This review is regarding my experience with Old Ranch. Let me start by saying this venue is gorgeous. Our guests were blown away by the views and the beautiful setup. My negative experience comes in with the payment plan. When we originally signed the contract with Ebi, we agreed upon a payment schedule that was even included in our contract. Despite having the payment plan outlined in the contract, we were charged incorrectly not once but twice during the course of paying for the wedding. The first time Ebi was great and helped fix things. However, the second time he basically asked us to figure it out. Now, if you are planning a wedding and have a payment schedule worked out with your vendors, it isn't easy to just figure things out. I thought that was very insensitive, and with it being so close to our wedding, it put a wrench in some of our payment schedules. If we discuss a payment plan and have it outlined in our contract, the venue should have stuck to that.
Old Ranch was amazing. While venue is absolutely stunning what made this venue so perfect was the staff's willingness to go above and beyond to make our dream wedding come true. They truly treated us like royalty. This venue was originally out of our budget, but due to Covid, they were able to drop the price significantly and provided many free upgrades. We had to have the wedding outdoors and it was one of the best decision we made. They had beautiful market lights that lit up the entire venue and brought a level of class to the outdoor wedding. They literally did everything in their power to make our dream wedding come true and we are so thankful they did.
Everyone here did an amazing job for our wedding. Really appreciate their help! If you are looking for a great location, beautiful view, great service and fair price, this is the one you should go with!
We had our wedding here on 6/1/18. The venue is beautiful, plenty of parking, bridal groom suite and bathrooms. The only reason I couldn’t give 5 stars is there was a little confusion of the communication end. Apparently the women we booked with left the company so we had to start again and it made the planning more stressful. All employees were very friendly and we were happy with having our ceremony only there. Can’t wait to see our photos:)
My first time going to Old Ranch, was to attend a celebration of life for a very close friend's mother. The venue was beautiful and the food was delicious.
With that being said, we were very disappointed. The wait staff began removing all of the food and even the guests plates an hour before our scheduled time was up. I had a plate for my 7 year old, but she didn't even really get to eat it because she was playing with friends and the staff removed the plate before she had a chance to enjoy it. None of us even realized that it was only 6pm, because we were mourning with family and friends, we simply began to say our goodbyes as that was clearly our que to leave. My friend paid for the room until 7pm. Not only did they remove the food but they began stacking chairs and it felt like we had overstayed our time. I have felt less rushed eating at a restaurant at closing time than we did here. Family and friends came from far distances, including out of state, to pay respects to her mother and our time was cut short. Time we will never get back. At a time when we needed each other the most.
After the event, my friend called to express her dissatisfaction and has been continually brushed off. While the conversations have been polite, she never gets a call back, even though she has called several times.
This was NOT a cheap venue. This was NOT the Olive Garden!! And she didn't just have sandwich trays and bags of chips! HUNDREDS of dollars worth of food had been discarded and people were not even given the time to finish what was on their plates. She definitely did NOT get what she paid for!!
Now, not only is she grieving the loss of her mother, but she is having to almost fight to get a resolution to this. For such a "classy" venue, one should expect far more superior customer service especially considering the circumstances.
This is disappointing because we had intended to host at least two more celebrations at Old Ranch because it is a beautiful location. But considering the costs, and what was lost with no resolution, I can't see having any other events there, nor would I recommend the facility to others.
We are so thankful that we had our wedding at Old Ranch Country Club! Alyssa and her team were fabulous to work with and they made the wedding planning process so easy. They have packages at varying price points and they are upfront with all costs and what services you as the client get which we loved. We knew the day we booked what we were getting into and that was great! The venue is beautiful and the food was great the day of – we have guests still commenting about how great the food was. ORCC’s attention to detail kept our wedding planning stress free – the team was responsive, sweet, and guided us throughout the whole process. From booking, to rehearsal dinner, to day of coordination Alyssa and her team had us covered! Thank you ORCC for creating the wedding of our dreams!
I fell in Love with this Venue from the 1st time I visited for a wedding Expo. My husband and I wanted on an outdoor wedding, unfortunately that option is very limited in the OC/LA counties. This Venue provided the best of both Worlds, a beautiful Indoor ball Room with Glass windows that could be open from wall to wall, to enjoy the beautiful terrace overlooking the golf course lagoon. We had Bistro lights, barrels, bars and benches located through out the terrace, which gave all of our guest a beautiful evening under the stars when ever they took a break from dancing :). I booked the Venue over a year prior to our wedding date and their Special events coordinators were so helpful the entire time. They followed up, helped me with Vendors, made all props available at the venue available to me at no extra cost (barrels, hay bales, heaters, easels, benches, barrel bars, and more) and were excited for me until the very last detail. they were so helpful and Amazing. The Day of Staff was friendly, accessible, helpful and very sweet. Thank you Old Ranch Team!!! <3
Andrea and her team at Old Ranch went above and beyond for us from day one. From our first meeting, we knew she would be so helpful. She recommended great vendors and had great ideas. It was nice to relax up until the wedding, knowing we could trust her to make our day great. We would definitely recommend Old Ranch and Andrea’s team for your big day!
I have shot weddings for over 3 years and have a ton of experience with lighting and composition. I know what I am doing and I do my job well. People hire me based on my taste and how I edit. If you're not a photographer, please do place my subjects in crappy lighting situations and crappy compositions.
I shot here not too long ago and I had an incompetent wedding coordinator that works for the country club keep telling me where to shoot the bride and groom. The coordinator even took the bride away from where I wanted to shoot and placed her in an ugly, dark area to take pictures. She also insisted we take pictures in an area that had harsh sunlight on their faces. So sick of wedding coordinators that think they understand light and composition. You're not a photographer so stop thinking you know what's best for the bride and groom. Luckily, I was able to tell the bride and groom of what I wanted and got the shots that I wanted and what the bride and groom wanted.
Pro: Our Wedding day with Alyssa's help was so beautiful, she is very knowledgeable she helped reduce the stress away on our wedding day. Big thanks to Alyssa she is the one you what for your wedding. Everyone are so helpful and friendly during our wedding.
Con: Everything one told us the food were not very good. During our food tasting the chicken were everyone’s favorite, but everything were so dry on our big day. What bothers me the most which I had to find out from our guest after the wedding. During cocktail hour, the venue require mandatory $2 dollar tips for drinks even for the water. That’s so sad, we had first hour inclusive drink plus we pay few hundred for the guest for open bar. I Should had my guest worry about finding cash to pay for the mandatory tips that we didn’t even know about. We been to few wedding for friends and family, had never once they make us pay mandatory tips for the drinks. I am pretty upset how the venue operate on this aspect.
We had our wedding here two weeks ago and it was AMAZING. All the event coordination staff was so helpful and nice, especially our coordinator Alyssa. It was so nice having the use of the bridal room and grooms room to get ready with our bridal party. We had our ceremony offsite at a nearby church, but the Old Ranch was more than nice enough to let us get ready there. The night went off without a hitch, and it was everything I could of dreamed of and more. We def would recommend the Old Ranch Country Club as a wedding reception venue.
We had our dream wedding at Old Ranch Country Club!! From the gorgeous scenery to the amazing staff, my husband and I feel like we hit the jackpot when we picked this venue. We really did our research to find a venue that was in Southern California and wasn’t going to drain our bank account, and Old Ranch was our perfect fit. Not only did it have a free and convenient huge parking lot for our guests, it was great being able to have our ceremony and reception all at one location, and it was very easy for our more elderly guests to get around the venue.
Neither of us had planned a wedding before, and naturally the journey can be very stressful at times. Andrea (and the rest of the event team) went above and beyond to answer all of our questions and help us come up with fun ideas all in a timely manner. Whenever I would email or call her, Andrea always responded immediately with positivity and professionalism, we loved her so much!! We met with Andrea several times throughout the planning process and she really made the planning easy for us by giving us timeline suggestions and a list of preferred vendors. Besides the amazing planning help, the team set up the reception decor exactly how I dreamed it would be. I really didn’t stress about anything the day of because I knew that they would take care of everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. We had our own bridal attendant, Veronica, who was with us for the entire wedding day and night and literally got us anything we needed. She stayed with us as we took our pictures after the ceremony around the venue and helped us find the most gorgeous backdrops, including some beautiful stairs, weeping willows, and a wooden bridge on the golf course. At one point, I even saw Veronica holding one of my bridesmaid’s infants as we were taking our group pictures :).
The servers and wait staff were so professional and quick when serving dinner to our 200 guests, we didn’t have people waiting long to be served. The food was also so delicious and so many of our guests raved about how tasty it was. We chose two different chicken options and a pasta dish and all got high reviews from our guests. Also, With so many guests (200) we weren’t sure what we wanted to do with the bar, and so Andrea helped us brainstorm all of our options and we ended up doing a hosted bar for the entire night, and it ended up being super reasonable because the cocktail hour was included in our package.
If you’re looking for a venue who is able to coordinate so much for you, Old Ranch is your place. I did not have to hire a private wedding coordinator because their team is amazing and can handle everything for you, which was definitely a big money saver. Thank you to everyone at Old Ranch, we love you all!!! Thanks for making our day simply the best day ever. If you’re at all interested in Old Ranch, set up an appointment to meet with their event staff, walk around the property and I am confident that this too could be where you have a stress-free wedding of your dreams :).
Beautiful full-service location for an Orange County wedding.
While it was difficult to plan a Southern California wedding from our home in the Northeast, Old Ranch Country Club quickly stood out for three reasons: 1) the environment was stately without being too overtly golfy (don't have to read 1950s golf stats while you pee), 2) reasonable pricing, and 3) no affiliation at all with Donald Trump.
Ended up being an excellent choice. Top marks to Alyssa and staff as they accommodated our unusual requests (and a persistent mother-in-law) with custom touches including finding a particular ginger beer for our special drink and furnishing milk shots for our end-of-night cookies. Appreciate their cake vendor options (included), as Sweet Traders furnished an amazing custom cake.
Outdoors wedding ceremony location was beautiful even before the florists, and the top-of-stairs entrance proved a dramatic (if perilous) entrance for the bride. Reception dinner was excellent, particularly the truffle mashed potatoes. Interestingly, while the salmon tasted the best at our pre-wedding tasting session, consensus was that the steak ruled the actual night itself. We weren't impressed with the chicken, so left it off the menu.
Free parking, and the location is within walking distance to peri-wedding essentials such as a hotel, as well as In-N-Out. Unfortunately, the wedding package doesn't include a round of golf; guess our home club isn't up to snuff with these guys for reciprocal privileges.
We recently held our daughter's Wedding and Reception at Old Ranch Country Club in Seal Beach CA.
I can't say enough. The bride and groom were very happy, our guests all had a fabulous time, beautiful venue and decorations, yummy food. All and all we were thrilled with the end result!!!!
We owe our gratitude to the best wedding coordinator you could possibly wish for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank You Andrea, and all the staff for making our daughter's special day truly magical.

The staff at the country club, from day one, were amazing. They were friendly and helpful as they worked with us for almost a year. In the final stages of wedding planning, we had Alyssa as our wedding coordinator and she did her job seamlessly. She made sure we were happy and did what we asked. She offered her experience when we asked her questions and her answers were always helpful. By the day of the wedding, everything was perfect. Nothing went wrong. It sounds cliche, but it really was the best day ever. All of our guests said it was the most fun wedding they had been to. Our parents and siblings keep reliving the day and have said "it was the most perfect day. Nothing went wrong." We relieve that day very often and are just filled with very good feelings. Old Ranch Country Club is a magical place and we feel so lucky to have had our wedding there, with Alyssa as our wedding coordinator!
What can I say about Old Ranch Country Club and Andrea, Alyssa, and Kathleen that will ever do them true justice. Having my wedding here was a complete pipe dream, we went to visit the venue because I have always thought it was beautiful! I thought for sure this would be unaffordable but boy was I wrong. They have plenty of packages to choose from for all budgetary needs. We met with Kathleen who showed us around the venue including bridal and groom rooms, the spectacular outside ceremony site (which by the way sells itself!), and the indoor reception area. It was beautiful and I fell in love! The staircase that the bride comes down from is breathtaking and like every fairytale you could ever want to be a part of! Once we booked our date we were given a packet with a bunch of questions that start helping you plan your perfect day, which is really nice to have because planning a wedding can be overwhelming. Next we met Alyssa and Andrea.... The most amazing ladies you will meet. They are patient, visionary, responsive, sweet, and passionate about what they do and absolutely beautiful inside and out! They were always so quick to respond to any questions and concerns. The day of rehearsal they are completely calm and take control to make sure you get all the issues and kinks worked out before the big day, which is no easy feat when you have friends and family that can't focus. Then the big day comes and although there are other events going on while getting ready they never skip a beat, anything and everything you need is taken care of by these lovely ladies and their staff. My wedding was everything I wanted and more. The food was amazing and everyone still tells me it was the best steak they have ever had. I can't stress enough that Old Ranch is a dream venue and you will be so happy making that decision.
Thank you Old Ranch, you truly made my wedding the most memorable and stress free day!
This is a beautiful wedding venue located in an OC area. I have recently got married here. I had both ceremony and reception here. When I was shopping for my wedding venues, I decided to pick this venue b/c of its beautiful view/semi all inclusive package/ great location.
I planned my wedding from Michigan without a wedding planner and I was pleased with the result on the wedding day.
Venue food: it offers a great variety of choice to choose from for the main entree. Through our complimentary food tasting, we went with Grilled New York Steak, which end up to be the an excellent choice. We got so much compliment from our guests of how good the food was. We were able to eat it during our wedding day despite how busy we were. The steak was so juicy/tender and flavorful. We paired it with truffle mashed potato which was the best mashed potato we had ever had. All our guests were just so impressed with the quality of the food. The food on the day of the wedding was better than when we first tasted during our tasting day!..
Venue amenities/facility: what attracted me the most as a bride is its spacious bridal suite!..Our photographer ended up taking many photo inside of bridal suite b/c of its great lightening/natural light and how spacious it is.
-Its ceremony gazebo!..really nice!..many of our friends said our wedding photo background look like a picture or like we were in a movie..of course our photographer did a great job but at the same time, this venue offers a great background enable the photographer to take many pretty nice pic. The only negative thing i could say about the venue is there are not that many places to take pic..We had a bridal attendant showed us where we were "allowed" to take photo. and when we were there taking photo there were some golfers there as well. The wedding event would not prevent people from golfing at this place but if you pick an evening time esp Sunday to have the wedding..most golfers would already left toward beginning of my wedding ceremony
Coordination/help: I had Andrea as the event director!..she was awesome!!..she actually came on board right after i signed the contract with this place last year March. I had doubt in the beginning, but as time went by..her professionalism and ability eliminated my doubts toward her. She is really organized and most importantly..she was really prompt in responding my e-mails. And I usually e-mail her tons of questions. she was really patient with me and answered all my questions/addressed all my concern throughout the year. She doesn't work M-F..so when she is off usually Monday-Tuesday ..she would not be able to answer any of my e-mails when she is off but when she is back to her office she replied my e-mails within 24 hours. At the end, the wedding turned out to be the way I had imagined. She just made my wedding process easier esp when i was planning it far away. If you are an organized person you can totally do it without a wedding coordinator and with Andrea's assistance.
Price: it offers three types of package that you can choose from and depending on the month/day of the week/timing..the food& beverage minimum would be different. We picked Sunday evening b/c it was cheaper..i would say the price is on the higher end compare to other venues. Its price range is above average, but the quality of service we got was worth it.
I would recommend this venue for newly engaged couples to have their wedding there.
We had our wedding at Old Ranch Country Club last May. It was an amazing experience. The venue is stunning and the food is incredible. All our guests raved about how great the food was and how stunning the view of the golf course was. We had Amy as our coordinator and she is truly wonderful. She helped us organize the timeline and offered great advice. Thanks again Amy!
My husband and I were looking for a few weeks for a wedding location for our wedding in October 2014 we saw a few places but nothing that really jumped out at us for the price. We originally wanted to have it at Disney but could not afford it. When we came to Old Ranch we were greeted by the friendly staff and Nicole helped show us around she was polite and very sweet. She showed us the rooms for dressing and then the outside which had a beautiful gazebo and staircase. It was perfect for my grand entrance and the gazebo was very beautiful we were sold on the place. Lets skip ahead a few months later to October. Nicole the entire time was very pleasant to work with and so funny she helped make everything so easy and go smoothly and was very helpful the whole time. My dressing room was beautiful and spacious for my bridal party. The first look was beautiful coming down the staircase and our wedding went perfectly and was amazing for the price. I loved the venue and the staff and the food was beyond awesome. I would highly rate this place for couples to consider getting married there. On behalf of my husband and I and our families we thank you for all you did on our big day and we loved the whole experience. I truly felt like a princess on my wedding day =]
Gorgeous ceremony site with gazebo, lake, fountain and green golf course background. (If only the rude golfers would stay away during the ceremony! I was quite surprised we had 3 sets of very rude golfers directly behind us during our ceremony). The bride makes an entrance down a beautiful staircase.
The venue is a great place for pictures. The two coordinators are very helpful and know what they are doing. They have a list of preferred vendors that are all really good. I would definitely recommend using their suggestions, as the only issues we had with vendors were not from that list. Amy went through everything in detail through the engagement and made special accommodations when needed. Nicole, recently married herself is a pro and really helped to calm my nerves the day of. Everything was set up beautifully, the food is amazing, and the spaces are roomy and quite nice for cocktail hour and reception too.
Fantastic brunch! Service was great.. Planner was efficient and kept the flow nicely! Grounds are beautiful and ceremony site has lovely view!
I can't say enough about the staff at ORCC. My wedding WAS PERFECT! They were so detailed and so efficient. They helped with every question I had. My wedding coordinator changed throughout my planning process.. and it was so very seamless (I thought for sure someone would forget something). I am so glad I made the choice to have my wedding at this venue. It was beautiful, elegant, and I was even told this was the best some of my guests had ever been to.
We visited Old Ranch Country Club several times before our Sept. 29, 2013 wedding. And every time we go here, we fall in love over and over again with the gorgeous view of the golf course, the fountain, the trees and the lake. Our wedding turned out really beautiful in the pictures! Thumbs up to the chef and the restaurant staffs too! We received a lot of compliments about the food. I was also given a personal assistant, her name is Yesenia, she is so sweet. It was a great experience! I felt like a real princess on my wedding day! I definitely recommend this venue! Great food, great value, great service!
The venue was magnificent! The staff was awesome and quick to do anything! Service was amazing! Nicole (onsite coordinator) was A+++! Food was delicious! My husband and I only received compliments on how well we did on planning the wedding... little does everybody know that it has a lot to do with where you decide to have the wedding at because the staff there made everything run so smooth and perfect!!
Could not have been happier with my entire experience at this venue. From the beautiful landscape, ceremony space, reception room, quality of food, and the exceptional staff everything was just perfect.
Old Ranch Country Club is truly a beautiful venue. The gazebo, the stairs, the lake in the background, it was all perfect. The customer service at Old Ranch makes this place exceptional. From our first visit we knew we wanted to get married at Old Ranch. As we walked in the wrong entrance everyone was courteous and directed us to the front desk. The day of coordinators, Amy and Nicole, are with you every step of the way to make your wedding perfect. From our first consult with them until the day of the wedding they checked to see how we were doing and were able to accommodate some of the special needs we had for the wedding.
The day of the wedding was flawless. Amy had met with our DJ, which allowed them to make everything smooth. When I arrived at the site the bridal suite was open and ready for my girls and I. The bridal suite they have is one of the biggest I have seen. Couches, TV, and enough mirrors to make sure you catch everything. With six girls in the bridal party, mother, hair stylist, and make up in this room, we did not feel crowded. My husband also had a big room with a TV. Old Ranch made getting ready for the wedding very easy.
As the wedding began, Amy and Nicole made sure we were all in our places. My husband mentioned that they even kept stragglers from coming in late and walking in on the wedding march. If you are looking for a spectacular entrance, coming down those stairs at Old Ranch is unlike any other. The pictures of this were perfect. The wedding went flawlessly.
We last saw Amy and Nicole as we were making our grand entrance. The night was turned over to the catering coordinator. The reception space is BEAUTIFUL. It was large and easily accommodated our 225 guests. The gold course in the background makes for a picture perfect scene. The bartenders were excellent according to the guests. The wait staff was excellent. The food was amazing. The steaks they serve were so large, we mysteriously ran out of steaks. We think our guests suddenly changed their mind from chicken to steak upon seeing beef option. The vegetarians at our reception thoroughly enjoyed the vegetarian option.
If we had to do it all over again we wouldn’t change a thing. Amy and Nicole are the jewels of Old Ranch Country Club Weddings. They helped make our wedding exactly how my husband and I envisioned it. I highly recommend Old Ranch Country Club. Everyone still talks about how perfect and beautiful our wedding was, and Old Ranch played a huge part in making that happen.
Old Ranch Country Club was perfect in every way. My husband and I couldn't have asked for more. Our guests still raved about our venue after the party was over...the food was great, the view was beautiful, and the people were so accommodating. To top it off, my husband and I paid for our special day so price was very important when looking for a venue and Old Ranch was not only affordable, but worth every penny. Check it out and you'll see what I mean.
We had a Friday night wedding outside at sunset for 127 people, and the reception following in 2 adjoining ballrooms afterwards. The view over the golf course from the gazebo was stunning for the ceremony and at night. The banks of windows to the ballrooms open out to the patio that overlooks the ponds and fountains on the course. They have packages that include the cake from a choice of phenomenal bakeries, appetizers, dinner and bar options. We met the chef and ate lunch in the dining room the month before our wedding. The site had recently been renovated. Everything was clean, and beautiful. There is a brideal suite...dressing room and sitting room, and lockers for all of the bridal parties' possessions. There is also a groom's room for the guys to hang out in. These are special to ORCC, most places we looked at had one or both of these rooms as part of the golf facilities locker rooms. We had the facility to ourselves for the entire day for pictures and getting ready. The staff was courteous and professional. Everything went off smoothly. Minor problem at the end, the bakery we chose gives the bride and groom a replica of the top of their wedding cake for their first anniversary so we didn't have to save it for a year, but the servers were not aware of this and didn't cut the top cake. At the end my cousins saw them throwing it away and intercepted it. Others complained about not getting any cake at all...including my mom.
I loved this venue! The staff was so accommodating and worked with all of our requests. The food was amazing. Tasted like a 5 star restaurant instead of gross wedding food. Amazing view at sunset. A little pricey but definitely worth it!
I am so happy we chose Old Ranch Country Club for our ceremony and reception! The staff at Old Ranch are extremely helpful, organized and professional. Nicole from Catering always made time for any questions we had all the way up to the wedding. Old Ranch made sure the day of the event went smoothly and there was always someone on hand to help and keep us on schedule. The ceremony location is beautiful and the reception area is perfect. We loved our experience with Old Ranch - they really made sure your wedding day was exactly what you wanted.
Needless to say, when we found out that our previous wedding venue double booked 5-weeks before our wedding day we were in a panic, but then we found the Old Ranch Country Club!!!
We instantly fell in love with this venue. Our first meeting with Kathleen. She was compassionate wiht our situation & instantly went into problem solving mode to see what she & ORCC could do to help us. By the end of our meeting, & few tears of joy, we knew that Old Ranch Country Club was going to be the perfect venue to become husband & wife.
Leading up to our event our event coordinator, Nicole, was there for us in every possible way. She helped answer any questions we had, quickly replied to any emails and gave us the confidence we needed to know that everything would be seamless for our wedding day.
The day of our wedding, things couldn't have gone smoother! Nicole was with us every step of the way and my husband & I had an amazing time!!! If there were any hiccups in the day we would have never know because everything was so smooth and exciting that we really did have the time of our lives!!!
A few perks... Private Bridal Suite for my hair & make-up, Grooms Room with a flat screen for the guys to enjoy ESPN & "refreshments" before the wedding, Personal Attendants for the B&G who made sure our glasses we never empty, persoanlized dinner dishes for B&G and most importantly... The peace of mind that our day was going to be AMAZING!!!
Thank you Old Ranch Country Club for such an amazing Wedding!
Nicole at Old Ranch was great! She was able to handle all of our requests and questions early on and up to the day of the wedding. The venue, especially the ceremony site was beautiful and we got blessed with amazing weather on our wedding day. Having a bridal and groom suite at the site was extremely useful. Highly recommended!
Old Ranch Country Club helped us to have the wedding of our dreams! The grounds are just beautiful and the staff was so friendly and courteous! Nicole was our wedding coordinator and she was so helpful and patient! Different members of my family (including me) have severe allergies to wheat and nuts. Nicole went above and beyond to make sure that the wedding was nut-free and that there was a gluten-free menu option for my friends and family members with celiac disease. In addition a vegetarian option was made available. The food was wonderful- many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they had ever had! The wedding rehearsal was well organized, quick and painless! Everything was so organized! Our wedding day was perfect! The groom’s room and the bridal suite are so nice!! They are the perfect place to relax and get ready for your big day. The outdoor ceremony area is so peaceful and beautiful. In addition the wait staff was so polite and helpful. Everything was perfect!! Thank you Old Ranch Country Club!!
Old Ranch Country Club exceeded my expectations and more! Amy and Nicole were both wonderful to work with. They were very helpful throughout the process. On the day of the wedding, they worked seamlessly to make sure everything goes as planned. I got so many compliments on how organized the wedding was thanks to ORCC.
Old Ranch was less than great... The actual service staff for dinner was very attentive and helpful, which is the only reason why ORCC is even receiving 1 star.
My bridal party and I got ready at Old Ranch and were able to see the salons come together for our reception. In the afternoon, the limo picked us up and took us to the church for the ceremony. Since the staff was still putting the details together, we assumed everything was in order.
After 2 in-person meetings and numerous emails to confirm details and the date, our DJ did not show up. He was a preferred vendor for ORCC, and in fact I got his phone number from them! The DJ mixed up our wedding date and due to that mistake, he was late to setup and start our reception. This could have easily been avoided had ORCC paid attention during the setup. Instead, they waited until the start of our cocktail hour to call him and find out where he was. He arrived an hour and a half later, now cutting into our reception time.
Our best man went to help handle this situation while we were having our pictures done, and the server he spoke with complained that he assaulted her. (As a side note, our best man is an employment litigation attorney- who obviously knows how to appropriately approach an employee.)
Just before our grand entrance, the general manager, Ken Kelly, appeared and started an argument with our best man regarding this server. Ken even threatened to have our best man arrested. The way ORCC handled this was completely inappropriate and to this day we have not received an apology. In fact, Ken confronted my husband about this very review.
Nicole and Amy worked so hard to make our day perfect and they accomplished it. Everything come out as plan.
This venue is awesome, the staff is first-rate and the food is gourmet. Our guests were were so comfortable and raved about how beautiful it was and how delicious the food was. We worked with Amy at ORCC, who is very knowledgeble and professional. We loved this place.
When we were looking at wedding venues, we saw this location and that was it. We selected it and booked it even prior to getting engaged so we could get out date. The staff is incredible (Especially Nicole in the catering department). They made our day memorable, the reception was stunning and I would not have wanted to have my special day anywhere else!! From the moment we sat down all the way through the final 'production', everything was first class. I will also say that the food is hands down the best wedding food I have ever tasted. I received many compliments on the dish that we had from guests as well as our vendors. :) I would HIGHLY recommend Old Ranch. Go there...take a look around, and you will be sold. :)
This venue was not only gorgeous, but the service provided by Amy and Nicole was outstanding! We searched everywhere from Santa Monica to Dana Point for a venue. This venue was not only affordable, but the most beautiful and easily accessible by all of our guests! In addition, the food was amazing!
They were amazing! I would recomend that anyone looking for a venue start here first. The service was perfect and more than I could have asked for. The sight was beautiful and the food was fabulous.
Beautiful venue, amazing bridal suite very reasonably priced. Our coordinator Nicole was awesome. My only complaint, where you can take pictures is very limited - can only take photos right in front of banquet space, cannot be on the course. I was given the impression from another coordinator that the club members/golfers come first over the wedding.
The venue was beautiful and the staff was amazing. I could not have had a better day.
Nicole at Old Ranch was amazing to work with. This venue has different packages that all include food, drinks, cake, linens, set up, tear down. BEAUTIFUL setting for pictures. The staff was amazing and everything went off without a hitch.
I am so glad that I chose the Old Ranch Country Club as my wedding venue - everything went perfectly! The staff went out of their way to make sure everything was in place just the way I wanted and I received SOO MANY compliments from my guests about the decor, the food, and the staff. I would definitely recommend them!!
The place is beautiful. The outside balcony for cocktails was perfect. The food was great we received nothing but compliments on the food.;You're not allowed to take advantage of all the country club can offer in terms of pictures because they put a lot of restrictions out on the golf course.
The ballroom had one side that overlooked the golf course, which had a few fountains. At night they were lit up so nicely. Also, they had a separate room for just the bridal party for cocktails, it made the grand entrance so much more grand. The staff also made sure to connect with our other vendors, that way everyone knew where to go, when to be where and who was in charge. They also took all the time we needed to meet with them and plan all the fun details, down to color napkins and seating arrangements. Their was ample parking, well lit. They were also great about letting our evening go on longer than we had budgeted. We had to pay, of course, but they didn't kick us out. Everything was fantastic!;When people get off the freeway, it's a pretty quick exit to look for, coming from the north. That's it! Not too bad!
It was a great value for what you got. The golf course was beautiful; The on site facilitator was not warm and fuzzy. She wasn't very professional. The food was great but the staff clearned plates too quickly. It seemed like they wanted to get all dishes cleaned before event was over the way they wouldn' let people finish their meals and cake.
The view and the ballroom itself were absolutely beautiful. The food is amazing!!!;It's a bit pricey but I think it's well worth it. The only thing I really was annoyed by is that they started major construction on the site shortly after I booked there and yet they had not mentioned those plans to me at all. So driving into the place was not as beautiful as when I first booked my wedding there and the cocktail area got shifted to a different part of the building but it turned out okay.
