Planning everything we worked with Alison who answered probably about 100 of my scattered questions throughout the process. She was super flexible with us doing the final meeting the day before the wedding. The day of, we worked with Taylor. She was very efficient. We even misplaced some cards we had our guests fill out and she told us exactly where they put them the night of the wedding, days later. If I could go back and do it all again after experiencing it, I would 1000% book here again. Brides, call Galen and book with her. She was phenomenal.

appointing, and what happened afterward was far worse. Planning process: Our coordinator was repeatedly rude and condescending toward my mother throughout the planning process. She was also disorganized — it took multiple rounds of corrections before she had our event details right. She also gave us incorrect measurements for pipe and drape, resulting in a $2,000 charge for a setup that couldn't be used as intended. Credit card fraud: About two months after our wedding, we noticed a fraudulent charge on the credit card we'd given the venue for our event. After investigating with our credit card company, we traced it to an email linked to this same coordinator's name, with an IP address in Newport, RI. We reported this to OceanCliff immediately. At first, they seemed genuinely engaged in getting to the bottom of it and asked us to file a police report, which we did. The Newport Police investigation confirmed the employee had stolen our credit card information and used it for personal purchases. Once the investigation concluded, OceanCliff went silent. Despite repeated requests, they never told us how our information was compromised, what changes they've made to prevent it from happening to other couples, or offered any acknowledgment of the time, stress, and violation of trust this caused during what should have been one of the happiest periods of our lives. We trusted this venue with our wedding and our financial information, and that trust was badly broken — first by an employee, and then by a venue that stopped engaging once the legal matter was resolved. I can't in good conscience recommend OceanCliff to other couples.

We had a few hiccups / mixups (not the OC team's fault) that she made sure our guests never even knew about - for example, bringing out & setting up an extra table when we brought the wrong seating chart, and making sure we waited until the last possible moment before making the call to have the ceremony inside due to the weather. Overall, I would absolutely recommend OceanCliff!

She endured our many questions and ensured our special day went accordingly. Our parents and wedding party stayed at OC for our wedding weekend and we felt right at home. Stephen, who leads the front desk, is extremely kind, funny, and supportive. He ensured we had everything we needed to make for a smooth wedding day and weekend. Rei was our day of coordinator and rocked it. She is knowledgeable, understanding, supportive, and truly will do whatever it takes to ensure your big day is the way you planned it to be and dreamed it to be. She is very detail oriented and brought our vision to life. OC will always hold a special place in our hearts. Our family and friends too. At OC, they are family. The food was delicious and the beverages were excellent. We had a cold November day and you wouldn’t have known when you stepped inside. The fireplaces made it so cozy. We had our ceremony at a church and then returned to OC for pictures. We were able to have our dog there for our pictures. They all love dogs at OC. They are so inviting and welcoming of them. Ours truly felt like their family. We even brought our dog on site weeks before the wedding and they let us have a picnic on the lawn with him. We will never forget these cherished memories. And we never want to! We are sad the day is over, but we are so happy to look back on our wedding day and pictures and know we had our dream wedding at the most magical venue. Dreams do come true! o organized my husband and I did not have to worry about one thing. The Oceancliff views are so picturesque and so romantic. It was so easy to work with the staff. We would like to recognize Galen, Taylor, Kasey, and our captain for the night James. All were so very helpful this making this process enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious. Taylor, Galen, and James even made sure we had a plate full of our appetizers from happy hour right before our entrances, so we actually got to try all of the different appetizers, (which I hear normally people don’t eat at their own weddings). Also would highly recommend a Sunday evening wedding as we had the whole weekend before for festivities and celebrations with family and friends. Without a doubt, Oceancliff is easily the greatest venue with romantic, elegant, fun, luxury vibes.

Brianna was our day-of wedding coordinator and she was absolutely wonderful! Karl and Dan were our bartenders for the evening and there was not a drink mentioned that they could not create. Michael was our Night Auditor who quickly became our late-night guardian angel by providing and assisting our messy but well intentioned group with anything we needed. He was a fabulously knowledgeable individual that we were thrilled to have spent the late nights with. This beautiful facility and their unerring staff have made every single guest feel like they belong at every turn. My wife and I were truly blessed to spend a weekend here among so many people that made us feel so special and cared for during our short stay. I cannot recommend this location enough for weddings, celebrations or other events moving forward.
