Pacific Northwest Catering did a fantastic job. The grilling on site brought the food to another level as it was fresh and bursting with flavor. They were really accommodating and flexible to work with. There were a few miscommunications as we got closer to the wedding but in the end they helped to make sure that everything was covered. The staff were friendly and respectful.

One of the comments I receive the most from the wedding is the food was fantastic! We had appetizers during cocktail hour, a buffet style dinner with flank steak and chicken breasts along with mashed potatoes, vegetables, and salad. Their set up matched our theme and they were very professional. I would highly recommend Pacific Northwest Catering Company to cater your next event!

PNW Catering was hands down our favorite wedding vendor. We originally booked with them for a 2020 wedding and they were SO easy to work with through multiple reschedulings. They went above and beyond just providing food for the event. I didn't have a day-of wedding coordinator but honesty didn't need one. The staff coordinated with the DJ to keep the event running smoothly and right on time! The bartender did a fantastic job getting through the initial rush as guests first arrived and guests later told me how impressed they were that he remembered what they were drinking. The food was fantastic, the set-up for the buffet and cake table looked amazing, and all of the staff on site was incredibly helpful and friendly. I would book with them again in a heartbeat!

PNW provided amazing service and communication throughout our planning, especially as things kept changing during this crazy time of COVID. The tasting was great and communication was seamless. Unfortunately, we had to cancel our reception due to venue restrictions in the county and they were very responsive and understanding throughout that process. I highly recommend them to other couples who are planning for their special day.

PNW Catering did such an amazing job at our wedding!! They were on time, the food was so amazing, and the staff was super helpful!! One of the staff members literally went to the store because we ran out of cookies for dessert and he went to get some more, it was so extra of them and didn't even bother asking for me to pay for it or anything. They went above and beyond!

PNW Catering did an INCREDIBLE job for our September wedding. We met with several caterers and they were by far the best choice. The food is amazing and their prices are so reasonable. The day of, they had an incredibly kind guy (whose name I didn't get) assigned to the bridal party offering more drinks, more food, etc. We got SO many compliments on the food (in particular the mac and cheese with toppings bar). They don't nickel and dime you like so many caterers do and there were no surprises with their estimates. There was plenty of food and it was all incredible. So happy we went with them as our caterer (they also did our engagement party and day after brunch!) Thanks chef Matthew!

PNW Catering was one of many caterers we met with, but the only catering we needed to taste. Their food was fresh, tasteful and everything we wanted. Looking back on our wedding day, they did everything right. They created the exact place settings I envisioned, they set aside appetizers for my husband and I to eat during the cocktail hour, always made sure my drink was full and saved us "to-go" boxes for a late night snack and dessert after we left the reception.

We had some pros and cons with Pacific Northwest Catering and I will list all here:
Pros:
-The food was good, we got compliments from our guests
-The price was good compared to other caterers in our area
Cons:
-We specifically asked for (on two occasions) a vegetarian option to be available for about 10 guests out of our 60 total guests. This was including the bride and groom, who are both vegetarians. This was somehow forgotten and not offered, thus the bride and groom, plus many of our guests were left with a side salad and a dinner roll for food options.
-When I brought this to their attention they sent the bartender to the store to purchase some veggie burgers, which left the bar empty. One of our groomsmen ended up serving drinks to our guests during dinner.
-The manager who we had been working with since our first meeting told us he would be present on the day managing his staff. He was not there, instead sent a lady who we had never met or spoke to.
-We ordered some dessert tarts from them and they were put out beside the bar during cocktail hour, leaving us with nothing to serve for dessert. A family friend had to run to the store to pickup something else for our guests for after dinner.
-The day after our wedding I received an email from the owners apologizing for not having vegetarian options. I responded telling him we were pretty disappointed with how everything went. He sent me an email back half apologizing and half blaming us for not noticing it wasn’t listed on our invoice, despite that we had gone back and fourth on two occasions deciding what to serve and how the vegetarians can get their special ordered meals.
-PNWC was responsible for “water service” which we were told waiters would circulate and fill up our guests water cups. Instead, cheap plastic water jugs were left on the tables for guests to serve themselves. I would have been fine with this if the jugs were at least presentable and didn’t stick out like a sore thumb in all our pictures.
As compensation we were offered a $350 discount on our $3000 catering bill. For everything that had happened we felt that was insufficient and we would have gladly paid the $350 for a more organized day from PNW Catering.
Overall, not very happy with our service.

We are so glad we chose Pacific Northwest Catering to cater our afternoon wedding. After a thorough search, I decided on PNW Catering because it was less expensive than the competition and rated well. They also rent items like linens, cake tables, plates, silverware, etc. for an additional cost.
Since our reception was in the middle of the afternoon, we went with appetizer platters. It took a while to set a date for our tasting appointment because our schedules didn't line up for a few weeks, but when we finally tasted some of our chosen platter items, we were set.
They also increased their prices between our initial quote and our tasting appointment, but they honored the original price. We were so thankful for that! Our wedding guests loved the food and the server we hired was helpful with our cake display and cutting.
They are extremely busy so sometimes it might take a while to respond. I found that sending a follow-up email was helpful. Highly recommend!

I was happy with Pacific Northwest Catering overall, their food was very good, they were willing to work with my budget and accommodate a few different dietary restrictions for the guests (vegan and gluten free).
My biggest frustration was their tendency to be slow to respond to emails (I figured out that the best way to get a response in less than a week was to send emails with a "high importance" tag). This is the reason I'm giving 4/5 stars.

My husband and I took my dad with us to the taste test. All three of us were completely blown away and couldn't wait to book Pacific Northwest Catering for our wedding.
Al and Matt went to the venue multiple times to checkout the layout, etc.
We had the lemon caper salmon and lime marinated flank steak - so delicious. We had 150-160 guests and hardly any leftovers because many people went back for seconds.
They even went out of their way. We ran out of white wine during the reception and they went to the closest market to get some and bring it back.
Very happy we used PNWC and would highly recommend them.

Pacific Northwest Catering provided great food combined with great service at a great price! They made planning a breeze, and on the day of our wedding, they took care of everything. One less thing for the bride and groom to worry about.
A great experience!

Having a great meal at our wedding was one of the important things on our list. We found out about PNW Catering from a friend, as they catered some appetizers, cupcakes, and punch at their wedding. We went in for a tasting, met both Matt the Chef, and Al the Operations Manager, and really enjoyed the food. Most of our interactions from then on were with Al. He sat with us in the tasting, he helped work with us in selecting a menu, and he was the one we worked with in all our communications. He was pleasant to work with, and generally prompt in his communications.
The quality of the food carried through to the wedding. Not only were we delighted by how the menu turned out, but the value for the price was excellent, as it included many of the rentals (we did our own table coverings), and the staff for a wedding for about 70 people, that was scheduled from 4PM to midnight, and had both a buffet, bar, and cake service. It also included punch, and assorted coffees.
We started from some of their standard wedding menus, and then selected our own items, based on what made sense for our wedding schedule, and our guests. They were more than willing to work with us to come up with a customized menu. We chose some appetizers for a cocktail hour while the room was being flipped, and then their steak and salmon meal, but then customized it with a cheese ravioli, melange vegetables with no peppers due to one of my wedding party having an allergy, and then I wanted the PNW salad from one of the other menus. The ravioli was based on their recommendation, as I began to worry as we approached the wedding that my original side of roasted potatoes would mean that we would not have a good vegetarian protein option. They said that the ravioli would enable everyone to use the side, while still serving as a vegetarian protein. I also requested a basil butter finish for the salmon instead of the lemon butter. The salmon was so good that one of the guests who ordinarily does not like salmon apparently changed her mind about salmon that night! We could not have been happier with how everything turned out, and the food received many compliments.
They also ended up recommending our baker to us, who we may not have otherwise chosen, and she was amazing, so I was also pretty happy about that!

Poor Al. He probably saw me at my worst bridal skepticism ever. We had gone in for a tasting with PNWC and loved it. They had quoted us a lower amount than I had found anywhere else for the BBQ that we wanted to feed our 300+ guests, so I was already pretty happy by the time the tasting was over. But after revisiting our budget and finding we had some major cuts to make, we had come to the conclusion that we would have to cut the dinner and do a dessert reception only. It was so disappointing because the BBQ had been a huge part of the wedding vision from the very beginning.
Al was trying to lock us in, and I was avoiding him because I was so sad that I would have to tell him we couldn't use him. I felt as if telling him it wasn't in our budget made the "perfect wedding dream" deflated. I finally responded after a couple gentle nudges from Al, telling him how much I would have loved to have them provide our wedding dinner, but it simply couldn't be done.
Al got right back to me and asked me to give him one last chance to rework the budget. I thought "Well, it can't hurt!".
When he came back to me with the revised budget he had finagled and reworked it to a whole $1000 dollars less! I was shocked! And so pleased! We haggled a few minor details to get the budget just where we needed it and I was ready to sign.
The things that he had cut to get us the price dip were definitely things that could be spared and I felt it was totally worth it to loose a few little things in order to still serve our guests a delicious meal.
Al has been prompt in responding and has great ideas and suggestions for little extras that I would have never thought of. We have not had the wedding yet, but every interaction I have had has been fun and pleasant, I know they will make sure everything goes off with a bang!

As far as catering prices this wasn't the worst but we didn't get as much service as we thought (not help with setup, linens, take down). However, the food was amazing and we got tons of compliments. Matt and his staff were great!

OMG the food was AMAZING guests didn't stop raving about it. They catered for us about 130 guests and we had food to spare when the night was done. They have and think of everything. They thoroughly clean up and work with all your needs. They are a one stop shop. We really couldn't have asked for a better caterer. 100% THANK YOU!!!!

I had a mixed review over this catering company. First I would like to say that the food was outstanding!!!! Rave reviews by all of the guests. We had the pork tenderloin with the port wine sauce and the chicken marsala!!! But unfortunately the service that they provided was definitely not up to par. They were slow and did not provide the beverage services that was agreed upon in my contract.

Hard enough to find a reasonable priced caterer with good food but pacific northwest proved that good food and price still exist. We had vegetables, steak, salmon, starch, and juice for less than $30/person. Plus they didn't charge us for bringing extra food (I brought roasted pig & other ethnic food) and chopped it for us. And on the event day, I didn't worry about anything. They even set aside food for me and my groom to skip going to the buffet area. They definitely didn't nickle & dime us all of my guest were happy with them

The head caterer is a wonderful cook. The went above and beyond at our wedding and were flexible with every request. People absolutely loved their food. Hands down, we are pleased with our caterer choice- and believe me there were others who on even 1st impression, fell quite short. Thanks Matthew!
