I would highly recommend Waterfront Catering. We used them for our wedding (205 people) and they were excellent. Anna is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. The food was hot and delicious. The service was great. Nothing but great things to say!

We absolutely recommend Best Western/Oshkosh Convention Center! Anna was amazing through the entire process and always so helpful. The day of went smoothly and the serving staff was great. We rented the outdoor space and one of the halls, both were super affordable. The food was great and we got so many compliments on it. I wish we could have another wedding there!
We had an absolutely awesome time at our wedding at The Best Western. The food was PHENOMENAL! All of our food at dinner as well as the carrot cake that we had made was just delicious. So many guests had nothing but positive things to say! Highly Recommend.

The Best Western Premier Waterfront Hotel and Conference Center is the perfect place to have a wedding. We had a beautiful outdoor ceremony overlooking the Fox River with an easy transition into our event space for our reception. Our friends and family thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful views, delicious food and great services that the staff at the Best Western provided. We received wonderful feedback from our guests and we couldn't be happier. Anna, the Wedding & Events Manager was amazing to work with! She was kind, professional, attentive, on point answering back to emails, calls, changes and concerns. Anna was so helpful through the entire process, it was a pleasure working with her. We would absolutely recommend this venue without hesitation!
There are no words to describe how great it was working with Anna and her team at the Best Western. Anna answered all of my many questions during the planning process and took the time to meet with us several times to ensure all the details were covered. Anna and her team made sure that our day went off without a hitch and because of them, our day was absolutely perfect from start to finish. She even helped set up all of our decorations when we couldn’t get into the venue to set it up ourselves! We are so thankful for all their help in giving us the day of our dreams.

Best Western Premier Waterfront catering was exceptional! Their catering coordinator, Anna, was communicative, organized, and friendly. Anna was always timely when answering any questions we had and their ability to be flexible and make modifications to our food vision was fantastic! The staff present on the day of our wedding were friendly and helpful to all the guests. On top of the great service, the food had a lot of compliments from our guests with a good variety and delicious taste. I would highly recommend this catering service for any celebration!
Anna Forslin was without a doubt, the best contact person we worked with throughout our wedding process. She was prompt, thoughtful, and truly took the time to get to know us and adjust to how we wanted our wedding. The front desk staff, and the catering staff was incredibly kind, and thoughtful as well. Best Western as a whole, was loved by all attendants and guests at our wedding for all of their hard work with the food, the rooms, the conference rooms to get ready in, etc. Truly so happy we used their services!

Couldn't have asked for a better caterer! The entire process with the BW events team was seamless and stress-free. The service at the wedding continued in the same manner. SO many compliments on the food and the provided wait staff. People went up for 2nds and 3rds! From start to end, it was a delight working with them. Anyone would be lucky to have them be apart of their big day!

Everything about our catering services were perfect for our wedding day! We ordered a macaroni and cheese bar for our cocktail hour, four different plated dinner options, and an ice cream bar to have four our reception. Every single food option was delicious and presented beautifully. We received many positive comments from our guests and I am certain nobody left hungry! Christine was a dream to work with through the wedding planning process and offered so much help and guidance. Everything about working with Premier Waterfront was a dream - 110% recommend!
Everything was phenomenal! Over and above what we imagined! The staff was so kind and we appreciated every one of them. The buffet was gorgeous, and the food was somehow even better than when we tasted it!
Pretty standard catering company. Can't go wrong with their food and the serving staff was great. Tips are included in the contract so there is no need to worry about tipping. They were very fast with their setup and only talked to me when they left. I asked them to get champagne glasses, but they didn't have any so be specific in your ocntract.
We used them to cater our wedding in Oshkosh, and it was perfect! Quick efficient plated service, and very affordable. No one was left hungry, the servings were significant, and the food the day of was even better than the tasting! Christine was a dream to work with, very professional and quick to respond to my questions. I would absolutely recommend them to others looking for caterers in the Fox Valley.
The staff from our wedding contact to our banquet staff was amazing for our wedding. They all took the time to answer all of our questions and ask if we needed anything every step of the way. Also very accommodating to my grandma in the wheel chair and helping her make a plate. They were 10/10 all through out the night. The food, price and set up was really good. We had our own décor for our wedding but everything was set up how we requested and accommodating to add more tables last minute. The only downfall was it was extremely hot in the convention center during the wedding.

Best Western was absolutely phenomenal to work with! They were always quick to respond to any questions we had, extremely organized, and very reasonable prices. Christine truly made planning our wedding easy with them, from our rehearsal dinner to our appetizers, to dinner and late night snacks. Everything was perfect and we had a lot of compliments on our dinner too. The staff at our wedding were professional and very nice. We actually ran out of cake and were not able to keep our top tier as planned and had to give it out to guests (the cake was not made by best western), our event manager was quick to offer their chef to make us a different cake for us to save for our anniversary. This was such a special touch! I HIGHLY recommend them for any catering need!!
The staff was all extremely helpful and flexible. The menu options and ability to customize your meal choices was great as well as the food. All meal options we selected for our wedding (Chicken, Cod and Steak) were amazing. All of our guests loved the food.
We had our wedding at Gordon Bubolz Nature Preserve, and decided to have our food catered through Best Western Premier Waterfront. The food was amazing quality and all the staff we worked with along the way was very helpful and friendly. We got many compliments on how good our wedding food was. We even had some guests reach out to us after the wedding to ask for the name of our caterer as they had family members/friends getting married and wanted to share the name as they were so impressed. Glad we picked to work with them, and have no regrets or complaints at all.
I usually never leave reviews but this venue earned a review for sure.My wedding was Sept.5,2021.I worked with David Helgeson through the whole planning process.David's customer service was beyond OUTSTANDING I swear I couldn't thank this guy enough because that alone meant so much to me !He was there whenever i needed him.He answered every question I had & in a timely manner whether it was via email or phone call,he also reassured me that everything would go well & no need to worry!My husband & I are so glad that we choose Best Western Premier Waterfront Hotel & Convention Center to have our wedding. Christy Marquardt, the Director of Catering was very easy to work with throughout the whole process. She answered our questions in a timely manner and had a very clear communication process. From setting up a time to tour the venue to discussing decor she was excellent.
10/10 We were able to celebrate our wedding not once but twice with the Best Western and Convention Center. In January we hosted our smaller celebration on our wedding day in the hotels ballroom with about 35 people. It was absolutely beautiful, felt intimate, and the service was phenomenal. We also did our rehearsal dinner in the east side ballroom at the convention center the night before and did the taco bar. Everyone loved it and people stuck around chatting for a while after. Great service, wonderful on the bar bartenders and they put out some simple centerpieces for us as well.
We then hosted a larger reception at the end of June at the convention center (the side looking out onto the water). Again just an absolutely beautiful space, we expanded the dance floor which was awesome – especially in todays world with COVID it helped people feel like they were not dancing on top of each other. We had plenty of space for tables to be spread out nicely, have an arch/photo spot, bags boards, memories table, dessert table and gifts. We had about 150 people total and heard great complements from many. Again, cannot say enough great things about David and his team! We had some major changes due to COVID and they handled it with grace and worked with us to find a second date for our large reception. The team also checked in on us throughout the whole set up process both times and made sure we had everything we needed. 10/10 would host an event with them again.
I was very pleased with David and the entire staff for their courtesy, professionalism, and communication during my daughter's wedding. This included the time involved to decorate the hall, the rehearsal dinner, the wedding itself, and the breakfast/gift opening the next day. I would highly recommend this venue!
We had our wedding at the Best Western on 7/2/21 after postponing our wedding twice and cancelling at our original venue. We had the opportunity to work with David Helgeson, the Director of Sales, and were so impressed with the communication and professionalism throughout the entire process. We were unsure of what our day would look like with safety procedures and guidelines, but David kept in constant communication with us and assured us that the Best Western would work with us. Our guests raved about the food and the waterfront views. The staff was so helpful to us and our guests the entire night, as well as when we came in early to decorate, at our rehearsal dinner, and at breakfast the next morning. We would HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone!
The Best Western in Oshkosh was a beautiful venue the staff and coordinator were just a dream to work with they went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was exactly what we wanted.
We held our wedding at the Best Western Waterfront in Oshkosh on May 15th. When the planning process started, we checked out almost a dozen different venues and this one stood out immediately! Many venues had open dates but some made it very clear they were not interested in hosting a gay wedding event. When we met with David Helgeson we knew this was the right place for our wedding. Davig was amazing to work with, he assured us they could pretty much accommodate anything we needed. During the process, we needed to go back to the venue to take some measurements, take additional photos etc and the staff was always very helpful, even during the Covid restrictions. A few weeks before the wedding, we met with David and finalized things, he had some very good suggestions about placement, food changes and bar set up. The day before the event we went to set the room up, the staff was always there to help out with things we forgot or questions we had.
Then the day of the wedding finally arrives!
Everything was set up perfectly, we started with photos taken outside by the riverfront, then moved inside for the open bar. The bartenders were the best, no one waited for a drink and the drinks were perfectly made. The plated meal was served promptly, everyone said their meals were very tasty, hot and filling. More than a few times someone from the staff would check in to make sure everything was going as planned. The entire evening was better than we could have ever imagined!
We also booked rooms for all our family members to stay at the hotel, something we wanted to be able to do for them, since many had to drive almost an hour to get here. David took care of all of the room reservations as well as making sure they all received our welcome package.
Overall this was an amazing experience and while I know there is a terrific staff working with David Helgeson, I cannot remember all of their names, but we will never forget everything they did to make our day special!
We had our wedding at the Best Western Premier and we are so happy with our choice. They were so flexible with everything happening with COVID. Christy was so easy to work with and was quick to respond to my many emails! She was WONDERFUL! Everyone was great to work with. Everything went so smoothly wedding day! On behalf of everyone in our family, we want to thank you and your team for an amazing night of celebration last Saturday night. We could not have asked for anything more from anyone in your organization. The attentiveness of you and your team was flawless and all of you kept in constant communication throughout the evening as to how things were going. The food was excellent (we received numerous positive comments) and the speed in which our guests were taken through the buffet line was excellent. The waitstaff did an excellent job of continually clearing tables as our guests were finished with their dinner. Ian and the two young ladies bartending provided amazing service to our guests with speed and accuracy (again, we received numerous positive comments). The ability for our guests to mingle outside was a huge plus for the night given the COVID-19 situation and the grounds. lighting and areas for people to sit down and talk were much appreciated by many. Your willingness to allow us to remove the decorations and such on Monday morning was an absolute godsend to my wife and I. We were greeted by a young man who provided us with carts and the process we were dreading was simple and easy.
Again, we cannot thank you and your team enough for your hospitality, communication and outstanding customer service. We would highly recommend your venue to anyone. Despite all the covid craziness this venue was an absolute godsend to work with!! They opened the other half of the hall to space out our guests, worked with our meticulous details, set out a sanitation station for guests and handled an unwelcome wedding crasher with ease. Oh, and guests raved about the food!! We cannot rate this venue high enough!!
Miranda, at The Best Western, Oshkosh, was phenomenal, in handling the details, big and small, for my daughter's wedding last weekend. I cannot put into words what a relief it was to be able to bounce ideas off her and she never acted like we were annoying her or bombarding her for her advice, although we are fully aware of how busy she is every weekend, with folks just like us. She was there, every step, the day of the wedding, checking in on us in the morning, set up, and prior to dinner, she made herself visible and available!! Love her! Would definitely recommend the facilities, hotel and their full crew. Excellent service, excellent food!

We were married here on August 24th. We rented the South Half of the Convention Center. We booked about a year ago after getting engaged. The preparation was painless with Miranda. She was so calm and answered any/all questions we had in a timely manner. She makes sure your day is everything you want it to be! Our wedding turned out to be the most amazing day. We had so many compliments on the professionalism of the venue along with how kind all of the staff was. Looking back we wouldn't of changed a thing. Miranda and her team did a phenomenal job and we cannot thank her enough!!
We had our wedding on 8/3 at the Best Western Hotel and Convention Center. It was absolutely the best day ever and it is all thanks to Miranda and the BW banquet staff as well as the managers of the hotel, Dan and David. Miranda was very responsive throughout our entire wedding planning process and was accommodating as possible! The only time I had to wait for an email back (on a very rare occasion) was maybe a Sunday or Monday afternoon when Miranda was likely not in the hotel. :)
Food - We had our dinner catered (of course) through the convention center’s banquet staff and it was amazing! We received so many compliments all night, and are still receiving those compliments, about how great the food was as well as how amazing the banquet staff did in getting all of the food out. Our wedding was about 240 people and we have been to weddings of smaller sizes, where we ended up waiting a very long time to receive our meal. There were many comments about how efficient the banquet staff was in getting all of the plated meals out to the tables in a timely manner!
Budget - Yes, weddings are expensive but in terms of all of Oshkosh, this venue was the most affordable for us as well as it offered everything we wanted and needed. There is a hotel
Attached so we did not need to worry about a shuttle, it is located right on Main Street so people had places to go between mass and the reception, it is on the water so it offered a pretty backdrop for pictures, and the venue was large enough to accommodate our guest list.
Miranda was amazing to work with! She is very insightful and accommodating. All of the staff were helpful and friendly during our reception. Everyone made sure we had everything we needed. The space was beautiful and the food and drinks were great.
The Best Western building, faculty, and staff made our day perfect. Their experience and knowledge made planning the event very easy.

My husband and I got married here a month ago and everything was lovely! We worked with Christy and between her and our wedding staff, it was handled with class and perfect execution. The staff was all super helpful and cheery which made it easy to go to them if there was a question. It was a magical day!
We have nothing but wonderful things to say about the Best Western team! Having catering, bar service, the ceremony, and reception all provided by one place was incredibly helpful to us, as we were planning the wedding from four hours away. Miranda Gorges, their wedding and event manager, answered every one of our MANY questions and was helpful in providing guidance on decor and setup. She arranged for a couple different tours of the venue as well. The ceremony along the river was beautiful and the staff took care of chair setup and takedown. The reception space was recently updated and had everything we needed for the dinner and reception--plenty of space, tables for decor. The catering and bar staff were wonderful; they went out of their way to ensure that we and our guests had everything we needed and more. One woman even kept my meal warm while my husband and I went out to take a few pictures! We also held our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner at the Best Western, at which the staff was also very nice and accommodating. We would highly recommend this venue for a wedding!

We would choose Best Western Premier Waterfront Hotel/Convention Center OVER AND OVER AND OVER again. They were great to work with, especially Miranda. She helped and guided us every step of the way. Our venue was beautiful and having the south-side ballroom with the accessible patio. Our guests had a blast, and we loved the central location of the venue.

We had a wedding here in the past, so knew the size was large enough for our family of 300+ people. We met with Miranda our wedding coordinator and she was great at answering all of our questions. We had our food catering from Ground Round across the street and we had a hotel block at the Best Western across the street as well. Everything was very convenient, which is a blessing for a bride planning a wedding :)

My Husband and I recently had our wedding reception at the Best Western Premier Waterfront Hotel and Convention Center in the South Convention Room. Miranda started working with us very early on, answering questions and providing a ton of support. Every detail was accounted for, and we always felt confident that we were being well cared for. Miranda made sure that every detail was executed perfectly. The staff was very flexible allowing for different event teams to set up the room for the evening, along with checking in with me throughout the night. Everything was perfect the night of my wedding. I couldn't have asked for a more perfect evening. The food was delicious, and so many people complemented us on what we chose to have served. The service was exceptional and our guests enjoyed all of the small details. The room was a perfect location for guests to venture outside to enjoy the outside patio. Wonderful service and venue, couldn’t have asked for a better night.
I am so glad we chose to have our wedding reception at The Bestern Western in Oshkosh. All of the staff was phenomenal- from the coordinator, servers, bartenders, etc. Everyone was so helpful and pleasant. They really seemed to care and wanted to be sure we had a seamless event. We used Best Western as our hotel site, and our reception was right next door at Becket's. Best Western gave us an awesome deal for all of our guests, and the suite we picked was PERFECT for getting ready on the morning of our wedding. Couldn't be happier with choosing them. Forewarning though, they do not serve continental breakfast, so make sure your guests are aware of that.

We planned our wedding all the way from California, so it was a little scary picking a catering company with never tasting any food. But we were very pleased with how everything went! Miranda was on top of everything and answered ever question I had in a timely manner. She made the process amazing and painless!
Another thing that made the choice of picking them easier was they included linens and provided our hotel for free the night of the wedding!

We ending up going with the chicken oscar, Bacon wrapped filet, stuffed peppers for the vegetarians, and the chicken tenders for the kids. We also had custom cupcakes made!! Those were to die for! We had about 13 dozen cupcakes and we chose 4 different kinds that we got to pick the flavor of, which was very awesome!
My overall rating for Best Western Premier Waterfront Hotel would be a strong 5 stars! They are so helpful and work very well with you to get everything you want to make your wedding day perfect!

I was not a big fan of a hotel wedding but with so many out of town guests it just made sense. The staff was fantastic and made the day perfect! They pay attention to every little detail and work to tailor the event to your needs. I even planned the wedding from a different state. I highly recommend the venue!
This venue was fabulous for our wedding day! I would definitely recommend it to others! The convention center south room with the windows was just beautiful! The food was great and the staff was as well.

I was amazed at how wonderful the room looked. I was a little nervous, but the ballroom looked gorgeous! The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. I appreciate all they did to make our day wonderful! Absolutely wonderful!
My husband & I got married at the Oshkosh Convention Center and it was everything we had thought it would be and more! The service was amazing, the staff was great to work with and we were so happy to have chosen the Convention Center! We had our original hall go bankrupt on us and Johanna, David, & the rest of the staff were so nice to work with and made the transition so easy! We had a lot of ideas we were going to use for the first hall and they were more than happy to accommodate to our needs to make the day as special as it was! The communication we had with Johanna was quick responses and we got everything done! They were great with changes that had to be made and so easy to get along with. If you have anyone that's engaged I highly recommend the Oshkosh Convention Center for the reception!

The Waterfront did the food for not only our wedding reception, but our cocktail hour hors d'ouevres, and our gift opening breakfast. Everything was delicious.
It was maybe a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. And we got high-quality, tasty food that everyone raved about.
The Best Western Premier and Waterfront Hotel was phenomenal in helping us prepare for our day.
Johanna the coordinator was essential in everything coming together with no trouble at all.
Because we had our wedding on a Friday, we were able to add personal touches elsewhere to our wedding due to the costs that were eliminated from a Friday wedding. If you get married at the Oshkosh Waterfront Hotel and Convention Center you will not pay for a banquet hall fee (unless you also have your ceremony there outside). You also recieve three hotel rooms to give out to your guests at your blessing, (the bride and groom can upgrade to a suite for $100.)
The food was delicious, in fact we had multiple people comment that if they left our wedding hungry, it was the person's fault that didn't eat...and we had an appetizer wedding with the fajita bar. The beverage packages are also the way to go! The girls were very excited to get wine, instead of just the standard beer all night long.
While getting married on a Friday you also get bartending services, and cake cutting services waived. You really cannot beat the amount you spend for the quality of the day at the Best Western Premier Waterfront and Oshkosh Convention Center.
The staff was easy to work with, there a couple of options for reception halls, food was delicious, and the space was nice.
My husband and I had the best experience at the Best Western for our wedding. We had our reception in the ballroom, which is a beautiful space with all the light fixtures and chandeliers. The staff was wonderful and we had so many compliments on the food buffet. From set-up to take down, the process went very smooth. I would highly recommend having your reception here!
My husband and I had a very short engagement and were able to reserve the Waterfront Hotel with 2 months notice since they are currently renovating the hotel portion of the space. We used the ballroom and had a wonderful wedding.
