I had a small wedding of 30 guests on 6/1/24. My ceremony was at the ocean view terrace, cocktail hour was on the terrace of the sunrise cafe and the reception was inside the sunrise cafe. Miranda and all of the Omni staff were so good to us! Miranda was prompt with responding to all of my questions and emails. She also gave great recommendations. I had the most perfect weather and wedding day! Beautiful views. Delicious food and drinks. They even give the newlyweds a free night in one of the end suites!
The sales and catering staff did an excellent job with our wedding and room block. When bad weather was going to affect our beach wedding, they quickly implemented a plan B option, that turned out to be even better.
Miranda and the entire Omni staff were a DELIGHT to work with and were beyond professional and made my wedding day a dream! Their service and food are top notch. Not a single complaint for the whole wedding day!
Any questions?
3,500 characters are not enough to express just how much my husband and I enjoyed our wedding at the Omni Resort in Amelia Island. First and foremost the lead up to the event was seamless with the help of Miranda, every question, concern, or random thought was answered promptly and with great detail - making me feel at ease throughout my entire wedding experience. Now - for the logistics of the event, almost everything was covered by the Omni, the catering was phenomenal and matches the cuisine you'd find at an upscale restaurant - we weren't given bland options, but dishes with true flavor, fusion of different styles of cooking - let's just say our guest raved about not only their meals, but getting lamb lollipops and lobster rolls during cocktail hour. Now - the element that made me 100% locked in on the omni was Walker's Landing. The covered forrest, filled with Spanish moss, made the ceremony truly feel like something out of a romance novel. Then the cocktail hour timed perfectly to hit the sunset not only made for the most gorgeous couple photos overlooking the marshes, but the guests had the most amazing time enjoying the scenery, taking their own photos, and feeling golden hour in it's truest form. The reception space was also magical, I was adamant on having a unique space and this venue hit it - uplighting, wood floors, wood paneling, and high arched ceilings for a beautiful greenery installation. A bonus on top of everything, the hotel itself was so luxe for our guests - every room had an ocean view, so many on property shops and restaurants, a golf course and spa our guests loved - and so much more. BIG bonus, transportation to and from walker's landing was covered and managed by the resort - my husband and I could just relax knowing our wedding guests were in good hands.
Walker's Landing & Omni: Perfect Pair
We had our wedding in November at Walker's Landing, a venue managed by Omni Amelia Island Resort for weddings and events. I am so incredibly happy we chose this spot!
Walker's Landing is an amazing wedding venue. It's unique, and so pretty. The outdoor ceremony in the wooded cove was exactly what we envisioned. The main building for the reception, dinner and dancing is upscale but welcoming and fun. It's positioned right by the marsh and you get an amazing sunset if you do the evening. Our guests absolutely loved the venue itself and the photos they got during cocktails and sunset! And the Omni is amazing to work with. Miranda is the absolute best! so knowledgeable, patient, creative, and organized. I couldn't have asked for more from a partner in planning. And she went above and beyond, staying longer with us that night and balancing multiple other events she had on site, to make sure everything was perfect for our event. The food was fantastic - our guests are still raving about their meals. And our wedding was all out of towners, so they stayed at the resort and had a great time. Our wedding was on a Friday, which i highly recommend these days - guests loved it, and we loved the fact that it took some pressure off of the wedding itself because we could see everyone more the next day! The resort having so many other restaurants and activities made it the perfect destination wedding location. I can't recommend Walker's Landing, Omni and Miranda enough to work with on your Amelia Island wedding!
My wedding at the Omni was the absolute dream! Courtney and Miranda made all my wedding dreams come true. Our guests LOVED the food, the ambiance, the paths, the pools, the overall experience of the hotel, they all want to come back! Miranda helped us with a last minute location change of our ceremony and I will be forever grateful for her. We plan to come back for our anniversary and experience it again all for ourselves! Can't recommend getting married at the Omni enough! 5* experience!
Juliana and her team were amazing! My husbands father owns hotels and so impressing my husband is tough! But Juliana and her team definitely did.
We also have a very specific diet (gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free and no red meat) and the hotel was able to make variations of the usual menu to accommodate our needs. We specifically got compliments on the brined chicken and the blueberry-lemon cake (GF) was a huge hit!
While not a cheap place to get married, it was much more affordable than the Ritz, and I feel we received the same 5-star service as we would have at the Ritz!
Miranda Wallace and the team at the Omni were excellent. We had our wedding there on Friday. Everything was excellent. The food was awesome, the detail, and the event itself. We will be going back to the Omni every year for our anniversary with the fondest of memories
Tldr: the ENTIRE staff is PHENOMENAL, get Brooke from Flaire Weddings as your day of coordinator, and if you plan your wedding in an off season and DIY your decor & floral you will save a lot of $$
Courtney and Miranda were everything I could have asked for in wedding prep and MORE. I am so thankful that my brother, who used to work at the Omni, so strongly recommended this to me. My wedding day was PERFECTION, and that is truly no exaggeration. During wedding prep, I was diagnosed with POTS and the thought of cancelling my wedding crossed my mind many times. But Miranda and Courtney were so incredibly understanding and accommodating, I only had one bad POTS flare up the whole night because of how well the Omni followed my care plan all day. I'm tearing up thinking about it right now because Kylie 6 months ago would have never thought that was possible. If they can give me my perfect wedding despite my disability, they can give you your dream wedding too!
The entire staff was amazing, all of the waitstaff, bartenders, and managers at the venue made a point to make relationships with us and the guests. They were so incredibly kind, and even got excited for and invested in us! During the cake cutting, the whole kitchen came out to watch and cheer; they obviously care so much about the people they serve and went above and beyond for us. So many of our guests said that our wedding was the best they have ever been to. We can take a lil credit for having a cool Zelda theme...but the Omni did most of the work lol. We can't thank them enough!
A few tips: They require a day of coordinator, you HAVE to get with Flaire Weddings. Brooke is AMAZING, she was the top MVP of my wedding experience with the Omni. You may think that the Omni is way out of your price range, we did too, but if you book off-season and diy a lot of decor, floral, it can get a lot closer to budget. Good luck!
I could never thank Courtney and Miranda enough for their work on our wedding. They truly made our day spectacular! Since we are out of state, everything was basically completed over email/phone. I could not thank these ladies enough for the work they put in before and the day of the wedding. Every one of our guests loved the Omni staff and the venue. It truly felt magical getting married here. Miranda- thank you for your hard work with the venue and helping pull all the loose ends together in the end, you made our day unforgettable! Thank you from both of us.
My wildest wedding dreams came true at Omni Amelia Island! I always wanted to get married on a beach and was lucky this was still allowed at the time of my wedding (I do not think they offer beach ceremonies anymore). It did rain all morning, but the clouds parted and the sun came out for the ceremony and we witnessed the most stunning sunset for the reception at Walker's Landing. Omni Amelia's team blew it out of the water - Courtney and Miranda in sales/CS are outstanding to say the least. I received so many compliments on the food as well! 10 out of 10 - recommend to any brides out there

We had our wedding at the chapel but used the Omni for our guests stays and it was nothing short of magical.
From the staff, to the rooms, to the multiple pools and fun atmosphere it was 10/10.
We worked with Miranda Fick so if you go with the Omni please ask for her
We are still on cloud nine from our amazing wedding at the Omni Amelia Island Resort. The staff at the Omni made our stay and special day an incredible experience! We so appreciated all the help, hard work, and quick responses from Courtney and Miranda that made our celebration so seamless and enjoyable for us and our guests. Everything was beautiful and executed perfectly - Walker's Landing truly felt like a private oasis, and we will never forget how gorgeous it was there. All of the waiters and bartenders at the wedding were so kind and provided such great service - we felt so cared for the whole time! Everyone raved about the resort and how delicious the food was at the wedding. The only thing that could be improved upon is the room block process - with better communication around when the block was full and what options guests still had to stay at the resort.
We used the Omni Amelia Island Resort for our guest room block during our recent August wedding. We reserved a mix of the hotel rooms and 2 and 3 bedroom villas for our guests to choose from. Erika from sales was extremely responsive to my questions regarding the contract and kindly sent me updated rooming lists leading up to the wedding. It was easy to add more rooms based on the rsvp's we were receiving and everyone who wanted to stay at the Omni was able to get their preferred room. We even reserved a suite for the girls to get ready which could not have been more perfect. It was really fun having all of our guests stay in the same location - running into each other at the pool, lobby, breakfast, etc. Everyone commented on how convenient the shuttles were throughout the resort and the Par 3 Little Sandy Course was a big hit! Thank you Omni AI!
My sister recently got married at Omni Amelia Island's ceremony/reception area Walker's Landing. As Maid of Honor/wedding planner, I was included on most the planning communications with Juliana, the Omni wedding planner. Juliana is incredibly knowledgable, organized and responsive. The staff at the venue were personable and incredibly attentive. The setting, well that speaks for itself. Highly recommend this venue and planner. The day was perfect!
From the get go Courtney and Miranda were an incredible duo who were extremely attentive and helped us pull off our dream wedding at The Omni Amelia Island! Not only was the venue beautiful, they also helped us make sure we had everything needed the week of and also helped us to organize a welcome party on Thursday. Each interaction with the various team members at The Omni was well thought out and organized - a DREAM to a bride and groom in the middle of wedding planning! They were clear and up front about the venue and options for various vendors, what we could / could not do and helped us come up with some creative solutions along the way! The food was also incredible!! We had so many good reviews from our guests on not only the presentation but the taste of everything! There were a few mishaps (as to be expected), but Miranda was extremely quick and thoughtful in working towards a solution and made sure everything was taken care of quickly! We can't wait to go back to Amelia Island and reminisce on our perfect wedding! I would highly recommend to anyone looking that you check out The Omni!!
My husband and I recently got married at Walker's Landing. We also hosted our welcome party and farewell brunch through other Omni venues. Each event was seamless and beyond our expectations. Our guests are still raving about how wonderful the food was -- multiple people even commented that "wedding food is not supposed to be this good!". The customer service was outstanding - from the bellmen and valet team to the catering crew. Everyone was warm and friendly and made us and our guests feel so special. Truly top notch.
Miranda was always willing to work with us to find a solution to any hiccup that came up throughout the planning process. We have high standards and expectations, and Miranda and her team exceeded every single one.
My husband and I had our wedding at Walker’s Landing Amelia Island in April of 2022. Overall, we had a wonderful experience, all thanks to our FABULOUS catering manager, Miranda Fick. Working with a large hotel such as the Omni does not come without some hiccups, but having Miranda as point of contact to iron out all of the wrinkles made the day go off without a hitch! She worked seamlessly with my wedding planners, Adair Currie and Mandy Bramer of Dairing Events. The venue was beyond gorgeous, the food was FANTASTIC (amazing that they can keep it all warm and tender when transporting it from the main hotel a mile away), the bartenders were friendly and on point, and the day of staff took care of our every need. They were even able to accommodate the numerous food allergies in my family and made us a gluten free cake, that no one had any idea was gluten free…it was phenomenal!
We had a welcome party in place of a rehearsal dinner over at the golf course, Marsh View Terrace. Miranda and her team did an excellent job with this as well. Some details were missed, but overall, it was an excellent night. The guests raved about the buffet meal the Omni prepared for us.
Since this was a destination wedding for us, we had a large room block for our guests. I also have to give a shout-out to Dwyneshia Bonneau, our group rooms coordinator, for helping with all of these details. She was a pleasure to work with and a huge help to us!
Overall, our guests had a fantastic time! Many of them said it was the best wedding they had ever attended! It was such a blast extending the wedding and having everyone stay for 2-3 nights. The day after the wedding we all hung out and drank by the pool and then went to the Falcon’s Nest that night. It was a great place to have a destination wedding!
My husband and I were just married at the Omni and it was amazing. Miranda was fantastic, she went above and beyond to make our day special. Highly recommend the Omni for a wedding.
The venue and the people really made my wedding day as special as it could be. Oak Point Lawn is a gorgeous venue (although, the rest of the resort is absolutely gorgeous as well) and Miranda is so good at what she does. She helped me plan for everything and made me so calm the day of. I was so thankful I could trust her because everything went so smoothly in the end. Highly recommend!!!
My husband and I were married on May 8, 2021 at Walker's Landing through the Omni. We started planning a week before the pandemic and wanted to get married at the Omni, but then shutdowns happened for a month or two. By the time the Omni was back up and running, our original date we wanted was booked, so we settled on May 8, and it ended up being the perfect timing!
The whole staff at the Omni was great to work with, in particular, Marissa and Miranda. They are very responsive, answered all our questions, and made the wedding day perfect. Beyond just the group we worked with for the wedding, the rest of the Omni staff is incredible - the valet, concierge, bellhops, restaurant servers - all my guests were so please with how nice everyone was, and how seamless the whole weekend went.
The Omni Amelia Island is particularly perfect for weddings with lots of friends and families because they not only offer the hotel for accommodations, but also multi-bedroom villas, which were ideal for families staying together. There is a shuttle that will provide transportation on the Omni property that is very convenient so guests don't have to worry about having a car or walking places.
We are so please with how our wedding weekend went, and can't wait to return to the Omni Amelia Island for our anniversary!
My husband and I were supposed to have a big destination wedding in May 2020, then it moved to November, and then when nothing changed even with the vaccines early this year, we decided to elope. While we looked at numerous places all over the country the Omni on Amelia Island stood out above the rest. We already have a big destination wedding planned so we wanted to elope and have it be intimate with just the two of us and they truly made that dream come true. The team was a dream to work with, our accommodations was above and beyond, and the actual day itself, well it was magical. The team upgraded our room and had treats waiting for us at check in. The resort had a steel Pan person playing so we literally felt transported to the Caribbean. The resort itself was clean with amazing food choices and incredible staff. Miranda who was our coordinator, went above and beyond to make our experience exceptional and one we’d never forget. We truly had a magical experience that we’d treasure for a lifetime but even better, found a place that we can return to annually to celebrate our love and union.
Our daughter requested to get married at the Omni Amelia Island Resort. From the first day I contacted them, I knew it was the right choice. The sales team, catering team and reservation team, could not have been more helpful in our year long journey. Trying to coordinate a destination wedding can be very challenging, but the staff here made it seem like they were in our home town. Miranda, Marissa, Dwyneshia, just to name a few, were always very prompt in replying to our questions and requests. They all made excellent recommendations, solutions, and most of all wanted this wedding to be a success and beautiful as much as we did. Thank you Omni staff for all your help.
Our wedding experience at Omni Amelia Island Resort was wonderful! We booked our wedding in February of 2020, just before the pandemic. During the pandemic, Miranda Fick made sure to keep us updated with guidelines, restrictions, etc. During the unprecedented times, she was available to answer any and all (which were a lot) of questions we had. At the end of 2020 we made the decision to move forward with our original date which was 2/27/21. About a month before our scheduled date, my dad was diagnosed with cancer. We made the decision to do a private ceremony so my dad could be there to walk me down the aisle. Miranda and the Omni allowed us to do the private ceremony at their beautiful Oak Point Lawn three weeks prior to our original date. We planned the ceremony in about a week, and Miranda and the Omni bent over backwards to make it happen for us. We still had the reception 2/27/21 and it was the best night of our life. I would highly recommend Omni Amelia Island Resort for your wedding venue. Also, the food was AMAZING and the cake was delicious. Our guests are still telling us how much they enjoyed the food and cake.
We worked with Miranda to create the wedding that Kevin and I desired. We had an amazing event in spite of Covid, but we could NOT have pulled it off without Miranda. She was amazing about helping us through all of the changes that went with that year.
We had to reschedule our Amelia Island wedding from April to October due to COVID. It was very stressful and daunting to reorganize out of town guests and to make sure we were all safe. But the Omni Amelia team, specifically Miranda, went above and beyond. They reassured us all the joy and fun of a wedding would still occur but that protocols were in place to keep our guests safe. We had a welcome reception outside at the main hotel, a hospitality suite throughout the weekend, and our ceremony and reception at the Oak Marsh. It even rained a little during our ceremony and the staff were excellent. Miranda was quick to respond to any question or request (we had a lot of them), the food was awesome (as an event planner myself I know this can be difficult), and the staff ensured our guests had a great time. I highly recommend to any bride!
We got married here in December 2020 and I cannot overstate how happy we were with our experience. Our wedding day was literally my dream come true and I planned it via emails and phone calls from where we live in Dallas with their amazing Event Specialist, Miranda Fick. From our initial visit months before the wedding to the valet staff members who loaded our car as we left for our honeymoon, we found the Omni staff to be attentive, professional, courteous and helpful. The resort and grounds are just exceptional and even more beautiful in person than in the photos on the website. We would definitely recommend staying here and ABSOLUTELY recommend planning your event here. We can't wait to visits again!
My husband and I got married at the Omni 11/14/20. We had our ceremony at Oceanview Terrace and the reception at Sunrise Cafe. It was more beautiful than I could have imagined. The staff was extremely polite, welcoming, and accommodating. Miranda really went the extra mile to ensure I had the most perfect day. I started planning my wedding pre-covid and thankfully I didn’t have to tweak our plans too much. She kept me calm during the uncertainty and always had answers for my countless questions. Covid did ruin our original honeymoon plans for Hawaii, but since Amelia Island and the Omni is so beautiful we decided to stay for a few extra days as a “mini moon”. It was unforgettable. I would absolutely recommend this place if you are considering getting married in Amelia Island.
We recently were married at the Omni November 14th of 2020. I cannot recommend this venue enough! November 14th was the original date we planned on when we booked the resort last October. We had decided on Walker's Landing for the ample outdoor space but plenty of room in case of rain seeing as we are native Floridians and completely understand how the weather can change within the hour and thought that was all we had to worry about...
Little did we know that COVID-19 would wreak havoc and there would even be a post-hurricane season tropical storm hitting mere days before our weekend. The Omni team handled it with ease, allowing us to come up for multiple meetings and answering all of our questions.
We ended up moving our ceremony and reception to a 100% outdoor option at the Oak Point Lawn and Marsh View Terrace. The Terrace was completely transformed into a beautiful space with cafe lights and plenty of room for our guests to feel comfortable.
Our guests had a truly incredible weekend. The resort was extremely accommodating and made everyone feel special - including Michael and I. They made everything so easy and stress free. While we couldn't control how insanely perfect our weather was all weekend I know that even if it had rained they would have had everything under control.
Cannot recommend them enough.
We had a destination wedding from Pittsburgh to Florida and choosing the Omni was a no brainer. The resort is beautiful and Walkers Landing is amazing. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Planning a wedding from Pittsburgh was relatively easy with their help. We worked with Linsey and she was extremely organized and on top of things the entire time. They have many events going on all year long so response times were a bit slow, but everything got planned in plenty of time. Another reason we loved it here was because they took care of a lot of things, where at other venues you would have to hire several other vendors. The food came from the Omni (so good btw), the cake, tables/chairs, servers and bar tenders, linens etc. Plus, we used PRI Productions for our florals and decor and they work out of the Omni Resort and know the events team very well. Making it even easier.
Coordinating the rehearsal dinner and after party was also very easy because we did everything onsite and it was all billed to our master account. Since this was a destination wedding and most of our guests came from PA, we had a welcome bonfire on the beach on Friday and I would highly recommend! Everyone had a great time.
Overall, great experience! Can't imagine getting married anywhere else.
We used the Omni as “home base” for our wedding festivities. Our guests were so impressed with the facilities, service, and value. We hosted a bonfire on the beach through their team and could not have asked for better service. We had a couple snags in communication that the Omni immediately stepped up to handle and rectify. Courtney Stuart, Mary Jo, Lindsey Haas and Megan Chism - you guys are the dream team. Thank you for answering all my emails, aiding in all the planning, and working tirelessly to help serve our guests. Everyone left saying they made a memory, we could not ask for more.
We planned a 50 person destination wedding here and I cannot say how thankful we are for Sune and ALL of the staff at Omni Amelia Island. Every single staff member went above and beyond not only for myself and my husband, but all of our family and guests as well. The resort is beautiful and very well maintained. The venues and guestrooms are clean. We held our ceremony on the beach and our reception on the Oceanview terrace. I was worried that things might be in disarray after a hurricane went through a couple weeks before our day, but everything was handled and organized exceptionally. The food was AMAZING!! We never had a bad meal while there. The planning process was seamless with Sune's help-and I have very high organizing and planning expectations being a massive type-A, control freak. :) Already planning a 1st anniversary trip back!
Beautiful venue! Everyone, especially Sune Holt and Carol Burns catered to everything we needed. All of our guests cannot stop talking about the beauty of our ceremony location, the food, and the hospitality. Thank you everyone. Shout out to Ashley too!
I got married at the Omni in the Oceanview Room and Terrace. The property is absolutely beautiful and is why we chose to get married there. We had a 75 person wedding that was supposed to be on the beach, but unfortunately, it rained. While the property was beautiful, the service from the wedding department was AWFUL. Unless you are having a Walkers Landing wedding with 150+ people, they really don't care to provide service. Dealing with the wedding coordinator was a hassel and the first answer to most questions was typically no. Beware of their back up plan for a beach wedding. No bride wants to think about the back up plan, but they try to put you in an ugly brown conference room that is terrible. Thanks to my MOH, I was still able to get married outside (even though the staff was fighting against her on the spot). The reception was beautiful thanks to my florist and other vendors. I would seriously consider having your wedding at the Omni if you want great service for the money that you are paying. The resort is amazing and most of the staff is friendly, but their wedding department needs serious change.
With the new rennovation the Omni looks fantastic. The previous breakfast bar has been remodeled to include an outdoor patio and a beautiful view of the ocean from the wall of windows. It's the perfect place to host a wedding of 90 people or less. We were able to get married on the beach, use the boardwalk as our receiving line, have cocktails and appetizer on the patio, and dinner and dancing inside. Simple and easy for guests, and a beautiful atmosphere and experience. Highly recommend the Sunrise cafe over their typical wedding location called Walker's Landing.
My husband and I enjoyed our first few days of marriage at this resort and we could not be happier.
When I first visited Walkers Landing I knew right away this was the place for my wedding! We had the ceremony on the lawn under a giant oak tree overlooking the intercostal. The reception was in side the rustic building with high beam ceilings and floor to ceiling windows with 2 wrap around porches. I HIGHLY recommend it!!!
WONDERFUL!!!
Breathtaking venue with beautiful views of the sunset over the marsh. Stunning place to have a wedding & a reception.
We had a small wedding with about 17 guests at Omni Amelia Island Plantation. It was beautiful! They took care of everything and it was super easy. I would definatly recommend them!
