us assurance. On the day of the event, the room was ready a few hours before our start time, and the whole room looked fantastic, from the stage to the center pieces and everything in between. We cannot recommend Nu Trend highly enough.

We were absolutely blessed to have NuTrend Events do the decorations for our wedding. As far as I’m concerned, Tasneem Aunty is an absolute HERO for creating an aesthetic, sophisticated, calm, and comfortable **outdoor** wedding during the weekend of the historic Houston freeze. I will never have enough words to thank her for all of the last minute seating and decoration changes due to both the ongoing global pandemic and the unprecedented local weather. Tasneem Aunty spent a lot of time personally showing us her decor samples and listening to my vision for the big day. I genuinely appreciate her flexibility in holding video and phone client conversations with me and our families in order to be more cognizant of health recommendations during COIVD. She was polite, courteous, professional, and friendly throughout. She patiently worked through inspiration pictures with me, including detailed descriptions of my bridal bouquet (I love flowers!). The end result was stunning beyond my DREAMS! Everything from the staging (with its gorgeous flowing fabric and hanging flowers), to the golden, geometric centerpieces, the chiavari chairs, the sweetheart table, and the bouquet were BEAUTIFUL!!! I could not have found a better bouquet on Pinterest if I tried! I was filled with happiness. In the nights before our wedding, as the weather situation rapidly degraded and I panicked about the safety and comfort of our families in a clear top tent in the backyard, Tasneem Aunty called and arranged for TWO outdoor blow heaters FREE of charge. I had called vendor after vendor and store after store with no luck since these heaters, and all heaters, were sold out. However, she didn’t back down at the challenge, and she managed a miracle. She also personally came to our home on the morning of the wedding, in 32-degree-weather, and ensured that everything from the wedding garlands, to the dessert table were arranged just right. I was absolutely overwhelmed with gratitude for her presence. Her business is run with sincerity and NuTrend Events is absolutely sparkling with creative energy and vision. NuTrend Events was AMAZING to work with and I cannot recommend them enough for both their skill, as well as their exceptional generosity of heart and spirit. I would highly recommend them to anyone for their event decorations!

I completely agree that Nu Trends is a one stop shop for your decor and florist needs. Tasneem was so wonderful to us and helped us design the perfect wedding. We gave her a majority of the creative control and gave her the inspirations behind what we would like to see and she went above and beyond to make it happen. She even came with us to the venue to meet with the coordinator to ensure that all the requirements for the venue would be met by her team. On the day of the wedding, my Husband and I were blown away by the amazing décor and our guests are still talking about it. We could not have had out dream wedding without the help of Tasneem and her team!
