I recently had the pleasure of working at the Opal Key Resort and Marina. From the start the breathtaking views really give you that perfect Key West feel. Upon arriving the staff ...
was extremely helpful with coordination, in particular the venue coordinator Allison was amazing to work with. She was extremely helpful with any questions or needs leading up to the big day, and then during the wedding itself she went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that all vendors had everything they needed to make the brides and grooms big day perfect! Couldn’t recommend this venue or Allison more, and very much look forward to celebrating here again with future brides and grooms !
Our wedding, at The Margaritaville Resort and Marina on April 9, 2017, was more beautiful and fun than we could have ever imagined. Our friends and family loved it so much that w...
e want to try to return every year! All of the credit belongs to Jennifer Levering, Emily Sipe, and Erin Leon. Though the ownership has changed recently, they are absolutely the core of the flawless planning and coordination of our wedding. Everything from the accomodations, to the food was fabulous! This wedding experience was like no other we have ever been to, and to think it was our own is like a dream. Jennifer, Emily and Erin were incredibly kind, professional and extremely easy and responsive to work with. In fact, one of the main reasons we picked the venue in the first place was due to not only the location, but because they immediately responded to all of our emails and calls. When you plan a destination wedding, that relationship and trust was so important. As a couple who works in the customer service industry, we have a great deal of respect for the amount of professionalism and dedication it took for the team at Margaritaville to make it such a lovely and amazing experience for us and our guests. We are truly grateful that OUR wedding was the time of our lives. Thank you so much!!!
Some of our guests for our destination wedding stayed at this hotel. The location was less idea, not as close to Duval street, but none of the guests seemed to mind.
Beautiful location right on the pier with fantastic sunsets .
This was such a pretty location. The view and pictures are unparalleled. Jessica was our Westin Coordinator and she was great and fielding questions and making suggestions. The ...
westin is pricey, but depending on what you are going for, I found it worth it.
The wedding was wonderful, and I wouldn't change a thing. I would select the Westin again for sure. But the planning process was bumpier than I would have expected based on Westin...
's commitment to service. We didn't feel that we were well informed about the decisions we had to make and the timelines to make them. We had a number of last-minute surprises, and found it hard to get the attention of our contact to help us understand the details.
We chose to have our reception on the pier because the sun sets directly in front of the reception area and it has a spectacular view. The food was wonderful but the only negative ...
feedback we got from our guests was that throughout the night their food and drinks were taken away before they were finished.
They are wonderful in every aspect. From the meals to the service at the hotel and the icing on the cake was the wedding which was very well planned. It is worth the money.. I hi...
ghly recommend this hotel
The Westin was a great place to get married. It has the perfect location for Key West! The catering manager (Erin) is awesome and handles every detail. My complaints are as follows...
: the food was cold and the fish entree was mushy when served. They overcharged for the bridal suite and my parents room and are not returning phone calls or emails.
Location right on the water off Duval street and the square in Key West. very classy and intimate
The food and drinks were wonderful and the Truman Ballroom is lovely. Just outside the ballroom is the cocktail area which has doors opening to a verandah, so people can go outsid...
e to enjoy the view or smoke, etc. The staff was very courteous and helpful. We met some of the people who prepared our meal on Duval St. and they started on Wednesday making food for our wedding on Saturday!;It was a bit too warm until near the end of the reception, when they opened some other doors and it got cooler.
