Sumeta was highly professional throughout the process. She did a great job coordinating between the families to make the wedding special. Most impressive was her team's day of coordination. The day of was relaxing and enjoyable in a way that would not have been possible without her efforts.
Sumeta was phenomenal to work with. I consider myself to be very organized and operationally oriented, but Sumeta constantly brought up items we had not considered in our planning stage. She took the time to understand what type of wedding and event we were looking for and made sure to ask the right questions to get us there. We had a very short timeline in our planning and Sumeta met us at every milestone to make sure we were on track for our special occasion. Her detailed mind and fantastic team executed every request and suggested adjustments to meet our overall planning goals for a celebration to remember. From Vendor communications to music testing, she was with us through the process as a partner. My only regret is we did not initiate her, and her team’s help earlier in the planning process. You won’t be disappointed with this team!

We found Sumeta online while just browsing for full service wedding planners in the Southeast region. We reached out to her via her website and heard back very quickly! We were able to set up a consultation call to essentially go over what we are looking for and ensure we could be the right fit for each other. From the first call, Sumeta was so kind and sincere! It was clear she absolutely loves what she does and genuinely wants to celebrate your love and marriage. She was very inquisitive - she, of course, asked the basic questions about our wedding events and what services we were looking for - but she was the only planner who asked us some unexpected out-of-the-box questions, like what does celebrating love look like to us, what kind of experience did we want to have, what kind of experience did we want our guests to have, and how we want to tell/share our love story through our wedding. It wasn't just all business - she was genuinely most interested in us as a couple. We really appreciated her questions and just had a really good gut feeling upon ending our call. All I can say is always trust your instinct. We are so glad we did because this was the beginning of the best decision we made!
We started on a completely blank page, so we wanted to go the full service package route as we trusted that Sumeta would have the best contacts and be able to get us the best deals throughout the process. What we really appreciated the most during this phase was that we didn't just jump right into vendors and venue. Sumeta has a process. She wanted us to "dream" and really think about what was important to us. It was really fun to use our imagination and try to put into words what we visioned. She really wanted to understand where our hearts were before showing us any venues or vendors. She really did it all for us - venue, catering, photography, videography, decor, entertainment, photobooth, singer, etc - every single vendor we worked with we found through Sumeta. She would lead all calls and meetings, review contracts, and negotiate.
During the wedding week, she is mainly behind the scenes ensuring everything is running smoothly. It's crazy how many hats she wears, but she wears them well! Despite everything that is going on, she would always make time to come see me during hair and makeup, she would always make sure to greet us before any of our entrances, she would check in with us throughout the event to make sure we were eating or that we always had a cocktail in hand, and she would even be there at the end of every event to make sure we were happy with everything. I really don't know how she always found the time and energy to do all of it - seriously, she's superhuman. We always felt cared for! She also brought two additional assistants with her for the weekend, Alyssa and Sydney, and they were a true reflection of her! She really only works with the best people, and we always felt like we could just trust her entire team and enjoy our wedding weekend.
Sumeta continued to work with us after the wedding to ensure all of our contracts and payments were closed out. She believes in supporting her couples until they truly have closed out everything and have received all their deliverables.
Sumeta is simply the best! The work that she does is truly her calling. She genuinely believes in celebrating love and she will make the planning process actually fun - we loved planning with Sumeta and would recommend her every single time <3

lended such trust and were open to the creative approach to planning and design and that makes all the difference in the success and energy we were able to create together!
From the Planning Zoom sessions that ended in us sharing our favorite shows to the in person meetings where we got to share in the architecture of your event. All the way to the Wedding weekend text messages from Hassan sharing his 'first date socks' with me. You both exuded so much Love and energy!

Sumeta was our wedding planner for our 3 day wedding weekend in October, 2021 and we started working with her about 10 months before the wedding. She was thorough and professional and patiently answered all my questions/concerns throughout the planning process. She got to know us as a couple and what our preferences were and provided vendor choices accordingly. We dealt with vendors only through communication with her and that was a huge stress relief. She would do regular meetings with us (virtual/phone during the pandemic) and in the months closer to the wedding, also worked with my parents and in-laws for their preferences. We also saw her face to face more as the wedding got closer. As a result of the planning, we and our guests were able to enjoy our wedding to the fullest! The things that were important to us included timing of events (since there were multiple ones), organization, good food and dancing and I would say all those points were addressed very well and much more! There was one vendor that backed out of a specific plan we had discussed about two months before the wedding and Sumeta worked with us to get a good Plan B in place and in the end, everything worked out really well with that!
She is also a really sweet person and takes the time to really get to know the couples she works with! Wedding planning is hard work and I would highly recommend her and her team!

You are wonderfully kind people who dedicate so much to the care of others- your wedding plans had to match that same energy and love and I am so thankful we could create that together! I know this is long but it is important - please do NOT hire them. We hired Sumeta back in 2019 for our wedding (vidhi, garba, wedding, and reception).
Months before the wedding, Sumeta sent us an amendment to our contract due to the changed date (due to COVID). When we reviewed the amendment in detail, we noticed that she had increased the original package rate, added a fee for the vidhi, and added costs for the date change. We only noticed all these differences when we did some digging and found the original contract from 2019 which had a lower rate and included the vidhi in the package price. After we mentioned the discrepancies in the contracts, it took many reminders for her to admit the amendment she sent was wrong. She was trying to pull a fast one on us which was a total shock because she was the ONLY vendor to try and get more money out of us in a deceitful way.
Weeks up to the wedding, she promised that she would deliver an itinerary for the wedding and reception. I received the wedding itinerary one day before my event and I still to this day have NOT received a reception itinerary.
During the actual wedding weekend, I had so many people tell me how clueless my wedding planner was. Then after the wedding, my friends asked what her company name was so they could spread the word about how awful Sumeta is with organization, communication, and direction. She fotgot so many important pieces, but here are a few:
1. Rose pins to be given to all the men during the wedding: I realized they were not given out before the ceremony so I reminded her assistant and asked to distribute them for the reception. They forgot AGAIN so 70 pins with fresh flowers were wasted.
2. Garlands for the groom's vidhi: she told us they were not in the cooler but we later found 3 of the garlands we needed in the cooler ourselves.
3. She did not take me to my first look because she was getting ready herself so my sister and I had to figure out how to get there without guests seeing me.
4. One of her assistants who was tasked with guiding/coordinating the baraat spent the entire time dancing away instead of doing any of his responsibilities. Towards the end of the baraat there was no guidance where people should be so the DJ drove away before my family could join in.
5. The entrance table for the wedding was on the side where guests are supposed to exit, so while I was getting ready to enter myself I noticed the placement was wrong so I told one of her assistants to move it.
6. For the vidhai (goodbye ceremony), she was supposed to bring the horse and carriage to the front after we had lunch (which her team also forgot to put together for us) but the horse and carriage was nowhere to be found so my husband had to go find it.
7. I had a guest ask her where the bride's side was sitting during the wedding, she said she did not know and went to ask my sister which side our family was on.
8. My hair and make-up artist asked me who my wedding planner was and then continued to tell me how odd it was that she did not introduce herself or come to my room to check up on me.
9. My husband and I were literally moving around tables for the reception while guests were enjoying cocktail hour because they were arranged in an unusable format.
10. During our reception entrance, she opened the doors too soon for my sister's entrance and also MY entrance with my husband.
All of these points were discussed with her in so much detail that it is a shame she needed reminders.
Absolutely the best! Sumeta is so throurough, patient, and amazing to work with. She had so many great insights because of her experience working in the wedding industry. I cannot imagine planning my wedding without her. She really took the time to get to know both me and my husband. She worked amazingly well with my mom, who I wanted to be sure to be a part of the planning. I cannot say enough kind words about her and her team. She's truly the best.
