I have worked with Ovation Decor & Events a few times now, and I can truly say I've had an amazing experience working with them (Kayla). They are truly exceptional—not only highly ...
attentive and supportive to their clients, but also incredibly respectful, organized, and collaborative with other vendors. I, as a vendor, truly appreciate this!!! Their communication, professionalism, and attention to detail make these special events run smoothly. I would gladly work with them again and highly recommend them to anyone seeking a reliable, talented planning and decorating team.
Kayla and her team are all amazing. Kayla was so detailed and made sure my dream wedding came to life. She helped the day run so smoothly and was there for anything I needed. Her f...

Nik and Kayla were the absolute BEST. We were struggling to find coordinators that were in budget until we stumbled upon ovation decor. I’ve never met two more detail oriented indi...
viduals who were so on top of everything. They gave us tools to stay on track throughout our planning process, assisted in making our timeline, worked with our vendors for us to take some work off our plate. On the day of, Nik was so helpful to us and our parents - making sure we always had a drink in hand without going to the bar, saving apps for us in the bridal suite and everything in between. Our day was flawless because of Nik & Kayla and we felt a whole lot less stressed because of their help. I would recommend them to anyone planning a wedding / event!!
Kayla and her team were a dream to work with from start to finish. As a photographer, sometimes it is left to me to play the role of wedding planner on top of what I already do but...
it was refreshing to see Ovation Decor & Events were able to own the day within such a crunched up timeline. To top that, the decor was incredible! Definitely within my top 5 decor setups I have seen and I have done hundreds of weddings over the years! I would recommend Ovation Decor & Events any day of the week as they are one of my preferred vendors and will be mentioned every time I speak to a couple looking for a decor specialist! -Just Focused Weddings
Our wedding was in July and we've thought a lot about what to include in this review. Honestly, we were very disappointed in Ovation. They were very unorganized through the entir...
e planning process. They put the floral order in too late, meaning we found out our very expensive centerpieces would not be executed as expected just 3 days before the wedding. The final version was very different from the inspiration provided and promised - see the differences in the attached pictures - our inspiration picture is the one with the full branches and lights. Not to mention, they tried to charge us $400 extra for the backup centerpiece solution. Finally, we relied on them to advise on the appropriate size of the stage for the number of people it would hold, along with furniture also sourced from Ovation. On the morning of the wedding, the groom was pulled away from pictures and our guests to help decide to remove the floral archway from the stage so that everyone could fit. Note, this archway was also sourced from Ovation. Ultimately, the entire ceremony was disrupted by the crowded stage. One final disappointment - also 3 days before the wedding, we were contacted by the "finance department" with an abrupt notice that they would be pausing all work on our wedding until the final invoice was paid. It turns out, Ovation sent two invoices for the exact same amount, due on the same date, which explains the oversight. Odd and not particularly customer friendly to organize invoices this way. While Ovation did try to overcome some of their early disorganization with free adds to the decor, it really didn't make a difference as they still ended up botching the key elements of the final execution. Would not recommend or work with them again.

commend Ovation Decor & Events.
There are not enough stars in the world for Kayla and Ovation Decor team! I knew Kayla would be our decorator for all the events ( henna night, Hindu wedding, catholic wedding, rec...
eption) from her very first presentation meeting. It was pleasant to work with Kayla for many months leading up to the events. I think her enthusiastic approach to decorating our events was refreshing. She paid a lot of attention to all the details.
Few days leading up to the wedding, we had change in decorating idea and Kayla was a trooper with last minute accommodations. Highly recommend Ovation decor for any event. Already worked with them for a friends bridal shower, which was so beautiful thanks to Ovation Team!
What an amazing experience!! Kayla planned and designed our wedding and for the life of me I wasnt expecting what I got! I was blown away. From the very beginning she guided me ...

Kayla and Adeel worked with us through the thick and thin of short notice wedding planning; they are all heart! I met with Kayla in their warehouse and that was the last piece of w...
ork I had to do in fixing decor for our reception. Being there, I chose colors and told her I wanted simplicity, then had Kayla decide on all the design and pieces. I was delighted when I saw the results beyond my expectations. Unfortunately I couldn't express enough to Kayla how grateful I was for her. This is truly her forte. I will recommend Ovation Decor & Events anytime!
I cannot day enough about Kayla and her team. As a bride who barely knew what a color palette was, I relied heavily on Kayla’s suggestions. Instead of completely steamrolling over ...
my complete lack of vision, Kayla spent hours looking through photos with me, making suggestions, showing me different ideas and learning (And teaching me about) my tastes. I was planning a fusion wedding and I knew I wanted it to be different from other fusion weddings I’d seen. Kayla rose to the challenge incredibly, helping me iron out which details to incorporate from each culture, and how to make sure we had the right decor pieces for everything.
I was trying to put things together from out of state, and had COVID hit right before my wedding. Throughout the entire process of cancelling my big wedding, to ultimately deciding to have a smaller, more intimate affair, Kayla was my first phone call, even before my wedding planner!
She executed the most breathtaking decor I could have ever imagined, paying attention to the tiniest details. She created my bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets and made them stunning. We got so many compliments on how beautiful everything was, and we kept telling everyone that it was all Ovation Decor. Her patience, vision, and raw talent are second to none. I interviewed at least 8 of the most prominent decor vendors in the Chicago area, and none of them paid attention to my vision (or helped me create a vision) like Kayla did. And when my wedding planner quit on me last minute, Kayla was there to the rescue, introducing me to J2R Events. For every single thing I needed, whether I knew I needed it or not, Kayla was my girl. She is immensely talented, and works harder than anyone I’ve met in the wedding industry. She’s a beautiful human, inside and out, and I am so so so grateful to have met her. The only thing better than Kayla herself is the stunning designs and scapes she turns from imagination into reality. Simply put, she’s an artist, and I am in awe of her ability to transform a boring white tent into a fairy tale escape.
