Christine played such a vital role in helping us to have the wedding of our dreams. She is kind, passionate about her job, professional, straightforward (SO necessary in this field of work), and so so so organized. There are so many little details that i had no idea even existed, and she handled them all with ease. She is very quick with responding to emails, texts, and phone calls. She kept all of our vendors perfectly aligned and was so good with handling the ones who were difficult to get responses from!! Leading up to wedding day she kept us calm and organized. But, let me tell you, the day of the wedding she is a force to be reckoned with!!! She gets it DONE y’all. I can truly say not a single thing went wrong. We had the perfect day. Christine was brilliant. Excellent both on the day and at every turn of organizing. From the first phone call Christine was organized and gave us her opinion very straight, something we were grateful for. She helped us navigate the difficult world of vendors and locations, giving us her honest opinions about what each could provide for us and helped us make those difficult decisions. Her response time is nothing short of exceptional and if she didn’t have an answer immediately, she hustled to get one as soon as she possibly could, contacting anyone that needed to be contacted on our behalves. If you are planning a wedding anywhere near Christine, you need to hire her. When we woke up the day after our wedding, my wife’s first words to me were “can you imagine if we didn’t have Christine?” The answer is no. Christine is everything you can ever ask for in a wedding planner. Her attention to detail and responsiveness is insane. She always had an answer to our questions. She gave excellent advice when we asked for her opinion. Importantly, her guidance was always (1) in line with our overall vision and (2) definitive and clear – i.e., it always gave me great comfort that it seemed like she was extremely experienced and great at what she does. It was no surprise to me that my hunch was correct. Christine was so organized with the vendors – she sent out multiple emails to each of our vendors (15+) leading up to the event. Due to her tireless effort to be on top of everything for us, there were a couple instances where she corrected our vendors on details (for example, they were planning to show up at the wrong time). Her performance on wedding day was everything I hoped and more. Besides the fact that the day went perfectly and according to plan down to the minute on her timeline, Christine’s demeanor and guidance on the actual day was very comforting for me and my wife. Truthfully, my only regret is that we didn’t do the full package and that I literally didn’t hire her the day after I got engaged. She was worth every single penny and then some.

From my first consultation phone call with Christine from Olive & Ivory I knew I needed her. She did an unbelievable job with my wedding weekend. I was toying with the idea of a coordinator until I actually spoke to Christine on the phone. She was hired as a "Day of Coordinator" but she did so much more than that. The weeks leading up to my wedding, she was available to me all day, everyday. She ran through every minute of the day not missing one detail, thinking of things I didn't even know I had to. If there were issues on the day of the wedding, I had no idea because Christine took care of everything. She was unbelievably thorough and help my wedding dreams come true. She created a detailed file with all the information for the event and made sure all vendors and wedding party members were on the same page. She took many things off my plate, but the most important thing she took off my plate was my stress. She offered the most appropriate and necessary recommendations and advice. I had no worries once I knew Christine was involved. My venue (Pelican Club) and other vendors knew Christine and were happy to hear when she was my coordinator. She reputation speaks volumes. Christine planned our wedding for 11/16/24. My wife already left a glowing review but Christine was so amazing that I felt like I needed to post a separate (also glowing) review. From start to finish, Christine was on top of all details. She was freakishly responsive to messages and emails (literally would respond comprehensively within 5 minutes of us sending a random message) and understood our vision entirely. Christine was not afraid to give us her honest opinion, which is something that we found incredibly valuable. Perhaps most importantly, Christine was able to provide constructive feedback to our ideas that allowed them to work practically while still incorporating our vision. We highly recommend Christine to anyone who wants a planner that is responsive, creative, thoughtful, realistic, and fun.

Christine was amazing! We cannot recommend her enough. We live in another state and she was so helpful in planning our wedding from afar. I have never met someone so organized and efficient. She guided us through the whole process, giving us feedback and helpful opinions at every stage. We got married at a brand new venue which had never held a wedding before so there were a ton of logistics and we had to basically start from scratch with a blank slate, and she thought of every detail. On the day of the wedding, she was extremely organized and removed any stress from us by taking the lead on coordinating every single thing. We put all our trust in her and it went perfectly. Christine is small but MIGHTY! She was there for advice and recommendations whenever we needed them. Her response time was out of this world, and she was always easily available. She came to our flower meeting and helped speak on our behalf when we felt uncomfortable doing so. She always came to us with her recommendations (vendor, décor, timeline, etc.) but also reminded us that if we felt enthusiastic about something she would always do what we preferred. We had last-minute changes due to the weather and she managed all the updates so quickly you would never have known there was a change. Throughout our entire process, she was super organized, detail-orientated, and had our day planned down to the minute. Christine was a perfect choice to help plan our daughter's wedding! From the time she came onboard to the wedding day, Christine was professional and never missed a beat! The day of our daughter's wedding went perfectly and we credit much of that to Christine's competent, calm and compassionate manner. I am a recent Mother of the Bride (07/04/2024) wedding and would give 5 stars plus for how well every detail was managed - even a few last minute tweaks were seamlessly handled. Christine arrived early (and I say that as a good thing!) on the wedding day and just calmly went about taking care of EVERYTHING. She had a very thorough checklist and time agenda so clearly a lot of work had been done ahead of time. As the Mother of the Bride, I was able to just enjoy the day knowing all the organizing was in someone else’s hands. As this was an out of state wedding- we were reliant on Christine for vendor referrals and all were excellent!

From the very first conversation, we knew Christine from Olive & Ivory would be a great fit for us. My groom and I pride ourselves in our organization, but Christine blows us both out of the water! She gave us the confidence we needed to plan our wedding in 6 months time and have it turn out exactly as we envisioned. Christine was available to us throughout the planning process to answer our many questions, offer vendor suggestions, draft contracts with vendors, and ultimately ease our worries. I am especially grateful for her role on the day of. I had a Big Fat Greek Wedding with 260 guests, a 20 person wedding party spread across a church ceremony venue and a different reception venue. Prior to our wedding we’d already lined up most of the vendors on our own, but knew we would need help coordinating toward the end and day of the wedding. With SoFL being a wedding destination, there is no shortage of wedding planners. When we found Christine online, we recognized she was the type of person we wanted to help connect the dots to make our special day a success. We had thought we were pretty well set before we brought her on board, but there were a number of intricate details which either slipped my mind or hadn’t occurred to me, and our wedding day would have been a stressful nightmare if not for Christine! I cannot even begin to put into works how highly I think of Christine and her team! I started working with Christine about 3 months prior to my wedding and my only regret is that I did not find her sooner. Christine made me feel as if I were the only bride she was working with. (There were several!) She was very prompt with communication. I never waited longer than a few hours for a response to email and texts were almost always returned immediately. She made recommendation that I had never even thought of. (Highly recommend the last dance idea) and was very honest with me when I had ideas that she felt would not compliment the day. In full transparency, I asked her recommendations on just about everything. I liked that she gave me the pros and cons of everything we discussed and respected my decisions. Most importantly, Christine was my biggest ADVOCATE when it came to working with vendors. What I found was that many vendors had conflicting ideas (all great, btw) of what our day should look like, but did not necessarily fall in line with what I was hoping for. Christine communicated on my behalf to make sure they knew what my dream day looked like AND made sure they listened. I am very type A and pride myself on being a planner. Christine take this to the next level. Literally, the entire day was planned down to the minute. Her experience really prevented any roadblocks. The day of our wedding there were a few minor hiccups, but I did not learn of them until after my honeymoon as they had been taken care of on my behalf. The team really take the time to get to know you and your preferences which is why they knew exactly how I would have wanted to handle any potential challenges. Basically, I want to plan a second wedding just to do it all again with Christine. She is a DREAM and you will be in great hands!

Christine truly made what would have been a hectic day, an absolute dream wedding (10.06.23)! Christine is truly like one of your friends. She's easy to talk to, straight forward, organized and VERY responsive. My mom was encouraging a wedding planner/coordinator throughout the entire wedding planning process because it was a destination wedding, and we starting to feel in over our heads. We had already planned basically all of the details of my wedding and booked most vendors, but if you've ever planned a wedding, you know how many vendors/details/conversations you're trying to keep track of all at once, never mind ensuring it all goes well day of. Especially if you're like me, and have never planned a wedding before and are the very first wedding in your family for over 20 years (oldest grandchild here)! Finally, my mom convinced me and offered to hire a professional to ensure all of our hard work and vision came to life. Even though we hired Christine for "day of" she did so much PRIOR to the wedding. Christine created our wedding timeline, answered questions, made recommendations, coordinated with all of our vendors to ensure timing and contracted services were accurate, and of course she was there by my side day of making sure everything around me was running smoothly so my husband and I could enjoy our wedding with all of our favorite people. She set up everything and packed up at the end of the night. She thought of a lot of things that I never even thought to ask or think of and I really don't know how the day would have turned out if we didn't have her. Guests are still talking about what an incredible wedding it was! If you are debating whether to book Christine or not, JUST DO IT! You will have an amazing wedding. Christine worked my wedding last weekend on 10/7 and I don’t know how we would have gotten through the day without her! She made sure the timeline was followed to a T and that everything we needed was in place before and after. She stayed up until the very end even making sure all of our valuables were secured in our vehicles for our send off. Most importantly she was very communicative and easy to get a hold of. I would highly recommend her as anyone’s wedding planner!

Although there are many reviews of Christine as a day of coordinator, I had the pleasure of hiring her a year out from my wedding for full service planning. Our first phone call she asked so many questions I had never even though of before, going to weddings you never realize how many little details go into the planning process. The WedAssist App helps to keep things all organized in one place which I loved. The day of the wedding there were so many things that went through my head and I would mention them and they were already taken care of by Christine. I truly enjoyed my wedding day without having to think about all the little details, set up and break down at the end of the night, it was such a blessing!

We somehow managed to get married on one of the windiest, coldest days in Florida, and when our photographers had to change our photo plan on a fly to accomodate the weather, we shot Christine a text to get the rest of the bridal party where we were -- and she did it! She covered countless other big and small, incredibly important logistics throughout the entire process, and if I could do anything differently, I would hire her for her full wedding planning services rather than just day-of coordination, because it would've given me so much more peace of mind earlier on!

Christine Olive was the day-of coordinator for my intimate wedding ceremony/reception (15 people). Prior to the event, she was very communicative with all of my vendors - after I booked them I didn't even have to talk to them until the day of the wedding, which took so much stress off of the planning process! She was so much more than a coordinator! Christine was ready to go with anything I needed on my wedding day (odds and ends and various other random requests). I was referred to Christine by a local vendor and knew after our first conversation that she was exactly what I was looking for. She is detailed, organized, prompt, responsive, resourceful, direct, and ON TOP of everything you wouldn’t even think of. She has multiple planning packages to choose from and is reasonably priced. We were contracted for partial planning services but Christine worked with me 6+ months before my wedding to ensure that things didn’t pile up last minute. She is very connected in the local wedding industry and had strong recommendations for vendors who are priced fairly and have talented portfolios. She helped me curate my dream wedding and wedding team who implemented a perfect day of timeline even when the weather decided to downpour on us! Christine, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Christine was amazing. We used her as a day of planner and she gave us the peace of mind we needed going into our wedding day! Christine is absolutely amazing. I won her wedding planning services through a giveaway she did for healthcare workers who’s wedding had been postponed due to COVID. The fact that she did this giveaway speaks volumes about her character. I don’t know what I would’ve done without her. She is incredibly thorough, attentive, organized, and passionate about what she does. My wedding day ran so smoothly thanks to Christine! She was so attentive to me throughout the day and she always knew what I needed even before I knew! She’s two steps ahead of everyone, which is exactly what a bride needs on their wedding day. My parents and husband made several comments about how amazing she was and how attentive she was to them as well. I am so incredibly grateful to have had her help! She is a fantastic, sweet person, such a pleasure to work with, and an amazing wedding planner.

Christine is an absolute professional, and literal superhero. She is extremely knowledgeable, kind, fun, and efficient. She went above and beyond the job description in order to make sure our big day was absolutely perfect. I didn't have a florist, so we bought grocery store bouquets thinking we could just tie some ribbon and make them look pretty. Not as easy as we thought! Without a moments hesitation, Christine jumped in and took over and made gorgeous bouquets tied with yellow ribbon, just as I imagined. She kept absolutely everything running on time, organized, safely, and smoothly the whole day. We literally could not have done it without her. It would've been impossible! Thank you Christine!!!!

I found Christine on the Knot, I read her reviews and gave her a call. Immediately, I knew I was going to love her. I didn’t have any vision at all for our wedding so she suggested we meet her at Sundy House. Once we were there we knew that was the place and I began to trust her for everything else. I took her advice on basically all vendors she recommended, everyone was amazing and spoke so highly of Christine. 11 days before our wedding we made the terrible decision to post pone the wedding due to COVID.. it was so incredibly upsetting but Christine made it all okay and we soldiered on another year. I am so thankful that I was able to finally have the wedding we had planned and envisioned a year later. It was not only worth the wait but gave me another year to be able to have Christine as my most amazing wedding planner. There is not a thing Christine does not think of or have ready to go. Your calmness and professionalism is beyond! I will miss you dearly but maybe we need to plan ANOTHER celebration just to keep you close!

Christine was the absolute best. Although my husband and I booked a wedding with an on-site event team, we knew it was a good idea for us to have the additional expertise of a day of planner. We chose the Coordinator package and were thrilled with the results. Christine made planning a South Florida wedding from NYC an absolute breeze and she really went above and beyond when it came to editing our photo list and creating the perfect wedding timeline. When my husband and I realized super last minute that we should videotape our ceremony because my grandpa was officiating, Christine offered to set up a tri-pod and do it herself. She also even helped with my dress when the bustle fell out. On top of her ability to handle whatever comes her way, Christine is incredibly sweet and bubbly—just what any couple needs on their wedding day. She worked seamlessly with the other vendors and we were thrilled with how everything was set up. Do yourself a favor and hire her now!

The Olives are truly amazing, super organized, kind and generous with their time, and prepared everything for our shower hassle-free. Everything was beautifully planned, and we left most of the decisions in their very capable hands. We are so glad we did! The event was beautiful, fit us to a tee, and everyone had a fantastic time. All the vendors chosen were absolutely perfect from the food to the beautiful cake. We could not have been more pleased! They even took thorough pictures for us of the event and decor, gave us pre-addressed thank you notes to send our guests afterwards, and made sure all decor was perfectly in theme, reasonably priced, and set up beautifully before the event. It was absolutely no stress whatsoever on our part and we couldn't have had a better experience! Christine is absolutely fantastic and I would love to work with her again. Beyond five stars in service quality.

You kept my busy butt organized, handled everything, and eased my nerves all day long. You ran, YOU ACTUALLY RAN, on my wedding day to ensure everything went smoothly. You were always there with some encouraging words and advice. And even when the most incredible day was said and done you were there to ease the post wedding blues! I worked with Christine Olive as the videographer for Kasey + Jessy's wedding at The Fontaineblue Miami. She was absolutely perfect!! Everything ran so smoothly. I was impressed! She was on top of every detail from taking the couple's puppy to the dance floor to cutting a loose thread on the groom's shirt. She was really easy to work with. I think it's important for potential clients to get feedback from other vendors as well. She cares about working as a team with everyone to create your dream day!!

Words cannot express how incredibly grateful I am to have had Christine as my wedding planner / life saver! She went above and beyond what was in her contract. She responded to every email so quickly (even late nights and while away with her family) I actually stopped replying to her a few times so that she could stop working ! She really guided me though this whole wedding planning world with her expertise and sweetest personality! Even the day of, I had nothing to worry about because I knew she was on top of everything! Christine was amazing! I used her twords the end of my wedding planning as a great organizer. I had booked 90% of my vendors & didn’t need someone on site with me the day of. She was great at tailoring a plan that fit perfectly for me & in my budget. I was able to spit ideas & timelines ideas with her & she gave me great feedback. On the days before I was able to email all my vendors & my wedding party the documents we had worked on together & everything went so smoothly.

We had a ton of questions about our venue, the Sundy House, and logistics during the planning process. Christine was always available to answer our questions and give recommendations to help us with the first dance, send off and back up locations in case it rained.
