BOOK OLIVE AND SHAE!!!! Chelsea is a ROCKSTAR! Her attention to detail, creativity and enthusiasm are unmatched! Olive and Shae catered out wedding in 2023 and they executed everyt...
hing flawlessly. The whole process was so special. Chelsea did a tasting with us at the venue which was so special. Not only did we sample our selections, she also recreated our first date by making us sliders and buying us beer from the same brewery!
Anything on the menu can be customized to fit your tastes/preferences. They're proud of their menu, but are happy to adjust to make you happy! (Which is no the case for all caterers).
My husband and I just bought our first house and I reached out to Chelsea to see if they did house warming parties! I was met again with enthusiasm which made me even more excited! The team showed up on time and got right to work. Everyone was friendly and professional and kind. When Chelsea arrived it was like seeing an old friend! She warmly greeted each of me and my husband and even my dad and my sister!
The food was delicious (at both parties)! The price is reasonable. And the experience is wonderful!
It's the little things - we provided our own dessert for the house warming and the staff set it up for us. I had board games out and they unboxed and set up the Jenga. She came up to me at the party and asked me if I had been eating - SO THOUGHTFUL! Amazing from start to finish! They packed up all the leftovers and placed them in my fridge. They cleaned up leaving no evidence they had even been there. It was AMAZING. I'm so glad I hired them and didn't try to do the food myself. It took so much pressure of off me. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

ng and mentioned to me by nearly every guest! If I could go back and plan my wedding all over again this is absolutely the 1 thing I would do AGAIN. They are a joy to work with and made everything easy breezy on my big day. Cannot recommend them enough.
Olive and Shae fell incredibly short on many catering parameters at our wedding, which we promptly brought to their attention. Not only did Chelsea leave her mother in charge the d...
ay of our event, she was grossly unprepared for the day and hardly interacted with us as our event captain. There were so many egregious errors that we brought to Chelsea's attention (hiring staff the morning of the event off of Facebook that ended up being rude to our guests, not having our sweetheart table set - we were the only ones without champagne in our glass for our toast, inexperienced bartenders who couldn't find extra supplies we paid for, substituting a dessert without our knowledge that the original was tied to a close family tradition, not honoring our requests on certain meal items that we clearly agreed on, and finally.... the food was FAR BELOW quality of our tasting), and we were met back with a refund for 2.5% of our total contract price. After crowdsourcing our experience with many in the business community through my Wharton alumni community, all of the caterers we spoke to believed we were offered subpar service and that a 2.5% refund was completely inadequate and insulting. We spoke up to Chelsea and were instead met by her hostility and attorneys who tried to strong arm us into signing a confidentiality agreement which would preclude us from speaking about our experience or leaving any reviews. We're not in a position where we need to take hush money, so we declined signing and never received any refund. We'll be speaking about this experience as loudly as possible. Contact me if you want to see the emails with all of our documentation we provided Olive and Shae and if you think it will help you make a decision and I'll gladly forward you all of this information.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Chelsea, Jordan and the entire Olive & Shae team. They were one of the catering teams that works with our venue Johnson's Locust Hall...
Farm and their farm to table style dishes and Chelsea's positive attitude made choosing them a no brainer for me and my husband to work with them. Chelsea and Jordan made the entire wedding planning process an absolute breeze, helping at each step of the way with decisions and keeping us on track. They were so organized and made us feel so cared for and at ease on our big day! The food was honestly spectacular, and our guests were raving about it!!
