Outback Party Rentals

Thank you Outback Party Rentals! We sat down with Amanda and Bob in July knowing we needed a tent, tables, and chairs, but we had no vision beyond that! Over our conversation, they made a lot of amazing recommendations that really made a difference. We rented the peaked tents, and Bob set them up around our homemade dance floor. Everyone LOVED the set up! We had a lot of last minute additions and they accommodated all our requests. They were very easy to work with during a stressful time! We rented so many things! Coffee maker, vases for center pieces, linens, trash cans, etc! We also had a projector set up for the kids to watch a movie with a popcorn machine. Bob recommended the Christmas lights to add a nice touch. The LED lights helped keep the dance floor lit which made it the center focus. One thing we learned, is we needed more LED lights (or strong lights) near the food/buffet table, so everyone could see what the food was. (Pink/Purple up-lights in the picture were provided by our DJ). Overall, great experience! Could not have been happier with the way it turned out!

Pam was so nice and easy to work with. I would say this was probably the easiest part of the planning process. I told her what I needed in a few emails and then she sent me the quote. I was able to pay her via phone for the total and it was done and ready to go. They brought the linens before I even got to the venue that morning at 1030 am, they picked them up after the event and it was so hassle free. Thanks again OBPR and Pam! The table linens were perfect.

We had a kind of up and down experience with Outback. At first, we had a very hard time communicating with them. Eventually, my fiance got frustrated and asked for a more reliable phone number, or we were going with a different company. After that, we had no problems communicating, and actually, as we got closer to the date of the wedding, they were very communicative with us. I especially appreciate that Outback was really flexible about our rentals, which was very helpful as we were dealing with bad weather and having to make a lot of last-minute switches. However, on the weekend of, things didn't go so well -- it turned out that the people who came to set up the tent didn't know the property as well as we had originally been led to believe, and there was a lot of back and forth with the property manager. It got worked out, and that was fine, but then they forgot one of the walls of the tent, and told us that because of this (and because we had started later than expected, due to the back-and-forth with the property manager) they couldn't finish setting up the day before the wedding. So, they came back the next day - but they arrived late, which was very stressful to deal with the morning of the wedding. They were nice people, and I appreciate their flexibility in the weeks before the wedding, but I'm not sure we would work with them again.

Dance Floor was nice, arrived on time, however, they left out a piece which could have been a huge liability. Thankfully no one tripped and hurt themselves.
