Oasis Salon & Day Spa

My whole bridal party had hair and makeup come to us and they did a great job!! Highly recommend them!

Ralph was my stylist and Amy my makeup artist - and they are both fantastic - I could not have been happier with the results. I choose this salon based on their location, online reviews, (including the knot) and the bridal section on the Oasis website. It was a little anxiety producing not knowing what to expect, having never visited the salon prior to my wedding day, but they could not have done more to put me at ease. Ralph cut and styled my hair - and I absolutely loved him. He listened to what I wanted and was extremely kind. If I lived closer I would have a new stylist! Amy did a terrific job as well - one of the first things my fiance noticed was how beautiful and natural my make-up looked (and he NEVER notices things like that!). I would not hesitate to recommend Oasis.

They did my makeup and mine and my bridesmaids manicures and pedicures. My makeup was beautiful and exactly what I wanted. The girls and I had a great time getting our nails and toes done!!

I had an awful experisnce with Oasis. When i was first looking for a salon last august a year before my wedding I went & talked to them and noticed they werent open monday, but my wedding was going to be on a monday (7/11/11) I went for my trial and they had just changed ownership and the new owners had no clue that i had an appt that day.I had to wait around 3 hours to get my hair and makeup done.The makeup artist wasnt the greatest but the hair stylest was really good so I figured I would just get my hair done there. About a 4 months later I get a call saying the old makeup artist quit and i would have to come in for another trial for my makeup. The new girl was even worse and had an attitude about everything! just not a pleasant person! There was a $300 deposit due that i sent in about 5 months before the wedding, and I sent in the contract saying what me and my bridesmaids wanted done for our hair. I heard nothing back until 31 days before my wedding. I got an invoice in the mail it listed the amount due for my hair and makeup- which was exactly how much i expected. the amount due for my bridesmaids hair and makeup- also exactly what i expected and then a $645 "monday wedding surcharge"!!!! I'm still trying to figure out what the heck a monday wedding surcharge is! I was sooo mad! never had they mentioned a $645 monday wedding surcharge or a charge for anything remotely that amount of money! My fiance called the next day asking what in the world that charge was about and why they had never told us about it. He also asked for the deposit back. They said it was in the contract I signed ( which it was NOT) and that they would return the depost the following day. the next day i get the mail and see an envelope in there from Oasis. I assume its the check but no its a copy of the contact, mentioning no "monday wedding surcharge" but highlighting "deposit is non- refundable" What the HECK! I was so mad! Not only did they ruin my plan 31 days before the wedding but they are now trying to get into a battle about it! My fiance called again and told them to send the deposit back seeing as they violated their own contract making it void! We faxed them a copy of the contract I signed and asked them to show us the part about the Monday wedding surcharge. The following day we get a call saying that we apparently had the OLD contract and that it was on the new one,& they sent the deposit back. You would think they would just honor the one I actually signed but they arent good people like that. My question is how in the world does a company that has been under new ownership for under a year have an old and new contract, and where do they get the guts to think they can screw over a bride like that 31 days before their wedding!!!!!! I am only sharing this experience so other brides dont fall for the same trick that they tried to pull on me. They should know that the Cape is a very small place and the military community which I am apart of(Coastie Wife)is even smaller and that they will be getting no referrals or recommendations from me or any of my friends.I found a great place to do my hair, they totally came to my rescue and my hair and makeup looked great the day of my wedding!The two owners made my experience with them a nightmare and I would just recommend that any bride looking to have services there really check to make sure the contract they sign is still the current contract,but mainly i would recommend any place but there!1 star is a
