VENUE: +Plenty of free parking for guests +Large enough that I was able to have dinner tables for 280 people without having to have tables placed on the dance floor (so no one had to move later on in the night) +Very nice room that is kept up well +Bar inside the reception hall +The items that they include in the package are a good value bc at some other locations you get charged for some of the things that are included at the OCCC +Very reasonably priced for a venue that is in Milwaukee county +Close to hotels that offer shuttle services to the guests that are staying at the hotel FOOD: +Brossmans catering has GREAT food!! We had their buffet option at our wedding and have been to many there that have used it and they have lots of really good choices (it is hard to pick which ones to go with) and they have plenty of food so people will not leave hungry!! +Brossmans is also very accommodating with any food/dietary needs/concerns +Very reasonably priced food for a venue that is in Milwaukee county SERVICE: +The wedding planners and corporate event planners are very good at what they do. They are very organized and think of every detail. They are also great about accommodating the needs for the event. +The bartenders are also great. They are very friendly and can handle a large line of people waiting for drinks quickly. +Overall things ran very seamlessly…they have obviously had a ton of experience hosting large events!!

We had a phenomenal time at the Oak Creek Community Center for our reception. Sue Kobs is a goddess. She made sure that everything ran smoothly and had the hall looking beautiful upon our arrival. She alleviated so many of my fears when we met with her to get everything ready. We used Brossman's as our caterer through the OCCC. They were fantastic! The guests raved about our food. It was hot when it came out and stayed warm through the whole time it was out there. The caterers were all friendly and courteous. I would definitely recommend using this venue! It was a beautiful place with wonderful people.

This venue exceeded my expectations! It is a beautiful venue that you don't have to share with another wedding. If you book the OCC, you are the only people there. Sue, who is the person in charge of working with the couples, is such a blessing! She will work with you with whatever ideas you want. She is always prompted with responding to emails or phone calls. She was very helpful and the day went off without a hitch. The staff was friendly and the caterers that we used through OCC (you can choose from 3 different ones) provided outstanding service. Everything is reasonable priced (and trust me we did our research at other places) and we were able to afford other things due to their amazing prices and quality. We are still have guests talk about what a beautiful space it was!

The wedding coordinator was amazing. Sue helped out so much and was very flexible to accomodating anything we wanted. We had our ceremony and reception there. I would not change a thing. The Brossmans catering was one of the options through the center and we are very pleased with our choice. We got so many compliments on the food. The only thing I did not like about the center is the decorations provided for the stage background. They gave us fake flowers and greek pillars, which is outdated to a young couple like us. We got different decorations to add to theirs and it looked okay in pictures.

Oak Creek Community Center was such a pleasure to work with. They ensured that everything was set up exactly how we wanted. We didn't even have to go to the hall the morning of to set anything up, they handled that themselves. There is a rental fee and they don't provide food themselves, but they have specific caterers they work with to ensure the food is of high quality. We didn't have to provide much decorations as the hall is beautiful when it is done up. We had 220 people at the wedding and had more than enough room in the hall! The dance floor is huge! At one point I think we had 80 people on the dance floor doing the cupid shuffle and somehow we all managed to fit! I loved this venue and had a great time at the reception!

This is a newer building with lots of free parking and a beautiful ball room that fits up to 300 guests. It also has a big dance floor! The wedding coordinator, Sue, is wonderful and has lots of good suggestions for other vendors. And the best part is, they don't nickel and dime you.

I thought they did a great job. I dropped off my stuff for the candy bar, for the cupcakes that a vendor was bringing and they set everything up for me. Sue Kobs(The person who helped me) she was amazing, she helped me with any and every question I had. Loved it!!!

There are so many great things about the Oak Creek Community Center, I don't know where to start! They really know how to put on a wedding reception! We have gotten nothing but compliments on the venue and staff! Sue, who books the events, is wonderful to work with! She helped us along every step of the way! The facility is beautiful: It has it's own parking lot (so parking is not an issue), it is handicap accessible, there is an atrium with seating and plenty of room for guests to arrive/hang out in, and a large, beautiful ballroom! The staff goes out of their way to make sure you have everything you need and checks back throughout the night to make sure you are still doing great! I would highly recommend this place!

My wedding reception at the OCCC was wonderful and the staff was the best. Sue Kobs was such a great help during the planning of my wedding and on our wedding day made my husband and I feel so special by making sure we were happy and everything went exactly as planned.. The quality of service was excellent, and I will recommend the OCCC to everyone. I look forward to working with the OCCC again.

Everyone here is soo friendly. They work around your schedule. Up until the morning of, I was able to change the wedding detail. I didnt like how tables were arranged and they had no problem changing them, Would highly recommend. We went with Brossmans for our food and had all raving reviews. We also had a dinner for 300 and a reception for more.

I had a wedding of 275 people at this location. I was able to rent this location AND have dinner/alcohol for under $7000. Plus they set everything up for me and tore it down the next day. All I had to do was drop the materials off. They were awesome to work with and I would do it there all over again!

Center was convenient for us because we live in the area and it was right by the church. They do the decorating for you. You just tell them what you want and they make it happen.

I give the OCCC 5 stars! From the moment we toured the facility their staff has been helpful, knowledgable, friendly and extremely professional. Sue the wedding coordinator was so wonderful and helpful with anything we needed or asked for! The ball room was beautiful and I love that they only do one event at a time so we were very well taken care of and the only event there that evening. We chose Brossman's as ou caterer from their list. We had a sit down dinner with tenderloin steak or stuffed chicken. We paid extra to upgrade our potato choice to twice baked potatoes and it was worth it! They're huge, delicious and I swear I keep hearing about those things from all my guests! The head waiter was wonderful and kept us on schedule during the dinner when our DJ who was supposed to, unfortunately did not. The food and drink were extremely reasonably priced. We also appreciated that linens, lighting for the head table and centerpieces were included in the room rental fee and not added on at inflated rental prices like many of the other venues we looked at in the south side/airport area. We received many compliments on the food, and how beatiful the ballroom was for our event! I would recommend the OCCC to any southside couple who is looking to have a beautiful wedding reception at a reasonable price!
