I got married on Dec 11 and have thought about what I wanted to write in my review since then. These aren't the easiest things to do but I feel it must be said.
I'll start with the good things. Lisa and her team are incredible at the design a...spect. She seemed to know exactly what I wanted by me describing it. My décor, ceremony, reception space were so beautifully decorated. The amount of times I changed my mind must've been so obnoxious but each time On Cloud 9 was happy to help me figure it out and adjust my quote accordingly. They had every piece I wanted in their inventory which made the decisions even harder but so perfect. If you're looking for a rental company this is the one.
Now for the not so fun part.. For background; I had my wedding at Still Waters Ranch and booked in late 2020 with the package that included their on-site coordinator. That ended up falling through which then full circled us back to having our coordination services done with On Cloud 9. I had high hopes leading up to the wedding as my timeline was beautifully detailed and put together and the entire team was seemingly prepared. When the day came, that kind of changed.
The morning of my wedding was... chaotic. My coordinator was a little more occupied with setting everything up than ensuring we were on time. A few times I had to go down and ask for certain things to be moved along or for her to help kind of mitigate the chaos myself instead of being proactive and doing so. I felt as though the entire morning was so lax and then all of a sudden we checked the time and I'm like ?? Shouldn't I be doing my first look? I had to ask if it was time only to be told "If you are ready". I was under the impression by having a coordinator that these types of things would be taken care of and I would not have to keep track of timeline. Little things like that happened a lot during the day, we were so behind and I didn't realize because no one communicated it with me. By the time cake was cut and I went to grab my phone it was almost 7:30 and dancing hadn't started. It was supposed to start an hour earlier than that. I felt very out of the loop and as though me and our timeline wer not the biggest priority of the day. During pictures, my MOH had to run and grab the flowers for my parents as they were forgotten and not given to them our dads never received their boutonnieres. At the end of the night, I was asked about specifics on where things should be going (i.e. extra food, liquor, gifts, etc.) when this was talked about and supposed to be written on the timeline before the day; and after leaving our reception to show them; things were still forgotten and luckily my MOH and MIL were there to do a sweep and grab those last missing items.
Overall, their services were beautiful and I appreciated everything On Cloud 9 did for us. I just wish day of would have gone a little smoother and a tad bit more of the focus was on making sure things went in a timely manner so I wasn't as stressed or it wasn't so chaotic the morning of. They are a great rental company, coordination services on the other hand... Could use improvement.
