Oak Glen Golf Club - Stillwater

This venue was a dream come true! From communication with the team to the ceremony and reception, it was an amazing day! They have everything you could think of from renting centerpieces to extra tables to kegs for the reception to seating for everyone to amazing bride and groom suites to get ready in. It was truly an amazing experience. The food and beverages were reasonable priced considering we had a sit down dinner with food for the bridal party throughout the entire day. We only had one complaint throughout the dinner, which was that the kitchen staff was very loud in the back, therefore some guests near the kitchen doors had a tougher time hearing the toasts. Other than that, we had nothing but complements on the venue as a whole, layout of the space, and convenience of having both the ceremony and reception at one place. Our guests talked about how nice the view was with all the big windows and how good the food was! We could not have picked a more perfect place to have our special day!

It was a perfect Reception Venue for us! Samantha and the Oak Glen crew were very accommodating when it came to decor, vendors, timeline and their amazing food selection for our cocktail hour/dinner/specialty shots/and late night bites! All of our customizations made our day feel that much more special. From the moment we sent in our inquiry, everything ran very smoothly! The whole process was very enjoyable and the day truly turned out perfectly! Once again, Samantha was quick to respond to emails as questions came up during the process and helped with recommendations when we needed it. Highly recommend this location too! Minutes away from downtown Stillwater or Rudy’s rooftop in WBL!

We loved having our wedding at Oak Glen! Our wedding was in November, and Oak Glen was perfect for that cozy feel we were looking for. Samantha is fantastic and she went above and beyond to make our day perfect! The food was good, and the staff was very efficient and attentive. We wouldn’t have changed anything about our wedding and cannot recommend Oak Glen enough!

Absolutely beautiful wedding venue! The rooms to get ready in are HUGE. Holds a lot of guests and overall a perfect experience for us. Samantha was so much help to making our day beyond perfect! The updates that have been done to this venue are beautiful, the decor that comes with it, the wooden farm doors, the chandeliers and honestly everything! Highly recommend

Oak Glen was an absolutely perfect place for us to have our wedding reception!! On top of it being a beautiful location and a beautiful room, they provided very comprehensive packages for competitive rates, and Samantha was very helpful throughout the planning process! They worked well with our vendors and provided excellent service to our guests. We have friends who want to use Oak Glen for their weddings now because of how wonderful the experience was!

Oak Glen was great! We had our wedding rehearsal, grooms dinner, ceremony, and reception here. They answered all of my questions quickly. On the day of everything looked beautiful and ended up just how we wanted. We got lots of compliments.

Oak Glen golf course was simply amazing. I cannot thank them enough for their effort in making our day run so smoothly. Samantha the wedding coordinator there was the most professional and nicest person to work with. She was ahead of the game and helped us every step of the way. Wedding planning can be stressful but Sam and her team took so much of that stress away. Our wedding turned out so beautiful, and we had so many compliments at our gorgeous the venue was. Highly recommend this golf course if you are searching for a venue!

We had our wedding reception at Oak Glen and it was truly amazing! From the very start, we loved the look of the natural rustic wood, the huge classy bar, and the surrounding beautiful grounds of the golf course. We worked with Samantha, planning everything from start to finish. She was extremely helpful, informative and most of all, communicative leading up to the big day! Everything went smoothly throughout the night! We also received a lot of compliments from our guests about the food, which we also thought was incredible! Oak Glen is a beautiful venue for a reception and you can be assured you are in good hands with Samantha helping you coordinate everything along the way!

This place as a venue is GORGEOUS! We rented the ceremony site and reception hall. We picked the ceremony site by the willow trees. It was everything we could have ever dreamed of! It turned out absolutely BEAUTIFUL! The willow trees hanging down with a pond and fountain behind us made for a picture-perfect wedding ceremony. The reception hall is amazing! The best part about it is, it’s such a pretty place, with its wood interior, vaulted ceilings and massive bay windows, you don't have to add many decorations, besides center pieces on the tables, because it has its own beauty to it. The day of the wedding all the gentlemen helping us were extremely helpful and were always there for us when we needed them. The real star was a gentleman named Cam. He is a total ROCKSTAR!! This guy was the biggest help for our rehearsal dinner and on the day of. He was our absolute go to guy for everything. Whatever we needed or asked of him he did. He never pushed back or complained. So why 3 stars? I'll tell you... When we first booked this venue, we signed with a gentleman named Matt, who was awesome. Sadly, he left for another position and we got stuck with SAMI SANDERS. She was possibly the WORST person we worked with throughout our entire wedding planning experience. I will give her this, she was very good at fielding questions from us, we had a ton, and giving us an answer. The problem was if it wasn't a straight forward question that could be answered easily, she was TERRIBLE. Anytime we had a request of some sort she ALWAYS put up a fight or acted as if we were inconveniencing her. She always had an excuse and was never willing to go to bat for us on anything! Going into our rehearsal and day of we were terrified that our wedding was going to end up terrible because she was so bad at her job and didn't care in any way that things went well. She was terrible at communication, days between emails, we didn't even find out she replaced Matt until about 6 months after he left, the only reason we found out was because WE reached out. To get her to respond to my calls I had to request info from her through the website, the place where prospective clients go through, I also had to call the GM to finally get her to email me. She isn't proactive at all. We always had to be the ones to reach out about tasting, viewings of the venue, our rehearsal times, EVERYTHING! We asked her point blank if she was our point of contact for the rehearsal and the day of, she said yes. She then decided to not show for the rehearsal without telling us, however that was the best thing that happened because that’s when we met Cam. Then the day of we didn't see her until after dinner was being served, we saw her for all of 20 seconds and then never to see or hear from her again. She is truly an AWFUL event coordinator and desperately needs some guidance or to find a new field of work. Had she been the coordinator when we first viewed this place we would have never booked because anyone with eyes can see she's extremely incompetent in her job with just a simple conversation. However, we are extremely happy that we had our wedding here because it turned out perfect, no thanks to her. I would absolutely recommend this as a venue because it’s beautiful, just keep in mind you will be doing EVERYTHING and will have ZERO help from the one person you're supposed to be able to depend on, Sami Sanders. Everything, except Sami, was awesome here!

Oak Glen was the perfect place to host a ceremony and wedding! I could not have been more pleased with their communication - Sami was an absolutely pleasure to work with. It rained on Saturday, which moved our ceremony to be inside and it stilled turned out to be absolutely stunning. Their prices are great, and staff are just as wonderful. I seriously don't have a single complaint and wish I could rate it 6/5 stars. Highly recommend.

Oak Glen was a beautiful ceremony site and a great place for the reception! All of the food was delicious and Matt did an amazing job of working with us to fit our preferences!

I celebrated my reception at Oak Glen in October and it was awesome! We had a wonderful time and the food was excellent. We had the Parmesan crusted fish, sirloin, and stuffed chicken breasts - I'm still getting compliments on the food. the venue is beautiful with a permanent bar and good staff. Matt, the activities director is great to work with.

Our wedding was held outside, on the golf course. The backdrop was very mature, beautiful willow trees and a pond with a fountain. The venue was wonderful to work with, very easy and accommodating. We asked for a few nontraditional things (circle layout, black and tan unity ceremony), and everything was welcomed with open arms. I would highly recommend Oak Glen Golf Club to anyone looking for a venue.

With the large dining room and the scenic golf course and pond, this venue gave us exactly what we were looking for. The food was excellent!

Oak Glen was the perfect wedding venue! The food was amazing! And the staff did an excellent job at making our day completely special and one of kind. The banquet coordinator was always there to answer any questions we had and everything turned out exactly like he said it would. We had extra children show up to the reception, but they handled it without incident - found then seats and got them meals. We are so thrilled with our experience at Oak Glen; we wouldn't change a thing!

I had my reception at Oak Glen in Stillwater. I lived all my life in Stillwater, so this seemed like the perfect place even though I never went to any events there. They just remodled the place last summer, so everything is up-to-date. They do beautiful head table, cake, gifts, and coffee table decorations for a very small fee-if anything...depending on how much you want. The service is fantastic, along with their food! I would recommend this to anyone wanting their wedding East of the Twin Cities or someone from western WI. The only downfall possibly is the L shaped layout and the smaller dance floor.

Our reception was perfect, Oak Glen is beautiful. you can relax and stand out on the deck and view the course, rip it up on the dance floor, or mingle at the all oak bar. We got rave reviews from our guests waht a wonderful place to have a wedding reception, it was so elegant, but not over the top. The food was delicious too.
