ow... the scenery is the only good thing about this venue. I went through 9 agonizing months of pure hell with this place. There was SO much turnover on staff that every time I felt like we finally got 3 steps forward, we would go 10 steps back. It took weeks to get replies via email (most of the time I would have to send multiple emails to get a response) and for about 7 months I literally did not get to speak to a live person on the phone despite asking many times to set up a phone appointment (I live out of town). When I was finally able to plan an in person tour of the venue, I was told to do a "self-guided tour" as the staff wouldn't be available on the weekend. Being from out of town this was extremely disappointing as weekends are what were available for me to travel. Highly unprofessional in my opinion. It took MONTHS to get a contract from them to lock in my date. Which is not ideal when all other vendors revolve around the venue and the date that can be agreed upon. Room blocks were a complete disaster. It took about 3-4 months to get a room block before guests could start booking. I was promised one night stays for guests, then when guests tried to book one night rooms, they were denied (2 months out from the wedding). The rooms were not at all impressive for what they cost. When I FINALLY got to meet real live people, we were approx 2 months out. I voiced how upset and disgusted I was with the professionalism (or lack thereof), false promises, and all-around chaos I had endured trying to plan a wedding with them for the past several months. General managers of course did damage control, and promised to help with "X,Y, and Z". I felt better going forward only to show up day of and have the same people be very rude to me and my guests who were staying there. You wouldn't have guessed they were hosting a wedding; they were completely unbothered and not willing to help in anyway. They didn't lift a single finger helping prepare the site (after saying they would). Honestly I could go on and on with all the details of how this place fell short, but I think anyone reading this gets the picture. If all you care about is the scenery, go for it, but be prepared to age yourself 5 years trying to plan a wedding here. Do yourself a favor and KEEP LOOKING.

helpful and flexible throughout the whole process. They also did the catering, which was not only convenient but also delicious. We did the chili bar and got so many comments on how good the food was. The chef was really outstanding, and they even accommodated a kids buffet which was such a hit with all our little friends. From start to finish, they really went above and beyond and everything exceeded our expectations. We had a bunch of our guests staying on site which made for such a special extended weekend running into everyone around the property. We also did an informal rehearsal gathering in the Moonstone Corral area with tacos, sliders, a bar and s’mores. Everyone had so much fun playing lawn games and roasting marshmallows around the firepits. Overall, I just can’t say enough about what an amazing venue this was. Highly recommend!
