Ambar left me a nasty voicemail yesterday thinking she was trash talking me to my husband, but it was actually my phone. She is a nightmare to work with. Despite being the primary point of contact, they would not and will not spe...ak with me - only my husband.

If I could give One Stop Classics (“Simply Rent A Car” on Turo, also known as AAA Auto Leasing.) ZERO stars, I would. In my opinion, these are shady business people with absolutely abysmal communication skills. Brides and grooms, I recommend you use a different company.
1. They knew that I needed my husband to pick up and my wedding planner to drop off the car. They agreed to it. I paid, signed the Turo agreement, and confirmed with the company.
2. Ambar said I could have my husband and planner send their insurance/ID ahead of time to be confirmed. They sent their information 6/23/21
3. The day of the wedding, 6/26/21, there were 2 different addresses provided as to where to return the car. Ambar confirmed the correct location.
3. My husband arrived to pick up the car and they said they never received the insurance. It took them an hour to run the insurance again. He missed all of his getting ready photos.
4. They had him sign a contract and put a deposit down I knew nothing about. Despite being the primary point of contract, they did not call me/inform me/speak to me/ask me any questions. They threw my agreement with them out the window and formed an entirely new agreement with my husband.
5. Communication fell apart. My planner returned the car, they said they didn't return the car. They actually never told me if they found the car. They said the car was returned to the right address. They also said it was returned to the wrong address. They said the address was AND WAS NOT their location. It was insanity. The night of my wedding and in the weeks following, I endured gaslighting and belittlement. 5. Ambar refused to give me the contract/an invoice. She said "she sent it" multiple times, yet she did not. She refused to tell me if we got our security deposit back. She called us irresponsible on the internet. She claimed I was harassing her when I was asking for the contract once every week or two (again, see transcript in the full review https://imgur.com/a/KcddgYk)
6. Save yourself the headache! They do not honor their agreements. They say they were "making an exception" for us but caused undue heartache and stress the day of our wedding and in the months following.
7. Apparently the planner parked the car in the wrong spot. How would I know that? We paid two fees to rectify the error and yet I have been ignored, mocked, and blocked by Ambar. Ali has called my husband repeatedly this week. This is all so exhausting.
I did not write this review until 8/16 because I would have loved to have this conversation in private. I tried and tried to get a contract/invoice/receive information regarding the security depoisit. However, time and time again, Ambar has refused to speak with me and actually blocked my phone number and asked to speak with my husband. ???
