wedding venue during the night. The event manager detailed everything I needed to know as far as getting vendors and decorations as well as the do’s and dont’s of the establishment. Molly and Julia’s communication was top tier and they were just so lovely to work with. At first I was a little uneasy about their restricted list of preferred vendors, but I easily see why they have that requirement. The vendors they recommend are so progressional and top tier, they really work together extremely organized and seamlessly so they ensure there are no hiccups during the event. I absolutely appreciate everyone’s level or professionalism and eye to detail to ensure the wedding ran smoothly. The entire night was so stress free, they took care of everything so us and the guests only had to worry about having a good time. Not to mention, the venue naturally has a beautiful ambiance that made for a warm and comfortable reception. I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone.

tire 4th floor was ours for the evening: the Terrace for wedding, Our Planet for cocktails and Dino Digs for the reception. And the Sky Bridge for our send off. Everyone was in awe when they walked into Dino Digs seeing the dinosaurs in a romantic setting with up lighting, candles, music, etc. It was way beyond what we imagined and hoped for. At the end of the evening, we said farewell to our guests on the walkover with lighted party sticks. Living in Hawaii while planning a wedding was challenging, but from the beginning of our search in 2022 Director Helen gave us a great tour that sealed the deal. We were then assigned to our Coordinator Molly. She stepped in and always answered all our questions and concerns over the several months before the wedding. Alex, our Month/Day of Coordinator was just super fun, creative, and made sure we had everything we needed. From helping with the setup to breaking it down the staff was very helpful and attentive. If any problems developed through the evening, we surely didn't know about it. Orlando Science Center offers two great Unveils with vendors twice a year which makes it very convenient to touch base with your vendors. If you want a unique wedding setting, you must check out this venue. And believe it or not the price was very affordable. Memories were made that night thanks to the Orlando Science Center.

asy, and the venue is gorgeous! All of our guests were amazed at how a science museum could be transformed into a very special wedding venue. We were able to use the entire 4th floor, both inside and out. And they do have get -ready rooms for both bride and groom, making it very convenient for all. The vendors they recommended were top-notch! I recommend going to one of their Unveil Wedding Showcases. That's when you can see how it transforms into an event venue and meet with many of their vendors. Very affordable option too! You can bring your own decor, and they set it up for you if you want. They do also offer animal encounters during cocktail hour, which is unique. You should consider this venue if you want something that your guests will talk about for years!

veryone told us it was the best wedding venue they had ever been to. We agree. The organization and communication via emails with our coordinators was perfect. Our day-of coordinator Danielle, made our day run so smoothly and perfectly. She had every question answered before I even asked it. She set up our reception space so beautifully it was even more perfect than I had imagined it.

enter and their wonderful staff. We had the best night of our lives and had the most fun and beautiful wedding we could have ever hoped for. The staff at the science center is very responsive to emails/calls. They answer questions thoroughly and offer different options for customization. For the wedding you have access to the fourth floor: there is a terrace outside, the our planet room (full of exhibits to interact with), and the Dino digs room. They also offer a beautiful sky bridge with different color crystals hanging from the ceiling to do your exit on. They offer options for different dance floor colors and sizes. They also have chairs and tables that you can utilize for your ceremony or reception. The main help in the planning process was the list of preferred vendors. The science center has worked with the vendors on the list many times and it helps your wedding run super smoothly and if anything went wrong on my wedding day I was certainly unaware and didn’t notice any mistakes. If you are thinking about the science center they also have a wedding expo twice a year called Unveil. I would highly recommend going just to meet vendors and see the space. They also have a brochure that you can access online with different pictures from previous weddings and all the info you need for planning. The science center provides a month of coordinator to help with any questions or setup issues you might run into. We needed a couple easels and tables for welcome gifts/signs and they provided everything we needed. The coordinator worked with my wedding planner to help with any issues we might have run into. Overall the process was super smooth and we had such a great wedding. It was so much fun and looked amazing. I HIGHLY recommend the science center for your wedding (or any special event really). They are professional and (as they will tell you) quite literally have their weddings down to a science. I planned my wedding in about 7 months and it was pretty stress free and I had THE BEST wedding. Thank you so much to the science center and staff for helping make our wedding the best freaking day of our lives!!!

only issue we had with the whole event was that the wind would not allow for our table decorations! Please reach out to them and attend an Unveiled event, that is where we found our wedding cake that everyone loved!

wedding from out of town, but the OSC team was very flexible, responsive, and easy to work with. They were also willing to let us periodically visit the museum to help visualize decor and table placement. Their detailed planning questionnaire was very helpful in addition to the AllSeated diagram, which enabled us to further visualize the room setup prior to the day of the event. We received numerous compliments from our guests related to the uniqueness of the venue! We loved that we had three unique areas at the venue reserved for our event (ceremony in Our Planet, cocktail our in the Rotunda and beautiful Terrace overlooking Orlando, and reception in Dino Digs). A few of our friends said it was the most kid friendly wedding ever since there were plenty of things around to keep the kiddos entertained! We loved OSC as our wedding venue and if we had to do it all over again, we would definitely choose them every time!

We unfortunately had to deal with Hurricane Ian during our wedding week but our coordinators at OSC helped calm my fears and assured us that our wedding would happen...and it sure did! Special shoutout to Molly and Laura, who worked with my husband and I throughout the entire planning process, but especially Molly. Because of the hurricane, we did not get the chance to do a rehearsal but she made sure we all knew what to do, where to go, and when. She completely knocked it out of the park!! Even with décor drop off happening a mere 3 hours before wedding start time, she got everything set up and beautiful for us. We couldn't have asked for a better team with Molly leading the way! OSC is such a unique venue and our guests are still gushing about how much fun it was to be there. We would get married here year after year! We had our ceremony on The Terrace which was absolutely stunning; cocktail hour was in Our Planet, where we and our guests got to mingle and have fun with the science exhibits; and of course, our reception, Dino Digs...coolest reception ever! How many weddings have you gone to where you get to dance around dinosaur fossils all night? My guess would be none, except for my guests now ;) We did our grand exit on the Love Bridge with bubbles, sneak peak of pictures from our photographer show that it looked absolutely magical. For the couple looking to wow your guests, this venue is it. No doubt about it. Every detail is taken care of and rest assured, you will be in good hands with the event team here. took photos in Loch Haven park, and then partied it up in the Dino room. As part of the venue, you work with a day-of coordinator and ours was fabulous! Alex kept us on track and organized, ensured every detail was how we wanted, and really made sure we had the best day ever--which we really, really did. We were commenting that we can't wait to bring our future kids back someday and relive our special wedding day :)

being our cheapest option and it’s a great venue if you’re having a kid-friendly wedding! We did not have to provide additional things for the kids because it was all there. We absolutely loved having our wedding there and if I could do it again, I would!!

ge area! You can't even imagine the transformation from kid friendly museum to wedding venue. The staff was excellent and super friendly. You do have to pay to rent your floor and there is a added delivery fee not mentioned in the pamphlet (this is an obvious charge but one I did not think about). All in all great experience and the staff was incredible.

tail hour inside due to windy weather, which was a great call. Everyone loved the dinosaurs and the sign we put in the T-rex's mouth. The staff was supportive and the venue was fun and interactive for our 90 guests. Many said it was the BEST wedding and venue they’ve ever been to!

Leading up to the wedding if we had a question we could always reach out and received timely responses. What they did even more exceptionally well was being supportive, kind, and helpful on the day of the wedding. They provided guidance during ceremony, nail glue when the unexpected occurred, and were patient as our guests exited at 12:00 AM.

best vendors in the Orlando area ended in tears, frustration and unfortunately not the memories of the wedding of their dreams that my daughter and her fiance had planned. 5 months prior to their wedding the couple were informed that terrace wedding start times were being moved from 6 to 5pm and ending at 10pm due to sound issues and the surrounding area, mind you the wedding invitations had already been printed, the happy couple agreed to the change because their vision had been an urban roof top vibe and the Museum agreed to reimburse them for the cost of reprinting the invitations. From the time the contract was signed until the day of the wedding the happy couple were in contact with the event staff at the museum. On the day of the wedding upon our arrival we were a little concerned due to the number of patrons who were still in the wedding ceremony space. As we moved into the cocktail hour I became alarmed again as we had contracted for the live animals visit during the cocktail hour as a special touch for our guest. After 20 minutes of searching for the animals I decided to hunt down our day of coordinator, Helen, who informed me that the animal handler had called in sick. She then stated that she did not want to upset my daughter by telling her this prior to the ceremony. My daughter is an event planner at one of the most exclusive country clubs in Orlando and I retired as the Recreation Superintendent for the most highly recognized Parks and Recreation Departments, our motto has always been "NO Surprises"!!! My attention next went to the flurry of activity on the terrace which is where the reception was scheduled. As the time ticked on, I became aware again of the delay with the DJ, this delay caused a 20 minute delay of the reception and the bridal party entrance. The Reception area was BEAUTIFUL!! Dinner, first dance and wedding toasts went off without a hitch. Guest were invited onto the dance floor and 5 minutes in the power to the DJ went out causing a 10 minute delay. Power was restored, 5 minutes in and the power goes out again. This continued over the next hour resulting in figure pointing between the DJ and the museum staff, my daughter losing it, and terse words between myself, the DJ and the museum staff. What was suppose to be their special night, filled with wonderful memories, will for a long time be remembered as the night the music stopped, and stopped and stopped. At about 9pm the museum staff offered to move the reception into the Dino room until 11pm adding an additional hour to the reception for time lost. They also refunded all funds associated with the venue rental as did the DJ for services provided. Long story short, it wasn't about the money, it was about the MEMORIES, which can NEVER BE REFUNDED or RECREATED! No one has yet taken responsibility for the events that occurred with my daughter's wedding, I guess their idea is to just throw money at the situation and hope that it just goes away. Anyone who decides to have your wedding on the terrace at the Science Museum of Orlando please ensure that adequate power is provided to the DJ in the new location and that enough time has been allocated from the time of the museum closing to the start of your wedding because the current schedule is not realistic

efore the wedding that there would be some problems. In December I got an email from Helen about having to change the time of the wedding due to noise complaints by near by residents… now we already had the invites printed and ready to be sent out but we had to delay this because clearly we had to do a reprint on the invites - after going back and forth with Helen they did pay for the reprints… with the moving up of the time for our wedding this clearly meant that the set up was goi g to be shorter for all vendors… HUGE red flag but I was assured that it would be all right. With the noise complaint from the neighbors of the science center they changed where the DJ was to be at… now this is where it gets fun and fingers get pointed… the breaker to where the DJ has his equipment running from keeps tripping. Music keeps getting shut off… I had one clear vision in mind and needless to say the wedding was not executed by the science center team or DJ. Helen even blamed the DJ saying she’s never seen the DJ and all other stuff inky to find out that in fact that DJ did a wedding there in October. I dug deep to find evidence. There still continues to be finger pointing and no one is taking responsibility for their part in the mess up of the wedding. Since the music kept tripping they did move us inside to the Dino room. 2 days after wedding Helen emails me saying she wants to talk about the wedding but I was too upset so I had my husband talk to her, the science center gave us some money back for the mishaps. In all don’t have a wedding there if you want to use the terrace. The time frame is AWFUL! I do parties and events for a living and I should have saw this but I was assured that everything would work out but it didn’t. Also make sure there is adequate staffing. People were running around to try and set things and again if it wasn’t for them moving up the time earlier this could have been avoided. It seems they care more about their neighbors then the couples that are getting married there. I now wake up weekly from sleep thinking about how my wedding was ruined and I will never be able to get the memories that I missed out on back as I had to keep talking to see how things could get fixed. Helen should be embarrassed for how this all went down and again her pointing fingers and not taking any responsibility is what’s sad. If you want the outside venue type please look for another venue as this won’t be it!

ts had a fantastic time at the wedding and my husband and I wouldn’t change a thing. Laura and her staff are incredibly kind people that just make your wedding go smoothly and according to plan. I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone. What a dream!

had a gorgeous ceremony on the terrace, then a fun and interactive cocktail hour in the Weather Room, followed by a huge room with HUGE dinosaurs to dance the night away. Helen and Laura were always a phone call away with any questions that I had. They made the whole process so stress free - so thank you so much ladies and the staff of OSC who helped make it the best night of our lives. I will be recommending the Orlando Science Center to anyone who asks because it was just that amazing!

t the entire process, and never let me feel that I was a bother. They were so flexible so with many things, I just couldn't believe how AMAZING our wedding turned out. It was truly a dream!!! From start the finish the process was truly easy. We changed our minds a few times, and they were always so accommodating every single time! Our guest had such an amazing time and many said it was the best wedding they've ever been to! We know that a few family members are trying to top it, but they won't be able to, because they don't have this venue. This venue is truly EVERYTHING!!!! It's not only unique, but it's STUNNING!!! The lights, the views, the photogenic, and the ambiance of it all just truly can't be beat!! I recommend the Science Center 10x's over!!! And I can't wait until we have kids and can bring them there!! That will truly be a special moment!!!

w a wrench in our 2020 plans, and we needed to find a new (responsible!) venue for our postponed celebration in 2021. Helen made it so easy and stress-free to book our space. Our wedding, on Halloween 2021, was absolutely perfect. Our guests were in love with the incredible details OSC allows for—like our gator guest at cocktail hour, custom T-Rex sign, and dress photo in the smaller dino’s mouth. Everyone had a great time playing with the AR dinosaurs and making the smaller dinosaur move and roar sporadically throughout the night—such a fun detail that was perfect for our Halloween theme! The photos are sheer perfection; everything truly looked remarkable. I can’t tell you how many of our guests told us afterwards that this was the coolest wedding they had ever been to, and OSC is definitely to thank for that praise! Could not have asked for a more perfect night at a more perfect venue.
