Omni Fresco Catering

I wish I could eat Omni's food every single day. Everything from the amazing mini tacos (I don't even eat tacos!) to the pasta to the steak and everything in between was just perfect and delicious. And the people were so so great to work with. Someone even made sure my mom was eating on the wedding day! We are so grateful we worked with Omni and absolutely would recommend them to anyone!

I loved Omni! They're service was spectacular. Cassie is the best! My husband and I were extremely well taken care of, as were our guests. Once my husband and I were ready to join the cocktail hour after our ceremony was over, one of the staff immediately asked us what we wanted to drink, and then brought those drinks and two plates full of our appetizers for us to snack on. That staff member then followed us around with the food, while we talked to our friends and family and enjoyed our venue. It is also Omni protocol to have drinks ready and waiting (but not waiting so long that they get warm) for the guests as soon as cocktail hour starts. The event manager will literally watch for when the ceremony ends if your ceremony/reception venue is the same, so that the staff can't start pouring drinks like wine or the specialty cocktail so that the guests don't have to wait in line. This is genius to me, and makes the cocktail experience that much better for guests and gets the party started! Although I wouldn't say I'm a food snob, I definitely know good food, and I always have low expectations for catered food for large groups. Omni provides free tasting (which I was incredibly pleased with) in their lovely dining room at their headquarters, and the person who would be your event manager sits with you to go over the food. Other caterers either wanted to charge $100 or more for a tasting or gave us boxed food from a wedding that ended up being cold by the time we got it home. We decided on a fairly typical menu of salmon, tri-tip, grilled veggies and mashed potatoes. Our guests raved about the salmon - they couldn't believe how moist it was - as well as the mashed potatoes. I really enjoyed the tri-tip as well. We did a buffet, and again the staff put everything on my and my husband's plates and we got to actually eat our food. Although the food might not have been the most amazing food we've ever eaten, it highly exceeded our expectations, and I was so happy to hear that our guests loved the food too. But what I feel is even more important than the food, is the service, and Omni goes above and beyond. (My husband somehow cut his finger, probably on a champagne bottle, and Cassie brought him a bandaid.) The staff were always making sure the guests were enjoying their food and drinks. I would highly recommend Omni to anyone !

Omni Catering provided delicious food at our buffet dinner. They were very organized. The food was very good and they did a free tasting. I would have liked to have the same person who was our contact there through the entire process actually be at the event (they had someone else from the company which they said was standard) but they seemed very organized.

Omni Catering was very professional and provided great food and service. They event coordinator worked diligently with us in the months before our wedding, coordinating all our rentals. Their team day-of was experienced and made sure everything ran on schedule. The food and service were great, I would recommend!

When we first began planning our wedding we thought we would just hire some food trucks and call it a day with the food at our wedding. We quickly came to realize what a huge headache coordinating that kind of project would be, not to mention the separate rentals. This is where Omni came in. We were initially really sold by their advertising of fresh ingredients, their delicious menu, and their awesome reviews. After using them for our wedding I can say that they delivered above and beyond what we expected. Probably the most important thing for a caterer is their food, closely followed by service. Our food was phenomenal, it tasted like a gourmet meal. This was a particular feat at our venue which was an outdoor park with no onsite kitchen. Our chicken was moist, the steak was perfectly cooked, and the risotto was actually the consistency that risotto should be. My favorite part of our meal though was the gorgonzola salad – two things I didn’t think I even liked prior to our wedding tasting (gorgonzola and salad). Our guests raved about the food and we will remember it for years to come. While the taste of the food was very important and is largely the reason we chose Omni, there service is something that cannot go unmentioned. Our coordinator Cassie and her team were unbelievable. We served a family style meal and their precision in serving food to each table was like watching a ballet, so perfect. The time between table 1 and table 11 getting their meals was maybe 15 minutes. The execution by the wait staff was the best I’ve seen at any large event. Cassie’s team was also particularly thoughtful towards my husband and I- they met us within moments of our arrival at our reception with a plate full of appetizers and drinks, both necessary for a hungry bride and groom. The bartenders were also phenomenal. They made sure no one went thirsty and they did it with a great efficiency that meant there was never a crazy line. Our signature drink was a mojito and I had at least five – all of which were awesome. Omni also handled our rentals, which I never once thought about and looked fabulous when I arrived. Overall we could not be more pleased with how Omni performed at our wedding and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality caterer.

Omni was amazing! Cassie was our contact and she did an amazing job working with us. She helped us find the perfect menu to match our venue and our price range. In addition to the amazing food and service we received, Omni goes above and beyond and also coordinated our wedding day. Cassie's and her team worked with a local rental company to decorate our wedding just the way we wanted. They also were amazing in helping set up and take down as well as transitioning decor items and coordinating with guests and other vendors including our DJ to keep things running smoothly. Their food was amazing, the appetizer station was a hit and the signature drinks they put togethe for us are still beig talked about. Everything from A to Z was done and Cassie and her team helped keep it stress free. I would recommend Omni without any reservations!

Omni Catering is seriously the best caterer in Santa Barbara. I have used them several times in the past for work events and personal parties and it's because of those positive experiences that my fiance and I chose them to cater the most important day of our lives...our wedding! From discussing the numerous fun and creative ideas for our menu to the staff that served our guests, Sarah and her crew showed the utmost patience, creativity, honesty and overall professionalism that all would admire. We highly recommend using Omni Catering for your wedding!!

I used Omni for my wedding this month and was blown away how great the food was. I'm used to getting pretty mediocre wedding food and was so excited to find them. They have a nice variety of appetizers that my guests raved about and the buffet selections stayed fresh and delicious for the whole meal. More than the food however was the staff. Cassie and the rest of the team were so easy to work with, very accommodating and made the night go so smoothly.

I feel in LOVE with Omni from the very beginning, before I even booked with them. They were super flexible, kind, and easy to work with. I had to cancel the morning of our tasting due to the flu and there was no hassle or hard feelings. I felt so at home with the experience with Sarah and Juan, it helped through out the process. Sarah provided me above and beyond good service and the food was delicious. I am SO VERY happy and would recommend them to everyone and use them again and again!

Omni Fresco catered our wedding and everything from the beginning of planning the menu to the execution on our wedding day was flawless! They worked with all of our ideas and created exactly what we wanted. They were also able to provide wonderful suggestions! Both the service and the food were incredible! We started out with three passed appetizers (swedish meatballs, gorgonzola stuffed dates wrapped in prosciutto, & mini grilled cheese sandwiches), we than served a beautiful baby greens salad with grilled peaches, avocado and pecans in a simple yet delicous olive oil dressing. Our main menu included either chicken, fish or vegaterian option all served with sweet potato fries and grilled vegetables (asparagus & mushrooms), we also served a family style bowl of pierogies & baskets with bread. We eneded the night with a late-night snack, which included a variety of cheeses & grilled Polish sausages. Everyone worked really hard to make our day perfect!

Omni Fresco Catering catered my wedding on Oct 16th. They did the most amazing job! The food was incredible and the service was excellent! They are by far the best in Santa Barbara.
