We were first introduced to Jose by our wedding planner. We discussed in detail what we wanted to Jose and the planner, as the wedding video is one of the most important and memorable parts of the wedding for us. We were rushed to sign the contract and to pay thousands of dollars up front, but we did it with the hope that Jose would deliver what was on our contract and emails. Months after our wedding, he finally posted the short clip of the concept film on his own social media. The film was beautiful, but it only covered a fraction of our wedding. We thought we will just see the rest of the special day in our full video. Our full video is pure garbage. The quality is so poor, the camera is shaking and out of focus, it’s not fully edited, and there are so many important parts missing. It does not compare what-so-ever to the short film he did. We all believe Jose only spent time on editing and capturing for the short film for his own exposure. He even hung up on us over the phone. We would NOT recommend Jose for many reasons: 1. Jose is extremely money driven and does not care about the importance of a couple’s wedding day. My photographer was the exact opposite. I wish more people would actually care about how special this day is for a couple and their families. We paid him a good $5,000 over our original budget for videography. That was a lot extra over what we had set aside. IT WAS SO NOT WORTH IT. Our full video is just HORRIBLE. 2. You will NOT have a voice in your own wedding video. He will promise you something, but do exactly what he wants and then tell you literally deal with it. 3. He does not speak English really well, so all of our voice overs are completely out of place and some don’t even make sense. After recording voice overs so many times, and him telling us he has what he needs, we thought it would work out just fine. Nope. And he won’t fix it either. 4. He will randomly ask for more money and demand that you pay him right away, AFTER you have signed a contract and made the full payment. We almost canceled the service the day before the wedding, because we’d had enough. 5. He charged all his food, parking and other expenses to our credit card WITHOUT our authorization. If we hadn’t looked into it, we would have never found the extra charges on our credit card that were NOT agreed to on our contract. 6. He is disrespectful to everyone involved in the wedding. He will be rude to all your other vendors and not work professionally with anyone. 7. He will be rude and dismissive if you even have a question after the wedding is over. He was rude to my husband, me, and my family. 8. Your special day will not be covered. I don’t have shots of my gown, my shoes, and accessories, our cake cutting is half missing, and the list goes on. Poor quality on the full video. 9. He will have the camera out of focus, and on a stand the whole night. Don’t make a mistake and think you will have a creative video. He will only care for what he can use for his website, the rest will be unedited and just garbage. You can’t really use it or ever enjoy watching it. It’s just all short clips slapped together. 10. When we asked to buy our raw footage, he said he deleted them. We know he never captured the full day. He lied and cheated us to pay him thousands of dollars and made up excuses for everything we were concerned about. He is not helpful and so beyond unprofessional. He ruined the experience and memories for our big day.
