When my husband and I got engaged the first vendor we looked for was a planner. We wanted someone who we could trust with our wants/needs, match us the vendors who matched our personality, and handled everything with care. And we got that with Kim! From the minute we had our first call to the very last moments of the wedding night Kim was right there with us making sure we were her top priority. There would be no way we would have had nearly half of the fantastic vendors we ended up hiring (photographer, venue, florist, etc.) without Kim and her guidance. Thank you Kim for making our day a dream and making the planning process a fun, engaging and seamless experience for us! P.S. Small tidbit, we knew Kim was the one when we went to our multiple venue tours and EVERY vendor, event planner, etc. knew who she was and was happy to see her!

The Olive & Rose Events team is unmatched. They are professional, detailed and most of all.. FUN. They are a down to earth team that helps you think of every last detail. They are easy to talk to, quick to respond and they make sure you have a stress-free day. We utilized their month-of package for our wedding celebration and worked with Kristy who is a true delight!

We started working with Kim and Susy at Olive & Rose in December for our July wedding, and could not be happier. Many people have told us that we had one of the best weddings that they'd been to, and while we'd love to take all of the credit, much of this is due to the O&R team. From the beginning, Kim let us know that she would be on maternity leave and that Susy would handle the initial planning duties before Kim returned a few months later, and we felt like we gained two friends during the process. Their transitions were seamless, and there was clearly a lot of behind-the-scenes work that they did in order to make it so. We appreciated that Kim and Susy never made us feel silly for asking 'obvious' questions, gave great guidance without imposing their views, and most importantly, helped us to maximize our optimize our spending by pointing out opportunities to save money as well as the best value-added upgrades. My whole family got to know the team through the planning process, and I loved that they made all of us feel comfortable asking pre-wedding questions and knowing that somebody was looking out for us during the actual wedding itself. We could not recommend Olive & Rose more highly.

For my one year Anniversary, I'm FINALLY getting around to reviews. Honestly, Kim is AMAZING and I should have done this a lot sooner. The wedding industry can feel a lot like "keeping up with the Joneses" but Kim never made me feel like that-- in fact she appreciated my point of view and helped me see that what I was doing was enough. She really eased my anxiety! I would have gotten completely lost sorting through lists of vendors, but she helped me pick out some really amazing people which resulted in an amazingly smooth day of! She handled everything so calm, cool, and collected. My family who interacted with her all loved her. She is the sweetest. If you are tempted at all to use a wedding planner -- DO IT! Kim and her team are excellent!

We hired Kim for full planning, and she was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond to execute the vision and the experience we hoped to have on our wedding day. The day went so smoothly for my husband and me (we stayed on schedule the entire day). I truly cannot thank Kim and her team enough!

I was on the fence about hiring a wedding coordinate, as the venue we chose had an in-house person who assisted with coordination, but I went with the Month Of Coordination packet and I'm so glad I did. Kristy and Kim were super helpful, responsive, and professional. Kristy and her team ran our rehearsal and were there on the day of the wedding to ensure that everything went perfectly. They are consummate professionals who know this industry so well. I would recommend Olive & Rose to any bride who is on the fence. It is well worth the money to enjoy your day hassle free and without having to worry about the details.

Kim was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day. I used her “Month of Coordination” services, and she went above and beyond. While I picked and booked all of my vendors, Kim was so incredibly helpful with providing me a list of vendors anytime I needed. Due to that, I was blessed with the perfect day and perfect team of people. I interviewed a few planners, but instantly felt comfortable with Kim. She made me feel like I was the only client she had throughout the whole process. I truly do not know how she does it. She is a MUST for your wedding. I didn’t have to worry about any vendor confirmations or coordination prior to the big day. The day of she made sure everything flowed perfectly. My goal was to have the least amount of questions presented to me on the day of my wedding and days leading up to it. Kim made that happen. Thank you so much! You made my day perfect!

I genuinely could not have survived wedding planning without Kim and I cannot sing her praises loud enough. She’s organized and detail oriented and so amazing. Don’t even think about whether or not you need a wedding planner because you do and it needs to be Olive & Rose.

She was super helpful with ideas and making our dream wedding vision come to life! Everything from our first meeting to right before walking down the aisle was seamless and made us feel so at ease. I hired Olive & Rose for month-of coordination for my August 2022 wedding, and I could not be more thankful that I did! I worked with Susy, and she started working with me about 6 weeks before my wedding, right as I was starting to burn out on wedding planning. She pulled together a meticulous timeline, contacted every vendor and finalized any last minute details that were stressing me out, and provided essential encouragement in those final weeks. Susy is an amazing, genuine, sweet, and talented coordinator, and I was so grateful to be able to work with her. Unfortunately she got sick the week of my wedding and was no longer able to work the day of, but she SEAMLESSLY passed the baton to Shelby, who was absolutely incredible and managed our wedding rehearsal and wedding day with absolute perfection. The whole experience made me so glad that I had hired a coordinator from such a professional, established company, because I didn't have a single concern when Susy got sick that I would be left in the dark. Shelby stepped in and knew exactly what I needed, and on the wedding day my whole bridal party was so impressed with her - they were shocked that we hadn't been working with her for my whole engagement! I highly recommend Olive & Rose - they are simply the best!!!

Couldn't have asked for a better wedding coordinator / team. Throughout the THREE years that I was in touch with Olive & Rose for wedding planning (delayed due to covid) they were always extremely professional, flexible, and willing to accommodate. We worked most closely with Susy of O&R and she was absolutely wonderful. For someone who already considers themselves organized, Susy was always there to handle the few things that were not even on our radar and/or essentially take over in the two weeks leading up to the wedding - I can't imagine having the time or mental capacity to have confirmed all the last min details without her. She was also eager to help with random details like procuring flowers for my hair from Trader Joes, figuring out how to get Aiellos pizza delivered late night, and recommending places to donate the food and florals after the wedding. Day-of she was right by my side making sure everything went off without a hitch, and thanks to Olive & Rose and our other great vendors, it did.

Olive & Rose Events are the best!! Our wedding day would not have been as magical as it was without Susy and her team. My husband and I were both in graduate school throughout the wedding planning process, so we knew we needed lots of help. We went with the full planning package and it was the best decision we could've made! We had our wedding at my family's cabin in Rockwood, PA. As a private venue, we had to bring in all of our vendors (including rentals). Susy helped us to find our wonderful vendors, kept them on track, made sure everything was to our liking, and made our dream a reality! The forecast didn't look great leading up to the wedding (our venue was primarily outdoors), so Susy came up with multiple rain plans just in case. She was so encouraging and truly went out of her way to make this the best day of our lives. Olive & Rose made sure that my family could fully enjoy the day and took care of all the details to keep things running smoothly. We have gotten so many compliments on our day, from the flowers, to the food, to my makeup, DJ, etc., and it is all thanks to Susy! She made everything possible and I cannot recommend Olive & Rose Events enough!!

I can't recommend the Olive & Rose team enough. We were married in August 2022 in Erie, PA and we were a little nervous when we kicked off planning since our space would require a room flip that the venue hadn't done before and a strolling reception. We talked to a few planners in the Pittsburgh area and as soon as we got off the phone with Kim we knew we were done searching! She knew the vibe we were going for immediately and made us feel really listened to right from the start. Kim is an incredible combination of thorough, knowledgeable, down to earth, and all-around good human. We were so delighted to get to know Susy during our wedding weekend as well – Kim and Susy were an incredible team and made sure that everything went seamlessly, and they were so sweet and fun with our families and guests. After the rehearsal pretty much everyone was like "I want to be friends with Kim and Susy" and we couldn't agree more :) Olive & Rose made everything such a joy. Even when we were thrown some curveballs with the venue and other things, Kim was always ready to problem solve and keep things positive. I can't say enough about their team and recommend them to literally everyone & anyone.

We hired Olive & Rose Events for month of coordination for our wedding in May and it absolutely was one of the best planning decisions we made! Kim was so helpful and communicative throughout the process and she and her team (Morgan & Margaret) were AMAZING the day of our wedding. They set up everything perfectly and even better than I had imagined. Every time something came up, Kim and her team were there to help. During our outdoor ceremony, it started pouring down rain and the Olive & Rose team came running out with umbrellas for the wedding party. Their execution was flawless and at the end of the night, they had all of our decorations, leftovers, and gifts completely packed up in our designated vehicles. We were not missing a single thing. If you are looking for month/day of coordination so that you and your loved ones can enjoy your big day without stress, you will not regret hiring Olive & Rose Events!!

Hiring Olive&Rose Events and Kim was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!!! We hired Kim as a month-of coordinator for our wedding, but she ended up helping us so much more than that. When our venue unexpectedly cancelled 9 months before our wedding, I reached out to Kim (even though technically she wouldn’t be helping us out for another 7 months), and she was there to help me! Not to mention, she was always there to help with vendor recommendations along the way. I don’t know what we would have done in the last two months without Kim! I sent her about a million different rambling emails, and she always responded to every one. She was there to make sure all of the little moving pieces were all in place, especially because I was a hectic, anxious mess! She ran our rehearsal and was there to do whatever we needed on the wedding day. She even texted me the night before to let me know she could pick up waters because it was supposed to be really hot for our wedding day. I felt so much calmer and was able to enjoy my wedding day knowing that everything was in good hands. I seriously cannot recommend Olive&Rose Events enough!!!

My husband and I used Olive & Rose Events for Day of Coordination, and some additional consulting time at the beginning of wedding planning. Susy was INCREDIBLE. She helped choose the bridesmaids dress colors, and assisted with selection of suits for the groomsmen - our color pallet was amazing! She also provided vendor recommendations for any vendors we had left to select, which was so so helpful. Leading up to wedding day, Susy went above and beyond. I can't imagine how much work went in to putting our timeline together. And I know that our big day would have been a bumpy one without the Olive & Rose team! Forever thankful for Susy and Olive & Rose events for helping build the wedding of our dreams!

I booked planning services with Kim pretty early into the planning process. From the start, she was extremely helpful with finding vendors and with figuring out exactly what my vision was. Though I truly enjoyed the planning process, it was definitely stressful at times and Kim helped to alleviate all my stress throughout the entire planning process. As we got closer to our wedding date, she kept us on track with all of the final details and communicated with all of our vendors to ensure everyone was on the same page. I had zero stress the weekend of our wedding because I knew Kim had everything taken care of. Our wedding day went so smoothly and everything was more beautiful than I could have imagined! I would recommend Kim and Olive & Rose to anyone looking for someone to help plan their special day!

When I reached out to Olive & Rose I had already locked in most of my primary vendors but was looking for someone to help me with logistics and their month of coordination was a perfect fit for me. Kim was so helpful in the weeks leading up to the wedding and then a cool calm force on the day of. While I was busy enjoying the day she and her team were running around making sure everything was perfect. Where do I even begin? First, I’ll just say choosing to work with Olive + Rose Events was hands down, THE BEST DECISION I MADE in my journey of wedding planning! When I first started to peruse the wedding vendors in January 2021, I reached out to the owner, Kim Allera. I was still figuring out a lot of main aspects, and wasn’t quite sure what I wanted, or if I even needed help. I already knew my ceremony site (Heinz Chapel) and reception site (Soldier and Sailors Memorial), so hard could it be? She was very helpful in breaking down the types of services her team could provide, and to get in touch at my convenience if I wanted to set up a consultation. Two months later, I finally admitted to myself that I truly could not even do this, even if I didn’t have a job in healthcare, and living 1,000 miles away in FL. And from that moment, wedding planning life became so much better! My full consultation was completed over telephone with Kim and my assigned coordinator, Susy Tveten. They had such enthusiasm and I could tell, even over the phone, that they enjoyed their work, and that this business wasn’t just a job, but a passion! Throughout the next several months, when I talked about Susy to friends and family, it wasn’t just “my wedding planner” but it was “My new friend Susy, who also happens to be my ANGEL wedding planner!” Susy was able to see my vision of a “comfortable, but classy wedding” and helped me through the milestones of the process. She understood the vibe I was looking for, and found additional elements to elevate the look, without sending my budget into the ground. If I had an idea, well ANY idea, Susy would compile all of the research. She provided several viable options, but ultimately she could predict which option I would likely be drawn to, or if I would just nix the thought all together. No request was too much for Susy! I could write more paragraphs singing Susy’s praises; from the welcome bags, to the invitations, to my funfetti cake request, to my crisis text messages (at suitable hours of course!), Susy was my miracle worker. She is an efficient, talented, hearting warming soul and professional to work with and I promise you will not be disappointed! And I’m happy to have found a new and amazing friend!

Can't say enough good things about Kim and Olive & Rose Events!! Kim was with us through the planning of not 1, but about 6 different wedding possibilities through the past two years of pandemic life. From start to finish Kim helped us with so many aspects of our special day. She found us a perfect wedding venue that we never would have even considered. She kept us organized and focused on needed steps and worked hard to be our advocate for all partners. In addition to the normal wedding stressors of vendors and parent dynamics, she was a consistent and calming presence throughout all the changing pandemic rules and chaos. But specifically day-of the wedding (2020) and reception (2021) she was everything I wanted. Calm, organized, made sure every detail was in order and made it so my family, who normally would have been handling these tasks, were able to just enjoy the day. She laughed at all my bad jokes and made me feel like I could call her with any questions at any time. Wow. Where do you even start with a team as amazing as Olive & Rose. Susy was our head planner, and I’m still convinced she may be an angel or some reincarnated version of your kindest, most helpful friend who always has the answer you need. The whole team was willing to do whatever it took to make sure our wedding was amazing. And, boy, was it. I had NO worries all day because I knew Susy was on it. Thank you to Olive & Rose. Kim, you have built a wonderful company and should be quite proud.

We booked Olive & Rose for our wedding reception and it was the best choice! Kim helped us to seamlessly postpone our reception, making sure all our vendors were on the same page with our new date. Prior to the reception, I had some trouble reaching two vendors about confirming rentals and Kim worked magic to get responses. She was incredibly organized and knew all of my details when we met. She also had great ideas to help me fill in some blank spots that I hadn't thought of. The day of the reception, our reception could not have happened without the Olive & Rose team. What might have been a very stressful morning was so easy because I knew I could trust Kim to take care of every detail and she absolutely delivered. Kim took my visions from paper and Pinterest and made them even better in real life. I highly highly recommend Olive & Rose!

If you need a wedding planner for your entire journey, or just the day of, like I did, look no further! I hired Olive & Rose Events because my best friend used them at her wedding and it was magical. She told me they are a MUST HAVE and to not wait long because they book fast! Well, I am SO FREAKING HAPPY I hired them because my wedding day/night was amazingly beautiful and it could not have happened without them. I had Mackenzie with me as my wedding coordinator and she helped with my final details leading up to the wedding and of course, was with me the entire day and night of my wedding as well to make sure everything ran smoothly. Mackenzie is the sweetest and is also extremely organized, professional, and calm. We had a few tough vendors that we were working with and she did not let me stress once throughout the process. Even at the very last moment, she was out grabbing more flowers and napkins for me and never missed a beat. Also, my venue included a room flip from ceremony to reception. Mackenzie made sure no detail was forgotten. I was truly amazed after coming back from taking photographs to see what she had done. I am so very grateful for Mackenzie and her team for working so hard to make sure my day was perfect. I honestly did not have to worry about a thing leading up to my wedding because I trusted that Olive & Rose Events was going to take care of it all. I cannot say enough good things about Olive & Rose! If you are a bride that really stresses about the details, then you have to choose Olive & Rose. I knew immediately after talking with them and looking at their Instagram that I had found the right team for me! Kimberly made payments easy and helped make our rehearsal run smoothly. Mackenzie answered my many many questions along the way and really helped give me peace of mind. I was a very diy bride and made many things myself, but I had no doubts that Mack understood my vision and would help bring it to life! Its safe to say that all thanks to Mack, I was completely stress free on the day of our wedding! Two last minute changes... 1. Two days before our wedding I found out that our hotel had to cancel due to air conditioning problems. Mackenzie answered my panicked phone call and helped me contact all of the vendors that needed to be contacted and made an updated timeline so I could still get the first look I wanted! 2. The day of our wedding... the forecast said rain, right at our ceremony time. Mackenzie called me, as I was getting my make up done, and talked me through the options I had for moving our ceremony inside. I had no worries that no matter where our ceremony was, she would help make it everything I dreamed of! Grateful does not even describe how I feel for having the Olive & Rose team as part of our special day!

We had Susy help with our August 2021 wedding, and she saved my sanity. I LOVE these ladies, and Susy was absolutely amazing. Literally, every time I realized I forgot something or needed something else done, I would message her to let her know, and she would respond with “already done!” or “on it!”. She was such a lifesaver throughout the entire wedding planning process. My only regret is that I didn’t hire her sooner!! 10/10 recommend these ladies!!

Working with Susy and Kim from Olive & Rose events was hands down one of the BEST decisions that we made during wedding planning. We brought the Olive & Rose team on pretty late during our planning process after realizing that we needed some additional and professional help (Hint: hire your planner or coordinator early!) Susy jumped right in, immediately started working to coordinate all of our last minute details with our vendor team, and made herself available for absolutely anything that we needed during the final few weeks leading up to our wedding. Not only was Susy professional, organized and attentive, but she also was an amazing human who kept me sane during the crazy last few weeks before the wedding. Our wedding day was 100% stress free thanks to Susy. I truly felt like I could be a "guest" at my own wedding, and just enjoy every moment, because no detail went overlooked. Susy 100% took my vision and worked with our vendors to make it a reality. She worked tirelessly the entire night to make sure that the day was even more perfect than we could have imagined- from decor, to organization and communication and also being in charge of the cookie table (with over 1000 cookies)- she did it all. If you are on the fence about hiring a coordinator (as I was) you will NOT regret bringing Olive & Rose events on as part of your team. My only regret is that we did not bring them on sooner. I worked with Kim as our day-of coordinator. She was so helpful with all the last minute and day-of tasks and always came with a positive attitude. There were a lot of moving parts in our wedding day planning and sometimes I felt like it just kept getting bigger and bigger, but if Kim felt that way, she never showed it. She had everything under control and I was shocked how well everything went - especially being right on schedule (which I was convinced would never happen). She even gracefully handled a rude family member at our rehearsal. It really was invaluable to have a calm, positive person handling everything while we focused on our guests. There is no way we could have done it without her (or Mackenzie, who came to help with breakdown and getting all personal items back to our room). Don’t fool yourself into thinking you don’t need a planner - everyone needs the day-of coordination at the minimum! And we’d absolutely recommend Kim and Mackenzie for your wedding!

From the very first day that we had started to plan our wedding up until the very end, Olive & Rose Events were amazing!! Kim was my "go to girl" for everything! She had helped me navigate throughout the entire planning process. Hiring Olive & Rose was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. If I could make 1 recommendation to any bride, it would be to hiring a wedding planner even if it is just for Day Of coordination. Olive & Rose is PHENOMENAL! I can't express my gratitude for all of the hard work and how impressed I was with not only the outcomes but also the entire wedding planning process. We were planning on a small wedding and wanted an intimate setting but neither of us really liked planning the small details nor decor. To help with this, we added 10 hours of wedding planning in addition to the Day Of wedding coordinator. Kim was absolutely fantastic! She was so warm and friendly yet extremely polished and professional. It was obvious she is well experienced with the wedding industry. We went against many traditions and Kim guided us on how to address our wants with our families expectations. Her creativity was helpful in designing a lounge area for our wedding since we had extra space (given our small wedding of 65 guests). Most importantly, Kim was an excellent communicator. We both worked full time and had limited availability to call during normal business hours so we mainly used email for planning and communication. Kim was quick and thorough with her responses. She also sent monthly check-in emails and follow-up on tasks to help keep us on schedule with planning. This was essential in minimizing our stress level. Even without the additional wedding planning support, Olive & Rose is amazing for Day Of coordination. We were lucky to have Kim available for this role as well, making it a very smooth transition. I was a bridesmaid for a few weddings so I knew the wedding day could start early with setting up the reception area, then the hours of wedding party prep, not to mention worrying about all of your vendors. We kept our decor simple so Kim and her team were able to set up without us being there, giving me more time to relax. When I say our wedding was flawless, I am not exaggerating. Not a single hiccup or issue the ENTIRE day. The week leading up to the wedding Kim made sure to triple-check coordination for every vendor. My only stressor for the wedding was the weather...and even the rain stopped an hour before our outdoor ceremony. The best part was the end of the night. Instead of having to worry about the presents, decor, etc, Kim and her team quietly coordinated breakdown while I was on the dance floor with my family and friends. It was wonderful! Honestly, our wedding was the best day of my life...we still talk it about it almost daily and it's been 3 weeks. We couldn't have had a more perfect day with Kim's help and the amazing Olive * Rose events. I strongly recommend Olive & Rose events for your special day!

Susy was our day-of wedding coordinator and she is one of the most kind and genuine people we've ever met. What differentiates her, and O&R by extension, is that she truly cares and we were not "just another couple" getting married. She and two O&R assistants made the day go perfectly from start to finish. Susy was in constant communication with us during the months leading up to the wedding. A specific example of how she went above and beyond was when she met with us IN PERSON with masks at our venue during the height of the pandemic. Additionally, Susy's ongoing input and the O&R timeline and tools made the planning process so much easier by helping us stay organized. On the day of our wedding, Susy and her team executed the decorations at the reception beautifully, making our vision a reality. I cannot thank Susy and Olive & Rose enough!

The one benefit of getting married in 2020 is that we get to work with them all over again for our big reception in 2021. We hired Kim as our day of coordinator prior to COVID. Our venue ended up cancelling our wedding and the reception had to be moved to our backyard. I needed ALL new vendors and my first call was Kim. She quickly went from day of coordinator to full wedding planner over night and helped me re-plan my entire wedding in 6 weeks. The event was absolutely perfect. Not a single detail was left undone. Right before Covid hit, I decided I wanted to explore the option of hiring a day of coordinator for my September wedding. Little did I know at the time, this would ultimately be the best wedding decision I made. My fiancé and I planned our dream wedding with 250 guests in downtown Pittsburgh. Obviously, that was completely out of the cards this year, but we knew we still wanted to get married and have a small intimate reception. When panic set in, Kim and Susy were there to offer advice, suggestions, and ultimately landed me a new venue with less than 3 months til the wedding date. I could not have gotten through the Covid crisis and planned a wedding without them. Susy was such an amazing energy to have present the days leading up to the wedding and on the actual wedding. She and Mackenzie were there to take and set up decor, drop my cake off, pick up flowers (and made a special trip to our hotel the morning of the wedding because I forgot something) just to name a few things they helped out with the day of, on top of making sure everything went smoothly. I tell everyone that hiring them was hands down the best decision I made, and I would pay a million times over again to have them there on my special day. I cannot thank them and sing their praises enough. If you are on the fence of about hiring a wedding planner, I promise you will absolutely not regret hiring Olive+Rose!

I got the privilege of working with both Kim and Suzy (thanks, COVID)? for our backyard wedding and they were SO awesome to work with. They knew EVERYONE on the wedding scene, and were just a blast to work with. I hated thinking about all the details and didn't know what I even wanted but Suzy and Kim did, and they worked with all the vendors to sort everything out and it turned out to be magical. I’m a (little bit of a) control freak and was convinced that we wouldn’t need a planner for our wedding. My then fiancé convinced me otherwise and we decided on Olive and Rose for Day of Coordination. Our original date of 4/18/20 had to be postponed due to COVID and our planned 250 guest celebration turned into a small gathering of 25 people. I’m happy to say that we finally were married in August 2020- but I honestly have no idea what I would have done without Kim, her attention to detail, and way of listening to our concerns. She heard all of our worries and fears, she was there every step of the way helping us reschedule, refocus, rethink our original plans. While it wasn’t the day we initially planned, she made it the day of our dreams. I truly feel that she went above and beyond not just to make sure that our vendors were coordinated and our day-of needs were being met. She was like a friend with us navigating a really scary time- we didn’t feel like we were alone trying to make the big difficult decisions. We look forward to using her services next year when we throw a reception and vow renewal- like the way we originally wanted our wedding to be. I can’t imagine anyone else being with us on that day to help us navigate all the details.

I found Olive and Rose Events on Burgh Brides website when I realized about halfway through the wedding planning process that I needed more help. I was planning the wedding across the country and we were doing a full weekend of events, so needless to say, I was feeling super overwhelmed. On my initial phone call with Kim, I felt like I was talking to a girlfriend I had known for ages. It was the easiest conversation and she was super understanding of what support I needed for the weekend. Flash forward several months and phone calls later and I would tell anyone who would listen that hiring Kim was the best vendor decision I made throughout the whole process. Not only did she provide great advice, but she was extremely organized, on top of EVERYTHING, and had a bubbly smile on her face the entire time. She had my back and kept me (and my mom) sane. Kim was amazing!! from start to finish she helped us plan our surprise wedding and coordinated our entire day! Our son was even sick and being a mom herself she helped with him throughout the day too! I will be singing the praises of Kim/Olive and Rose Events until I die. From the time we got engaged, I knew that my husband and I would benefit from the help and experience of a wedding planner, and Kim was recommended to us through a friend of a friend who worked with her. We had a phone call in which we explained our vision and what kind of services we were looking for, and from the beginning we both felt comfortable with Kim and her working style. We ended up booking her for Day Of Services + additional hours to help with some of the planning leading up to the wedding, which was perfect for us because we are a couple who wanted to be very hands on with some things (like print materials and decorations) and have guidance or assistance with others (gathering information from venues, booking the hotel block, etc). Kim executed all of this for us beautifully; she was with us from conceptualization and talking through our vision to attending our venue walk-through to creating a detailed timeline to running the rehearsal. There were a few minor hiccups leading up to and during the Big Day, but nothing that she couldn't/wouldn't/didn't handle for us. My husband and I looked at each other several times during the day and said, "Thank God for Kim". While we would have had a lovely wedding no matter what, having her there saved us a ton of stress. Do yourself a favor and hire Kim! Her services are worth every penny!

I hired Olive & Rose Events for my 1 September 2019 wedding to do day of coordinating and an additional 10 planning hours. Kim was smart, extremely responsive, professional, and most importantly just a joy to be around. I was planning my Pittsburgh wedding from New York City And had it at an historic site so there were additional challenges that Kim took on and solved. I decided to work with Kim because when I was shopping around, we had the best initial phone call. It was like talking to an old friend. She was cool with only meeting a handful of times before and doing much of our work over email—she was EXTREMELY responsive and I could tell she read my emails carefully, which I find notable since not everyone does when there are a lot of moving parts involved. Kim provided master planning worksheets which were so thorough that it saved me so much worry and hassle. I think it’s also worth noting that Kim gave me really good vendor recommendations and she maintains good relationships with other wedding professionals, which adds another level of comfort and ease. The day of, Kim kept everything moving and organized so that I could just show up when she said and enjoy my day. Also her assistant, Suzy, was as cool as can be and although I only met her the day of my wedding, she was a very warm and positive presence. I had a great, worry-free time at my wedding and although planning the wedding was a constant source of stress for me, any time I got to talk or meet with Kim I always felt better and back in control.

I hired Kim as a last minute “day of coordinator” for my wedding... I planned everything and it didn’t occur to me that I would have to still be organizing and planning throughout my wedding day!I booked her maybe 6-8 weeks out and loved her as soon as I met her... I immediately felt comfortable to speak my mind and tell her what I was looking for. Everything about our experience with Kim Allera was wonderful. I originally wanted a wedding coordinator as a median between my fiancé and I and to help with logistical things during the planning process and for day of coordination. But to be truthful, I got even more than that. Kim was not only my planner, but my confident, and therapist but she is now my friend. She came with me to every appointment from flowers, to linens, to dress fittings. She took control of contracts, helped with decorating decisions and made the entire wedding day seamless. Kim will call vendors for you, thinks about things you wouldn't, and will be on top of everything! She had our day of schedule planned down to the minute and kept us on time throughout the entire day. Kim and her team made our day flawless and ensured we didn’t have to worry about anything with vendor coordination, set up and clean up. She was always just a phone call, email or text away and extremely organized. From our first meeting at a coffee shop, to delivering our gifts and cards to our hotel room on wedding might, Kim put us at ease, and was calm, cheerful and professional and I already told Kim that she is helping with our future baby showers.
