ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We walked in knowing we wanted an invitation but not sure what beyond that, they were so patient and thoughtful by taking time to get to know the theme, venue, and overall experience we wanted to portray with our wedding to recommend invitations appropriately. They had so many selections and had our perfect invite at the right price too! Recommend to anyone needing any invite for an event!!

Very overpriced and old-fashioned. The employee basically told me I couldn't get what I wanted for my budget. Which was a very generous budget. They told me it would be impossible for my invitations to match the program. Which was really weird, because I've seen it done in at least 10 weddings I've been to. They tried to pressure me to put money down the day I went in there. I walked out of there more frustrated and confused than I've been about anything in regards to planning my wedding. I ended up finding something WAY cuter on an online store for a FRACTION of the cost. If you want to spend over a grand on JUST invitations alone, go here. If not, I recommend elsewhere.

When I first visited Occassions it was great. The girl who helped me took her time going over options and pricing with me until I finally chose the one. I paid a deposit (50% plus tax) and received a discount for buying my dress local. However, a few days later I got a call informing me of additional charges that would be added to my total because of things I wasn't told about such as using two font colors and having the directions printed on the directions cards I purchased. This added over $100 to my total. My invites came in after 5 weeks as they told me they would. When we picked them up my mom went ahead and ordered my bridal shower invitations and this is when the service started getting even worse. They said it would be a few days before they were finished–which was fine. However, I never got a call saying they were ready after well over a few days I called asking about my order and was told they messed up on some invitations when printing and that they had to order more invites to print on because they didn't have enough. This would have been fine, but I was irritated that they didn't call to inform me when it happened! After a week I called again and was told the invites still hadn't arrived. When I asked to just choose a new invite to finish out the rest the lady was very rude to me saying they didn't have to be out until 1 or maybe 2 weeks before the event, but I wanted to give my guests more time than that to plan and order online if they wished to do so. My wedding and shower invites were both gorgeous, but there was a lot of headache involved during the process. Maybe the incident was a one time deal, but with me traveling over an hour just to use their services it was very irritating!

I first looked here then I must have ordered 30+ samples from websites such as Minted, David's Bridal, and Wedding Paper Divas... I ended up back at Occasions because those sites just didn't have the paper, design, or font options I wanted. If you're looking for a wedding invite style that is classic, high quality, and traditional then just go here. You're not saving any money trying to buy from those websites, anyway. The ladies at Occasions were very knowledgable about how the invites should be worded and made good suggestions. My fiancé and I have crazy busy schedules - we went on a week day and got there as fast as we could after work about 5:30. The store closes at 6 but they stayed working with us until 6:30. I really appreciate them helping us get this done!
