Orchard Valley Golf Course

We had my daughter’s wedding at Orchard Valley on Oct 19, 2019. All was going well until they called us a few days before and said they had just booked a large party for the night before and we needed to change our rehearsal. This was just the beginning of our problems with Orchard Valley. This party stayed until 4 AM and drank all the top shelf bourbon. This was something specifically requested. The place was a mess when we arrived to set up at 10 AM, they did not have any top shelf alcohol that we paid for or even basic bar mixers or soda. Most of the staff did not show up since they worked so late the night before. We had 2 servers that worked our wedding, one was Sarah and this is not her job. Bartender was MIA some of the night and guests were making their own drinks. The restrooms were disgusting and obviously not cleaned from the night before nor was the room for the Bride to get ready. The food was ice cold when arrived to the head table and the other guests food was like shoe leather. My guests were actually eating the children’s food because that we better than the adults. I did speak with Alex and he said he would be fair and compensate us for the all the issues. He did refund us for the difference between in bar packages but this did not make up for lack the service, horrible food and embarrassment that we felt. Seriously? You plan a wedding for months and you expect the venue to deliver what they promise. I believe they saw an opportunity to make money and the fact that we booked months ago did not matter. They should have realized they did not have the inventory to support 2 large parties that weekend. They had all day Saturday to purchase more alcohol, mixers, soda, straws etc and choose not to. I would use extreme caution if you are looking to book here.
