Our culinary team, led by Executive Chef, Larry Dann, take pride in creating award-winning culinary experiences that have made Orlando’s an integral part of the wedding industry for over 54 years. Our menus range from buffet style to plated dinners or Hors d’oeuvres stations. We can also customize menus to meet our couples' specific needs.

Orlando’s was such a breeze to work with! Laurie, Mike, and Jordan all helped me during the planning and setup process, and they were all wonderful! They were super patient and flexible as we rescheduled multiple times due to Covid and all of the restrictions. The ballroom was beautiful, they offered an incredible menu that our guests raved about, and the staff was helpful, courteous, and friendly. From tours to questions to linen selection and setup, everything was handled quickly and professionally. I cannot say enough good things, and would love to host future events with them as well!

We couldn't have asked for a better venue! The location on Dorsett has been beautifully remodeled, the common area rivaling the lobby of a posh hotel. The food was delicious. We chose the chicken spedini and the ham. Our staff the night of the event was very professional. Laurie Orlando and Maryellen are wonderful to work with. I felt Laurie was part of the family, helping us to plan our big day. Beautiful venue, delicious food, excellent service, all at an affordable price. I highly recommend Orlando's for your reception needs!

I had always heard great things about Orlando's when I was younger, so of course I looked into using them for our reception! When I wrote Laurie about pricing, she was very helpful and let me know that their South County location was a bit cheaper compared to their Maryland Heights location. I couldn't believe the price for the Deluxe menu package and all of the things that came with it! We knew right then that we wanted to have our reception there! Our wedding was on September 5th, 2015, and we had our reception in the David ballroom at the south county location. We had originally accounted for a guest list of 200, but 174 ended up being our final head count.
I worked with Laurie Orlando and Jim Helton. Both were super helpful along the entire process! We booked our reception over a year in advance, and Laurie answered every single one of my e-mails and questions within a day. She was always super nice and helpful, and trust me, I asked a ton of questions!
You meet 2 weeks before your event to go over last minute details, pick out your upgrades, and make your final payment. We got 3 upgrades with the deluxe package, and we chose to upgrade to the call brand bar, passed hors d'oeuvres, and the pretzel bites as a late night snack.
The food was unbelievable! Every one of our guests kept saying how great the food was! We had the prime rib, chicken spedini, roasted veggies, potatoes au gratin, and a pasta in red sauce. All was super good, and I wish I had gotten to eat more of it!!
Our guests kept telling us how great our reception was, and it really did turn out great! We were able to come in on the Thursday before our reception (on Saturday) to set up our escort cards, place cards, and centerpieces. It was really nice to be able to go in early and set everything up ourselves. They were always accommodating with any requests we had! From the beginning to the end, Orlandos was the perfect choice for our reception, and we will definitely be back to hold another event here in the future!!

We used the location on Hoffmeister and 55. They were super helpful, ensuring that everything went smoothly. At our first consultation, they gave us vendors that they work well with and the vendors were superb! They made sure we were on time with the wedding planning and the day of they ensured that everything went perfect!

Our reception at Orlando's was amazing. The food was delicious, and everyone that attended the wedding said that it was beautiful, and looked very classy. The price was a little high, but in the end it was worth it.

Our original reception venue closed before our wedding date, so we had to find somewhere new to go. The employees at Orlando's were VERY accommodating; they met our needs and helped to get everything organized. They even provided us with upgrades wherever possible. We were the only event scheduled for the weekend, so they upgraded us to the largest room for free so that we would have more room for our guests. The services before, during, and after the reception surpassed our expectations. The location is absolutely beautiful, and the food was delicious. All of our guests had a wonderful time, and we HIGHLY recommend Orlando's for any event.

Orlando's was the perfect choice for our reception location. We had a very small number of guests (well under 100) and they definitely were able to cater to that. The reception hall was set up beautifully and I can't say enough good things about the staff. Every single person who works there is incredibly nice and personable. The entire process from sitting down initially through the end of the reception, they were amazing. They made sure I knew exactly what was going to happen that day and even created a diagram for how the room would be set up.
Orlando's also provides you with some free upgrades with any bridal package you choose. You get an incredible amount for your money with Orlando's (including your wedding cake). They were affordable and very accommodating. My husband and I were very happy with everything.

We had considered Orlando's for our wedding reception, but did not end up choosing it. We were excited though to be invited to a friend's wedding recently here and see what were missing out on. After attending as a guest, I feel good about my decision not to hold our reception here. The staff was very professional, but certainly not the warm and fuzzy type. Very matter of fact and no smiles out of anyone.
The breaded chicken served was wet, chewy and I suspect, undercooked. Completely inedible. When someone at my table pointed out the chicken was not done, the host from the venue brought the chef to the table and he did not offer anything except to tell us the temperature it was measured at. Luckily, there were other food options served.
Make sure if using this venue for a ceremony and reception in different rooms, that the staff will have the reception room ready when the ceremony is over. We spent a lot of time out in the hallway. I don't think there were any other events going on, but can not imagine there being room for everyone out there if there had been.
I'm also not a fan of a tip jar a the bar. Gratuity should be included in the cost for the service.
On the plus side, this venue offers a lot of décor options in house and can provide a cake through one of their vendors. It's also very reasonably priced which is why we had considered it in the first place.

el compelled to explain a few things regarding your post.
The chicken you had was our Italian Chicken Spedini which is a very popular menu items of ours and that which was selected by the bride and groom based on a menu tasting for them. It is made with dark meat chicken, Italian breaded, baked and topped with a butter/garlic sauce and garnished with fresh lemon. You may have mistaken it for white meat chicken which is why there would be a pink color in the middle. Our chef came out and explained that to your table and also mentioned that the chicken was cooked to a safe temperature.
Regarding the ceremony and reception, the ceremony was set up to begin at about 5:45 or 6pm so after a 15 minute ceremony (we never know how long the ceremony will last) the guests would have less time to wait for the reception that was set to start at 6:30. The bride and groom that evening decided to start the ceremony earlier which threw off the whole timing. That was beyond our control.
Regarding the tip jar at the bar, we leave that up to the bride and groom to choose if they want a tip jar displayed. They chose to allow a tip jar that evening.

After getting my first venue cancelled two weeks before my wedding (gulp), Orlando's event centers stepped right in and made our wedding dreams come true! Jim was awesome to work with and made sure that every aspect of our reception was replicated to the last detail! We were able to book the venue at the last moment and weren't over charged or given outrageous plating prices. My guest were very happy with the food (especially the appetizers) and truly enjoyed the outstanding service that the staff provided. Thank you so much Orlando's and Jim for making our wedding day truly spectacular!

Cons: miscommunications over payment plan. Reception halls aren't generally the most beautiful places for a reception out there, but excellent for what it is. Not plain white walls or anything like that. Very pretty. Groom felt rushed during the reception. Food wasn't fabulous but definitely not bad at all.
Pros: Just renovated, nicely decorated. Open bar and centerpieces included in all packages. Very accommodating.

Laurie and Candee were the best people to work with. They calmed my nerves on more than one occasion while planning. Laurie even made sure to see us (bride & groom) before she left for the day, which required her to stay later. They were very accommodating. The food is AMAZING, hands down. I have never seen/heard SO many compliments about food for any event or wedding I have attended or knew about. Gorgeous venue too! Thank you Orlando's Dorsett for the memories and I look forward to hopefully working with you again in the future.

I booked my reception sight unseen last December and the Orlando family didn't let us down. The room was great, the décor was exactly as promised and the food was fantastic! Our room captain Chip, was there whenever I thought I needed him and even when I didn't. I would point out that they have a room that you can change in or to cool off. I changed into my reception dress there and some of my family even did a quick change to travel home. EVERYONE loved the space!!!

Orlando's was a Godsend to us. After we decided to sign up with them based on reviews we read elsewhere, we were so happy with the level of service they provided for us. They accommodated our requests and were very affordable...we did not want to have a wedding the broke the bank, and at Orlando's you do not have to. However, for what we paid, we got a beautiful ballroom to accomodate our 175 guests, and a few days before moved us into a nicer, bigger room because it was going to be unoccupied the night of our wedding.
The food was great! The private tasting was a great way for us to check out the food, and it was delicious. It was much better than what I would have expected for wedding food. Top notch.
Laurie Orlando was the best at getting back to us with any of our questions, and always had a cheery thing to say in her emails. I could not recommend Orlando's any more highly. We have other friends getting married soon, and we have already recommended it to them.

I am sure everyone at Orlando's is great because our event went so well and the food was amazing - BUT I worked directly with Denise and she, to me, is what made them exceptional. I am a very anxious person, especially when I'm doing something I've never done and she was so good to me. I didn't want to overwhelm her with silly questions and she made me feel like nothing I asked was silly and that no matter what she will be there to answer anything and be there to make the event go perfect. To me, that is what happened. I adore her as a person and a professional and I can't thank her enough for her help. She certainly represents Orlando's well.
In regards to the food and the service the day of - to me it was seamless and delicious. Everyone LOVED the grilled cheese and the quiche. I, unfortunately didn't get to enjoy it as much because I was too anxious to eat, but what I did have was very good.
Oh and I have to add, Denise made sure to put away some cake for us so we could have it for later. Thank goodness she did, because we didn't really get to have any that night. Thank you Orlando's and Denise for an awesome Wedding!

We booked our room sight unseen due to them reopening the Dorsett location after remodeling and we are very happy that we took that chance because everything was beautiful. The staff were great, our day of coordinator "Chip" was very helpful and we were please with just about everything. The three things that I was not very happy about with our experience is that we are not allowed to bring in our own chair covers or order them from another vendor. The vendor that they use is overpriced (we paid $600 for 150 guest). We had been making payments on our reception hall and at the finalization meeting we were told to pay $1800 more than we needed to pay. We paid it but were really upset because that blew our budget out of the ball park and we couldn't figure out how we could have miscalculated.She didn't really offer any explaination and just said that we needed to pay..since it was 2 weeks before the wedding we really didn't have any other options. I felt that she was rather cold throughout the entire experience until that day before our wedding. A few days later, the manager emailed us informing us of a computer error and offered to refund our over payment. We were relieved about that but the extra stress 2 weeks before your wedding really does not help. The final thing we didn't like was that there was not any wifi..or at least no one knew the passcode to get into the wifi and our dj needed to use it, so we had to hurry up and use a backup plan for our playlist.

I must admit that my wedding day was a blur, but Orlando's stood out for a number of reasons. They have beautiful facilities and the one on Dorsett that I had my reception at was amazing. Everything was clean and vibrant. The room was a good size for my wedding and they have other size rooms avalible as well.
The staff is friendly and ready to help whenever needed! I must admit that normally I don't like banquet style food, but I greatly enjoyed the menu that they had and was pleasantly surprised by how good everything tasted!

I used the Orlando Gardens Maryland Heights location off Dorsett. My ccordinator was Candee Cundiff and she was absolutely a JOY to work with. The Maryland Heights location is a renovated location and has brand new EVERYTHING. The place has high ceilings unlike the other OG locations. Everything was fresh and new inside and didn't feel clostrophobic like many typical banquet centers/halls. They pair up with Doubletree and Wedding Wonderland (cake place) to give us free shuttle service for our guests that stay at Doubletree and awesome wedding cake. This place is very pretty! And we were on a budget, but the price fit our budget!

Orlando's made my wedding so easy and convenient. I didnt have to set up, or take down. They handled everything perfectly. The only complaint I had was that I wanted a couple of highchairs for family and friends that had babies that didn't get put out. But overall it was perfect.

This is the second time I've used Orlando Gardens for an event. You will never find an "All In One" place to find everything you could need for your event. I'm not the best planner in the world and I put all of my trust in Orlando Gardens to execute the vision I had. And they DID NOT LET ME DOWN. The food was exceptional, the extras were perfect and there were absolutely NO surprises. You can not go wrong booking with this facility. In fact, I can't imagine any planning of an event going easier than mine did. Best of Luck!

We had a family reunion banquet at Orlando Gardens Banquet Center on Watson Rd on July 14.The help with the planning was great. Drew Formenti asked the right questions that enabled us to think ahead things we may not have thought about. The facility was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the service staff was courteous and helpful. We(the family) had a wonderful evening!

We had my daughters wedding reception at the Orlando Gardens Banquet Center (Watson Road location). The staff at Orlandos were fabulous. From the very beginning down to the final minute, they were exceptional. Obviously, this is something you do not do everyday and the staff at Orlandos walked us through every step of the way. We had several options to choose from in planning our event. They were friendly, courteous and extremely helpful. The event was breath takingingly beautiful. So many of our guests complimented the event and was extremely pleased in the food and service. Every worker present that evening went out of their way to make our reception be what it was. The facility was extremely clean, well maintained and exceptionally beautiful. We shopped around prior to choosing Orlando Gardens and their prices were especially low compared to other vendors. The quality of service, food, etc was exceptional. The staff at Orlandos went out of their way to make this special day in our lives - even more special. I would like to compliment the entire staff at Orlando Gardens Banquet Centers and would highly recommend them to anyone hosting an event. Thank you very much for taking the time to make our day in history such a memorable one.

We held our wedding reception at Orlando Gardens. Everyone was so accommodating at our planning meetings. As soon as we walked in the door the day of the wedding we were met by a coordinator who led us through our reception. He asked if we needed anything often, the food service was great and the bartender was very upbeat. Mike Orlando (owner) even came in to introduce himself and tell us if we had any requests don't hesitate to ask. We were very pleased with the event and the service that was provided. I would recommend Orlando's for any event.

We recently held a second wedding reception at Orlando Gardens in Webster. It was the perfect place for our gathering! The staff was friendly and attentive. Everything looked wonderful and the food was amazing! Orlando Gardens is great place to for a wedding reception or anniversary. It's an excellent value and the staff are very welcoming.

Orlando Gardens was the PERFECT venue for our wedding reception! While the emerald green/brass yellow decor is outdated for the 2000's, the space can be completely transformed with regards to your own color scheme via centerpieces, party favors, etc. I didn't even notice the outdated color scheme in the photographs. The food? DELICIOUS. I had a little bit of everything and nothing was short of yummy. I would recommend the Deluxe Menu as it has the best value and hello? Prime Rib with Horseradish Mousse? Delicious! I would also recommend the Chicken Modiga and any of their grilled vegetable platters. Our coordinator, Tommy, was very helpful and did not push us into any quick decisions or try to coax us into getting something extra we didn't want nor need.

Their food was fine, but that is only one part of what a caterer should provide for a wedding. I was very disappointed with the attitude and overall attention to detail. They arrive just in time and leave as soon as they are finished. Not the type of service I am used to. They will not help the bride and groom cut the cake. Make sure you have your own cake plates, serving utensils, forks, napkins, etc... They arrived in the middle of my wedding, and were not quiet or discrete. I would not suggest they be used for a wedding. If you are looking for someone to provide food for another type of event, I am sure they would be fine.

This place is elegant yet simple and staff is wonderful. The day of the reception went smoothly although the wedding party was late arriving and more guests came than expected, the staff accommodated with a smile on their face and no issues at all. I do suggest though that you avoid dealing with the actual owner cause he isn't as friendly or compassionate as the rest of the staff.

The food was amazing! The hall looked great! The staff was very friendly and never had to return a phone call because they always answered! But there were several things that happened that I was upset about. They told me that they would set out my place cards, I even sent the 2 spreadsheets a week in advance so they could figure out which would be easier. My aunt, uncle, and cousins were scrambling to put them out because they were still sitting in a box when they got there! And they had no idea who had which date, so no one was sitting next to the person they should have been! Then the kids never got their kids meals. I had 6 between the ages of 2-12 and none of them wanted vegatable sambucca or chicken spedini. I believe they ate rolls. There were these 2 naked statues on the bar that I paid to be removed because I didn't like them. Well, they were not removed. We did get reimbursed for the statues and kids meals though. Of all the things that went wrong, I don't think anyone really noticed any of it except the women's bathroom completely running out of toilet paper. Six stalls and no toilet paper!
Overall, our experience was pretty good, but not excellent.

This company catered my wedding last month and we could not have asked for a better experience. We had a very DIY wedding, and Maryellen was so helpful in our planning, even for aspects (the bar) that didn't concern her. The food was delicious and I received compliments all night and the next day. People were saying it was some of the best reception food they had ever tasted. I recommend the chicken with mushrooms and white wine sauce and the pasta con broccoli. And getting the leftovers was great for the next day's brunch!

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Orlando Gardens, we worked with Andrew on all the details and he was wonderful, very professional and thought of everything. The day was perfect!!! The set up, the food, the cake, the staff. We couldn't have been happier with the results.

We had a great experience working with the staff at Orlando's. They had the best value by far than any other venue we investigated. The per person cost included the room rental, the meal, the wedding cake (which was REALLY tasty), set-up and clean-up, AND 4 hours of open bar. There are so many decisions that go into the wedding day, and Orlando's takes care of many of the reception details for you. We were very happy with our experience on the day of the wedding at the reception. There was a manager on duty assigned to just our event and was there to make sure everything went smoothly.

From the pre-planning to the end of the night everything was great. Jim and Tommy are unbelievably helpful and great to work with and had beatiful suggestions for the room. The maitre d' was great, she wasn't bossy and wasn't pushing out the door at the end of the night. The food was great! The evening flowed very smoothly and it was beautiful!

The food was better than I've had at most weddings that cost significantly more than $10.50 a head. Everyone kept telling me how delicious the food was and what a good job I did making the choices (I never even tasted it before the wedding day!). We paid about $2000 for 150 people, 4 servers, and a "drinktender" (kept the wine and champagne glasses full. Not sure we really needed four people (especially considering we had to hire a couple of girls to wash our dishes), but everything ran smoothly.

We loved the food! The only problem I had was when I got home with my left over cake there were ants all over the box. Other than that the place was great and very accomodating.

This was affordable and the food was great. Every one loved the food. I had the glazed ham and roast beef. Only bad thing to say is that she messed up on my table clothes but she made it up for it like a champ. So she was one of my favorites. 11 per person

I worked with Tommy, he was so helpful and supportive. He answered all my phone calls and emails very quickly. He was there to calm me down when i needed it. I would gladly have another event here again! Everything was done to the T the way that I wanted it!

Wow, wow, wow is all I can say. The food was spectacular and Maryellen was great at accomodating our various dietary requests. The servers were wonderful and kept the food replenished and hot at all times. The greatest part was that we got to keep the leftovers so were able to have additional food for our out of town guests the rest of the weekend.

We had our recepetion at the Watson location, and Drew was the biggest help! He assisted us with everything down to what time we were going to cut our cake. The only problem we had was at the Wedding Party table at our reception, there were no seats for our ushers. We had gone over this a couple of times, and when we got there we didn't know there were no seats until after we had walked in and sat down. They had put our favors out for us, and had set up our "guest book" which was actually a picture frame where people could sign! We didn't have to worry about setting anything up, they did it all for us, which was a huge help! The room itslef looked amazing, and the dance floor was just the right size. The bartenders were very friendly and remembered what people were drinking, they even let us bring in some additional ingredients to make special drinks! We had an amazing reception, and I don't think it would have turned out as well as it did if we had gone someplace else. I would definitely use them again!

Maryellen from Catering by Georgianna was wonderful to work with. She helped us craft the perfect menu for our guests and provided many opportunities for us to taste different items from the menu. I was floored to find a reasonable caterer in St. Louis. We ended up paying about $8.00/person for a very hearty, delicious meal. The service was excellent and we received so many compliments on our food.

I had my reception at their Watson Rd location and everything was wonderful. The food was great and the room was setup very elegantly. We had the larger room and my favorite part is where they put our cake. It was in a little alcove behind us and it had a candilier above it, it was so beautiful. Mike Orlando worked with us and everyone was friendly and helpful. They gave us such piece of mind on everything. I am so glad I went with them.
