Olympia Hills Golf Course and Event Center

Had my wedding here back in Dec of 2022, have nothing but great things to say from start to finish. Mallory and Katie went above and beyond with getting us setup with their preferred vendors and making the day great. Highly recommend this venue's food as well, the catering was in house so that took a lot of stress off of me and wife. The golf course has tons of great photo spots, I would recommend doing like I did and having a wedding there during the week with minimal golfer traffic.

We couldnt have picked a better venue for our Wedding. The wonderful Mallory ( event coordinator) just has it all. She knows how to make you feel comfortable and confident the entire planning process, and she definitely knows how to pull together all your hopes and dreams. The food was delicious and greatly portioned. The bar, no matter what option, let me tell you, those girls know how to make a drink. Beautiful views! I got to do a GRAND fairytale entrance down the stairs and it was more than my heart could have ever desired. &Definitely worth the price i’d say. We plan to go back for our 1 year anniversary and take it all in AGAIN! I have absolutely nothing but greatness to say about Olympia Hills and their team, especially Mallory. She really pulled all my ideas together and made it seem effortless.

One stop shop! Olympia Hills Golf Club had everything I needed for an amazing day! My wedding was May 28th, skies were blue not a cloud in the sky, was great and it was a beautiful day! But it was HOT. If you do an outdoor event before the sun goes down be sure to bring an umbrella. That sun can be brutal. Anywho Katy and Mallory are coordinators extraordinaire. I’ve never been married or planned a wedding before and although it showed, these ladies made me feel comfortable asking questions and making decisions. They also took my requests and made them work. They were also very flexible for appointments. Decor: they will provide some decor for tables and you are welcome to decline using them or you can spruce them up. I decided the latter. Food: plenty of items to choose from. When we did the tasting I will say the food was good. We actually looked forward to it and knew the guest would enjoy it. However on the day of I only ate my salad. The food was salty to me and the meatballs for the appetizers were huge and tasteless compared to what we tested. Our guests didn’t give negative or positive reviews so, no fuss here. The staff that did the serving was so nice and accommodating. I absolutely appreciated each one of them. Bar: Wonderful! Kudos to the bar staff they were super cool and made the drinks well. Grounds: outside was gorgeous for pics. We even had a few deer visit. There were many tiny bugs loving the white dress. I rushed through several of my pics because I was super annoyed. But I will say it was a relief they weren’t biting bugs and it was only under the low hanging trees. The venue does spray ahead of the event. Choosing this venue was one of the best decisions I made. Even after our Pastor passed, out the staff was able to regroup and get everything flowing again. We planned on an intimate ceremony and were fortunate enough to come across Olympia Hills. We had fears that with our smaller budget / guest list, we'd see limited service from our venue. I am thrilled to report we couldn't have been more wrong. Katie (who I have dubbed 'Kay-ten' because she's absolutely perfect in her role) and Mallory (nickname TBD because she's equally as perfect) along with the rest of the staff at O.H. were nothing short of incredible. They were constantly communicative and took unexpected changes on our end with grace and made us feel so comfortable and ready to enjoy our big day. They assisted with all of the details and helped us coordinate with ease. The venue also has a small getting ready room (I had three bridesmaids and my mom in the room with me getting ready and found it to be perfect; Larger bridal parties might want to consider an alternate space but at the very least it's a safe space to keep your items in during the ceremony/reception i.e. change of shoes, touch up lipstick, etc.) We also opted for 'getting ready mimosas' which was great to have planned / one less thing to think about for the big day. Plenty of fruit and juices were provided along with the champagne. I do want to mention that the food was somehow better during our reception than it was at the tasting - it is almost always the other way around. Kudos to Chef and her crew - our guests raved about dinner along with everything else at O.H. We couldn't have picked a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding and urge anyone considering this venue to go for it. The amazing staff and option for incredible sunset pictures alone is reason enough. The existing arbor makes for the perfect ceremony backdrop but there is an option to hold the ceremony inside if needed. We were given the option to have our bridal party come in on golf carts which was so fun and perfectly fit into the backdrop that was the 9th hole just past the arbor. Also, the deer roaming around the property made it that much more romantic. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about this venue and were fortunate enough that they perfectly executed everything on our special day. I have next to 0 wedding planning experience, but Mallory and Katie made everything so easy for me and my husband. Everything was in place, everything stayed on schedule, and everyone was taken care of. This venue has packages for a ceremony, reception, and catering all together, so that was less work and running around for us. Thank you so much!

Katie and Malory made our Wedding more than what we could have imagined. We had a micro wedding with 32 guest. It rained the day of our wedding and they set up the ceremony inside without missing a beat. We started on time and our guest had the best time. Exceptional service, food, bar and decor!!! Great price and flexibly with planning was awesome!!! Highly recommend for your next event!!! Zero stress for this bride, I actually enjoyed my wedding planning and event.

Choosing Olympia Hills as the location for my wedding was the best decision I made for my wedding! They did the set up/tear down, catering, and decorating. Basically all I had to do was to attend to the minor details and get myself there. The staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful. I can not recommend them enough. :)

Everything and more than we could have imagined. Great location and beautiful grounds. So many picture spots. We are so happy and satisfied with the outcome. Mallory and Katie are a dream to work with. Very professional, accommodating, helpful, flexible, and friendly. They really made the process so fun and stress free. Food and bar was excellent. The golf carts were a hit with the wedding party and guests.

We recently had our wedding at Olympia Hills and I cannot say enough kind words. The staff, especially Katie and Mallory, were truly outstanding. They made planning a wedding from another state so easy and worked with our parents super well too. Most people get so stressed on their wedding day and I wasn’t in large part due to the staff and how attentive they were. Our wedding was beautiful and we are very grateful that we chose this venue.

I cannot express enough how perfect my wedding was all thanks to Katie and her team. I didn't have to worry about a thing. I walked into my reception and I wanted to cry because it was even more beautiful then I could have ever imagined. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to have a large event.

Recently had my wedding at olmpia hills and they are amazing !!! They helped me through the process of planning !! Always responded in a timely matter. The food is amazing was serviced hot!!! Hats off to the chef !!! Jenna and Katie the coordinator were awesome they kept me calm and reassured me of everything !!!! Thank you !!!!

If I could give more than 5 stars to Katie and her crew, I would. From day one the communication between Olympia Hills and I was fantastic. They were so flexible and reassuring throughout the whole process and displayed everything just how I envisioned it would be.

I Loved the look of this Venue. It was intimate and beautiful. The ceremony site was so bright with green. The Ballroom was well passed my expectations. Everything just came together perfectly. The coordinator helped so much with set up and did not disappoint. Everything I asked for I got. I was nervous about what I was suppose to do for the ceremony, but she took full control and helped guide everyone where there were suppose to be. Because of the coordinator I did not have any wedding day worries. The issues I had was that the caters were not being professional at all. Running around, back and forth from the kitchen to the bar flirting with the officers, and pouring ice down their back. My guest certainly did not like that. Also at the end of the night when food was suppose to be boxed up, I was told it would be for my husband and I to take home, but the caters gave it all away to people as they were leaving. We did not really take the time to eat at the wedding, so my husband was very disappointed that there was nothing left for him to take. Another thing, My husband and I were the last to leave so we saw everything that was there. We had 4 glass candy jars.. all were about half full at the end of the night, but the next day when we picked up our things the candy jars were completely empty. And our things were NOT locked away in the bridal room like we were told. everything was left in the waiting area on a bar. The venue was beautiful, but the caters could have been more professional. Other than a few flaws in the service we had a great time with our friends and family.

We recently had our wedding of approx. 130 guests at Olympia Hills Golf Course. The reception room was done beautifully. The rate for both the ceremony and reception was within our budget. What really made Olympia Hills great was the wedding coordinator, Katie. She was always helping me with different ideas throughout the wedding process and completely set up everything the day of the wedding just as we had requested. She also made sure the event was our day and did not try and put her spin on how we should do things. The golf course was beautiful for both the ceremony and pictures. We loved having our wedding at Olympia Hills and would highly recommend it to our friends who want a smaller type venue (think under 200 guests).

My husband and I love this venue! They went above and beyond to make the reception amazing. All night long guests kept raving about the food, venue, and decor. We highly recommend this venue for any event!

I absolutely loved working with everyone at Olympia Hills. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right for our special day. The room is gorgeous, the food was amazing and it is just the right size to make it personal but still have space to enjoy dancing and mingling. Everything was perfect for our wedding and we know it was part of the hard work the entire staff put in and did for us. They helped to put my mind at ease to helped to make sure my parents were able to enjoy the reception and not have to worry about the stresses that can occur. I would do another big even there if I ever have one in the future - a beautiful place to have your wedding or reception and a great and wonderful staff to work with!

My cousin had her wedding reception here last year and it was very nice. When it was time to plan my own wedding, I decided on this venue. They did some remodeling that made it look a little more elegant. The director of food and beverages is the person in charge of booking all events. He seemed very eager to make everything as perfect as possible. There were a lot of things he promised to do, but failed to follow through. He wants to make this a full time venue for weddings and told us he wanted to put add some extra time into out wedding instead of putting money into advertising. He wanted the wedding to speak for itself as advertisement. He offered to set up all of our centerpieces, but we ended up doing that ourselves the night of the rehearsal. He also was supposed to change the linen of the sweetheart table by the morning of the wedding. He didn't. All the linen was wrinkled. The place settings were incomplete. My mother and the bartender finished the table settings the morning of the wedding. They were supposed to supply champagne glasses for the toast. They refused to give us glasses to use for the toast because it was not in the contract. My mother went out to buy some. The director didn't even show up until about 3 hours before the wedding. My mother gave a piece of her mind to him when he showed up. He was Mr Helpful then. In my opinion, it was a little too late. Most of the work was already done. I would advise making sure anything he says gets put into the contract. The food was great. The buffet service and the servers did an excellent job. They cut our cake and served it. They offered to box up our cake. I don't know if this is typical for other venues, but they put the leftover cake in to an empty box they found that used to have liquor bottles. In my opinion, if they want to be a full time wedding venue, they should have specialty boxes for that kind of thing. Overall, the wedding was very nice and turned out great. I didn't have a wedding planner and did the planning myself. If I could go back in time, maybe I would have paid for one to make sure these things were done.

On a golf course so the landscape is always well kept. Private.;It is a pretty plain room so decorations are a must!
