My wife and I have held back on writing a negative review for quite some time but we’ve reach the point where we have had enough. We know we are not the only couple that are having this experience with Daniel as well. We understood that he may have been overbooked and everyone is busy but there has been no communication with Daniel within the past couple months. He hasn’t responded to any of our calls and messages and has missed every deadline he has promised us for our videos. We know he is still active because he still getting payments for his services on Venmo. From the start of booking Daniel, there was a lack communication. We had to follow up numerous times to get a response. Which we get, everyone is busy. But when it got closer to our wedding day it became more worrying. What really bothered us that we had to get real assurance that he would be there for our wedding day. He didn’t call us to outline and go over wedding details until the NIGHT before our wedding as we were getting ready to go to our rehearsal dinner. Something like that needs to be done at least a week before the wedding. We are at the point where we are looking to take legal action. We paid Daniel in full for his services and all we have received is a rough cut of our highlight video. Who knows if and when we will receive our final videos. Mind you, our wedding was in October of 2021. Our last promised deadline was mid-May and we haven't heard back since March. I have worked in video production for over 10 years and one thing is that you live and die by your deadlines and constant communication. If you are looking to hire Daniel for you big day. Just keep in mind our experience and hold off on paying in full until you receive your final product.

Daniel was amazing to deal with at the beginning of our hiring process, however he showed up a few minutes late and was super unprofessional with the rest of my vendors (Photographer & Coordinator). Today makes a year that I got married and I have yet to receive my video. All he sent us was the short preview but the 2 hr long video that is part of the contract was never received. I have reached out to him multiple times and have the emails to prove it. Not only does he not respond but refuses to send me the video even though in my last email I asked him to please send it as is, I don't even care if it's not edited I just want the important clips that did not make the preview. At first he would have all these sorry excuses, that he just moved and needs time to unpack, then that he was dealing with personal issues etc etc. And it' not a tip issue because on top of paying for the package we tipped both him and his assistant very well the night of the wedding. Do yourself a favor and avoid this heartache and look for a more reliable/professional videographer.

My best advice: STAY AWAY. It is unfortunate that I have to write this review, but we are now 8 months post-wedding and we do not have a single completed video from Dan (not even the highlight clip that is part of our package). He constantly ignores my calls, texts, and emails, and whenever I am finally able to get a response from him, he always makes up an excuse like saying he didn’t have access to his google voice (but also ignores our emails), or that he was changing his living situation (which it seems based on other reviews is an excuse he has used for quite some time). He then promises to get back to me “formally” a couple of days later, and then never replies nor answers any of my attempts at communication. Dan promises his clients that he will have their wedding videos completed within a couple of months after their wedding, but continues taking clients without actually finishing the videos he already needs to complete. Working with Dan has been a complete nightmare and I hate to say this, but I don’t know at this point if we will ever get a completed wedding video. I can only say that I wish that I had taken the negative reviews seriously before deciding to go with Dan, as it appears my experience working with him has been nearly identical to that of multiple other couples. Please do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on a more established company and avoid going through the same situation that myself as well and others have been through while working with Dan and Nylad Media. Sadly, I know that writing this review likely means he will never complete our wedding video, but at this point we have been left with no choice, as Dan has already taken the excitement out of such a special part of our big day.

I am beyond frustrated with Daniel’s service. His communication with me throughout this whole process has been completely unprofessional and inexcusable. Daniel said he would contact me 1 week before the wedding (which was October 2,2021) to go over the timeline. I never received a call/text/email from him so I decided to message him myself Sept 27th. He said he would get back to me formally later that day. Sure enough he never did, and I had to reach out once again on Sept 29th with no response. At this point, I wasn’t even sure if he was coming to the wedding or not and this is not something I needed to deal with just three days before my wedding. I finally got a hold of him on Sept 30th and discussed my timeline for the day, and thankfully he showed up to the wedding.   Let’s fast forward to now. I still do not have my highlight video or instagram video from him and the only thing I have is the raw footage. It is now 8 months since my wedding when we were told it would take an average of 2-3 months. I have been back and forth with him for months and I have been so patient with all his excuses of taking on too many weddings or his moving situation. He has given me deadline after deadline which he has not delivered on. Instead of him reaching out, I’ve had to reach out myself to see what is going on and when I will be getting my video.  I haven’t spoken to him in almost 1 month after several attempts at contacting him (via text, call AND email). I cannot express enough how disappointed I am with his service and do not recommend the stress that it has given me to any future brides. Please do yourself a favor and do not book with Nylad Media

BEWARE! BEWARE! We have not received our wedding video. We reached out to Dan in early 2022 to inquire about the estimated date to receive our wedding video (wedding was Oct, 21). After weeks of no response, he finally emailed with an estimated receipt date of mid-April. We are going into June, and we have not heard from him. We have called and sent several emails and we have not received a video or an update. We now have to consider legal actions..ugh! don't waste your time!

PLEASE be very weary when reading reviews, started to panic because someone and their family members (or friends) wrote a few bad reviews this month. If you want to contact Dan, send him a text or call him after 4:00 p.m. he will get back to you asap. I was a bride in 2021, have had 0 issues and Dan has been professional and very helpful this entire time. Everything was beautiful and went so smoothly on our wedding day. We could not have been happier or picked a better videographer to do the footage for our wedding.

Unprofessional and immature. It really saddens me to be writing this review as I’ve still not received any sort of proof that Dan has even started on our wedding video. Let me start by saying that we picked Dan based on the videos he has on his site. Everything was exactly what we wanted out of our wedding video. When having our first interview with him I could see that he seemed a little less experienced but I figured it was something we could deal with if our videos came out like the others. We signed our contract. We paid for drone footage, raw footage and to have our video expedited in 2 weeks. All things he offered when we spoke to him and on his site. We signed our contract very early on so I was expecting for him to check in with us every so often just to make sure he had all he needed from us to obtain the best footage. (Our photographer regularly checked in with us and anytime I reached out to her she would reply within 24 hours.) Dan, however, never reached out again. As wedding day got closer I emailed him almost 3 times to 2 different emails to try and reach him and I left him a voicemail and never got any reply back. I had my husband call him from his cell phone and Dan picked up right away. He then said he’d call us a week before the wedding, he did and asked me about 2-3 questions and said it was all he needed. Dan showed up wedding day, thankfully. As we were afraid we might be getting stood up. He was very awkward and seemed to be missing every time we needed him the most. I’m not sure where he was or what he was recording but there were a couple times I had to have people go find him to proceed with our timeline. After the wedding I reached out to Dan almost 3 weeks later (mind you we paid for the 2 week expedited service) asking if our video had been completed. He let us know that he was busier than he expected to be and it would not be possible to have the video done in two weeks (obviously, as I’m talking to him 3 weeks later). He gave us a refund for the service and told me he’d have the video done by end of November. End of the first week of December I reach out to Dan again, asking for our video and he says that he’s in the process of moving (which is the same excuse he gave us as to why he hadn’t reached out to us before the wedding) and he’ll update me on how much progress he’s done on the video. At this point, I’m very frustrated and upset since we should of had our video a week ago according to his own email. Needless to say, our contract was signed to have our video up to 15 weeks after the wedding. We are now past that point. I’ve sent Dan about 4-5 emails asking for updates, our video or any information at all and it’s been a month since I’ve gotten any reply. Do not use nylad media! He is a joke! I posted about the issues we were having with him on a Facebook wedding group and a wedding coordinator said that he does this to all his clients. He sends raw footage right away so that they leave good reviews but then they never receive their actual wedding video. I am so upset and heartbroken. We saved up our money to have a videographer and he is not cheap. We want our wedding video and I’m sad to report that I don’t think we’ll ever get it. Brides, do not get your hearts broken!!! Dan is unreliable and unprofessional!

Dan and his crew were very down to earth! They made an absolute amazing video for us that we get to look back on for the rest of our lives!

I would highly recommend Nylad Media, we hired them for our wedding back in July of last year. They were incredible! Dan and his team were a pleasure to have at our wedding. They made the whole process from the beginning of the booking process to the final video very smooth for us. These guys are highly talented and super creative with what they do! They made sure to capture all of the moments we asked them to for our day and we love it!!!!!

We were looking for a videographer and we found Dan. He was an incredible videographer for my wedding. He was kind, professional, and was incredibly patient with us. He got so many good angles captured entire ceremony and reception in quality concise package. We were really excited to watch the final product. I'll definitely hire him again for future events.

I found Dan through a Google search for wedding videographers. His website is professional and really reflects his true work. From the start, Dan was very communicative and willing to work with my budget. I was on the fence about investing in a wedding videographer because I was trying to do everything on a tight wedding DIY budget. I LOVE how the video came out. It was perfectly on budget and a beautiful film. He listened to what we wanted, showed up on time, and worked well with our photographer. It was a pleasure to work with Dan and his assistant.

We hired Daniel and his team for our wedding in 2019, and it was one of our beat wedding decisions. He was easy to communicate with, and his talent is amazing. He produced an incredible same day edit video for us on the day of our wedding, a beautiful highlight video, and all of our raw footage....these keepsakes are memories we will treasure for the rest of our lives. The quality of the videos were completely beyond our expectations, and our friends and family were so impressed. Daniel has a great eye for detail and is so talented. We are so pleased and impressed with Daniel and his team, and we highly recommend him to anyone (including friends and family) looking to capture their big day professionally!

Daniel and his assistant were timely and professional on our wedding day, and both were very encouraging and happy to work with us. It was easy to reach Daniel via email and he was very responsive, even to one of my last minute midnight questions. Thanks for the hard work guys!

Daniel was unprofessional from the very beginning. We scheduled a phone call to go over details and he completely forgot to call me. I had to email him to remind him an hour later. He later withheld a contract with us until we sent him our day-of timeline. My planner confirmed that she sent it over to him and he just kept saying he never received it. After settling all of the details, he told me that he "accidentally" double booked himself and was not able to film our wedding. This left us without a videographer 25 days before our wedding and in a panic. I would not recommend to Nylad Media to anyone looking for peace of mind and an accommodating vendor.

I hired Daniel for my wedding reception. I liked his enthusiasm from the beginning, and my husband and I had a great time shooting with him and his assistant at our beautiful venue. Daniel instantly understood what I wanted to capture, which made the whole experience even more exciting for me. I also appreciated the amount of time he spent explaining what he does, and things that are important to him, as well as all the options he provides in his different packages.

Daniel and his assistant were a great videography team at our wedding! Daniel performed a thorough walkthrough of the timeline the week of the wedding and gave helpful suggestions as well as an idea of what he would focus on shooting, something we really appreciated to set our minds at ease. He is dedicated to his customers, showing up on time, staying later than contracted in order to get the shots he needs, and making sure we were happy with the content. Daniel showed up in formal attire and clearly had a plan and an eye for a good shot. His work is beautiful and he is clearly a talented professional! I felt so lucky that I chose Daniel as our videographer. His work perfectly showed his sensitivity to our wedding atmosphere, and made every second of his video breathtaking. During the discussion of minor editing, he was very patient and respected all my feelings. I would certainly recommend Daniel and hope you don't miss this amazing young artist !

I highly recommend Daniel. He was great about incorporating my ideas but was also clearly a pro and helped to direct us to get great shots. Looking at his videos compared to others in the same price bracket I initially thought it was too good to be true but I'm so glad I went with him. The final product absolutely blew be away. He got way more hours of footage than other vendors were willing to which made a big difference and since it rained on our wedding day he even went back to the venue to get some additional footage as a surprise. Truly above and beyond. Go with Nylad Media, you won't be disappointed!

Daniel and his partner were great. They were easy to work with and stayed out of our way (in a good way) while capturing all the important moments. Daniel might be young, but his work is better than 3/4 of the people out there, and his price can't be matched for the quality of the work. My wife loved the highlight reel so much, she watched it 8 times the first day we received it. Would definitely recommend Daniel for future events.

We had planned to forego hiring a photographer due to costs. Then one day I got an email from our venue recommending this vendor. I took a look at one of their highlight videos and was sold! The videographers had captured such beautiful moments. The picture quality was ethereal and had to be done with top notch equipment! I immediately called Daniel Ramirez and discussed the different package options. He offered affordable prices in comparison to many of the competition out there and his work was way better! Daniel was so flexible that he even accommodated us when we decided to increase our package at the last minute! Literally a couple of hours before our wedding! Daniel was laid back, professional and he was able to maintain a balanced demeanor amidst the high energy of that day. He gave gentle direction without being pushy, to capture unforgettable moments! He has a great eye and will be just what you need on your special day!

We’re extremely happy with the creative video services provided by Daniel Ramirez and his assistant Torrez on our wedding day! Months before our wedding, we selected our wedding video package after discussing customized services with Daniel in several conversations. Because I myself was a wedding videographer over twenty years ago, I had many detailed questions and creative ideas in mind. Daniel exceeded my expectations with his professionalism, business savvy, and video skills. Leading up to our wedding day, we went over our video shoot list and Daniel offered very helpful suggestions to make our day special. On our wedding day, Daniel was very patient with our delay and last minute changes because of the rain. We can say without a doubt that we don’t remember a time during the ceremony when we didn’t see Daniel and Torrez meticulously recording our events during the day. We found out about this vendor through a friend. We were told about the great service and professionalism they bring to represent their company. We figured we'll give it a try for our own wedding. And sure enough, they became one of our favorite vendors all throughout the event. They listened and fulfilled all of our requests and suggested a lot of good points to make the experience unforgetabble. Next time we need a videographer we know who we need to call. Daniel and Torrez are true professionals and they know exactly what to do and how to do it right. P.S. Noone beats their rate, trust me we looked around. Their service is not just high quality, but also very affordable.

We stumbled upon Daniel on Wedding Wire. We knew we wanted a video for our wedding. Many members of our family live overseas and couldn't all make it. So we knew this way they could share our special day through a video. Daniel was responsive and easy to hire as a vendor. On the day we had Daniel and Leo, they were amazing on that day. They went above and beyond what we expected. Our videos are beautiful!! The quality is equal that of those other vendors charging $5000 or more. So don't hesitate to book with Daniel! They are young but have such a bright future!
