They run such a tight ship and deliver incredible service from start to finish every time. Huge shoutout to Victoria and Lauren, who are always on top of every detail and such a joy to work with. I can’t wait for my next visit back and I truly can’t recommend Owl’s Nest enough for couples looking for an incredible resort to host their wedding at!

James and she was lovely and incredibly helpful. She was always quick with a response and she took so much off of our plates.  The venue itself is perfect for your wedding. We had the rehearsal and welcome drinks Thursday night at the Sunset Pavilion and our wedding Friday at the Lakehouse. Both have stunning views and make for beautiful pictures from your special day. Having the majority of our guests stay on the property, and the number of things to do there made for such a fun and perfect weekend. My friends and I golfed while a lot of the girls were at the spa or pool. The space was perfect for 185 people and all of the food and drinks were delicious. Super friendly employees and you can’t beat the accommodations - clean, comfortable, super convenient, and close to everything. My wife and I can’t wait to go back and spend anniversary weekends there!

r hangovers…HA!).  Our experience at the Owl’s Nest was excellent from the very beginning when we took our tour of the venue with Gail.  She was thorough in explaining all the different options, super kind, and she had the answers to any and all questions that we had. We had a blast at the tasting event that was held several months before our wedding, and aside from sampling the great food and drinks, it was also helpful to meet the coordinators in person and see several decor options in the venue itself.  Speaking of coordinators, we had the world’s best - Taylor James - to work with throughout the process.  She was extremely organized and thorough, but more importantly she was personable and fun.  We had a lot of ‘non-traditional’ fun ideas and brainstorms, and she immediately understood what we were going for and made helpful suggestions that fit exactly with our wedding ‘vibe’. Also leading up to our actual weekend we worked with Kailee for our room block and arranging room assignments - she was amazing!  My wife’s divorced parents were roomed nowhere near each other - a good thing for ALL. Now to the main event - the wedding weekend itself! We had our welcome party at the Boathouse with some lawn games outdoors by the fire pits.  Food was excellent, staff were super friendly and fun!  The weather was perfect so most of our guests ate dinner inside and spent the second half of the evening enjoying the beautiful sunset outside. Lastly the main event - the wedding day itself.  First of all we need to return to Taylor and how great she was.  She looked out for us the entire wedding weekend, made sure we were on time for photos wedding morning, and kept us relaxed and laughing.  We knew we were in good hands!  Her assistant that weekend was Victoria, who we met during our decor drop - off.  We are people who like to laugh and have a good time, and we hit it off with Victoria right away.  She was organized and had a quick solution for any issue that came up.  We literally laughed with the two of them all afternoon during our first look pictures and last minute getting ready for the wedding ceremony. Our ceremony and reception were at the Sunset Pavilion - an absolutely stunning venue.  All of our decor was set up perfectly, and the Owl’s Nest staff worked with each of our vendors so the ceremony + reception went off seamlessly.  We cannot say enough about the servers, banquet captains, and bartenders - they were very friendly and we really appreciated how attentive they were.  Also, the food!!  I’m a girl who loves apps, and these were great - not to mention the main meal as well.  We had a fun poodle themed party cart with numerous party items that Taylor and Victoria helped wheel in when we made our re-entrance in our late night party outfits (did I mention they were great??  THEY ARE!).  My wife and I have been together for nearly ten years, so this wedding was indeed a long time coming.  We went in with high expectations for a stunningly beautiful venue that could also help us put on a great party, and we got all of that and more.  Our guests have continued to rave about the entire resort!  We truly cannot say enough about the Owl’s Nest as a venue and also their staff - everyone we encountered during this process was friendly, welcoming, and fun.

e incredible team at Owl’s Nest. From our very first tour of the venue to the final moments of the weekend, every single team member greeted us with warmth, encouragement, and professionalism. We’d especially like to shout out Gail Batstone, Taylor James, Kailee Smith, and Chef Matthew MacDonald for going above and beyond. Gail welcomed us with genuine enthusiasm from day one. At the time, we didn’t have a clear vision for our wedding—just a few non-negotiables that were important to us. Gail helped us shape that initial vision with such care, and she stayed in touch throughout the planning process, making us feel like part of the Owl’s Nest family. Taylor is truly the wedding coordinator of dreams! She's incredibly organized, and also easy-going—an invaluable combination when navigating the rollercoaster of wedding planning. She provided us with planning templates and resources, kept us on track with timelines and check-in meetings, and brought such a calming, joyful energy to the whole process. Taylor took the time to understand what mattered most to us, and worked tirelessly to bring those details to life. When the big weekend arrived, she orchestrated every moving part seamlessly—all while staying connected with us and our guests to make sure everyone was taken care of. We love her! We’re also deeply grateful to Kailee and the lodging team for helping us arrange (and rearrange) accommodations for our guests. They were responsive, organized, and flexible, which made all the difference. The cozy, community feel of the on-site lodging set the perfect tone for the weekend—it made everything feel connected, intimate, and easy. Having catering built into the Owl’s Nest experience made planning so much smoother—and the food itself was absolutely incredible. We are especially thankful to Chef Matthew and his team. Serving great food was a top priority for us, and they delivered above and beyond. Chef Matthew also created a special meal for a close family friend, which had been a dream of ours from the very beginning. That thoughtful gesture meant the world to us. And of course, the venue itself is nothing short of magical. The stunning mountain views, the serene natural surroundings, the breathtaking LakeHouse, and the welcoming on-site lodging created the perfect backdrop for unforgettable memories. We couldn’t have asked for a better place—or better people—to celebrate the most meaningful weekend of our lives. Owl’s Nest delivered on all of that—and so much more. We had the pleasure of first working with Beccah Riess from the sales team. She is truly THE BEST. From our first meeting, she made us feel at ease. Beccah was resourceful, flexible, and provided what felt like endless options to help us craft the wedding weekend of our dreams. She was always communicative, never pushy, and completely open to the many questions we had during those early planning stages. Beccah then introduced us to our incredible wedding planner, Taylor James. Taylor is a 12/10—the GOAT—and someone we’d recommend to absolutely anyone getting married. She supported us through every step of the process. We loved her calm, cool, and collected approach. Taylor kept things real, paid close attention to every detail, and always gave thoughtful, professional advice that helped bring our vision to life. We truly cannot thank her enough. As you can probably tell, we highly recommend Owl’s Nest. Between the resort amenities, the fantastic restaurants, and the amazing staff, it’s a magical place. We’re so thankful for our Owl’s Nest team—people like Beccah, Taylor, and Kailee, our amazing lodging coordinator, who made sure all our guests were housed near each other (shout out to you, Kailee!). The bartenders at our rehearsal and wedding were unreal, the golf pros were a hit, and every staff member contributed to making our weekend unforgettable. re perfect day. Taylor, Liz, and Victoria were the ultimate dream team. They were so organized, kept us on schedule, and constantly checked in to make sure we were feeling calm and present throughout the entire weekend. Their communication, both with us and with our vendors, made everything run so smoothly. Even leading up to the wedding, we felt completely at ease knowing they had everything under control. The entire staff was amazing, and our bartenders, Denise and Ashley, were incredible!! So energetic, fun, and they really vibed with our group, making the night even more memorable. Another reason we loved Owl’s Nest is the convenience. We were able to host everything in one place, and our guests had the option to stay right on property or at nearby hotels. It made the whole weekend feel so easy and connected. After the wedding, we kept saying we couldn’t believe how perfect everything was. We are beyond grateful we chose Owl’s Nest and couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else!

The weekend was amazing, but the actual wedding night was absolutely incredible and I couldn’t not have done it without the Owls nest team. Six months out, we were introduced to our day-of coordinator, Haylea Minnis. Haylea was AMAZING to work with! She was friendly, approachable, organized and prepared, and extremely helpful every step of the way. While we knew she was working on many events at once, she always made us feel like we were the most important people/event she was coordinating. We left all of our decor labeled and organized with her, and she took the lead from there! Everything was set up exactly how we had wanted, and she went above and beyond to make sure it was perfect. The day ran so smoothly thanks to her and her team. She was available throughout the day, did many check-ins, and kept everything on time and totally stress-free. We even had the most fun stepping away from the guests and taking pictures with her around the resort. We had our ceremony and reception at The Lakehouse! The venue, food/drink, and lodging were all amazing. We truly would not change a thing about our experience!

e Vault. Both locations were perfect. One of our favorite things about the Lakehouse is that it is a standalone beautiful venue. We felt like we didn't need to go over the top on decor because between the chandeliers, the view, and the farm tables, the room already had so much going for it. From our first time visiting Owls Nest and meeting with Amy McCoil, we had an excellent experience. She was super knowledgeable and helpful during our tour and we immediately knew this was where we wanted to get married. She answered all of our questions in that tour and through emails in the weeks after and we always felt fully equipped with all of the information we needed from start to finish for our wedding day.  The day of staff was excellent, including our bartenders (whose names I unfortunately did not catch to give credit to!). When we started working with our coordinator, we got a template for a day of timeline that included timing of passed apps going out, salads going out, and then entrees going out. The full Owls Nest staff and team did a great job with maintaining this schedule and making sure food came out on time and we are very grateful for their careful planning and scheduling to make sure there were never any delays. At the end of the evening, the staff was also so helpful with getting everything cleaned up, including one of the staff members who helped me package up all of our desserts and another staff member who drove us in a shuttle back to our nano cottage. Overall, the entire staff at Owl's Nest was so kind and easy to work with any I cannot say enough good things about each person we interacted with! We have NOTHING but great things to say about our wedding coordinator, Haleigh O'Regan. From our first meeting 6 months before the wedding up until the full day of our wedding, she answered every single question we had (and there were a lot!) quickly and with a ton of information. Her responsiveness and planning blew us away and we are so thankful to have had her as our coordinator. She kept us on schedule during the first few hours of our reception, made sure we ate and knew where we needed to be and was just a great person to have around all day. She was a key reason our wedding ran as smoothly as it did! THANK YOU HALEIGH!!!!  This is a beyond beautiful venue, the staff is incredible, and we would absolutely recommend this to anyone. It will be amazing to see all of the things Owl's Nest does to continue to grow the resort because it is already incredible and is just getting better!

We made it a weekend with turning the rehearsal dinner into a welcome party and ending the weekend with a farewell breakfast. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

They helped us so much in terms of letting us know what to expect and were able to let us know what people usually do if there was an item we didn't know soon-to-be-newlyweds were supposed to care about : ) . Taylor and Haleigh were absolutely instrumental in making sure the day went smoothly and that my husband and I were really able to focus on each other the day of the wedding. I had not realized when we booked at Owl's Nest just how much work the venue coordinator did - it's very obvious how hard these two ladies work and we could not appreciate it enough. They set up all of the decor (we dropped off the day prior), and did such an amazing job with all of it. We really just.. showed up after our first look and everything was put out (and they have a great eye, because even with minimal instruction, it really looked even better than what I had been picturing). The venue is gorgeous on its own, so you really don't need much, but they did a wonderful job setting up what we provided. Every one of our vendors said after the fact how easy the venue and Taylor & Haleigh were to work with, and how they really had their shit together. The food & beverage were great! We went for the top tier food package and were really happy with the experience, as were our guests. The bar staff did a great job of keeping the line short (we added on the satellite bar for cocktail hour), and all of the waitstaff did a wonderful job as well - everyone was just so incredibly kind and polite, it really blew us away. The shuttle driver that brought us from our first look & sneak peek spots even held an umbrella for us so we didn't get as wet from the rain. We were convinced we wanted a smaller wedding, and prior to the wedding itself we were honestly cursing ourselves for having such a big party & feeling like we might regret the amount of money spent. Not even halfway through the ceremony, my husband and I knew we had made the right decision - it could not have been a more fun or more joyous day for us and our guests. If we had to start the process all over again, we would pick Taylor & Haleigh and the Lake House/ the Owl's Nest Venue, hands down. Zero regrets about this venue and the team that makes it all happen. I cannot say enough about how thankful I am for this wonderful team of people that made this the absolute happiest day of my life. Taylor & Haleigh in particular a HUGE part of why that was able to happen.
