We started our contract working with Annie, Priscilla's assistant - which we still highly recommend. Once she left the company and Priscilla took over our wedding planning, things took an awful turn. Unfortunately, Priscilla does not look at us or any of Annie's old clients as a priority. We are less than 4 months out with several vendors left to find/book and details to nail down. She hasn't even responded to our email letting her know we will no longer be requiring our services that I sent 2 weeks ago. Event planners are suppose to take away the stress for the bride and groom but Priscilla added it. Her price tag is not cheap, I recommend saving your time and money by finding someone who cares about you.
We were not happy with services at all. We were assigned a coordinator who left the business and when we asked for a new one, our questions and requests for information were ignored for two months. According to Priscilla, a day of coordinator should not need to give their attention to the Bride until closer to the day of despite her contract specifically stating unlimited communication concerning the wedding and it's details. Buyer beware.
Everything the day of looked beautiful, but Priscilla completely lost our confidence and did not put us at ease leading up to the big day. We hired her as a day-of coordinator. I had to reach out schedule the two-month-out meeting. In the agreement, that meeting is where you create the floor plan, itinerary, and other logistics. Because we had been told that the coordinator would schedule the meeting, we let it go too long and ended up having to plan the floor plan and many of the logistics ourselves. My fiance and I made sure we were both home for work and waiting for her call within the scheduled time. 1.5 hours later I sent her an email to ask if she was still planning to meet with us. She responded (2 hours later) that she was still in a meeting and had hoped on having a slight break to call us. When we rescheduled the meeting she was still late calling and ended up having to rush since she had a rehearsal to go to. She said she would email me what we had completed and we could finish filling it in later. A week later (June 9) we still had not received the document so I emailed to ask for it. She replied on June 12th that she would get it to me asap. On June 23rd she still hadn't sent it and I emailed her again to ask for it. She emailed it the next day but did not apologize or explain why it took so long to complete. Many of the details in the timeline were not what we had discussed and I spent a long time working through it and detailing each item that needed to be changed. I also included that I was disappointed and frustrated that it took over 20 days to get the timeline after discussing it. She didn't apologize or make all of the changed listed and I had to email her two more times to adjust things I had included in the original email. She was over an hour late to the wedding, but fantastic with set-up. Everything looked beautiful, but she was such a major cause of stress leading up to the wedding that I would not recommend her.
Priscilla, and her team are amazing! They were so kind to my family on my wedding day and everything went so smooth. I got so many compliments on the coordination of everything. I wouldn't hestitate to hire her again! She so sweet and nice to work with!
Priscilla was amazing! She did full service coordination for my wedding and I could not have asked for a better planner. Everything went perfect and Priscilla helped a lot with my design concept as well as organization. Definitely recommend to someone getting married!

We absolutely loved having Jessica to help coordinate our wedding!!!! We had met with Priscilla first and loved her, so we booked Orangerie. Even when there were some issues in the beginning with finding a coordinator that was available for our wedding, it worked out great in the end. Jessica was so helpful, responsive, and willing to do whatever we needed the day of the wedding to make sure it flowed well. My husband and I didn't need to worry about a thing and trusted that she and her assistant would get it done. She worked her butt off all day and we really appreciate it! Priscilla and all the Orangerie staff were great throughout the whole planning process, even with just the day-of service. Would definitely recommend saving some of your wedding budget to get a day-of coordinator, especially if you are doing a wedding with multiple venues for ceremony and reception! It was definintely worth it and Orangerie was fantastic and affordable!
My son, his fiance and I met with Priscilla and really liked her enthusiasm and energy and decided to go with her for design planning and day-of coordination. She met with us at the venue and spent over an hour walking around the wedding and reception site and listening to our ideas. My son's fiance asked for DJ recommendations. She said she would send us ideas for design as well as DJ recs within 2 weeks.
Three weeks after the venue visit, after additional follow-up, she said that a family member had been ill, and she would contact us with answers to our questions within 24 hours, but she did not. Our caterer had had a similar situation requiring a tasting cancellation. We completely understood, and he kept in touch with us to work out when we could reschedule. I followed up twice with Priscilla over a 10-day period, and both times she still didn't have design ideas.
All of this was especially frustrating in that we had told her that the bride's mother was having her only visit to our area during a particular week in December. We wanted to decide on a design prior to that visit, so we could take the bride's mother to visit rental and flower vendors to help make decisions. When I reminded her of the visit, Priscilla offered to go to the vendors that week -- but since we had no design ideas, it made no sense to go, as we didn't know where to begin with making decisions with a vendor.
We sent a few follow-up emails over the course of about 2 weeks in December -- requesting a timeline from her, if she wasn't able to provide design ideas yet -- with no response. Two months since our initial meeting, we still had nothing concrete. My son terminated the contract, and she kept part of the deposit.
Subsequently we interviewed several other wedding planners. One of the others we interviewed required a very large, nonrefundable deposit, which made me quite nervous after this experience. That planner offered to put me in touch with one of her clients, who also had had a bad experience with a planner and was hesitant to commit to contract with such a large deposit. I emailed with this client, and it turned out her bad experience was also with Priscilla, who disappeared on her a month before her wedding.
My wedding day was complete when I booked Orangerie Events to be my Day of coordinator! Priscilla and her team worked non-stop on our Wedding day. I wanted to plan my own wedding, but I wanted to be able to sit back, and relax and enjoy the day and be a guest at my own wedding.
From the moment I met Priscilla in her adorable office, I knew she was the perfect match for my creative, over planning, and detail specific self. She executed the set up of all of the vendors (over 20) with ease, and attention to detail. Which was not a small feat as each space ceremony, cocktail, dinner, and reception tent had a different linen and arrangement.
She ran the rehearsal with authority, and also was approachable for questions from the many people involved in the ceremony.
Most importantly she understood the vision of my wedding as well as I did, which made handing off all the plans to her seamless. She was also responsive via email if I was looking for a specific vendor or had a question about finding the perfect mint julep glass in the triangle to our ceremony back drop.
I changed my 1920's head pieces throughout the wedding event and she was right there to help me change at the specific times requested with a smile. She ushered guests from ceremony, to dinner, to reception with ease and kept the timeline on track throughout the event.
I would recommend anyone to use Priscilla as a day of coordinator or as a full coordinator due to her ability to see and stage my vision of my wedding perfectly.
I strongly recommend Orangerie Events for all your day-of coordination needs. Nicole, our coordinator, was responsive and very enthusiastic during the planning portion of things, and was completely on top of things day-of. We DIY'd heavily, and relied on Nicole to run the music, announce events, and bring out/stock the food, in addition to the normal setup and breakdown duties. She did it all and kept everything running smoothly and on time. She was a joy to work with, and will be a valuable asset to your wedding's planning and execution!
Priscilla went above and beyond to make my dreams come true. She traveled all the way to Dobson to style my farm chic wedding and did an amazing job from start to finish. She's an artist in her own right, and there is no one else like her. She kept me calm, kept everything organized, and was in 1,000 places at once. She made herself available to me during the entire planning process, whether via text, email, or phone call. Her attention to detail was spot on, blowing me away with her precision and professionalism. My wedding would have happened without her, sure. But it would have NEVER even come close to being the amazing affair it was without Orangerie!
I used Orangerie events for my wedding this past month. They were amazing! I used them just for day of; they made sure I didn't worry about a thing! Priscilla, Claire & Crew were amazing! Thank you for making our day the best day ever!
Seriously, five stars are not enough for this amazing company! Priscilla Erwin is WONDERFUL! Literally a ray of sunshine from the moment I met her! She was super easy to work with, very flexible when it came to scheduling meetings, very responsive, and a great wealth of wedding knowledge. I can't tell you how many times I emailed her freaking out about some insignificant detail (which of course was very significant at the time to a stressed out bride) but she was always quick to get back with me and ease my mind. She has done so many weddings and has such great experience that you really will not find anyone better to help you coordinate your wedding. I cannot say enough about how wonderful my experience was and there are not enough positive adjectives in this world to describe Priscilla.
Overall, Priscilla at Orangerie Events was fantastic to work with for my wedding and reception! I hired Priscilla for some wedding planning assistance as well as day-of coordination; her rate was very reasonable. Priscilla recommended a number of our vendors for a Hindu wedding and ceremony, including a dhol (drum) player and a sitar player, both of whom were huge hits for our guests. Priscilla kept me extremely calm on the big day, despite our venue's catering manager being MIA at the last minute, and took care of a number of other details our venue dropped the ball on. Without her, my family and I would have been scrambling the day of to ensure proper execution. Priscilla also set-up and took-down all of our decorations and did a stellar job executing my vision. I was very fortunate to have hired Priscilla for our wedding and I would recommend her to any bride, but I would highly recommend her to anyone planning a Hindu wedding!
I contracted with Priscilla for day-of coordination for our Oct. 26, 2013 wedding in the NC mountains. Just to summarize how great of a job she did, we thanked her during dinner and everyone in the tent started applauding. She and her assistant handled everything, from building a fire in the fire pit outside to coordinating the caterers when they got off track, and everything in between. I actually relaxed a little too much while getting ready, because I completely forgot to tell her about the corsages for the mom and grandmother! (My fault, not hers). She even stopped on the way to the wedding and picked up a propane tank when I texted her that ours was out and the tent may not have any heat!
Everyone at the wedding commented on how hard Priscilla and her assistant worked that day. Because of her, I literally didn't have to worry about a thing. And she made small adjustments here and there that made things better, like rearranging the lettering on our guest book. I couldn't have done it without her, and I've already recommended her to a friend getting married in 2015! Thanks so much Priscilla! Incredible job!!!
We did the “Just a Taste” “ Day of Coordination” package with Orangerie. However, Priscilla helped me via email much much more than just the day of. She was so responsive to my emails and was always more than willing to answer my questions. With all of my bridesmaids and mom out of state, poor Priscilla had to deal with a lot of my planning questions via email. I had a hard time at first justifying hiring a coordinator, but it may have been one of the smartest things I did for the whole wedding. Priscilla totally offset her costs by suggesting an amazing caterer within my price range...prior to hiring Priscilla I was unbelievably frustrated in finding someone who could provide the menu we wanted and at the price we wanted. She also saved me money in finding me a DJ that was affordable and who did a great job at our wedding. She made a site visit with me and our caterer to ensure things would be just how I wanted them for the day of the wedding. My only disappointment was that I didn’t get to actually have Priscilla at my wedding. When I hired Orangerie, I knew that Priscilla had another wedding the day of mine, so I got two other staff from Orangerie. Hope and Meredith were great, they set up my decor wonderfully and kept us on our timeline, but I wish I had met them once before our rehearsal. There were a couple of little things that weren’t quite like I had expected-like the first two rows of ceremony chairs were empty because they didn’t talk to the groomsmen about sitting family there, that just looked really weird and our unity candle was lit before we did the ceremony (my groom and I will always be able to laugh at that). Those are very little things....I did get to speak to them once on the phone the week of the wedding. I guess I got so used to contacting Priscilla that I didn’t think about how important it would be to get to know the people who would actually be at my wedding as well. Overall Orangerie did a wonderful job and Priscilla helped me incredibly throughout the whole process...love her!
If you care about yourself at all, please book Priscilla! She was born to plan weddings and that she does! From the moment I met her at a bridal show, I knew I HAD to work with her in some capacity! I had an idea of what I thought our reception could look like...with her fabulous ideas, our reception was transformed into something amazing! I never would have thought about all of the details she touched on and I'm so type-A, it's crazy! Priscilla made our day so amazing and I'm forever grateful! She's the best!
Priscilla and her staff are amazing. They oversee every beautiful detail of your wedding with precision and expertise. Orangerie Events gave me comfort on the day of my wedding to know that everything was in perfect, capable hands!
Priscilla is amazing! We hired her for weekend coordination but she went above and beyond to help me out with some vendor references and suggestions during our engagement. She is incredibly sweet, organized, and to the point. We were running thirty minutes late for our rehearsal. Once everyone got there, we were done within about 15 minutes! Everyone had said how they have never been involved with a wedding that was run so smoothly. During our wedding day, she took care of every little detail so my mom and I wouldn't have added stress. I would highly, highly recommend Priscilla and Orangerie Events. My wedding day would not have been the same without her.
Working with Priscilla was so wonderful. She is so good at what she does, and she was there for me every step of the way! I had complete confidence in her the day we met for our first meeting. She took a lot of interest in my vision and ideas for my wedding. She worked really hard to make sure everything went according to plan and really came through for me when I needed her. I would recommend her to anyone. Thanks Priscilla!!!
Priscilla is wonderful. Attentive, easy-going, and flexible, always with a smile but ready to handle any emergency. We loved working with her, and every part of the wedding she touched ran like clockwork. Thanks so much to Priscilla to making our big day absolutely perfect.

Priscilla was fantastic. I would not have made it through the wedding planning experience without her. I had the "little more zest" package which was perfect. She recommended excelent vendors and took care of all the details. She is a miracle worker. My husband wasn't thrilled about us spending money for a wedding planner but after everything was over he agreed that she was the best investment. Everyone who was involved with the wedding was thrilled with her. She kept everyone organized and made sure the whole event went smoothly.
