Catering Sales Manager
Tina Rodriguez moved to the valley in 2016 from the Very Sunny & Rainy State, Florida. After working at Hyatt Regency Indian Wells for 5 years, She decided to join the Omni team in 2020. Her time was very brief time due to COVID.
During furlough, she decided to try out many job positions and even became a real estate agent. But after time she missed the resort very much and was happy to return as a Catering Sales Manager.
When Tina isn't helping clients, you can find her wiping her little one's sticky fingers from her laptop, snuggled with her 14 year old Chihuahua named Biscuit, or showing homes on the weekend!

If you are looking for a beautiful venue in the Palm Springs Area, this is the best choice. It was the most beautiful location we could have dreamed of. Easy to work with and prompt communication.

There’s so much to say here… you’re working with the venue catering manager for months leading up to the wedding day. For us, we worked with Nadine. Nadine will be your single-point-of-contact as you interact with half a dozen different departments and representatives across the resort. And let me say, she does a splendid job of organizing your needs and details. She’s attentive to requests, timely to respond to emails and phone calls, and ultimately puts every little detail into your BEO (banquette event orders).
The venue itself is beautiful and well maintained. Haven’t seen the photos yet, but in the moment… everything felt stunning. The Las Palmas Lawn feels private for the ceremony. The Starlight Terrace is the perfect size for a medium/large wedding. We even did a catered welcome party on the sunrise terrace and it was a perfect setting… especially being walking distance for most of our guests staying at the resort.
The food… let me tell you… this is probably the best “high-volume” meal we’ve ever had. We went with Salmon and Filet. The filet in particular was stunning and perfectly cooked for EVERY guest. How the kitchen pulled off ~95 perfectly cooked steaks at the same time, it’s really impressive. Their cake chef crushed it too. Everything to do with their kitchen was astonishing from tasting day to wedding day.
You also get a catering captain, Angel on our day, who manages the day of the event and will jump on any need or request you have. He covered our welcome party, reception and after party. He was everywhere and no where at the same time.
One of the other incredible experiences of having the wedding at Omni Las Palmas, with many of your guests staying there… every morning is a mini meet and greet by the pool and lobby. We’d just sit out in the morning, sipping coffee, and saying hi to many of our friends and family as they came and went.
Overall, a truly magical and wonderful experience that we will never forget.

Everything about the Omni was amazing. The lawn and Starlighg terrace made for a beautiful setting that not only left our guest speechless, but our photos memorable. The weather was perfect. The staff was amazing! Carly was the most kind and professional event coordinator we met and we went to 4 other venues before settling on the Omni. Before leaving our tour my husband and I knew this was where we wanted to get married. Now we look forward to spending our one year anniversary back at the Omni! Enjoying the food, pool, and fun... the chef was great can’t wait to go back and visit!

This hotel is BEAUTIFUL and was the perfect backdrop to our wedding. We chose to have our ceremony on the Las Palmas Lawn, and our dinner reception at the Sunrise Terrace. BOTH beautiful venues. All our guests raved about the amazing venue of palm trees and greenery. The food here is absolutely amazing. Compared to other hotel weddings we have attended, the food that was served is top-notch. They also made a beautiful hazelnut cake for us. The staff here are extremely friendly and will make every effort to make your day perfect. Special THANK YOU and gratitude to Rafunzel from Omni Rancho who helped us every step of the way. She is a DREAM to work with, and will take away any worries you have about the wedding venue and catering menu.

I absolutely loved our venue there was several things I would have changed. The coordinator told us when we booked that we would have no worries with the sunsetting by the time we took our wedding photos it was completely dark. Our photographer had to use a lighting system. The staff was completely amazing! I think there were several things I would have changed but overall our venue was amazing. We also felt that ever time we tried to cost somewhere we were reminded of how much the average wedding costs there and reminded of how great of a deal we were getting. Thank you but I don't need to be reminded of how expensive everyone else's wedding is, we are not them. Also, the rooms were WAY over priced, so they gave us a deal on the wedding but the rooms is where they made up for it. Overall, the food was great the staff was great, the venue was beautiful.
