When we needed quick advice on how to get room blocks because hotels weren't getting back to us, she had an answer. She also gave great feedback when we shared with her some ideas about performances - we had a DJ and a drag-type of performer. Problem Solving: When I was nervous about potential wedding crashers, Erica eased my mind. Erica also recommended us for a show that helped me find my suit. Not only did this save us thousands of dollars, it helped me figure out what suit I wanted. Collaborative: Erica showed respect to every single vendor. Some vendors mentioned that sometimes wedding planners don't allocate time for them to eat, or give them water, or space to prep. Erica took care of the needs of all of the vendors, as well as us. Our vendors raved about working with her. There was no conflict, only collaboration, respect, and inclusion. We highly recommend Erica for any wedding regardless of the budget size.

. We hit it off and it was special working with a couple who clearly love what they do and had a similar dynamic to my relationship with my partner. They were the key to my sanity (and my partner's too) during this process and kept us on track without making things feel overwhelming. When I described them to our friends, I described it as E&A took the matches away from me so I wouldn't start a dumpster fire aka my stress. E&A listened to what I wanted and not only exceeded our expectations, but were honest with me if something wasn't doable (which can be hard to find). For our vendors we wanted to prioritize Black-owned, queer-owned, asian-owned, and immigrant-owned and Erica found incredible vendors for us. During our wedding, Erica made the day incredible by handling the details and last minute fires so we could be in the moment, which was huge for me because my anxiety tends to throw me into a worry/perfectionist spiral. Now that our wedding is over, I'm going to miss our check-ins.

After having to move our wedding date multiple times because of COVID, we were burnt out with planning on our own, so having their guidance was truly invaluable. Every time I felt overwhelmed, we’d have our next meeting and Erica immediately had a supportive, calming presence that turned my mood right back around. On the morning of our wedding, when my florist failed to delivery the table greenery as scheduled, Erica and Aaliyah went out in the rain to find it for me so I wouldn’t be without it. It felt like they were everywhere at once, and I had both guests and other vendors tell me how great they are and how much the enjoyed working with them. They kept us on schedule and made sure everything and everyone was where it needed to be. We highly, highly recommend hiring One 15 Events for your big day! We loved our wedding day so much and it would literally not have been possible without them!

, our nuptials always promised to be a large, international event. Wedding planning is new to most of us who undertake it, and overwhelming during the best of times - then insert the uncertainty of post 2020 and the process seems insurmountable.  Not only were we no longer able to celebrate with our family and friends as originally planned, but with the ongoing and long-lasting impact of the pandemic, even securing small venues proved to be truly difficult all the way up to only a few mere months out from our intended wedding date in September 2021. With plans and regulations continuing to make securing anything solid seem remotely possible, my wife and I were feeling overwhelmed and uncertain about how we would possibly make our big day feel special and connected. It was at this point when we felt like all of our options were slipping through our fingers, and after a grueling year that was 2020 it felt difficult to imagine being able to put something together that would feel celebratory. It was then that we finally decided to seek assistance from seasoned experts -  cue Erica and Alana at one15events. From the first video session we immediately felt at ease and that we had chosen the right partners to help us re-organize, remain calm, and make all the right decisions to help make our wedding day as unforgettable as the current situation would allow.  Erica and Alana struck a perfect balance of expressing acute professional expertise and command of the planning process, all while remaining highly personable, friendly, and collaborative. This was exactly the type of assistance we had needed but didn't even know it. Given the extremely short time window left before our big day, we opted for the 'day of coordination package.' Despite the short notice and frantic state my wife and I had found ourselves in, Erica and Alana provided immediate and countless creative alternative solutions for all our hurdles, ensured we always knew what tasks had to be decided upon next as the process moved along, and always managed to keep all the details - even the smallest easily forgettable minutia - organized and on schedule. Our biggest three lessons which we would happily share with others who are in this process is: ' 1, Get a planner, 2, get a good one, and 3, make it Erica and Alana at One15.' Erica and Alana were attentive and always strove to source sustainable options, and small woman owned businesses. To help us feel connected with our family and friends abroad, Erica and Alana went above and beyond and helped us send tiny little parcels with hand written letters before the wedding, as well as helped us coordinate an entire live stream from a single phone device. On the day Erica and Alana's team saved the day in so many ways - from last minute coffee and breakfast for the bride and hair and make-up team, to tissues when my wife and I could not get through our vows without a seemingly endless stream of happy tears - and even arranging transport for my in-laws at the end of the event. I will never be able to fully express our gratitude to Erica and Alana for making the most important day of our lives an absolutely smashing success.

y getting to that ever-distant "day-of" on Sep. 11, 2021. During our nearly 2 years of working with them, they initiated regular check-ins with us to see how we were feeling, weighed in on whether to postpone, suggested ideas for how to communicate with our guests, and ultimately advised us on how to have a safe wedding. Every time we spoke with Erica and Alana they were extremely organized, having a full record of previous conversations so that we never had to rehash items we'd already discussed. They also recommended the DJ who we ended up working with, and he was incredible. Even with all of this context, knowing how fantastic Erica and Alana had been over the past few years, we were still completely blown out of the water on our wedding day. Not only did everything run like clockwork - everything was on-time, setup was spot on, etc. - but Erica also made lots of expert decisions that we never could / would have thought of. For example, we had discussed ahead of time where our guest book should be, and Erica placed it in a different spot during the cocktail hour so it would have more visibility. We can tell that the vast majority of people signed it while it was sitting in that spot, which we never would have predicted. This is just one example, but she drew on her expertise to make many other similar judgment calls throughout the course of the day. I cannot recommend One15 Events highly enough. You are in the absolute best hands with Erica, Alana, and their team. They are kind, supportive, affirming, and so unbelievably organized. Wow. I hope I never have to get married again, but if I did, I'd hire them in a heartbeat.

They helped us line up vendors and plan a full wedding through the pandemic (with high hopes!), then helped us reschedule and plan an entirely new wedding -- in a new location, with all new vendors, and new budgets -- in August 2021. The entire process was easy, safe, and fun. We barely stressed in the month leading up to the wedding (and in fact were a little concerned that we weren't more stressed??) because E & A were so on-top-of-their-shit. They were also just lovely to work with, quick to communicate, rolled with the punches, and went above and beyond to make our dream wedding a reality. In between all the changes, they facilitated hosting Friday drinks, a big Saturday party, and then bagel brunch in New York City for 200+ people, all vaccinated. The entire weekend run smoothly and joyfully. Hopefully we won't get married again, but if we did, we'd hire One 15 Events without hesitation.

Erica and Alana helped us with the entire process, starting with finding a venue that had never hosted a wedding before. It was a new building that turned out to be the perfect venue for us, and Erica and Alana helped negotiate a great deal that included the venue, catering, rentals, staffing, and cleaning. Once the venue was secured, Erica and Alana kept us informed and on track with organized wedding planning documents and regular scheduled calls. Even when we were slow to progress with various planning and preparation benchmarks, Erica and Alana maintained a calm and confident demeanor and helped us get everything accomplished. They had plenty of great referrals and ideas to save money, including inexpensive flower, cake, decoration, and DJ options. As the wedding approached, Erica and Alana ensured everything came together, and they took care of all the decorations and venue preparations for the day of the wedding. They had contact with all of our vendors and key wedding party people to keep everyone on track, and they were positive, hard-working, and low-stress at our wedding. They kept everything in order and delivered an EPIC wedding that everyone was complimentary of. And so you don't have to take just my word for them, when we spoke to the caterer after the wedding, they said Erica and Alana were phenomenal (they specifically said to us, "we work with a lot of wedding planners, and you don't know what's out there--Erica and Alana are incredible!"). Erica and Alana can do it all--and they did for us! I have 100% confidence in them, and I give them my heartfelt thanks and strongest endorsement to anyone looking for a wedding planner!
