making recommendations & collaborating with us on setup and what will be the best experience for our guests. They handled so many things that I didn't expect our caterers to handle. They helped us come up with the best floorplan for tables for our space and sent us all materials to be shared with other vendors once we locked down our floorplan. They also communicated directly with our rental company and helped make sure I had the perfect tables for my vision. It made is much easier and less stressful for me, as the bride. I really cannot thank the Occassions team and Alexis enough. They were amazing from start to finish.

mall plate of everything they served and handed it directly to us to ensure that we ate on our wedding day. It was so thoughtful. They did so many other small things well, like passing out kids meals first, and making sure everyone had food quickly during our “family style” dinner so that everyone was eating at the same time. The bartenders were great, the waitstaff was lovely and they did a fantastic job making our wedding look beautiful and come together smoothly. I would recommend them to anyone! he to-go boxes they packed for the end of our night, the team was fantastic. The event looked beautiful, our taco bar was raved about for days after (especially our elote salad!) and Katie and Kristin helped us move seamlessly through our menu planning, even as our guest list grew by more than we were expecting. The options were endless and the Occasions team made everything unique and delicious! The bartenders and waitstaff they provided were amazing as well. The gentleman bartender that was making sure the bridal party always had a drink in hand was a huge hit!

who commented it was the best food they had at a wedding! Setting up a food tasting meeting with them was very easy and the tasting appt was very nice to attend. We worked with Katie Quinn who had great recommendations for the menu and helping us realize our vision. She was honest with us and gave us realistic expectations on how different foods/drinks perform at weddings. My favorite suggestions from the Occasions team were serving Lavender lemonade at the ceremony and serving steak, mashed potatoes, and spinach in a Catalina dish (unanimous favorite among my guests). They also do very lavish grazing tables (another guest favorite). On-site, the Occasions staff were extremely helpful, friendly, and got the job done splendidly. I would highly recommend them for your wedding or special event! The only small items to keep in mind when selecting Occasions is to make sure they are a pre-approved vendor at your location (they were not at our venue so we had to pay an additional fee, but they were still so worth it! I'd do it again!) and that they have a limited selection for décor so if you have a very specific décor theme, you may need to provide additional décor to them. Occasions leans more on rustic décor options. Bottom line, you will not go wrong selecting Occasions.

companies in Denver, but Occasions hit the mark. They were able to build a menu around our culinary desires that was equal parts delicious, as well as gourmet. We opted to have Occasions provide wait staff and bartending services for our wedding reception and I can safely say that all our guests were well fed and had plenty of delicious cocktails. Occasions was very up-front and honest with prices and fulfilled every one of our contract’s stipulations. Katie was a pleasure to work with and was there with us every step of the way, which was very important with all the moving parts we were juggling while planning from afar. I would recommend Occasions as a caterer to anyone wishing to impress, enjoy, and indulge at their wedding reception. Five stars!

who was great. She listened to what we envisioned, offered recommendations, and was on top of all deadlines. The catering team was fantastic and attentive to everyone. So many of our guests commented on how wonderful the food was and even went back for more! Guests raved about the flank steak, and they loved the grilled cheese and tomato soup appetizers so much. Also, the petite churros were a big hit! Their team was fantastic through the whole process and we could not be happier with our decision to book them. Thank you for making our day so wonderful!

Katie Quinn worked with them to develop a meal that covered all the bases. They were even able to provide compostable tableware for the environmentalists! Everything was perfect. The food was absolutely fabulous! The staff was amazing and were quick to solve our problem when the decorations blew off the tables before the ceremony. We could not be more pleased with the service we received from Occasions!!! Highly recommend!!

sts rave about the chili-rubbed flank steak, and the wild mushroom lasagna was a delicious and filling entree for the vegetarians in the house. Jay, the event captain, and his staff were attentive and friendly—they made sure everyone, but especially the bride and groom, had everything they needed. We really enjoyed working with them and would highly recommend.

menu change 3 weeks before the event with no problem! The dinner ran ahead of schedule, which worked out great. Lynn worked with our rentals contact to confirm that we had all necessary linens and napkins, and arranged a buffet for our vendors. And she put together a floor plan that really worked with our space. Definitely recommend working with Occasions!

The food was amazing, we still have people, now months later, that reference how great our wedding food was and how its the best they've ever had at a wedding! Couldn't recommend Occasions more!

ptional!! We had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID, like many couples, and Occasions was the only vendor we had reserved who up-charged us due to this change. We were told it was because the food prices in 2021 would be more than the prices for 2020, and they had to charge us more. They also charged us for a "COVID package" that didn't happen. They told us that there would be plexiglass and servers behind our ice cream bar, and it ended up being self-serve. We were not made aware of this until we noticed it on our wedding day. Leading up to the wedding day we were told that we were the "difficult client", we had questions about a lot of moving parts, including linen rentals, etc. and we were planning "very early". We had to follow up with Occasions numerous times, and remind them of our conversations. We were very disappointed in the lack of service leading up to the wedding day, and we would not recommend Occasions.

accessible mid-western style comfort food that all the guests can enjoy. When we went for the tasting, they absolutely nailed it. The menu they selected was not only delicious and exactly the type of food we were thinking, but it was so great that we didn't have any changes or critiques at all. We had some heavy appetizers (passed and stations), duet of proteins with tenderloin and fish and then an assortment of truffles and macarons for dessert. When it came time for the wedding day, the food was even better than during the tasting. Everyone mentioned how fantastic the food was, and we had a girl that hardly eats anything clean her plate. People were asking where they could get the truffles afterwards, and the food was one of the most talked about items of the reception. In addition to the high quality of the food itself, working with Occasions was easy. Our coordinator, Lynn, was very responsive and professional throughout the whole process. She helped coordinate with the linen rentals, and with our shrinking guest list she constantly let us make changes from going to plated meals rather than buffet and shrinking the guest list significantly. It's no wonder that most venues we looked at lists Occassions as a preferred caterer. Anyone booking them is in good hands.

and the team at Occasions were there for us every step of the way, which can not be said for some of our other originally-planned vendors. They were flexible & willing to work with us when we had to change our venue, alter our timeline, and reduce our guest count. They sent a service staff of all team leaders for our wedding reception, which made for amazing, above-and-beyond service. And the FOOD! The passed hors d'oeuvres, salads, and entree selections were all so delicious and memorable. Chef D and her team prepared us a truly excellent wedding day meal. Occasions was everything we could have asked for and more. We can't thank them enough for providing us the meal of our dreams on our special day.

sonally, I do not like salads, but I know most people do, so I sent Lynn a very specific recipe for a baked brussel sprout leaves salad which the chefs nailed! I’m so thankful I took her advice and added some passed hors d'oeuvres for all our guests last minute. I can’t say enough great things about the team at Occasions Catering! They are full of creative suggestions too if needed. The only thing I would have done differently is ordered our wedding cake from a company who specializes solely on cakes, everything else was absolutely perfect and delicious!

point of letting us know how good the food was. We had a few vegetarian guests and Occasions was able to accommodate them easily as well and they too raved about how good their meals were. The only thing I would knock them on is that they were slow in bringing out the kids meals. Most of the kids ended up eating adult plates because it took so long to get to them. All in all it was a very good experience with Occasions and I would highly recommend them.

Victoria organized our tasting and talked us through the process, explained the food and answered all of our questions. Becky was our day of coordinator and made sure every specialty meal, highchair and other requests got to the right spot. She even had the left overs boxed up for us to take home. The Occasions team was very responsive, organized and great to work with, plus the food they served was AMAZING!

When we brought these issues to their attention afterwards, we received a litany of excuses and they blamed everyone from the event captain to the coordinator and other vendors. Despite the rave reviews we got for the food, I cannot recommend this company to other brides.

They had a lot of options for us to choose from, from food to decor, and so we were able to perfectly match the food to our wedding venue and vision. During the event they were punctual and professional. I also appreciated the sustainable efforts the company makes, from minimizing food waste to donating any extra meals. The cost of the package was perfect, and the quality we received was well above other caterers I was considering.

They also provided desserts for our wedding- unfortunately we didn't get to eat any because our guests at them all! Additionally, their service was incredible. Everything ran like a well oiled machine the day of, and I am so thankful it did!

very. The food and service on our wedding day wound up exceeding our expectations. Becky was stuck on I-70 behind mudslides and was unable to attend the wedding (leave it to Colorado). Andrew took lead of the evening and did a fantastic job! He was incredibly attentive and checked in personally with my husband and I several times. The food was delicious and we received so many compliments from our guests! We have no regrets in our choice and would absolutely recommend them.

Due to us being from out of town, she allowed our whole family to taste and allowed my husband and I to do a second tasting to ensure we were happy with our wedding menu selections. They are the perfect vendor for any theme, and they knocked our theme, Colorado Elegant out of the park. Make sure to get the elk sausage carving station and bacon wrapped dates for your cocktail hour, they were the biggest hits! Also, our guests and us could not have been any more impressed with their staff and operations. Everything was served on time and with the utmost professional manner. If you want a caterer who delivers, Occasions is that vendor for you!

composed of Italian cuisine. I wanted it to feel fresh and filling and leave no on complaining about the fact that there was no meat. In addition, I wanted it to be somewhat accessible to vegan and gluten-free guests. Every other caterer we tasted with produced a boring and predictable combination of carbs and grease and cheese, and it all felt heavy but not satisfying. Occasions BLEW US AWAY. Our menu was everything I wanted and more, and we got so, so, so many compliments on the food on the day of! It was original, fresh, healthy, tasty, hearty… everything. Over 20 people told me how delicious it was and not a single one complained about the lack of meat. My hubby and I ate leftovers throughout the entire next day because we couldn’t get enough. If you are looking for a Denver caterer for your big event, I highly recommend talking to Occasions—you won’t regret it!
