Janet was amazing on my wedding day! She provided food, bartending, linens, and decor! I could not recommend her enough for any bride getting married! She is also a wonderful person and so kind!! Additionally, she has also done multiple weddings I have attended and they have all been fabulous!

We had such a great experience with Janet for our daughters reception. She was extremely helpful and made the day run very smoothly. The cake was beautiful and the Italian themed dinner was WONDERFUL! I highly recommend Okie Cookies Catering!

Oh my, where to start!!! Janet is AMAZING!! I loved working with her and would highly recommend her to anyone! She was very attentive, caring and an all around a ball of happiness. I have not only had the best night of my life with my wedding, but also gained a new friend in the process!! You will not be disappointed choosing Okie Cookie!!

We booked with Janet before reading reviews because she was a preferred vendor for our venue. I curiously read reviews after paying the deposit just because and was shocked to see negative ones as so far, I had a great experience with Janet. I asked the opinion of my venue and even expressed some concerns to Janet and was assured that everything will be up to par - and boy was it! Janet was not only a great vendor but a friend during this crazy planning process. She always spoke to me as an equal and didn't mind explaining things to me. It was always like talking a friend rather than a vendor! She responded to emails quickly, and always helped in anyway she could. I am so glad we went with Janet and would do it a hundred times over. She did a desert bar, pasta bar, cake, and bar for us. Everything was delicious and all guests were happy. I would confidently recommended her to anyone.

I can’t say enough good things about Janet. From the moment we first met her she made us feel at ease about the stresses of planning a wedding. She can do anything from food, to flowers, linens, place settings, bartending, you name it she can do it. She truly cares about her customers. We even had her caterer the wedding shower. She made our cake for the wedding and the shower, both cakes were delicious as well as the food for the shower. She also picked up, delivered and set up the flowers at the wedding. We had a small wedding but if it had been huge she would have done everything for us. I’d say she’s and all-inclusive wedding planner/caterer because she can do it all. She also has great suggestions for anything else you may need such as a DJ etc. I highly recommend her if you want to have a fabulous wedding without stressing out about everything. I was recommended this vendor by our venue. I reached out to the owner and at first got quick responses but once we booked her, the responses were slower (like 7-14 day wait), I was nervous but thought that since they were a preferred vendor there would be no problem. A couple months before my wedding I was to have a meeting with them to finalize food and flowers. When I showed up to the meeting they were not there and I was told they had accidently told me the wrong date. I continued on with them because it was too late. A few days later we had a zoom meeting and went over the final details and I thought everything was fine. It was not until the day of my wedding that things were indeed not fine. My flowers were wrong, I noticed the night before and had my coordinator check with Okie Cookies to see why and she had no reason just that she would get them when hobby lobby opened up. That morning as I'm getting ready I see that my flowers still are not fixed, my coordinator had to go get the correct flowers. I was supposed to have a queso fountain but did not have one, I was never told there wouldn't be one. I'd also note that a month before my weeding I was told that they never received my deposit. Janet never showed up to the wedding nor reach out to me about the mistakes. Her "crew" was about 6 (underage looking) people and 1 older woman; I had to ask

This company will lie and rip you off. Food is awful and cold, not even up to code. The owner lies about everything. Think twice before hiring.

There catering was TRASH . The food was cold as hell and tasted and looked store bought. My family spent way too much money for her services and they were awful !!! My sister in law requested numerous things that Janet promised to have and did not come through with them . Her “crew” and her were dressed soooooo unprofessional and on top of that she was rude . My boyfriend threw up after eating the cake they had provided and had smog here pains that whole night following into the next day . A lot of our family and friends told us how disgusting the cake and food was. DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!

Please think twice before hiring this vendor. Janet and her crew of about 3 people did an awful job. We did not receive everything we paid for hot cocoa, Smores station , flowers on a memorial chair and multiple corsages and boutonnieres. She was very disorganized. She was making bouquets for the bridesmaids and bride 30 minutes before the wedding with rose stems all over the front entry. The food was cold and seemed like it was heated in a microwave. She tried to argue with every detail my daughter wanted at the reception and she started tearing things down at 9 p.m. when we had the venue till midnight making the guests feel like they had to leave because she didn't want to pay her staff anymore. It was a disaster and I would not recommend her to anyone. Hopefully I get my money back for the items I did not receive.

WOW!! Janet and her team are absolutely amazing!! Not enough words for how well my wife and I were taken care of during our wedding planning process/on our wedding day! I HIGHLY recommend Okie Cookies... we personally used them for decor, florals, and all catering (including wedding cake and grooms cookie bar) they hit it out of the park on every aspect and we could not have been happier with our decision to partner with this incredible vendor!!!

Janet is the sweetest person! Our guests raved about how wonderful the food was. The taco bar was a huge hit! She accommodated a peanut and gluten allergy, she even accommodated my last minute changes like adding a cake and changing my bar list. And her prices were VERY reasonable! The table setting were gorgeous and her staff was very respectful and efficient before, during, and after the wedding. I 100% recommend using Okie Cookie Catering. The meal we had planned for a year took my wedding day to the next level. It was beautiful and delicious!

Janet was SO sweet and SO reasonably priced. My parents actually paid more for my sister's cake 10 years ago!!! She was patient with my indecisiveness and sent me many ideas on what to do. She even made each tier a different flavor with no additional cost! It was seriously the best wedding cake I have ever had and many of my guests said the same thing! It was soft and moist with an excellent frosting on top! She was amazing to work with and I highly recommend her!

Please research thoroughly before using this vendor. My wedding day went eerily similar to other one star reviews on this thread, so I will save the details. In summary, she did/provided very little of what was agreed upon and nearly ruined my wedding day. She was very dishonest, and remains so to this day. She agreed both verbally and in writing to refund me fully, but I have yet to see a dime 8 months later. You can easily find records of multiple legal cases against her with a quick online search, which I obviously wish I would have thought to do before hiring her for such an important day. This has been a nightmare for our family, and I hope this saves other families stress and disappointment.

Unfortunately, I have to make an edit to my initial review. I just had the chance to talk to my matron of honor about how the day when logistically. It seemed that Janet over promised and under delivered. At our initial consultation she said she would have someone who could run the playlist. when the day came, she told my sister that the girl who was supposed to do it could not make it and Janet did not make an alternate arrangements. Janet also did not do much in the way of coordination even though she said she would take on that role. My sister had to step in and do the majority of the coordinating. I think it would be best in Janet only did the catering which from my perspective was good, however I came to find out that a few of my guests received under cooked pork loin. Overall, I was very disappointed to hear all of this.

Janet & her crew are fantastic. The food was delicious & she works with you to get what you want at a very good price. She also took care of our cake, florals, and linens. I will definitely use this company for future events!

Janet was great! She did everything she could to make our wedding awesome and affordable. She truly loves what she does and it shows. She even lent us decorations for free. I didn’t get any of the cake, but I heard that it and the food was amazing!

Janet is absolutely the best! We ordered our cake and cupcakes through her company as well as bartending and linens. If only I could say that’s all she did! Our cake/cupcakes were beyond delicious and exactly like the pictures I sent her. I was able to call her the week of my wedding with a couple of things I forgot just to ask if she knew where I could get them and instead of her steering me away, she simply said I will pick them up on the way!! She was a true lifesaver in several instances as I planned my entire wedding out of state! Thank you Janet!!

Janet is the best! She is the sweetest person. The food was amazing, the cake was amazing, the donuts were amazing. She has everything to set the tables from linens, to glassware, and decorations. She has it all and lets you use it all. Janet's staff were very professional and worked hard to make sure our day went smoothly. I would highly recommend her.

Fantastic service! Beyond helpful during the planning process! Working with Janet felt like so much more than working with s caterer; it felt like working with a friend who was willing to go above and beyond to make my day perfect! Everything was included in the very reasonable price including some decorations! I would highly recommend!

We booked Okie Cookie in October for a March wedding. We were able to taste her food, cake, cookies, and brownies. She provided Food, Flowers, Linens, Decorations, Table Settings. She and her crew were there at 9am and started getting everything set up. They left and said they would return about 2 to start setting up the buffet and cake table. They provided everything we had discussed and contracted for. The food was delicious, the cake was beautiful and snacks yummy, the flowers were also beautiful and all accounted for. Her crew was there to set up, serve, and break down. Our experience with Okie Cookie was wonderful.

Unfortunately I cannot recommend that anyone use Janet's services. I booked her to cater my wedding on August 18, 2017 and she delivered almost nothing that was promised to me. Initially I was very impressed by Janet's prices and everything she included (linens, staff, cake etc.). We tasted her homemade food and its was excellent. As it got closer to our wedding day I had a very difficult time getting a hold of Janet and she seemed to be very unorganized. I had to remind her several times of the details of our day (time of day, that our reception was at a different location than the ceremony, the number of guests attending etc.). But a couple of days before it seemed that we had everything straightened out. On the day of our wedding, Janet was supposed to arrive at our reception venue in the morning to set up. She did not arrive until 12:30pm after our reception had already started. That morning only two of her staff (she promised me about 10 staff..only 4 came and one was a minor) set up some of the tables with the help of the staff at the venue. The bar was not open and the cocktail hour foods were not out until after the entire wedding party arrived at the reception. My cake wasn't on the table till around 2pm, half way through the reception. Janet claimed she had a fire in her kitchen that morning and so she wasn't able to prepare the food homemade. She went to sams and bought food that she microwaved at the venue. She was incredibly unorganized and disoriented. My bridesmaids and my mom were in the kitchen helping her get the food out to the buffet (an hour late). The microwaved food was obviously horrible and not what we paid for. Additionally, Janet was supposed to provide my flowers for the tables. Not a single flower was on the tables for our reception. She also provided only 5 bridesmaids bouquets when I had 6 bridesmaids. A family friend had to go to trader joes at the last minute to get a makeshift bouquet for my maid of honor. Janet said she would have an emcee/dj who would provide introductions, flow of the reception, cue the music etc. No one showed up to do that. Janet introduced the wedding party but she didn't have the names of my party and we had to tell her who we were as we entered the reception. My dear friend basically took over as coordinator and worked with the ladies at our venue to cue the music. Janet had told me that her staff provided set up and tear down but I learned after my honeymoon that all of our family and friends helped tear down the chairs and tables while Janet just roamed around aimlessly. Needless to say, Janet completely ruined our reception. I learned later from a friend in the wedding industry that Janet has used the excuse of a "fire in her kitchen" before. We called the arcadia and Edmond fire depts and they had no report of a fire that morning. And even if she did have a fire, there was no excuse for my cake being late, the lack of staff, no dj, no flowers, etc. I was shocked that this happened after reading all the reviews about Janet and seeing how satisfied people had been with her services. About a month after our wedding, my husband and I wrote her an email detailing all of the things that went wrong/were missing from our wedding reception. We requested a partial refund for the food, flowers etc. She responded and said she would pay us but we haven't seen a dime and haven't heard back from her. Please think twice about using Okie Cookies Catering.

Janet is amazing! The food was absolutely amazing, everyone loved it and had so much to say about it! She also brought all the linens, dishes, and did the cake as well. She also stayed with me and my dad before I walked and made sure I was calm and everything was okay. I highly recommend her!

She was so kind and generous. She included with the food, the cake, linens, and some décor. She has a friend that does florals that she coordinates as well. The only downfall is I believes she overbooks herself and can be hard to get a hold of. She is just a bit unorganized and I had to correct a few things a couple times to make sure they were right, but for her price it was worth it in my opinion. If you are willing to pay a pretty penny, and get a more organized caterer you might do that but for all the broke brides like I was she was the CHEAPEST by far and on the day of everything came together!

Janet was such a blessing through the wedding planning process and on the day as well! Her food was just excellent and her help with the little touches was amazing! She set a beautiful table, was there to give us tips on how to do the cake cutting and made sure we had plates of food as well as some to take with us on the honeymoon! She was wonderful to work with and she definitely took the stress level down a few notches.

Janet, owner of Okie Cookies Catering, was our greatest blessing during our wedding planning process and for our special day. Janet coordinated our wedding day, worked seamlessly with our vendors, and was a firm and helpful voice when I needed help with other vendors. She catered our nearly 500 guests wedding with the highest quality and most delicious food at the most reasonable price. Words cannot express how delicious her food is and I cannot remember how many guests commented on how great the food was. She has beautiful table linens, chargers, cake platters, serving ware, and more for brides to rent. She has wonderful servers who provide excellent service at the wedding and provide a quick set up and tear down. While Janet does not financially need to have a wedding catering service, she does it because she truly enjoys catering for weddings and providing wedding planning services for couples. Our wedding wouldn't have been the perfect day like it was without her planning skills, help, and services. Janet is genuinely one of the kindest people I have ever met. My family and I will definitely be using her for our future events!

Okie Cookies is amazing. I went there on a referral from another bride who had used Okie Cookies for catering and said she wished she had used them for everything. Janet walked me through my entire process, very flexible and was honest about my ideas offering suggestions but not being pushy at all. She was not concerned that a couple of family member had made decor for us to use. Which I thought was great, some of the other stylist I spoke to wouldn't let anyone interfere with their style. The food was absolutely amazing, her staff was very professional and they went above and beyond to make my day special. We booked our rehearsal dinner with her, guacamole is to die for! The vendors she sent us to were just like her very caring, wanting us to have exactly the flowers, music, etc.. we wanted. The day of the wedding she brought little croissant sandwiches for the wedding party while we were getting ready, had drinks available, and handled all the venue set up linens, vendor times with with ease. Everything was done and she was ready for anything an hour before guest arrived. One of the bridesmaids ripped a seam in her dress and Janet and Tori repaired it. She even had needle and thread to match. Her response was I'm prepared for anything, even have duct tape. Wedding reception was amazing, everyone was talking about how great the food was, the bartenders were professional and the staff seemed to work very well together and our guest kept saying how nice everyone was. When we cut the cake and did the toast, she had brought a good bottle of Austi for Grayson and I to drink. I can't say enough about Okie Cookies, if you are looking for the best at reasonable cost, call Janet and Tori! They are absolutely the best I could have asked for. Over the top in service and I can't say enough about the food and cake, so fresh and delicious. She even had her staff help my family gather up what they were taking so they could leave before she took care of her cleaning.

Janet was amazing to work with. She was trustworthy and delivered on everything we talked about. Most importantly, her food is delicious. Delicious food was our number one priority at our wedding, so we tried multiple catering companies with big reputations and names in OK before deciding on Okie Cookies. We were surprised because her cost was sooo much less than the other companies. But she brought all her food to our place and let us sample everything. Everything was killer, especially the mac'n'cheese if you're thinking about mac n cheese for your wedding. We threw last minute requests and had last minute guests RSVP but she handled everything with ease and everything went smoothly. We had our florals done with her and they were great and significantly less expensive than other florists. We had tables rented through her, much of the decor, all of the ceremony set-up, the drinks/bar - everything turned out perfectly. She was responsive, professional, and wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend her for anyone's wedding.

Janet, the owner of Okie Cookies Catering, was absolutely unbelievable throughout the entire adventure of searching for a caterer. I was referred to her by my planner, Heather Cole with Forever Cole Events, and I am SO happy that we were able to use Janet for our big day! Not only did she bring us a weeks worth of food for our first tasting (to our house!!), but she also had multiple tastings for us when we changed our minds on a couple of things. The cake was delicious, as was all of our catering for the wedding. She also took care of bartending, which was super helpful (and cut out having to find another vendor!). We will always remember Janet's generosity and how helpful she was for our wedding!
