We had such a wonderful night. Very happy we chose the Marriott as a venue.
Had to give a review to this wonderful facility and wedding planner. Rachel was so helpful and took great care of us. She paid attention to all the little details and made our 56th Wedding Renewal Celebration more than what we dreamed of!
The planner is the best of the best! We had a our hands tied when our photographer got the flu 6 hours before our wedding. I called Rachael crying, she then contacted several trusted photographers, and had a new one at our wedding reception 2 hours later. We loved our venue, but we loved our wedding planner more!!!!!

Wonderful location and kind staff. We brought in outside catering for my bride, and had the perfect wedding reception. Great staff and beautiful property! I am recommending this Hotel to all my temple friends.!
I was told almost a year ago that the honeymoon suite was reserved for me come to find out they gave it to another wedding party. What horrible service this is. I was also told a hospitality suite was free with the package and then because I couldn't remember the name of the person who told me that I had to pay. In addition to my experience this same situation happened to a friend! We left and enjoyed our night at the magnolia instead and I give them our upmost gratitude for service!!! Don't let this hotel ruin your wedding day!
The staff at the hotel was great. We had ou wedding party there a few nights prior to the wedding and they went above and beyond to make our stay as good as possible. The venue is beautiful, especially since the inside of the hotel is all redone in the last two years or so. The wedding coordinator runs a tight ship, everything was organized and well. THe only complaint is that we couldn't get into the ballroom to decorate until noon the day of because there was a wedding there the night before
No coordination between sales and hospitality staff.

I started off working with Kate at the Marriott, she was awesome to work it, she was able to help us customize a wedding package so we could get some of the perks that came with the other packages. However Kate left the Marriott and Amy took her place, Amy was great to work with as well, she always responded to my e-mails in a reasonable amount of time. We did have a few issues with the Shuttle services, so that was a little frustrating for our guest as well as us. CJ was the greatest bar tender of all times, our guests loved her. The Ballroom was booked the morning of our wedding but Amy made sure it was ready when it needed to be, I brought in my own overlays and centerpieces and the staff gladly put them on for me as well as picked them up for me at the end of the night. A few of my guests arrived late after the dinner time but the banquet staff were more than happy to make sure my guest had a dinner plate. That made a difference.
Excellent service, food, etc
The Omaha Marriott did a fabulous job making our wedding reception everything we dreamed it would be! Kate Parsons is the wedding coordinator and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We received several compliments from our guests on how great the hotel is, how good the food was and how beautiful everything looked.
We had both our ceremony and reception in the Grand Ballroom at the Regency Marriott. Started out with their wedding coordinator Kate Parsons who went on medical leave in December, she was excellent to work with and very accommodating. Maggie Kotlarz and Kristen Grieb stepped up in her absence to help us through to the big day. They did an AMAZING job! Everything was perfect and we were SUPER happy! They were very accommodating and tried to give us everything we wanted. They even helped my MOH fix all the little problems that went wrong so that I didn’t even know about many of them until the next day.
The wait staff, banquet captain, bartenders, front desk personnel, everyone we dealt with was so professional and just plain Nebraska friendly. It was so refreshing to be treated with top-notch customer service.
Chef Michael is wonderful, the food was soooo good! We had prime rib, garlic mashed potatoes, broccoli, chicken parmesan, and a pasta bar with penne marinara, fettuccini alfredo, and macaroni and cheese. The kids had chicken fingers, fries, fruit cup and milk. We also had a late-night snack of pizza. Everyone RAVED about the food, and they were kind enough to box up some of everything and bring it up to our room after we had left the reception. Which was nice because we only got a few bites of everything before we had to start mingling.
Was an absolutely wonderful venue for our wedding!! The staff was wondeful, the room was beautiful, and the food was delicious!!! I would very highly recommend them!!
My wedding reception is not until May 7, 2011, but the Omaha Marriott is a wonderful place to book a reception. The reception cordinator, Kate Parsons, has been very helpful with the arrangement of the ballroom, the menu, and even with outside vendors. She was kind enough to give me multiple names of local florists and bakeries. Not only is the Marriott's customer service excellent, the space itself is great! The Marriott also threw in some wonderful discounts that helped my fiance and I save thousands! I would recommend this hotel to any bride-to-be.
