Overland Park Convention Center

We had our ceremony and reception at the Overland Park Convention Center, and let me say- I wish we could give more than 5 stars! It was the most amazing experience. Our coordinators, Kelly and Alex, made all our dreams and visions come true! We had many meetings leading up to the wedding. I was able to call or email anytime I thought of a question or something I wanted to add/change and they responded in a very timely manner. They were reachable by text or call at all times, especially the day of and the day before the wedding. I never worried for a minute if things would go the way I had planned. Katie, the catering manager, was amazing as well! The food was incredible. The staff was fun, attentive, polite, and so accommodating! I had many people come tell us afterward that the staff and coordinators were the best they'd seen. Everyone RAVED about the food as well. OPCC did all of the set up and tear down. At then end of the night, they rolled all of our personal belongings to the front doors on carts so that our families could load them up. I felt like we barely had to lift a finger to make everything happen. I could go on and on. It was the best day of my life and I would do it here a million times over. I could never say too many good things about this venue!

We had our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at the Overland Park Convention Center in October. The rooms were beautiful they were able to enhance my vision and bring it to life. The culinary team was amazing to work with, Julie and her team made sure the food was spectacular. They were so accommodating to my dietary needs they were able to design a gluten free menu that would please anyone with dietary needs or not, the food was absolutely AMAZING! Megan, the onsite coordinator was such a pleasure to work with from start to finish. Not only is she very professional but she has a passion to make your special day everything you want and more. I was so happy to work with this facility because of the amenities they offer, all the setup, tables, chairs, linens, food & beverage, audio visual were all handled by the staff onsite, I didn’t have to juggle multiple vendors and could focus on enjoying the start to the next chapter in my life. I was able to provide their team with specific instructions and everything came out amazing! The Overland Park Convention Center and their staff are five star, the service was off the charts! They went ABOVE and BEYOND! I am still in shock by how everything came together. It was the perfect day!

The Overland Park Convention Center did a truly amazing job as our wedding ceremony, pre-reception, and reception venue. Everything was top-notch and the many services they provided for us as a part of our package were impeccable. Megan, our wedding manager, was the perfect partner to ensure our wishes were met in every way. She was on top of everything from start to finish so we could relax and enjoy our special day without worrying about anything. Julie, our catering manager, and the OPCC chefs made sure our hors d'oeuvres and dinner were delicious, and the kitchen crew took care of every meal detail perfectly. Many of our guests told us how impressed they were with the OPCC staff - how quickly the table servers brought and removed dishes and refilled glasses, how capable the bartenders were, and how every staff member was happy and smiling the entire evening. Our ceremony and reception rooms were perfectly set exactly to our wishes, and the gobo lighting was beautiful. The OPCC interior and grounds were perfect to capture amazing photos with our photographers. Working with the exceptional staff at OPCC will always be a treasured part of our wedding experience. Thanks to their passion for excellence and exceptional customer service, we now have a lifetime of beautiful wedding memories.

Our wedding reception of 120 people was held here and the night was amazing and went off without a hitch! It was months of planning in the process and they hired a new wedding coordinator during that time. Megan was so great about making sure she knew exactly what we wanted and was always there to answer questions. Julie who was in charge of catering did a great job and the food was excellent! It was so much better than I would have expected for such a large venue. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone, your night will be perfect!
