The event space is stunning and the Omaha Event Group allows couples to craft/set up the space however they wish. We would recommend the Design Center to any excited couples preparing for their special day.

t we could all fit, but we worked with the staff to make the place feel intimate. We were able to use the area outside of the Garden Room (both inside and outside) for cocktail hour, we used the Omaha Design Center main room for dinner and toasts, and then we opened up the Garden room for dancing and desserts. The space was multifaceted and perfect for our needs! Katie Ticknor helped us with the planning and was a huge help to us! Her eye for the details and extra care for us the day of the wedding made for a smooth and lovely day.

We spent years making this celebration happen due to the pandemic, and are incredibly grateful for the care and support Dallas, Dave, Nick, and the rest of the ODC team gave us every step of the way + especially throughout the weekend of our big day. The Omaha Event Group and Omaha Design Center have a special place in our hearts. We 100% recommend!

We loved utilizing multiple spaces in the venue for our cocktail hour, dinner and reception, and after party. The Garden Room and main ballrooms are configurable with chic seating, grass walls for photo ops, and spacious full-service bars. We comfortably hosted 250 guests who had the time of their lives!

ke our day beautiful. Dallas the event coordinator is great to have by your side. She answered every question we had and was willing to help in any way. The only issue we had on the wedding day was the bartending staff otherwise the day was perfect. Would recommend to future brides!

n the reception was in another. They made planning so easy and helped you with every question. They also helped with everything the day of. I loved being able to have Tim as my coordinator. Tim was amazing and fun. He made my day even more special and my guests absolutely loved him too!

s food. We got so many compliments on the Venue and it was sooo easy to have everything in one place and be the only people there. The Rooftop photos were so fun too! I would definitely recommend The Omaha Design Center. The only thing we had an issue with was the bartenders not following instructions as to when to open and not to serve shots, hopefully they are getting that straightened out internally though.

o respond to emails and phone calls. On the day of the wedding, Katie was there and was extremely attentive. She was always making sure there was nothing I needed. The space was fantastic. We only had 120 guests but we were still able to fill the space. The decor was great and made for great photo ops. We were even able to go on the roof for sunset photos. The only thing that was a slight negative was the bride/groom suites were extremely warm. They did have fans in there for us to use, but it was hot. Overall great experience, and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a modern event venue!

set up all the chairs and stage for the actual wedding ceremony with white curtains that surrounded the area with great lights for decoration! They set up all the tables and stage for the reception and worked with both families the night before and day of to make it perfect for the bride and groom. Not only was the venue gorgeous but the staff definitely made it a great experience. Many of them worked the 14 hours that we were there the day of to make sure that everything went off without a hitch. Robert and Azelia were two of the people who we dealt with most, they helped with all aspects of getting the venue ready for us and also made sure we were all comfortable. I can’t say enough about this venue and the staff involved but they definitely made a night for my family that we will never forget! Thanks Omaha Design Center!

nately, their event manager was virtually impossible to get ahold of and would sometimes take several weeks to respond to a simple question. It was very difficult having one phone number and one email to one person to be in contact with all that is ODC. We had a lot of questions up in the air as we reached close to the date. She was very sweet and wanted to be helpful, however it seems she is overloaded with customers and requests. It would have been nice to have another contact for easy questions to help the event manager prioritize or get simple issues resolved easily. We felt that several of our requests were not noted or heeded to as we reached the day we could set up and therefore had to go with the flow at that point. While the event manager was very kind and did answer our questions once we got ahold of her, we did not receive much help or offer to fix something when it was not as we had planned. It was very helpful once we gained the contact of Robert Mota. He was exceptional in making sure our event was what we had envisioned and had quick turn around when we had any issues or had things left at the venue after the wedding. We appreciated being able to consistently get ahold of him and his immediate need to make sure any issues were solved and fixed to the best of his ability in such a short time frame. While it was stressful not being able to easily get ahold of the venue, the space truly is beautiful and we had several compliments from our guests and vendors that the venue was gorgeous, spacious, and provided for a wonderful evening. We would recommend the ODC as a reception venue, however, I urge management to come up with a solution to be able to return calls and emails in a more reasonable timeline.
