Olive & Shae are a JOY to work with. Not only are you getting unmatched service and communication but the food is otherworldly and delicious. The food was the highlight of my wedding and mentioned to me by nearly every guest! If I could go back and plan my wedding all over again this is absolutely the 1 thing I would do AGAIN. They are a joy to work with and made everything easy breezy on my big day. Cannot recommend them enough.

Olive and Shae fell incredibly short on many catering parameters at our wedding, which we promptly brought to their attention. Not only did Chelsea leave her mother in charge the day of our event, she was grossly unprepared for the day and hardly interacted with us as our event captain. There were so many egregious errors that we brought to Chelsea's attention (hiring staff the morning of the event off of Facebook that ended up being rude to our guests, not having our sweetheart table set - we were the only ones without champagne in our glass for our toast, inexperienced bartenders who couldn't find extra supplies we paid for, substituting a dessert without our knowledge that the original was tied to a close family tradition, not honoring our requests on certain meal items that we clearly agreed on, and finally.... the food was FAR BELOW quality of our tasting), and we were met back with a refund for 2.5% of our total contract price. After crowdsourcing our experience with many in the business community through my Wharton alumni community, all of the caterers we spoke to believed we were offered subpar service and that a 2.5% refund was completely inadequate and insulting. We spoke up to Chelsea and were instead met by her hostility and attorneys who tried to strong arm us into signing a confidentiality agreement which would preclude us from speaking about our experience or leaving any reviews. We're not in a position where we need to take hush money, so we declined signing and never received any refund. We'll be speaking about this experience as loudly as possible. Working with Chelsea made the whole wedding process so easy. She shared great ideas and was always available to answer any questions along the way. The food for my wedding was absolutely amazing and the presentation was outstanding. It was a true culinary experience that Everyone raved over! in addition it all came out on time and the service was superior!
