Married Dec 2024 in San Francisco – When everyone walks up to you after the wedding and says “where did you find your officiant? He was amazing!” or “Was your officiant a family f...
riend?” you just know you had the right officiant. To answer the question – was he a family friend – no he was not. He was contracted as part of our venue package (but he owns his own business). When he first set up a 90-minute call with me and my now-husband, we both thought that was kinda crazy. My first thought was “what could we possibly talk about for an hour and a half”. But OMG, we were never so wrong. He has a whole prep process that he walks couples through where he asks questions like how religious do you want the ceremony to be on a scale from 1-10 and it just goes on from there. It’s like each answer to a question directed him to his next question and when we’re done, he has our entire ceremony “mapped out”. I also called him back privately (after our initial call) to add a surprise for my husband into our ceremony. My now-hubby had lost his best friend two years before we were married. Had he still be alive, he’d have been in our wedding party. He was like a brother to me and my husband. Not having him there was really hard and so I asked his daughter to represent her father with a reading during the ceremony but wanted it to be a surprise. Steve was great at helping me keep it secret and weaving it into the ceremony seamlessly. There was not a dry eye in the house when she read her poem that she read to both of us. With that said, Steve’s entire process is how he truly gets to know us so that when we are “literally” standing at the altar, he comes across as our family-friend who is officiating our wedding and not a hired vendor who barely knows us. He’s also very comfortable and personable in front of all the guests and knows when to tell everyone to stand or sit, when to step aside for the kiss, when to cue the bride and groom and our wedding party – he even knows how much humor to use in the ceremony. It’s just ridiculously easy to work with Steve and we really appreciated him.
We worked with Steve Siglin from Officially Yours via Wedgewood Weddings. Steve was helpful from the moment we connected via the initial Zoom meeting, walking us through the whole ...
process, and making sure we pick and choose elements in his and our speeches that suit us the most. On the day of, Steve was punctual and he worked very well along with the other vendors at the wedding (photographers, DJ, wedding coordinators). He helped calm our nerves on our big day, and delivered a witty, warm, heartfelt, elegant and moving speech for our ceremony. We felt very fortunate to have Steve as our officiant which helped made our wedding day pleasant and unforgettable.
Fairview Crystal Springs had this vendor inclusive to officiate weddings at their venue. Thank God they were available on the day of our wedding. We met with Steve Siglin thru zoom...
and he made a really great ceremony for us. He wasn't able to officiate but the representative was awesome, although I forgot his name or do not know how to spell it (I'm so sorry) He was awesome!!! Thanks again!!!
Officially yours was easy to work with and great with presenting us choices (especially since we had no idea what a ceremony usually looks like in the details). Steve was great abo...
ut our decisions and giving us recommendations. He also showed up the day of to check in on us. Shelley talked with us the day of and was great with the crowd. I got worried about our marriage license being turned in and sent an email to Steve. Instead did emailing back he actually called me to check personally. Thanks for helping to make our day so great!
We are so happy we went with Steve and the team at Officially Yours for our wedding officiant! We wanted a classic and traditional ceremony, incorporating some religious elements, ...
and Steve walked us through all of our possible options for ceremony language to create our perfect script. While we did not end up having any readers or special segments (for example, a unity candle), Steve is clearly an expert and knows how to incorporate those elements.
jKonrad officiated on the day of, and we had a quick call with him a week in advance of the ceremony. Even though we never met him in person until the day of, he was incredibly reassuring over the phone that he would be very good at his job, and he truly was. jKonrad was excellent at striking a balance between sweet moments and humor, reading the room for exactly what was needed. He was great at respecting the specific language we wanted (for example, we did not want me to be “given away” but “presented”), and he set up our first kiss perfectly, announcing he would step out of the way so we could get a picture with just the two of us. We had so many guests compliment the ceremony after, and we would absolutely recommend Steve and jKonrad and the team.
If I could give them a 6/5, I would! I was so so so impressed by Steve and our wedding ceremony. Throughout the entire process Steve was readily available to answer questions, and ...
the ceremony booklet was very helpful. Our ceremony was so beautiful, and I was so impressed with how Steve performed the ceremony. He truly has a gift of sharing love stories and the ceremony exceeded my expectations in every way possible. All of our guests were convinced that Steve must have been my uncle because of how eloquently he spoke about us, and yet we had only met him in person for the first time that day! Thank you so much Steve, you truly made our day very special.
We reached out to Officially Yours!! for officiant services and we worked with Steve. Steve was great to work with. He provides a ceremony workbook, and we discussed what we wanted...
our ceremony to be. He was calm, collected, organized and delivered a wonderful officiant service. He cracked some jokes to lighten the mood put also was serious and delivered a beautiful ceremony. The guests at the wedding raved about him all night, asking where we found the officiant. We are so glad we chose this vendor to be our officiant!
After meeting with Steve we knew instantly not only did we want to hire Officially Yours as our officiant, but we wanted to pay the extra $100 to have Steve himself marry us. He wa...
s extremely personable and organized. We got a giant wedding booklet to go through that I kind of thought of us a "choose your own adventure" type approach that worked really well. They had the entire ceremony broken down into segments, and each segment had a huge list of wording options to choose from, which was really helpful. The ceremony itself went amazingly, you can tell Steve has done hundreds and hundreds of ceremonies because he was able to officiate very naturally, with very little looking at his notes, and he also whispered tiny cues to us such as "grab your bouquet back from the maid of honor" and such things that I would never have remembered to do independently. He was so natural and was such a good fit for us personality wise, that several guests assumed he was someone we knew previously. He also made sure the marriage license got signed by our witnesses and turned the license in to the county for us, which was extremely helpful. I did not want to have to keep track of the license after our ceremony or find the time to turn it in on our own when we were leaving for our honeymoon two days after our wedding. We wholeheartedly recommend Steve and Officially Yours! We couldn't have been more happy with out the ceremony went.
We hired Officially Yours back in 2019 for our 2020 wedding. We were happy and validated in our decision the moment COVID hit and Steve and his team were understanding and seamless...
ly moved our contract over to our new wedding date in 2021. Steve was very responsive over telephone and reassured us we were all set to go several weeks before the wedding.
Steve officiated our wedding and he is truly great at what he does. We got married outdoors during a storm and he was able to seamless transition the ceremony inside. Not only that, but we later found out that he was the reason all our guests were able to find their seats inside so quickly as he spent some time with them while my husband and I were staged in another area. Needless to say, the ceremony was wonderful and Steve did a great job making it feel personal, even with the limited conversations we had. Many of our guests later approached us and wanted to compliment Steve and the way he officiated our ceremony - it was personal, engaging, and struck the right balance between being sentimental and having some light humor.
Would definitely recommend
We got married back in October at Garre in Livermore. Steve was absolutely amazing to work with, through signing the contract to the day of our wedding.
He was very responsive and ...
payed close attention to detail when it came to planning what we wanted covered in our ceremony, ring exchanges, vows, etc.
We are still getting compliments from family and friends on how great Steve was at our wedding.
Thank you Steve!!!!

im and our brief meeting prior to our procession down the aisle, Steve did a wonderful job. He was funny, and kept our guest engaged. We especially liked the part where he had us closed our eyes and take in the scenery of our wedding. During all the hustle and bustle, we barely had time for it, so we though it was a very nice touch. He was very professional and made the entire process very easy and smooth.
Steve recently officiated our October 15th wedding and he was absolutely amazing! From the very first meeting with him we felt so at ease and it was very clear that he knew what he...
was doing. The ceremony workbook makes it very easy to plan a personal ceremony that does not feel like a script, and Steve is extremely responsive via email and phone with any questions we had. He also offers premarital coaching, which we completed with him and I would highly recommend it not only because it helped my husband and I talk through different issues we may not have considered before, but it gave us a chance to help Steve get to know us better before our wedding! Our ceremony was absolutely gorgeous, and Steve put in just the right amount of levity to make our guests feel like they were part of something truly special, and not just a serious and stiff ceremony. I got more compliments on my “amazing officiant” than almost anything else at my wedding! I would highly recommend both Steve and his company “officially yours!”.
Steve officiated our wedding back in October and we received so many compliments! All of our guests said how personal and loving the ceremony was with just the right amount of lev...
ity. Working with Steve was extremely easy. He had a workbook that allowed us to customize our ceremony as much or as little as we wanted. We had so many decisions to make leading up to our big day that having something to help guide us through the process of making a personalized ceremony took a big load off our shoulders. Steve really brought his personality to his officiating while also making the ceremony feel like ours. I would not hesitate to use him again in the future (although hopefully I won’t have to)!
We chose Steve to be our wedding officiant, and saying we were incredibly please is a vast understatement. From our first e-mail communications, thru the initial meeting, the cerem...
ony, and post-wedding, Steve was not just an incredibly officiant, but a great person. He genuinely understands the importance of a ceremony, and that it not be a cookie-cutter, one size fits all deal for all wedding couples. We told Steve our expectations, and he easily tuned right in to exactly what we wanted. His workbook was very helpful in shaping our ceremony, which we wanted to be short, inclusive to all our guests, and entertaining. My husband and I love humor, and Steve effortlessly found the right funny things to say at the right time. It was great hearing our guests laugh, and even hear ourselves laugh--it kept our nerves calm! I have an affinity for pirate culture, and Steve asked if he could insert some passages in 'pirate talk.' We said yes, and the results were awesome! So, in short, Steve made our ceremony fun, personal, and memorable. We received so many compliments from guests regarding our ceremony and Steve's delivery. We couldn't have imagined a better man to unite us as man and wife--Thank you, Steve! (Or should I say "Aye!")
The ability to completely customize our ceremony and write our own vows really made the ceremony about who we were as individuals and a couple. I was very impressed with Daniel. ...
He was professional but personable too - adding just a touch of humor at the right time to help with our nerves.
We were referred to Steve by Wedgewood San Ramon.

el very comfortable and didn't think it was weird that we didn't want to do vows and that we just wanted something simple and short
We ended up getting Daniel for our officiant on the wedding day and he was great. Our ceremony ended up being the shortest ceremony of all time probably, but that's exactly what we wanted and we were extremely happy with all of it.
I had a very specific requirement for my officiant, they needed to be willing to create a very secular ceremony while still making it personal, but not too short. Steve was recomm...
ended by our venue and we met him with only weeks to go. We LOVED him right away and especially liked his method for creating a ceremony. He has a workbook that allows you to create it yourself using samples with plenty of room for customization. We were able to choose the wording, tweak it for our needs and have no surprises at the altar. Steve was dressed nicely, had a clear and delightful voice and just the right amount of humor. I urge anyone looking for an officiant to meet him and see what he has to offer.
You won't find a better officiant. Steve is the best! I didn't have an officiant and was in a panic. So I contacted our wedding venue and they use him all the time. He called us an...
d made an appointment within two weeks of our marriage. We received so many wonderful compliments from our families and guests after the ceremony. You won't be dissapointed.
