Only the Best Sound Mobile DJ and Lighting

Couldn't have possibly been better!! Ryan took the helm of the ceremony and party from start to finish, and we worried about NOTHING. We felt he really tailored the experience to who we are and how we wanted the day to look and it even seemed like he was having fun too :). Super happy also with communication from Steve, and planning tools were easy to use. All round, superb.

We loved working with Steve and would highly recommend. He was easy to work with and he let us have a lot of flexibility which was important to us. Everything ran smoothly and we had so much fun!

This was such a great decision. It was nice to have someone to guide the ceremony, which took a lot of pressure off and allowed us to enjoy the day. Our guests really enjoyed the photo booth.

Steven at OTB is actually THE BEST. He was soo easy to work with and very responsive. When our original wedding venue burned down in the Opal Creek fires, and we had to scramble to find a new wedding location last minute, Steven was extremely understanding and offered any help we needed. We were also planning an Oregon wedding while living in Kentucky. Steven even scouted out the new location to ensure he would be able to get all of his equipment there with ease. The ceremony and reception were done to perfection. Everyone could hear the vows and our officiant during the ceremony, he played all of the music we asked, and our guests absolutely loved the photo booth and putting in music requests during the ceremony!

My wife and I had the best experience with Only The Best Sound Mobile DJ & Lighting/Photo booth with Ryan for our wedding! Seriously, words fail to capture Ryan's professionalism and ability to edit and coordinate our pre-determined music choices both during the ceremony and reception. We even had some curve balls thrown in there for good measure, which Ryan navigated perfectly! My wife and I couldn't have imagined a more streamlined and coordinated musical experience. Additionally, having a DJ for your wedding provides so much more than just music. Without question, having Ryan there to help direct people, manage use of the microphone, time the transitions and provide additional direction was worth the price alone. However, included in the more-than-reasonable rate was also the use of a photo booth as well. Admittedly, I was a bit hesitant to include it in our wedding but I couldn't have been more wrong. It was an absolute hit with EVERYONE and the pictures provided capture the laughter and fun of all of our guests! I cannot recommend the father-son team of Steve and Ryan enough! They made it both a stress-free and hands-off experience, which our guests thought was the most streamlined and beautiful wedding they've ever attended. Thank you Ryan and Steve!

Planning a wedding isn't easy, and for some reason I really struggled trying to find a DJ I connected with that I felt would do a good job, let alone had confidence in. I called Only the best sound after talking to countless DJ's and was left disappointed, until I spoke to Steve. Early on in our conversation I was so impressed, with his knowledge, how easy they make the process, what they have to offer and that it was a family run business. Steve who is the owner, actually does this full time, which isn't the typical for DJ's and was really nice as someone available in the office to help you with questions, etc. at all times. Ryan, was our DJ for our wedding and I couldn't have been happier. He was professional, on time, did a great job engaging the crowd, MC'ing, communicating to my husband and I to ensure we stayed on time etc. We also are big country people and he did an awesome job making sure we had country music primarily but with some good mix ins for others. We also had a photobooth, which was super easy to use, and everyone loved it and found it so fun! Working with them was easy and seamless, they have a great online tool for planning and I forgot to mention, they have AMAZING ideas and touches to make things extra special during your big day. I have not heard any other DJ do or suggest the things they did, and everyone was so impressed. Obviously, I won't say what because I don't want someone to steal their idea, but it truly was so special and memorable. I couldn't be happier with Only the Best Sound and highly recommend them! It was a great effortless experience from start to finish!!

Steven Jr was our wedding DJ. We were thrilled with how his professionalism perfectly mixed with his great sense of fun. Multiple guests have commented that this was the most fun wedding they have been to — and the party atmosphere that Steven Jr helped sustain is a big part of that. He was helpful from the moment he showed up (including the rehearsal the night before), stayed light on his feet, and helped the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception events unfold as planned, and kept people dancing all night long. One of our favorite memories from the whole day was the final dance of the reception, where Steven Jr was able to get every single guest without exception out onto the dance floor.

We could not have picked a better DJ for our wedding! We planned everything with Steve, the owner, and it was his son Ryan who DJ’d our wedding. Steve had so many ideas for how to take traditional aspects of a wedding and make it more fun and special to us which I really appreciated. We had a first time officiant and both Ryan and Steve were great in working with him and giving him advice. The music was great, people danced all night long and everyone loved the photo booth! Our wedding day was amazing and a huge part of that was our amazing DJ.

Cant say enough good things about Steve and his team. My wedding was so memorable and I was ecstatic that so many people were out on the dance floor. I even got to go out and dance quite a bit and our dj played really good music tailored to my tastes. The process of music planning was so easy and Steve had wonderful ideas for special things to add to my reception. A+++ the photo booth was a fun touch for all ages! we have been enjoying looking through all the digital copies of the photos :)

I would LOVE to give Steve and co more stars. They are were so easy to work with, and the photo booth was perfection. Steve was able to put a mix together for the song I wanted to walk down the aisle to, which was Awesome. We did have some mic and sound issues during the ceremony and reception though, which is what brings the rating down. I hope they can get the issues squared away for other folks, because they really are a joy to work with.

Only the Beat Sound MADE our wedding! The Only the Best Sound team made our wedding a BLAST! They played all our pre-requested music and read the crowd to keep the party going until the very end! They MCd perfectly, and we received countless compliments on our music quality and photo booth. I would recommend this team to ANYONE looking to dance the night away!

Steve was an absolutely amazing DJ and really knows his stuff. He was enjoyable to work with and we received several compliments from our guests. Nice work Steve! Hands down would recommend him to anyone! 6 stars for you sir!

Steve was a hit! He worked with special requests and allowed for a father/daughter song instead of a dance. And let me just tell you how much everyone LOVED the photobooth! Printed postcards were the perfect touch. Thank you Only The Best Sound for making my day perfect!

Steve was absolutely great and the photobooth was exactly what we wanted! He was responsive and great to work with throughout the whole process. I highly recommend him, and you can't go wrong hiring him.

My first experience with Only The Best Sound Mobile DJ and Lighting/Photobooth was at my best friends wedding and Steve and his staff absolutely rocked it! There was at least 180 people there and he maintained the photobooth to perfection and kept the audience laughing and entertained with his DJ skills. The lighting was absolutely beautiful. Then, my wedding came a year later and I immediately contacted Steve. Steve drove all the way out to Hood River, OR during a winter weather advisory to be part of my wedding. My husband and I are forever grateful and can't recommend his services enough. His prices and professionalism blow the other competition away. Thank you sooooo much!

Steve worked with us and was very flexible finding specific songs that were very important to us during the ceremony. He was kind and professional, and worked with the crowd well. There photo booth was an instant hit all night and everyone loved the music. Such a great value!

I was disappointed that Steve did not do our wedding but the DJ to help out did a great job. The music was right he was interactive and everything was perfect. The photobooth was a hit!

Used OTBS for a photobooth service and we Loved Steve Jr.! He was so awesome with our guests and also did an amazing job making sure they knew our guests used their pictures in our scrapbook/guestbook!

I have to say I was told so many great things about this DJ, however, I wasn't that impressed. After multiple meetings, the week of our wedding, we were told Steve wouldn't be DJing our day, his son would be. We weren't asked if this was okay, just told offhand that this would be happening. As a bride, the week of a wedding is not the best time to throw in major changes. We were then approached multiple times through the reception with questions, something I felt was a bit inappropriate. I would still suggest Only The Best, but I would stress that you want Steve to run the show.
