The bar staff was great the venue staff was great I cannot say enough positive things about this place. If you book here it might be a little bit more expensive but it’s worth the extra one or $2000 in the end of it all , we had originally booked another place who decided they didn’t want to have a wedding so when I found this place, I was so pleased to find that they were kind generous and thoughtful. Thank you Brittany and Carrie for making our day super special.

On our wedding day, we had a little snaffoo where the A/C stopped working in the bridal suite in the midst of the women getting ready. Within 20 minutes of notifying Shelly, she was on the property and helping to get it handled! We quickly moved to the Grooms suite so that we didn't get behind and were able to move back into the Bridal Suite within an hour. It was really quite seamless. They made everything we asked for a reality. It was literally perfect and we wish we could do it all over again. The Dobbin is a FANTASTIC venue with absolutely amazing staff and you won't be disappointed if you choose them! Thank you all for everything you did to make our day as perfect as could be. We couldn't have asked for a better place to get married.

we both LOVED everything about this venue. It’s so naturally beautiful that you don’t have to decorate much with flowers, candles, etc. to make the venue fit your wedding style/vibe. I mainly corresponded with Brittany, the general manager, while planning my wedding. She was helpful & responded to about 90% of my emails - I did have to send up follow-up emails at times, but this place has at least 1-2 weddings every weekend. She is dealing with & responding to tons of brides, so I try to show her grace there. Brittany also helped me find a few affordable vendors as you have to bring a big team of vendors together to execute your day. ODS provides the venue, tables, and chairs. As far as setup (outside of the ceremony chairs), you have to hire another vendor(s) to assist with this. However, the managers have lots of good recommendations on which vendors can help with what. Additionally, ODS offers at least 2 open houses per year where they have a variety of different wedding vendors available at the venue to talk with couples; this greatly helped us as we were deciding which vendors to hire for our wedding. So many of our wedding guests kept telling my husband and I how beautiful the venue was and how it fit our personalities very well. We were trying to go for a rustic style wedding, & I believe we were successful with that by choosing this venue! A couple words of caution - the bridal suite is small, so I recommend having a smaller bridal party because even with only 4 bridesmaids, our flower girl, my mom, and me, we had to do some shuffling of people and items in the suite while getting ready. Also, take the alcohol recommendations from the managers with a grain of salt. We had about 150 - 160 adults at our wedding. We had 2 kegs of beer & 36 bottles of wine. The winery I worked with to supply the wine recommended 42 - 45 bottles of wine while ODS staff recommended 30. With cocktail hour beginning at 3:30 PM, we were out of the wine we ordered by 6/6:30 PM, and the bar didn’t close until 8:30 PM. I should have went with the winery’s recommendation. With all that said, beautiful venue, helpful staff, and memories made that will last forever!

My wedding couldn't have been more perfect and I know a lot of that has to do with location. All of my guests raved about how pretty our wedding was, the ceremony site (chapel) and reception site (McCoy Station). I could go on and on, but you need to see this venue for your self to truly fall in love. Once you set your eyes on it, it's kind of impossible not to love it. a threatened the safety of a venue I had booked back in January. I called around desperately trying to find a backup plan, and this venue was available. Even though we were still on the hook for paying for our original venue if the hurricane did not damage it, Olde Dobbin Station jumped to help me begin planning our “Plan B” just in case. I mean seriously, 96 hours before I was supposed to walk down the aisle, they were doing everything they could to take the stress off of me. Although we will not be having our wedding at ODS in the end, I had peace of mind and felt so supported!!! Exceptional customer service, good people, AND beautiful venue!

e staff at Old Dobbin were amazing. When speaking to Carrie the owner or Brittany the manager, I felt as though I was speaking to one of my friends. They were always prompt in answering my many, many questions, and gave advise when asked. They didn’t seem to be bothered by this nervous mamma. If you are looking for a venue that is not only stunning, but your guest will rave about, affordable, and has a great staff of years and years of experience, then Olde Dobbin Station is for you.

Which saves time getting it ready AND money👍🏼 I had an outdoor wedding at the altar and an indoor reception in their big building. First of all, I worked with Brittany throughout my whole engagement. My engagement was about a year and 3 months so you can imagine how many questions you can think of in that time. I thought of them all and asked Brittany every single one of them. And without hesitation, Brittany was quick to respond and always gave a positive answer. If it was a no, she gave alternate options or different ways of doing it, which sometimes turned out better than the original plan! She kept in contact and was always willing to do whatever was needed in order to make the day run smoother for me. I never met Carrie, the other girl that runs ODS but I’ve heard nothing but good things. There was a time that I was having pretty big medical issues and we weren’t sure if we would/could continue with our wedding day, even though we had already booked ODS. I messaged Brittany and updated her on what was going on. Before she even mentioned our booking, she was quick to ask how I was doing and offer her help and support in any way possible. When we talked about moving our wedding date, she told us to not even worry about it, that they would reserve whatever day we decided to do and they would keep our date saved until we decided to change it. And when I told them my health was in the clear and we were good to go with our original date, her and Carrie cried happy tears with us!! I could go on and on about this venue and the people that keep it running, but I really want to say that I would highly consider looking into them more and booking them for your big day. You will NOT be disappointed. My wedding day was the best day ever and majority of the credit I give to the place where we made those memories. We will forever love Olde Dobbin Station!

My guest count was 180 - and there was PLENTY of space. For the quality of the venue, owners/managers, the size of the space, the cost is priceless (which it is actually VERY affordable)! I can't thank Olde Dobbin Station and their team enough for such an easy and FUN experience. My wedding day was everything I could have imagined it to be and it all came to life because of ODS!

Everyone ohh and ahhed over the place! The reception hall is somewhat divided by three arches, so the dinner was served on one side of the room and the dance floor took up the other. Carrie and Brittany were so easy to work with and the staff on duty the night of our wedding was helpful and efficient. s have so much character that they don’t require a ton of décor inside. The owner, Carrie, is so down to earth and easy to work with! She does have a lot of rules as to what you can and can’t do with decor, but that is what keeps the venue in such clean, pristine shape. You simply aren’t going to find another venue with the historic, industrial charm, and sheer space that Olde Dobbin has!

Carrie and Brittany will always be there no matter how many times you need to call and they will always calm your worries. On our wedding day Brittany, the security, staff, and bartenders were beyond helpful and sweet. In one particular instance, our wedding and grooms cakes were delivered around the time the ceremony was held at an offsite location, and the grooms cake come to find out did not fit onto the cake table we had designated it for. My now husband and I had no idea of this mishap, because by the time we walked into the venue the grooms cake had been moved to a new, decorated table all thanks to the absolutely wonderful people at ODS. They also readily jumped in to help assist with our sparkler exit allowing for our family and wedding party to enjoy the event without having to worry about distributing, lighting, and collecting the sparklers. We are so happy we chose ODS for our reception venue - they are truly a gem and they have our every recommendation!

Dobbins let us move our date without batting an eyelash. We are so grateful to them for everything they did that went above and beyond. There were so many beautiful places to take pictures and we would HIGHLY recommend getting married here.

Plus, their calendar is up-to-date; you can easily pay them online; they have very flexible bar options which can fit all different needs and guest sizes. Brittany, the venue manager, was the main person who helped us for the whole process. She emailed clear instructions and rules for us to read and follow. To me, I really like that because it made our communication and planning more efficient. On the wedding day, everything was so smooth and perfect. The whole wedding turned out very pretty and all of our friends and families said it was definitely worth the driving.
