We are so happy that we chose Owl’s Nest Resort for our wedding! Absolutely beautiful views and the professionalism of the staff is top notch. Everybody was so impressed with the resort and the venue spaces that we used for rehearsal dinner, reception, and breakfast. Haylea and Lilli were key in keeping our day on a schedule and attending to any of our needs, big or small!

The location is beautiful and our Wedding coordinator Haylea who was assigned to us was incredibly kind. The staff helped put our vision together as we dropped off all of the decor and easily made the accommodations that we needed. I can absolutely say that I felt that my wedding day was PERFECT. I couldn’t be happier.

Owls Nest has the most beautiful venues and the team was an absolute dream to work with. They helped us throw a perfect wedding weekend and made sure every detail was planned. A lot of our guests chose to stay the whole weekend on Owls Nest resort and are still raving about it over a month later. A few friends have even booked a return trip already. The weekend was amazing, but the actual wedding night was absolutely incredible and I couldn’t not have done it without the Owls nest team. They don’t let you forget any details and help every step of the way. I would recommend Owls Nest a million times over!

We had the absolute best experience working with Owls Nest Resort! From the start, we knew we wanted to have our wedding here, and they did not disappoint! From the very beginning of the planning process, we were in constant contact with Gail, and were able to have any questions answered. The tasting event was very organized, well-run, and so delicious! Six months out, we were introduced to our day-of coordinator, Haylea Minnis. Haylea was AMAZING to work with! She was friendly, approachable, organized and prepared, and extremely helpful every step of the way. While we knew she was working on many events at once, she always made us feel like we were the most important people/event she was coordinating. We left all of our decor labeled and organized with her, and she took the lead from there! Everything was set up exactly how we had wanted, and she went above and beyond to make sure it was perfect. The day ran so smoothly thanks to her and her team. She was available throughout the day, did many check-ins, and kept everything on time and totally stress-free. We even had the most fun stepping away from the guests and taking pictures with her around the resort. We had our ceremony and reception at The Lakehouse! The venue, food/drink, and lodging were all amazing. We truly would not change a thing about our experience!

I am a wedding planner (The Perfect Match Weddings) and just got married at Owl's Nest last week. It was an absolute dream! As a planner, I see a TON of venues and from the first time I worked at Owl's Nest back in 2022, I knew they stood out among the rest. Their staff is so professional and friendly. This makes a HUGE impact on the planning process and the wedding day. The food is excellent and the accommodations are so nice! Taylor and Haleigh were our coordinators on the wedding day and totally killed it. They were there for everything we needed on the day of and went above and beyond for us. Taylor and her team also helped my now husband to plan his proposal at The Lakehouse back in 2023. At the end of the night after our wedding, the banquet manager drove my husband and I back to our house on site and personally brought our cards and gifts into the house to ensure they were in a safe spot. Owl's Nest will always hold a special place in our hearts and we are so grateful for how welcome we always feel when we visit. I'm so grateful we were able to get married here and look forward to working many more weddings here as a planner! Taylor, Amy, Haleigh, and the entire Owl's Nest team - we cannot thank you enough for making the best day of our lives possible! We love you!!!

We loved everything about getting married at Owl's Nest. We had our wedding ceremony on the deck of the Lakehouse & our reception inside and were able to host a Welcome Party at The Vault. Both locations were perfect. One of our favorite things about the Lakehouse is that it is a standalone beautiful venue. We felt like we didn't need to go over the top on decor because between the chandeliers, the view, and the farm tables, the room already had so much going for it. From our first time visiting Owls Nest and meeting with Amy McCoil, we had an excellent experience. She was super knowledgeable and helpful during our tour and we immediately knew this was where we wanted to get married. She answered all of our questions in that tour and through emails in the weeks after and we always felt fully equipped with all of the information we needed from start to finish for our wedding day.  The day of staff was excellent, including our bartenders (whose names I unfortunately did not catch to give credit to!). When we started working with our coordinator, we got a template for a day of timeline that included timing of passed apps going out, salads going out, and then entrees going out. The full Owls Nest staff and team did a great job with maintaining this schedule and making sure food came out on time and we are very grateful for their careful planning and scheduling to make sure there were never any delays. At the end of the evening, the staff was also so helpful with getting everything cleaned up, including one of the staff members who helped me package up all of our desserts and another staff member who drove us in a shuttle back to our nano cottage. Overall, the entire staff at Owl's Nest was so kind and easy to work with any I cannot say enough good things about each person we interacted with! We have NOTHING but great things to say about our wedding coordinator, Haleigh O'Regan. From our first meeting 6 months before the wedding up until the full day of our wedding, she answered every single question we had (and there were a lot!) quickly and with a ton of information. Her responsiveness and planning blew us away and we are so thankful to have had her as our coordinator. She kept us on schedule during the first few hours of our reception, made sure we ate and knew where we needed to be and was just a great person to have around all day. She was a key reason our wedding ran as smoothly as it did! THANK YOU HALEIGH!!!!  This is a beyond beautiful venue, the staff is incredible, and we would absolutely recommend this to anyone. It will be amazing to see all of the things Owl's Nest does to continue to grow the resort because it is already incredible and is just getting better!

Where do I start?! I think the pictures speak for themselves as to how gorgeous this venue is. When we were looking at venues in the fall of 2022, the minute we stepped foot into the Lakehouse at Owl’s Nest we knew it was our venue. Much has changed at Owl’s Nest over the last 20 months since we booked. Like other couples, this was exciting and also anxiety-provoking at times. The construction never seems to end with all of the additions to the property, but all of the changes just make ON an even more incredible destination. We loved the feeling of being at a resort for our wedding weekend and truly being at a destination, regardless of how far or close it was to home. We (and our guests) took full advantage of the restaurant, hot tub and pool, driving range, and the whole property itself. The golf course itself wasn’t open for our wedding since they don’t open it until May, but the driving range and simulators were more than enough for the golfers who came. The grounds are gorgeous (despite any ongoing construction). We have seen so many stunning photos of other couples and couldn’t wait for our turn! We were especially eager for gorgeous sunset photos. The weather and clouds didn’t necessarily work out for us, but that’s the risk anywhere. However, because we were at Owl’s Nest, we were able to still get out for additional photos as the sun was setting and they still turned out absolutely stunning thanks to the grounds and the views of the mountains! The lodging on site is great! A huge bonus for us was the ability to bring our dog to stay with us since they have pet friendly lodging options. My husband and I stayed in a deluxe nano unit, which had a full kitchen, a living room, a bedroom, bathroom, and lots of closets! Our dog especially appreciated the closed off deck so she could freely roam inside and outside of our house. Our friends and family stayed onsite in Gambrel, Contemporary, and Lakeside units, as well as the new hotel, and even some Air bnb rentals (right on the property)! Now last but not least for my ON review…HAYLEA was our coordinator and we LOVE her. Owl’s Nest assigns your coordinator about 6 months before your wedding date (and before that you work with the manager). From our first meeting with Haylea, every minor detail that we were stressed or nervous about was eagerly addressed by Haylea. She set up our venue from top to bottom exactly as I envisioned it, and assisted us through an insane amount of seating chart adjustments. She supported us through the planning process but was also SO helpful throughout our day, making sure we had everything we needed, making sure we ate and drank, keeping us on the timeline (and making adjustments as needed). We truly felt so at ease in her hands.

UNREAL venue! My fairytale wedding came true at Owl's Nest. Amy was our coordinator and she was fabulous. She made sure that all of my visions came to life. The servers and bartenders were also fabulous. We LOVED that all of the housing was right on property. It made it convenient and that much more special for us and all of our guests. We made it a weekend with turning the rehearsal dinner into a welcome party and ending the weekend with a farewell breakfast. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

A dream come true for a wedding wonderland! We cannot say enough about Haleigh, our venue coordinator, as she went above and beyond throughout the planning process. She was quick in responses via email and was on her A game not only during planning but the day of as well. We truly could not have done it without her! As far as the venue itself... PERFECTION. The food, the drinks, the accommodations, etc. it was absolutely amazing.

From start to finish, working with Owl's Nest was a wonderful experience. All the staff who helped us leading up to and on the day of the wedding were so incredibly helpful and kind. In particular, our wedding coordinator, Taylor, and her assistant, Haleigh, were unbelievable. They helped us so much in terms of letting us know what to expect and were able to let us know what people usually do if there was an item we didn't know soon-to-be-newlyweds were supposed to care about : ) . Taylor and Haleigh were absolutely instrumental in making sure the day went smoothly and that my husband and I were really able to focus on each other the day of the wedding. I had not realized when we booked at Owl's Nest just how much work the venue coordinator did - it's very obvious how hard these two ladies work and we could not appreciate it enough. They set up all of the decor (we dropped off the day prior), and did such an amazing job with all of it. We really just.. showed up after our first look and everything was put out (and they have a great eye, because even with minimal instruction, it really looked even better than what I had been picturing). The venue is gorgeous on its own, so you really don't need much, but they did a wonderful job setting up what we provided. Every one of our vendors said after the fact how easy the venue and Taylor & Haleigh were to work with, and how they really had their shit together. The food & beverage were great! We went for the top tier food package and were really happy with the experience, as were our guests. The bar staff did a great job of keeping the line short (we added on the satellite bar for cocktail hour), and all of the waitstaff did a wonderful job as well - everyone was just so incredibly kind and polite, it really blew us away. The shuttle driver that brought us from our first look & sneak peek spots even held an umbrella for us so we didn't get as wet from the rain. We were convinced we wanted a smaller wedding, and prior to the wedding itself we were honestly cursing ourselves for having such a big party & feeling like we might regret the amount of money spent. Not even halfway through the ceremony, my husband and I knew we had made the right decision - it could not have been a more fun or more joyous day for us and our guests. If we had to start the process all over again, we would pick Taylor & Haleigh and the Lake House/ the Owl's Nest Venue, hands down. Zero regrets about this venue and the team that makes it all happen. I cannot say enough about how thankful I am for this wonderful team of people that made this the absolute happiest day of my life. Taylor & Haleigh in particular a HUGE part of why that was able to happen.

Our wedding at Owls Nest was an absolute dream. We had an amazing experience from the initial tour, all the way to the big day. I cannot say enough good things about Gayle, Taylor James and her assistant! They made the planning process super easy and took care of every little detail to make sure the day was perfect and stress free. My expectations were exceeded! The Lakehouse was stunning! As was the rest of the resort. Great food and drinks, exceptional service. One of our favorite things was being able to have all our favorite people on the premises- Lodging was very accommodating and the rooms & houses were so nice and within short walking distance. It was like one big block party all weekend. There is ongoing construction- that they are very upfront about. I was a little worried about it at first but hardly noticed once we were there. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend !

The Lakehouse was the coziest fireside venue, we were so happy to have the back up option for the rainy season! The sunset pavilion, and its retracting windows, made for a spectacular sunset venue for a rehearsal dinner as well. Great service, great food, will, definitely recommend! Melissa and Andrew Musco

A dream!! My husband and I got married at Owl’s Nest Resort and it was the best experience. From booking the venue with Amy McCoil over 2 years prior to our wedding day we have nothing but great things to say. Amy was great at communicating with us throughout the whole process, was agile, attentive and provided a great experience for us, our wedding party and families. She really helped us with our timelines, making sure everyone was where they needed to be and continuously checked in which everyone, especially myself and our families extremely appreciated. Her assistant Haylea was the perfect addition to our day and made us feel comfortable with everything happening and was really helpful! The wedding experience was great and so was the food and service. Owl’s Nest is growing like crazy and while there is construction it is nothing we noticed. We loved having all of the amenities in one place, and once we got there for the wedding weekend, no one left. People were able to play golf, eat at the restaurants, stay at the resort, join our rehearsal dinner and Welcome party, and attend the wedding all within walking distance. The whole resort is very well kept and the staff around the property are very on top of everything. My wedding party and I stayed at the Gambrell houses and had a great experience. They were large, very well kept, each room had its own bathroom (made everything so much easier and faster), and we all really enjoyed staying there. Our families state in the condo units with two bedrooms and had the best experience as well. Everyone was raving about how great the rooms were and how great the service was. Overall we had a 10/10 experience. Owl’s Nest truly gave us the best weekend and we cannot wait to visit again! Thank you again, Amy, Haylea and the whole Owl’s Nest Team!❤️

The most amazing, drop dead gorgeous wedding venue out there! The owls nest provides everything you need on site! Wedding coordinator, food, drinks, flatware, linens, table numbers and more. The beauty of this venue is that it is very stress free! We are so pleased with how our day went and would do it all over again!

We had our wedding at the Owls Nest on September 8th 2023 and it was such an amazing and perfect day! Our coordinator Taylor was amazing with helping with everything we needed and made sure everything was perfect. All the staff from lodging to the wedding planning were so helpful, understanding and kind. The venue itself is beautiful and elegant!! I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and perfect venue and staff for our wedding. Thank you Taylor and the crew for an magical experience! We are so excited to come back and visit the resort.

I cannot say enough good things about my daughters wedding at the Owls Nest Resort! The venue was amazing, great food, beautiful decor and ambiance! We had the best wedding planners, Taylor and Haley! They took care of everything and we did not have to worry about anything! It was so fun having your family stay in the beautiful rooms, so great that everyone could be together! I could go on and on about this venue for a wedding! We had the absolute best weekend, the wedding was just as my daughter imagined. Thank you again Taylor and Haley for all your hard work. You can tell how much pride they take in making sure the bride has a wedding she’s always dreamed of having. It was an incredible experience!

We cannot say enough about Owls Nest!! We got married on August 4, 2023 at the Lake House and had the most amazing day. From the very beginning of booking, we worked with Amy and she was so professional, friendly, and kind. We were lucky to have her as our wedding coordinator and couldn't have been happier to be paired with her. She worked so hard to ensure every single detail was seamless and smooth despite a rainy and stormy forecast. Amy is THE BEST! Every other staff member at the venue was professional and kind. The venue itself is gorgeous. We had an amazing sunset and our guests loved all of the photo opportunities out on the deck. All of the food was amazing as well. The night before the wedding, we had our rehearsal dinner at the Boat House which was a perfect space to kick off our celebrations. We wish we could do it all over again! I can't recommend this venue and working with Amy enough!

Although there were a couple small hiccups in the very beginning of our booking process, the staff at Owl's Nest Resort were nothing short of exceptional throughout our wedding weekend. Working with event coordinator, Stacy, was such a pleasure and she did a great job making the event details planning process organized and simplified. Once our big day arrived, she was a wonderful source of comfort and humor during stressful moments. Stacy, Gail and Amy, all made us feel special that weekend and did a fantastic job making sure our wedding was executed smoothly. Many of our guests commented on how well run the cocktail hour and reception were, and how kind and friendly the staff were. The new pool and jumbo sized hot tub had also just opened that weekend, and were an awesome bonus. We had an amazing time and are so happy that we chose Owl's Nest!

We got married on July 9, 2023 at the Owl's Nest Resort in Thornton, NH and WOW. We had the best weekend EVER! We looked at many venues and ultimately chose the Owl's Nest for many reasons. 1. It's absolutely stunning and we knew right away that we wanted the option to choose between multiple venues on one property. 2. We wanted a place where we could enjoy our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception only steps away from one another. And 3. We wanted our family and friends to have the option to stay at the resort and enjoy all the Owl's Nest has to offer with us throughout the weekend. Some awesome features include Harold lake complete with swimming and kayaking, the new swimming pool (and huge hot tub!), the boathouse which is now open and serving drinks by the water, and up to date and spacious accommodations. All of it was outstanding and our guests are still raving about the resort! (And still posting pictures of sunsets, kayaking adventures, and lake views from their balconies!) There are a lot of changes and renovations happening at the resort right now which made me very nervous when planning. But, all of that stress and worry was completely unnecessary. The resort, construction and all, is very impressive and our wedding ended up being even more beautiful than we could have imagined. We barely noticed the construction going on around us as we made our way through the resort all weekend. Throughout the planning process, the Owl's Nest team was extremely helpful in ensuring our vision came to life. Everyone is communicative (especially around some changes that happened due to construction), helpful, and easy to work with. Every single person we worked with leading up to our wedding weekend and then throughout that weekend was friendly, positive, kind, supportive, and truly felt invested in our day. We worked really closely with Taylor James, an event coordinator at the venue. Taylor is truly phenomenal and made us feel like the only couple getting married at the Owl's Nest. She is detail oriented and attentive, patient, and understanding. She anticipated our every need before we even knew we needed anything. On the day of our wedding, she handled everything, including calming me down when I felt rushed and anxious. We also worked with Haleigh O'Regan the weekend of our wedding and I am 100% convinced that this dynamic duo is the reason everything ran smoothly and our wedding day was so perfect. If you’re looking for a venue that does it ALL, including lake views and mountain views, great food with new dining options coming soon, modern/up to date accommodations, lots of resort amenities, and top notch staff who are truly invested in your day, Owl’s Nest is calling your name!

Our daughter just go married on August 4th at the Lake house. We had Amy as the wedding coordinator and she was amazing! From the very beginning to the very end of our entire event she was there. Amy and her assistant paid attention to every necessary detail making for a magical experience for all that attended. The Lake house is a stunning venue and the back up plan for indoor ceremony was surprisingly just as beautiful as having it outside on the deck. So many guests raved about the food and all the staff was so friendly and accommodating. As parents of the bride, we couldn't be happier with the Owl's Nest Resort for making our celebration something we will never forget!

I can't thank Owl's Nest Resort and Taylor James enough for giving me the most beautiful wedding day. Despite the rain, Taylor and the team had a plan for every detail. Taylor was so kind, so organized, and I really am so lucky to have had her on my wedding day. The Lakehouse was absolutely beautiful for our wedding. I can't tell you how many guests came up to me to tell me that this was the best wedding food they ever had at a wedding! I couldn't agree more- everyone was so happy with their food and each guest loved spending the weekend up at Owl's Nest! We really have no complaints and would recommend Owl's Nest to all future couples!

My husband and I had our wedding at Owls nest this past June and I couldn’t recommend this venue more. The place is absolutely gorgeous. Stacy is amazing at her job. She is extremely organized and not once made me feel overwhelmed. She took care of every detail on the wedding day. Couldn’t be happier to have met and worked with her.

Our wedding at Owl's Nest sunset pavilion was everything we could have dreamed of and more. Gail and Stacy were there to answer any questions and help throughout planning. The week of the wedding, Stacy and Haylea made us feel like we were the only couple they were working with and gave it their all. They truly made us feel so special and helped in all the ways possible! We had our rehearsal dinner and welcome party at the Lakehouse the night before, which was a beautiful and special night. Everything on the day of the wedding went very smoothly and was organized very well. Despite the only hour of pouring rain happening during our ceremony and having to change the ceremony from outdoors on the patio to under the pavilion, it still looked perfect. The views from all around the pavilion were beautiful and it definitely helped take away the stress from what was supposed to be an outdoor ceremony. So many of our guests stayed on property and we have been told time and time again how amazing the weekend was. We would definitely recommend Owl's Nest to any couple looking for a beautiful venue!

We had the best day of our lives thanks to Owls Nest and all their staff- huge shout oUt to Taylor James who went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect! From the food and bad to the smooth transitions from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception everything was perfect.

Growing up I was not your typical girl who dreamed of her wedding. I have been with my now husband for 15 years since high school, so when we got engaged we were like ok lets basically have this wedding for everyone else. I know so wrong! We found owls nest on google, we both love to golf so we went on a tour and loved it. Being a little over two hours away the convenience of having all our guests stay on property was a huge bonus. I made sure every single person invited was on property whether it was through my block or airb&bs. Owls nest made it super easy! Then it came time to plan the actual wedding, I found my amazing vendors from just online searching and the preferred vendors list at owls nest. Our DJ from Meritage DJ (Cam) was unreal, he was so amazing. I can honestly say the dance floor was packed the entire night. Our coordinator taylor was simply amazing, she was so easy to get in contact with and any question I had she responded incredibly fast and got it done. Honestly, I went from being the girl who didn't dream of her wedding to now being the girl who is so sad her wedding is over!! I truly wish I could do it over again. We got married at the new pavilion, which is also a DREAM. What you see online just imagine 100x more. In person it is stunning. We had our welcome party at the lakehouse so it was very cool to have our guests see both venues. Overall, our weekend was an 100/10. Not a single thing went wrong!! All of our guests have texted us or called us saying it was the best or one of the best venues and weddings they have ever been too. If I could turn back time I would do it again all the exact same way!!

I cannot begin to describe how amazing how wedding weekend was - all thanks to our amazing coordinator Taylor James and our beautiful venue - Owls Nest Resort. During the year leading up to our wedding, we received weekly updates on the construction of the venue that assured me the staff would make sure our weekend would be beautiful! We started working with Taylor approximately 6 months before our big day. We met with her in person once and then on zoom, and not only is she extremely kind and accommodating, but she also makes it clear that she truly cares about the couples that are getting married at the resort. She had every planning detail mapped out - from food choices and floor plans to financials and decor- she had it all easily accessible and understandable. She is truly 100% responsible for making the weekend go seamlessly with our GIANT wedding party of 24!! She had a detailed itinerary that went by the minute available to the wedding party, made the rehearsal easy and fun, and made sure the ceremony went off without a hitch. Even when I realized RIGHT before the ceremony that I forgot my veil - she didn't panic. She always knew what to do and was truly my sense of calm and my security blanket. I can't say enough good things about Taylor and I don't think I'll ever be able to thank her enough for making our wedding more amazing than we could have even imagined.

My daughter was married at Owl's Nest last month, and most of the guests stayed in the lodging on site. It's a great venue if you have lots of out of town guests and want quality time together over a couple of days. The 5 stars go first and foremost to Stacy Navis, the Event Specialist who made sure all their dreams came true. If you were to write the script for the qualities you wanted in your wedding planner, Stacy is that person and more. She is truly gifted in her organizational and interpersonal skills, and her knowledge, advocacy and joyful approach made it absolutely delightful to collaborate with her. The Lakehouse is a gorgeous venue and even on the rainiest of wedding days, we were able to enjoy the outdoor options it offered. Our guests used a variety of lodging options and gave them all a big thumbs up. Obviously it's still a construction zone but they did their best to shield us from that. The grounds are beautiful and the proximity to the mountains and area attractions was a big appeal for our out of towners. When your daughter tells you it was the best day of her life, that's the best 5 star review of all!

After our first meeting with Gail, we knew that Owl’s Nest would be the perfect place for our wedding, and we were right! Not only do they have several beautiful venues for rehearsal dinners and weddings, but they also have the most involved and kindest staff out there. Gail and Stacy worked with us throughout the planning process and were quick to address any concerns we had. As the wedding got closer, we had more meetings with Stacy and she helped us make decisions that we didn’t even know we had to make. We loved that most of our guests were able to stay on site in houses, and didn’t have to drive off site for anything. We had a beautiful rehearsal dinner in the Lakehouse, and then had our wedding out on the lawn with the tented reception. Both events went off without a hitch and the team did an amazing job decorating for us - it was stunning! The food for both events was delicious, as were the drinks! Stacy went above and beyond the entire weekend - she was everywhere all the time! She even ran back to our nano to get me a change of shoes in the middle of the reception. We can’t think Gail, Stacy, and the rest of the staff enough for helping to create our perfect day! We 100% recommend Owl’s Nest as a wedding venue if you want to have the best weekend of your life!

We chose the Owls Nest, sight unseen, as the Lakehouse didn’t even have a roof yet when we signed our contract. I was so nervous, but it turned out absolutely beautiful! Our guests raved about how amazing the space was! The golf course is gorgeous, the Mountain View’s are stunning, the Lakehouse is immaculate, and theres amazing accommodations right on site! You can WALK to your venue from where you are staying. I do recommend going with an upgraded food package (above the Notch) as my steak was a little chewy. The chicken and everything else was fabulous though. The wait staff and bartenders were awesome. Amy was great and super accommodating through the process. Sean had the patients of a saint with the complicated housing situation. There were 2 weddings with the same last name on the same day which made things tricky for him, but he handled it seamlessly. I really have to give almost all the credit though, to our coordinator. Stacy Navis was an angel! She guided us through every detail, every step of the way. She answered countless questions and came up with suggestions. She even pretended to be a plate on our zoom meeting and covered her face with a napkin so we could better imagine what our place settings would look like. The day of, I really couldn’t have lived without her. She puts her entire heart and soul into her work and I am eternally grateful. Choose Owl’s Nest, I promise you won’t regret it!

We couldn't be happier with the decision to have our wedding at Owl's Nest this past weekend (11/26/22). From the first tour to the end of the reception, everything was perfect and stress free! We worked with Gail for touring and Stacy as our coordinator and have nothing but fantastic things to say. They helped create the perfect wedding we envisioned and constantly went over and above to make sure all of my guests were taken care of. Stacy was professional while still being so fun to work with. During the day of our wedding, Stacy and the rest of the staff were exceptional and made us and our guests feel so welcomed. Our guest complemented us on how amazing the whole staff was as well as the delicious food. The houses on property really wowed our guests and made for a fun, safe weekend for everyone. Sean in Lodging helped us and our guests with booking houses/rooms during the entire planning and he was so wonderful. He answered all of our questions, recommended different houses that best fit the guests, and was always so friendly. Even the security guard went out of his way to ensure our guests made it home safely. Outstanding venue and staff. We are so grateful for them all! We would do it all over again every weekend if we could!

I wish I could have our wedding at Owl's Nest all over again! Having accommodations right on site for your guests is AMAZING. It is so nice to be able to walk right from your rental unit right to the wedding, it is a complete game changer. They still drive the wedding party over for the short walk too :) We have always loved going up and visiting the resort in all seasons and are so happy we were married there. The property and view is so beautiful, we had such an amazing sunset. The property has so many opportunities for amazing pictures as well! The team is so supportive there as well. Huge thank you to Stacy, Rachel & Amy! We love you so much!

Where do I even begin? Growing up in the white mountains, playing golf and spending time at Owl’s Nest, I always knew I wanted to get married under their Sperry tent looking over the golf course with gorgeous mountain views. From the moment we booked the venue and two years of planning, we had the most perfect wedding over Labor Day weekend. Between golf, lodging, food & beverage and the event staff, the whole weekend was unforgettable. Amy and Taylor were by my side the entire way (answering any and all of my ridiculous questions at all hours of the night) and with Haleigh’s assistance on wedding day, they executed an amazing, stress-free perfect weekend. Mike and Matt McDonald and their whole food & beverage team were incredible. We still have guests raving about the appetizers, dinner and the size of the portions! Katrina, Sean and the rest of the lodging team were amazing in making sure our room block was perfect. All of our guests had the option to stay on site. They made sure everyone was well taken care of and comfortable. Head golf pro Joe Clark Jr., Cole, and the rest of the Golf staff was especially accommodating when planning and putting on our Friday morning golf outing. Our wedding day was beyond incredible and was truly the best day of our life. Throughout the planning process and weeks leading up to the wedding, Taylor provided us with a detailed schedule on how the day was going to go. I will tell you, the first time I looked at it I was a little nervous…but everything went to plan and I’m SO glad we had it. I wish I could go back and do it all over again! Owl’s Nest will always hold a special place in our hearts for all the years to come. I would 1000% recommend Owl’s Nest to anyone looking to have their dream wedding!!!

Our wedding at Owl’s Nest was pure magic — they truly created the wedding of our dreams! The venue, including our welcome event at 360, the wedding at the lake house, all onsite housing, the golf course, was extraordinary. It’s the perfect modern mountain wedding…you are literally in the middle of the White Mountains at a chic, elegant, beautiful, take your breath away spot. The food is extraordinary. Nearly every guest raves about the cookout at our welcome dinner, the appetizers at the cocktail hour and the meals at the reception. Truly delicious. The drinks were also tasty, and the bartenders were fabulous. The Owl’s Nest team beat every expectatoin we had for a wedding planning and coordination team. It’s hard to articulate how incredible Taylor was during the planning process and throughout the wedding weekend. She went above and beyond to help us plan our dream wedding, and then execute (and enjoy) it! Taylor was outstanding—she ensured everything was perfect, we were well taken care of, happy, and that we had everything in place for the best days of our life. She was diligent, thoughtful, adaptable and cheerful throughout the whole wedding weekend. Our guests had an incredible time. We all loved being able to stay on property. We were so grateful to share this place with our friends and family over our wedding weekend, and we are very grateful we booked Owl’s Nest.

I don’t even know where to begin in describing how absolutely BEYOND incredible the team at Owls Nest is. We toured Owls Nest in July 2021, looking for a venue in the mountains where we could have our ceremony and reception, with onsite lodging. Since we decided on Owls Nest, our experience has been nothing short of amazing. Even when their new hotel would not be finished in time for our wedding, we were contacted and new accommodations were made for our wedding block. We worked with Stacy through the planning stages, she was always quick to reply to emails, offered her knowledgeable advice and made sure we were on track with all of the decisions we had to make. We always appreciated her time and hard work, and knew we were in good hands, but when it came to our actual wedding day, we gained a whole new appreciation for her and the Owls Nest team. We had booked the outside ceremony at the arbor with our reception under the tent, but day of the forecast was not looking great. We were trying to keep calm and hope for the best, knowing we had a plan B for bad weather. When the rain and the wind came in the mid-afternoon, we’ll just say that for the sake of safety, plan B turned into plan C and they did not hesitate to make every accommodation for us, even though it required moving everything in the rain and completely setting up our reception a second time. The team worked with our other vendors, some of whom had also finished set-up and everything was re-set and finished in less than 2 hours. Stacy and the team absolutely went above and beyond for us, we could not stop thanking them and praising them their hard work and amazing resolution to the awful circumstances. My dad specifically was beyond impressed with Stacy and the team and made sure to tell them many times how grateful we all were, how much we appreciated them turning the whole thing around within hours and going far above and beyond anything we could have expected. I still don’t know how to thank Stacy and the team enough for the incredible experience we had at Owls Nest, this was truly a day we and our guests will never forget. 20/10 would HIGHLY recommend Owls Nest.

Everyone at Owls Nest was ABSOLUTELY amazing! I specifically got to work with Amy and Stacy mostly, and they are the reason why my wedding was everything I could have dreamed of and more. Not one thing went wrong and I can truly say it was the best day of my life. We will continue to visit Owls Nest yearly and stay in one of the houses on site, as they are so beautiful! I cannot recommend Owls Nest enough for your wedding!!

Owl's Nest is AMAZING!! Our wedding weekend was perfect. Taylor and Amy were outstanding all around: communication, teamwork, energy, and flexibility, they made our weekend so stress-free. Taylor was with us all day long and went above and beyond to make sure our vision was met and that we had the best time! We knew we were in good hands from the moment we arrived on the property! Sean from lodging was so accommodating and friendly helping us ensure our guests received their welcome gifts. Cole from the SportsNest ensured our golf tournament went off smoothly! Tim, the banquet manager helped coordinate the most outstanding rehearsal dinner and farewell brunch, even helping us find lost items. Our guests could not say enough about how amazing every staff member was. We even got some of them on the dance floor with us!! We will forever treasure this special spot and look forward to coming back for years to come!

Owl's Nest was amazing in every way! From our initial meeting with Amy, second with Taylor and every remaining meeting with Stacy, there was seamless carryover from start to finish. Barbara in lodging was wonderful not only to me, but my guests could not have said nicer things. Guests along with bridal party were able to make tee times far in advance which lead to many good stories from the course. Day of staff were beyond kind to my husband and myself, along with all of our guests. Our guests from other parts of the state/out of state could not have spoken enough good words to the beauty of the Lake House, and even with ongoing construction, it was not noted over the beauty of the day! Wedding weekend, Stacy went above and beyond not only for my husband and I, but also for our parents and my grandmother - from making her plate at the rehearsal to walking her to the car night of the wedding. Stacy was amazing throughout the entire process! We wish we could do the whole weekend over again! Would absolutely recommend!

Our daughter was recently married at the newly-constructed, breathtaking Lakehouse Owl’s Nest Resort & Golf Club. The ceremony was held on the outdoor deck in front of a beautiful wooden arbor overlooking Lake Harold, a man-made lake with mountains all around. White folding chairs were arranged for the 160+ people that attended and it didn't seem crowded at all. After the ceremony, we transitioned right into the cocktail hour where guests could mingle on the deck or head into the Lakehouse. There was a stationary appetizer table as well as staff circulating inside and out with plates of appetizers. During the planning process, our daughter and her new husband were given several meal options to choose from. (When guests RSVPed, they selected their meal choice.). The food was delicious, plentiful and nicely plated. Guests seemed to enjoy their meals. The waitstaff did a great job getting the meals out to everyone and quickly removed plates when people were done. The bartenders did their best to keep the lines moving quickly also. Overall, service was impeccable! The Lakehouse is incredibly beautiful and offers many outstanding photo spots. The walls are lined with glass doors that provide natural light, there are large wooden beams and elegant lighting that add charm, a second floor deck on the front of the venue looks out to the newly built lakeside units, there’s a loft area overlooking the main floor and a gorgeous floor to ceiling fireplace . There are also gas fire pits on the deck where many guests ended up sitting around after dinner. There’s so much ambiance at this venue. Stacy (Event Specialist) even arranged for our daughter and her husband to get sunset pictures on the golf course. So many picture perfect spots throughout Owl’s Nest. You will not be disappointed! Amy, Event Sales and Catering Manager, was very easy to work with. She addressed our concerns and questions in a timely manner , worked closely with other Owl’s Nest staff, put our minds at ease when we got stressed and followed us through to the end. She also helped with the rehearsal dinner and day of events. Stacy, Event Specialist, worked closely with our daughter and her husband planning the entire weekend of events…rehearsal , rehearsal dinner, the gathering afterwards, and everything that was involved on the wedding day, from getting ready down to the littlest detail (napkin folds). She was organized, set things up in the Lakehouse, focused on everyone’s needs, worked closely with the vendors, and truly made the day stress free. She (and Holly ) even transported the bridal party from where they were getting ready to the Lakehouse in golf carts. Barbara, Lodging Manager, was extremely helpful and flexible with all lodging needs. She offered us and our guests a variety of accommodations and worked with us when we wanted to make changes. The accommodations were outstanding and within walking distance to the Lakehouse. Ubers and Lyfts aren’t in the area, so it was nice to have rooms close for those guests that didn't want to travel. Owl’s Nest is growing and there is construction going on. I was concerned that that would be a game changer and take way from the wedding experience. It did not! No one even mentioned the construction: especially after seeing the lakeside units and Lakehouse. It was definitely a wonderful wedding experience! I’d highly recommend the Lakehouse at Owl’s Nest Resort and Golf Club!

We can’t even find the proper words to describe how amazing it was to get married at Owl’s Nest! My husband and I had the wedding of our dreams and a lot of that is because of the fantastic staff at Owl’s Nest. Amy McCoil was amazing through the entire process and always got back to us if we had a question! She took over our day and helped it stay on time. We were actually early in our timeline which gave my husband and I the chance to truly take in the day. Besides the wedding we also hosted my bridal shower and the rehearsal dinner at Owl’s Nest. Amy took on all events with such great organization and grace. Now on to the event staff, they were top notch! They brought my husband and I food and drinks during pictures, they kept our food warm while we visited all the tables and the bar staff were amazing. My MIL doesn’t really drink but they made her a custom fruity drink that made her feel very special. Everyone who attended the wedding still talk about how kind the staff and bartenders were. They truly went above and beyond which we so much appreciated! The lodging coordinator, Barbara, was fantastic!! She was so helpful arranging homes and always kept us up to date in regards to the construction. They actually discounted some of the rooms due to the fact that the lake was not finished. Everyone who wanted to stay on property was able to. We are already planning on hosting future life events at Owl’s Nest due to our amazing experience!

They say everything happens for a reason and when we had to shift plans because of c*vid, The Owl’s Nest stepped up and gave us the best day we could’ve ever asked for. Besides the breathtaking views and stunning Sperry tent, we had the absolute pleasure of working with Gail and Taylor. They were my right hand ladies every step of the way. Everything was amazing; set up, organization, coordination, tips, communication, and the food was outstanding. Our guests still talk about how delicious the food was; seriously 10/10. Having lodging on site was so easy and convenient for our immediate family and bridal parties to stay and get ready right there. We came up a few days early to settle in and it was the best decision. I can’t say enough good things about our entire experience! You won’t be disappointed!!

We were so excited to get married in their newly constructed Lake House this past October. We signed the contract a year in advance and were consistently promised construction would be done by July…then August…then September…every time swearing up and down it would be ready for end of October. Well shocker, one week prior to our 100+ person wedding they tell us there is no way the building or the man made 5 acre lake will be ready so they moved our entire wedding plan and timeline to their tent. ONE WEEKS NOTICE. In the freezing cold rain of October. Screwed up our entire weekend plan as far as decor, signage, timeline and photos. Thank god there wasn’t two weddings booked that weekend or we legitimately would not have had a venue. The new “hotel rooms” were in a dirt construction pit, luckily they refunded our guests their accommodate fees because instead of a gorgeous Mountain View, they got dirt and construction vehicles. We wish they had been more transparent instead of lying through their teeth at every turn. I held my tongue the entire planning process because I deserved to enjoy my big day but by god I am going to sing it from the rooftops now of the piss poor experience we had here. Not to mention the coordinators mixed up or forgot our information several times- missing menu items, not giving us floor plans or linen/set up options until I had to remind them for the third time. I’m an event planner for a nonprofit and can honestly say these were some of the most uncoordinated coordinators I’ve ever encountered. It’s not that hard to be upfront and organized but they made it seem like a struggle. I would use extreme caution when planning here and honestly have three more contingencies plans because they will fuck it up undoubtedly. The day-of event staff were fantastic, I give so much credit to the servers and bartenders. Sucks their managers are such idiots. The bar manager (some old man) knowingly duped my mother in law for an extra service tip. He told her there was no gratuity included for our open bar rehearsal bbq dinner (a several thousand dollar event all on its own) so she tipped the staff, only to check her receipt the next morning to find gratuity was already included in the total so it ended up being a double tip. What a fucking thief. You can be sure I will let every future bride know of this cautionary tale.

We had an absolutely beautiful and perfect wedding this past October. Taylor, Amy, and Barbara were so great to work with and made sure everything went off perfectly, despite my wife and I being terrible planners!

We postponed our wedding due to the pandemic but Owl's Nest worked so hard to accommodate us into the very busy 2021 season. I will say everything about the venue is perfect. The mountain views, food, drink, accommodations on site...everything is just perfect. You cannot beat the location. It is secluded enough that you feel like you're in a bubble while you are there but it is close enough to so many attractions on 93 for your guests to enjoy. However, what really impressed us about the venue was our wedding coordinator. We worked with Amy and were blown away with how organized and reliable she was. I am a type A, organized bride, and could always trust Amy with the smallest and largest details. She treated us like people rather than clients and acted like we were the only wedding she was handling. We lived out of state and she was always willing to meet up with us during the planning process. Not to mention on the wedding day she jumps through hoops! She walked in the pouring rain to deliver our lunch, kept ALL our vendors on schedule and helped us make the right choice when the weather looked questionable. (If possible, I would give her credit for the rain holding off!) The employees at Owl's Nest made our day incredible special and we fully intend on visiting for our anniversary every year!.

We absolutely loved everything about Owl's Nest. We were struggling to plan our wedding in the midst of the first COVID-19 shut down, and Owl's Nest was willing to give us a facetime tour of the grounds until we were able to physically get to the venue, since we were out of state. Amy answered all of our questions that day and held our date for us until we were actually able to get up there and book in person. After we had booked the venue, Taylor was absolutely AMAZING. From making time to answer all of our questions, even at crazy hours of the day, to calming both our nerves in all of our virtual planning meetings and preparing us for the minute by minute happenings of the day, she was our rock through everything. The venue itself was incredible. The rustic, secluded feeling that you get from the Sperry tent and the beautiful mountain backdrop was exactly what we wanted for our wedding day. We loved that all of our guests could stay right at the resort, so no one had to worry about driving after a fun night of celebrating. Having all of our guests right on site was a HUGE perk for us, since basically everyone was traveling out of state for the wedding. This allowed everyone to have their own little weekend getaway, while still being there to celebrate us. The food was phenomenal, and the day was absolutely perfect. If you are contemplating booking at Owl's Nest, DO NOT HESITATE, it was amazing. I can't thank the staff there enough- Barbara in Lodging was so accommodating and helpful throughout the entire process; Dwayne, Leia and the rest of the waitstaff were so great, and became friendly with our entire party throughout the weekend. And we cannot speak highly enough of Taylor- she really made our weekend perfect, stress free and did it with a smile on her face the whole time, keeping us all calm cool and collected. Thank you to everyone at Owl's Nest, and we look forward to coming back year in and year out to visit this beautiful spot.

We could not have asked for a better Venue for our wedding ceremony and reception. The staff was super accommodating and fun to work with. Amy, Taylor and Barbara are top notch people and a pleasure to work with. Our guests were so impressed with the service. They said things like "this was the most beautiful wedding we have ever been to" and "the appetizers just kept coming." And they were right. The venue is stunning from the sailcloth tent to the mountainscape that perfectly showcases the sunset every night. And the food was amazing. 10/10!

I might be biased but I think this is the best hidden gem venue in New England. We had a huge spreadsheet of about 25 venues comparing costs, offerings, photos, etc. and Owl's Nest had everything we wanted plus was one of if not the most affordable option. Yet somehow every aspect of the venue and experience looks and feels top tier/expensive. One of our most favorite parts of our wedding was having our family and close friends stay on site with us at Owl's Nest. They have brand new gorgeous housing on site with the most comfortable accommodations including four bedroom houses that each had their own bathroom. We rented about 15 houses and had about 100 people stay on the property with us for the weekend and it was SO fun, not to mention super convenient for our guests. Every staff member was kind, helpful and enthusiastic. Specifically Amy our wedding coordinator and Barbara the housing coordinator. I cannot say enough good things about them - they were angels! Other highlights - gorgeous mountain views for the open air ceremony, gorgeous sail tent - even the chairs that they provide feel/look luxe. Delicious food. Everything was just wonderful and surpassed all our expectations. Owl's Nest is still a relatively new wedding venue but they are continuously expanding and improving their property to become even more amazing than they already are! We wish we could relive our wedding over and over, and we can’t wait to come back and visit Owl's Nest as our special place.

Owl's Nest was just incredible from start to finish! The venue is amazing. The views are breathtaking and every staff member at the resort was top notch, personable and went above and beyond to ensure the experience was everything we planned and hoped it would be. Guests couldn't say enough about the whole weekend. The food was delicious, presented well and served on time and hot. There were plenty of waitstaff, which was a concern to me with a larger wedding. I would definitely recommend making a weekend of your wedding. The houses at Owl's Nest are perfect for the whole experience. They were pretty for pictures, very clean and had everything needed. Barbara and the whole lodging crew were exceptional, happily handling our many requests and even delivering welcome bags to all of the homes for us. I attribute our entire beautiful weekend to the leadership of Amy McCoil, Event & Catering Manager. I called her amazing Amy. She is professional, positive, calm and will go to any length to ensure your experience is all you've dreamed it to be. Amy was very responsive to my many emails and pointed out plans we may want to re-think. Her honesty and ideas made our daughter and son-in-law's wedding absolutely perfect. We wouldn't change a thing - thanks to amazing Amy :).

Owl's Nest was the perfect venue for our wedding! We loved that there were houses on property that we could rent and have our guests close by too! The entire planning process was made so easy by the wedding coordinator, Taylor. She was absolutely amazing! Our guests said the apps kept flowing and that all the staff were very friendly. The views are so incredible from the ceremony and the reception tent. There was a beautiful sunset that perfectly rounded out the day! I highly recommend Owl's Nest for your next wedding or other event! We will certainly be looking for an excuse to have another event there in the future!

It truly was a magical, fairytale weekend wedding event! We all are still on a cloud after my son and daughter-in-law were married on June 19, 2021! Definitely one of the happiest and most memorable days of my life. It all started on Friday evening, the service and staff that worked the night of our rehearsal dinner and the day of the wedding were not only professional, attentive, and kind but also happy! This is a true testament to how much they enjoy being part of the Owls Nest Team. They couldn't do enough for us. I arrived early the day of the wedding and stood in the tent taking it all in. A little breeze was flowing in and every detail from the place settings to the flowers and candles looked so stunningly beautiful, you couldn't help but smile. The view of the white mountains and sensational sunset make this venue a truly special place. The love and joy were palpable all weekend long. Thank you so much, Amy and Taylor, you both were a pleasure to work with! I highly recommend this venue you won't be disappointed!!

I am over the moon with how my wedding day turned out. Originally we had Taylor as our event coordinator, who was LOVELY! Unfortunately she wasn’t able to make the day of event so Stacy and Gail stepped in and I am amazed with the care, effort, and attention to detail they eluded. We had some tricky weather and a tricky videographer to deal with and Stacy took action every step of the way. She kept in constant communication and made me feel completely at ease the entire day. I can’t say enough good things, Stacy just made things happen no matter the obstacle.

We could not have asked for a better wedding experience. The most kind and attentive staff made this a most memorable long wkend celebrating our daughter and new son-in-law. Thank you Owl’s Nest!!

My husband is a chef so naturally food was a super important aspect of the big day. Everything we tried was amazing and we went with the marinated steak and herb crusted haddock, highly recommended. The appetizers are soooo delish! Taylor brought my husband and I box of them during cocktail hour so we could chow down during photos. We stayed in some of the houses on the property for the weekend and they were fabulous, so clean and big to accommodate our family and friends. I highly recommend booking some in advance, it made our weekend so special to have family and the bridal party stay there, like a mini vacation for everyone! The big day was so magical and Taylor James our wedding planner was AMAZING! My makeup artist canceled on me the day of the wedding and Taylor found someone to at least do my makeup which was amazing on short notice. She came and checked in that morning at the house and made sure I was always eating, drinking, and had everything I needed! Then when it was “go time” she was able to keep me calm 😁 The rest of the evening after the ceremony was so much fun and such a blur, but so amazingggg! Literally not a single thing went wrong and even if it did I know the staff there and Taylor would have handled it quickly and quietly for us. We love Owl’s Nest and can’t wait to go back next May for our 1 year anniversary and spend the weekend! P.S. if you or your partner like to golf I highly recommended booking a tee time for the day before or morning of the wedding. My husband Michael and 7 of our friends and officiant played 18 holes the morning of the wedding since we got married at 5:30pm and they said it was so fun! A quote from my husband about the golf: “From the moment you pull into the parking lot at the pro shop to check in for your tee time, the service and professionalism of Owl’s Nest golf course is top notch. Very knowledgeable, friendly and professional staff, From the opener at the first hole to the kid washing your clubs while your putting on the 18th green, it was unreal. And about the course itself, between the conditions of the course, the scenery, and I can’t promise you this, but the weather, Jack truly outdid himself. It also helps that you get a nice little discount for playing on your wedding day 😉” - Michael Mancino

Where to start about all the amazing things about the Owls Nest! Our wedding on 5/22/21 was the most magical day we’ve ever had, in many parts related to the wonderful staff at the Owls Nest. We were drawn to the Owls Nest for the amazing 360 degree views of the mountains, on site modern, clean rental houses, onsite restaurant and catering, and of course the spectacular 18 hole golf course (which many of our experienced golfer guests noted was the best course they’ve ever played). From the first meeting with Amy McCoil we felt important, and heard in our wedding wishes, she took the time to answer any and all questions we had during our time deciding if this was the right venue for us. Once we said yes, she was easily accessible, prompt in her responses, organized and easily remembered all of our conversations and little details throughout the planning process. We felt the process was personal not just another wedding for her to plan. Fast forward to the day of, she and Stacey were ahead of the game at every step, we didn’t have to worry about one thing related to the setup process or timeline of the day. They moved us through the day with ease. The bartenders, servers and captains at the dinner were all amazing, down to getting us our plates of food to make sure we had time eat before our sunset photo shoot! All of the amenities that are being worked on will only add to the draw of this amazing paradise retreat in the mountains. We spent a lot of time at this resort leading up to the wedding and each time fell in love with it even more! Please tour the owls nest for your wedding venue, I promise you won’t find anything else like it!

Each individual we worked with from Owl’s Nest was an absolute delight! When we booked our tour with Owl’s Nest we first met Amy, who graciously gave us a tour of the venue and spent so much time with us answering questions as we were clueless about the wedding process at the time. She was so patient with us and provided us so much support. My now husband is in the Marine Corps, and Owl’s Nest was so supportive of that from the beginning offering us a considerate discount. Once we booked Owl’s Nest Taylor, our event coordinator, reached out to us. Taylor was with us every step of the way. She was so responsive and was such a lovely support system months leading up to the wedding and day of. I can not rave enough about the professionalism and kindness each staff member at Owl’S Nest provided. Our waitstaff the night of our rehearsal dinner and wedding were so friendly, and made all of our guests feel so welcomed and appreciated. Pictures of this venue does not do justice to the breathtaking beauty. We were married under the new beautiful arbor Owl’s Nest has built overlooking a beautiful mountain backdrop. If you are looking for a venue with responsive staff, breathtaking views, and delicious food- Owl’s Nest is the place for you. My husband and I will definitely be returning for date nights at the restaurant on property!

Our wedding was absolutely amazing and I cannot believe it is already over. The day was like a dream. From the moment we first took a tour with Jess, we knew this would be the perfect place. Everyone made you feel comfortable. The only bad thing I have to say was there was a little bit of a lack of communication throughout the planning process. We ended up having three different wedding coordinators in a year span, so some details got overlooked. I will say Amy our final coordinator was great when it came down to the end and was able to pull it all together. She was amazing day of and paid attention to those little details. Where she couldn't be, her assistant Taylor was right on it. Barbara in lodging was so helpful. She made sure that my guests felt comfortable, especially during the pandemic. She was quick to take charge and make sure everything went as planned! And lastly, the food! The food was so delicious. I had not one complaint from family members who can be very picky! I highly recommend Owl's Nest for your perfect mountain wedding! Cannot wait to go back year after year for our anniversaries!!!

We scheduled our May rehearsal dinner at Owls Nest before COVID was even on anyones radar. We were excited to have our rehearsal at Owls Nest because we had vacationed there a few times and had always had a good experience along with great views and food! Then COVID came in to view and we realized we may need a larger room to help socially distance our guests. Amy worked with us every step of the way to help make this possible! She was so helpful, positive, understanding, and accommodating! We ultimately had to move our May wedding to a Tuesday in September and Amy made the decision so much easier to make! We looked forward to having our rehearsal dinner at Owls Nest but working with Amy made it all the much better/easier! She not only helped us move locations on property to allow for more space, but she helped up reschedule with simply ONE email, closed the restaurant so we could have it all to ourselves, made food modifications for vegetarians..and a last minute (like two days before!) modification for a vegan guest. She was quick to respond to emails and answered all questions and settled all concerns we may have had during a very stressful time. We were invited to come early the day of to view the space and set things up just how we wanted and Amy greeted us with excitement! I highly recommend holding any sort of event with this wonderful group! I wouldn't hesitate to do it all over again!

Owls Nest is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL venue! The views, the ability to rent houses right on site, the fact you can bring your pets and spend the whole weekend enjoying time with friends and family is what sets this venue apart from all the others! The venue itself can not be beat. Leading up to our day there were some bumps in the road in regards to communication and change in staff/management, however, Barbara, Emma, Brad and Amy helped resolve any issues and worked to address all of our concerns. While the day/weekend itself was absolutely beautiful we did feel as though the venue may have been understaffed. I’m sure a large part of that had to do with COVID and a golf tournament that was scheduled for the same weekend. Our wedding coordinator Emma was great, however, we felt she was pulled in a lot of different directions (helping to serve food/take down chairs/etc) which left us fending for ourselves a bit which was disappointing given what was originally told to us. Overall, we had a great day/weekend and our guests raved about the food and location. In the future I would suggest that when booking , staff communicate other events that may be scheduled for the same time or close down the restaurant to help alleviate the demand of so many guests at one time. Moving forward I’m confident the staff will be able to work out the small kinks and make the day perfect for all couples!

BEYOND impressed with our wedding weekend at the Owls Nest. Not to mention we got married during a global pandemic... Emma Bogardus went above and beyond to make our special day one for the books! Her organization & genuine personality put us at ease for what would have been the most stressful weekend of our lives.... The food was amazing, the views, the houses as well as Barbara in charge of lodging went above and beyond. I want to upload photos but if you're a visual person check out their instagram.
