I attended my granddaughter's wedding at the Overlook. It is a beautiful sight with a breathtaking, panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. I've never seen more gorgeous landscaping. The wedding site was shaded so we didn't have to be exposed to the hot late-spring sun.
The staff was very professional and attentive to our family's needs. They treated us like their own family. A very enjoyable experience. There was plenty of parking and shuttling was available if needed.
The bridal salon was absolutely elegant. Any needs our granddaughter might have had were met without anticipation. The staff made sure my granddaughter and her attendants were cared for as if they were royalty.
The reception area was spacious and didn't feel crowded at all considering the number of people attending.
I would recommend this venue to anyone wanting to make memories that will remain forever. The peace and quiet surrounding the area only enhanced the entire experience.

My daughter had the privilege of getting married at this extraordinary venue this past June, and it was, without a doubt, the most exceptional wedding location we could have ever imagined. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views—truly, they are some of the most stunning we’ve ever seen, creating the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable celebration.
This venue offers endless possibilities for every moment of the day. There are multiple beautiful spaces on the property—each thoughtfully designed for different parts of the event, from the charming cocktail hour to the spacious areas for dancing and the reception. There’s even room for yard games, ensuring guests are entertained throughout the day. And the ceremony site—just wow. A picture-perfect setting that will forever be etched in our memories.
The bridal party also had plenty of space to get ready, and the luxurious bridesmaids’ suite was a dream. Equally impressive was the over-the-top groom’s suite—it felt like a true VIP experience. Every detail, from the furniture to the amenities, was exceptional.
The property itself is a true testament to perfection—gorgeous landscaping, lush flowers in full bloom, and a meticulous attention to detail at every turn. It felt like stepping into a fairytale.
But what really sets this venue apart is the owners. Their dedication and care went above and beyond our expectations. They were there for every moment, ensuring everything went seamlessly. In fact, they were even hand-washing the golf carts we rented just before we left—such a small yet meaningful gesture that speaks volumes about their commitment to providing an unparalleled experience.
Since the wedding, we continue to hear from guests who rave about the venue, many of them saying it was the nicest wedding venue they’ve ever attended. I simply cannot recommend this place enough—it truly is a one-of-a-kind gem that made my daughter’s wedding day absolutely magical.

We had a fantastic experience at Overlook55! Scheduling an in-person tour was incredibly easy, and we were so grateful for the seamless process. Our guide and venue owner, Larinda, truly made the visit special. She met us with champagne and was kind, helpful, and fun, creating a relaxed yet informative atmosphere throughout the tour. Not only did she provide us with detailed insights into the venue, but her professionalism and knowledge were evident every step of the way.
The venue is stunning, with a breathtaking panoramic view of the mountains. The gorgeous landscaping adds to the overall beauty, creating the perfect backdrop for any event. There is plenty of parking available, along with a convenient shuttle service for guests. The bridal salon is absolutely elegant, offering a tranquil space for the bridal party to prepare. 20 years ago, my husband Ray and I were the first couple to have the pleasure of having our wedding reception at what is now Overlook 55. Nestled in the North Georgia mountains, this beautiful, meticulously kept, yet warm and inviting farm exudes rustic charm and natural elegance. The beauty of the grounds is only outdone by the genuine kindness of the owners who go above and beyond to make your special day everything you could imagine.
