Ocean Pointe Suites

WARNING: I just had my wedding at Ocean Pointe Suites on 6/24/2016. I had lots of family coming in from out of state. Some families stayed over a week at the resort. Total we had over 30 rooms booked. Adrian promised me the world and failed to deliver on that promise. Adrian showed a 5 star room when I was there last year. We took pictures and we so impressed, then 3 weeks before my wedding told me that not all the rooms were 5 star like the one that was showed to us. #2 Adrian stated that all guests would be in the same building, the one closest to the check in area, lets just say not even my mother was in the same building as me and we were spread out across the entire resort. #3 We contracted for an open bar at the wedding and the cost was aprox $5,000.00 I specifically contracted for Jack Daniels and Captain Morgan, when I got to my cocktail hour 40 minutes after it started the bartender told my new HUSBAND (the GROOM) “sorry your guests drink a lot and we ran out of Jack Daniels”. We paid for a 4 hour open bar, how do you run out in 40 minutes? This is unacceptable. My wedding planner along with my caterer stated that this wasn’t the best venue and that they couldn’t believe the individual issues that they also had. The front gate wanted my wedding planner to call me at 7:45am and wake me up on my wedding day because they didn’t want to let her crew in to start setting up, even though I provided them with a list of vendors 2 weeks prior to my event. We had multiple issues with the suites themselves also. List: 1- no towels, said the truck didn’t come in, no lock on sliding door with small children in room(maintenance said that the install was rushed), closet door fell of hinges onto my nephew (never fixed it), Broken washer, dirty floors (tried to tell me that they just looked dirty) late check ins for wedding guests (so some only had an hour before my wedding to get showered and ready). We love the keys and my other 7 vendors were absolutely amazing!!! The only one that didn’t rise to the occasion was Ocean Pointe. I would NOT NOT NOT recommend having your wedding here if you want to be able to enjoy it.

We were married in October at Ocean Pointe Suites, in a beautiful sunset Indian Ceremony. Ocean Pointe is the perfect venue for a secluded, romantic wedding. Adrian and his team are fabulous: friendly, responsive, and willing to accommodate almost any request. Our guests stayed at Ocean Pointe, the majority in Deluxe Suites, which worked out perfectly! Thank you Adrian and team for some fabulous memories!

I recently got married at Ocean Pointe Suites in Key Largo in October of 2015. It was an excellent venue, with excellent service. Adrian the wedding coordinator at this venue did a fantastic job. He was very attentive and detail oriented. He was able to help us with referrals of different vendors, and also coordinate with these vendors before and during the wedding. The venue is beautiful, with a private beach and terrace for a small/ medium sized wedding. I highly recommend this venue for any brides dream beach destination wedding!
